Devilman

Just finished Devilman Crybaby
Is the manga worth it? Does it have a better ending?

Attached: Crybaby_Poster.jpg (690x976, 200K)

Manga ending is exactly the same

Oh... What about the other series?

The manga does quite a few things throughout the story better but the ending is pretty much identical. I thought Miki was a better character in the manga. In Crybaby she just get some toughness to her near the end of the series it seemed like but in the manga she's always talking shit. There are some sequels but I haven't read them.

Attached: 007.png (785x1220, 444K)

Check out Amon: Apocalypse Of Devilman the ending is different and i prefer it over the manga ending

Attached: 4_11829.jpg (360x480, 69K)

So the manga has uneven pacing too?

I'd say the manga is paced better but I think the ending was done somewhat better in Crybaby. In Crybaby you actually have some good fighting in the end, while in the manga it kind of skips past fighting in a montage of a few pages. There's only 27 pages after Miki dies in the manga while there's an entire episode in Crybaby.

>Miki was a better character in the manga
Every character was better in the manga.
Crybaby turned all of them into whiny teenagers (including Ryo). Wonder whether that's how Yuasa came up with the name ...

The manga has a better everything.

>the virgin jewflix adaptation vs THE CHAD SOURCE MATERIAL

Let's be fair here: Netflix had no creative control over it. Yuasa fucked it up all by himself.

crybaby was good. Yea Forums is contrarian as usual

>Yea Forums
It's a couple of obsessed /m/anchildren. Yea Forums loved the show.

>crybaby was good.
No it wasn't. Fuck off, Yuasashitter.

Attached: go_back_to_tumblr.gif (418x734, 274K)

I'm indifferent.

>obsessed /m/anchildren
There are lots of Nagai fans on Yea Forums as well, retard.
Reddit and MAL loved it. Sadly, teens from over there do infest Yea Forums lately.

Sure, but the obsessive schizo fanboys are all /m/anchidren and they tend to leak on Yea Forums lot lately. And Yea Forums has always liked Yuasa more, anyway.
Yea Forums loved Crybaby when it released, but since it's been a long time and people got tired of discussing it, only the obsessive /m/anchildren still bother.

Attached: Planet_With_2.jpg (1400x776, 126K)

I saw plenty of threads shitting on Crybaby when it came out.

And I saw many more loving it.

>latter half of crybaby is good
>overt sex and violence is good
what a teeen opinion

>Sure, but the obsessive schizo fanboys are all /m/anchidren and they tend to leak on Yea Forums lot lately
How about you stop telling people that they are wrong for disliking something you like, Yuasashit?

>And Yea Forums has always liked Yuasa more, anyway.
No, Yea Forums hasn't. Where are you getting your statistics from? From your Yuasa fanwank threads? Sorry, but this thread is not one of your safespaces. The moment Yuasa butchered Devilman, you lost your right to never hear anyone criticze him.

>Yea Forums loved Crybaby when it released
No, Yea Forums didn't love it. At least stop treating a whole board as a monolith.

>only the obsessive /m/anchildren still bother.
And yet it's always Yuasafags or those who have just wathced it who make these threads. Strange how that works.

And now stop antagonizing /m/ as if it was that different from Yea Forums - it came from this board, traditionally shares a huge part of its userbase with it and has pretty similar taste in most instances, even though /m/ will deny that most of the time (when it comes to mecha, where /m/ claims that all of Yea Forums only likes Evangelion and Gurren Langan).

You just claimed that Yea Forums as a whole loved it, retard, and that all "detractors" come from /m/.
Way to contradict yourself.

I just finished too, like 30 minutes ago. Art is distractingly ugly. Writing was service level shit. hUManS aRe ThE ReAl DeMoNs. I don't know how improved any of that would be in the manga but fuck what a waste of time this show was

>hUManS aRe ThE ReAl DeMoNs
Remember that Crybaby is an adaptation of a manga from 1972. I doubt that that idea was new even then but it wasn't as much of a cliche in 1972 as it is in 2019 at the very least I imagine.

>How about you stop telling people that they are wrong for disliking something you like, Yuasashit?
"Reddit and MAL loved it. Sadly, teens from over there do infest Yea Forums lately." Oh, the hypocrisy.
>Where are you getting your statistics from?
It's called having browsed the board for longer than you. Mind Game and Kaiba have been beloved classics here for the longest time, and of course The Tatami Galaxy and Ping Pong are some of the most appreciated anime on the board, always in 3x3 and AOTY/D lists. Nagai really isn't anywhere close.
>No, Yea Forums didn't love it.
Yes it did.
>And yet it's always Yuasafags or those who have just wathced it who make these threads.
Why are you agreeing with me? People who just watched it make threads and obsessive /m/anchildren immediately jump on the thread to shit on it, while upstanding Yea Forumsnons don't bother because they goy tired of discussing it a year ago and don't want to deal with the /m/anchildren.
>where /m/ claims that all of Yea Forums only likes Evangelion and Gurren Langan
At least you're self-aware of how your contrarian safespace works.

Yeah I understand. My main problem was the art. I went with the anime because I flip through a few pages of the manga and wasn't impressed, and heard how the show apparently improves so much on the manga. I feel like I might need to give the manga a second look now. Or maybe devilman in general is just bad

Demons are the real demons. Humans have a lot in common with demons underneath a lot of other traits that they'll abandon with exposure to enough fear and violence. Angels are worse than either.

It's shit, right?

I can see how the manga art might not be someone's cup of tea. Older manga art tends to look Disney-ish. The manga is better though. I don't know who told you that Crybaby improves on the manga. 90% of the things it changes or adds are worse than the manga (I like the track stuff and Miki's death and the end fighting are better in Crybaby imo). I do like Crybaby but the manga overall is better.

Attached: 110.png (780x1220, 352K)

It's AOTY.

Attached: 1515684383251.jpg (1264x1468, 346K)

The manga is far superior in all aspects. The fact you think the message is "humans are the real demons" proves you're fucking retarded though. Demons are shown to be far worse than humans through shit like Jinmen, and Ryo straight up admits he was wrong at the end.

>Yuasashitter
go back to /h/

The manga from 1972 did have way more to it than that. Yuasa just dumbed it down for "modern audiences".

>It's called having browsed the board for longer than you.
No sources them. Mmh ... could it be you're just full of shit then?

>always in 3x3 and AOTY/D lists.
Holy shit, you're a moron. "AOTY/D lists" are exactly where teens hang out. Look at what other stuff gets named there.
And, no, Yuasashit is not more common in 3x3 threads than other things. It just tends to appear in bulks (meaning that the 3x3 that have it have multiple Yuasa shows at once) on the more pretencious 3x3.

>Yes it did.
You yourself just admitted that the opinion on it was split.

>People who just watched it make threads and obsessive /m/anchildren immediately jump on the thread to shit on it
And obsessed Yuasashitters like you jump to defend it against people just stating their honest opinions. Yes.
And you never even manage to argue for your point. Not once have I heard what was supposed to be so good about it. You always just try to shut down anyone who doesn't like it with personal attacks. Like you're doing now.

>At least you're self-aware of how your contrarian safespace works.
Come on, shut the fuck up and stop shitting on boards you don't like. Yea Forums and /m/ widely agree on Crybaby. The threads for it on both boards look very much the same.

Okay. Shit, and this was the rare time I went with watching an adaptation before the source material. I'll give it some time and try the manga someday.

Devilman regardless of version is pretty damn shitty.

I mean the "humans are the real demons" thing is in the manga too. Maybe Akira's not talking about all humans here but it's still a thing that's there even if it's not the only theme in the series.

Attached: 132.png (780x1220, 302K)

Not actually. I'd give it a 6/10.
But had only one shock moment in the end (((angel)))
Opening had already spoiled the full plot, but I was expecting it to be a risen demon, not an angel.

im talking about cringe shit like this you fucking mouth breather

Attached: deepshit.png (1347x707, 1.22M)

It is. But the manga actually asks what it means to be human and shows the value of being a human throughout the whole narrative, where Yuasa is practically only giving us Dawson's Creek with some random violence.

I wonder if netflix chose him specifically because he looks like a hipster faggot.

>"AOTY/D lists" are exactly where teens hang out.
If you want to put it that way, 3x3 are a FAR more notable newfag magnets than AOTY/D threads. For someone who has watched thousands of shows, the idea of picking 9 favorites is kinda silly, and is more enticing to someone who hasn't watched much, is rather young and want to show off his tastes as a form of self-affermation. Not to mention that there is hardly any meaningful discussion other than rating other posters. In comparison, AOTY/D threads aren't nearly as newfags friendly and can offer much more discussion and eventually fun shitpost. You would know that if you weren't so new.
>Yuasashit is not more common in 3x3 threads than other things
It's more common than most things, especially Nagai.
>It just tends to appear in bulks (meaning that the 3x3 that have it have multiple Yuasa shows at once)
Hardly. People will have TTG or Ping Pong or Kaiba or Mind Game, rarely more than one.
>You yourself just admitted that the opinion on it was split.
I assume that we're all adult and intellectually honest here enough to know that a 100% consensus on anything is impossible, and that when someone says "x board loves y", one means the overwhelming majority.
>And you never even manage to argue for your point. Not once have I heard what was supposed to be so good about it.
I'm sure you did, but most people lack the autistic /m/anchildren dedication and gave up after some time.
>You always just try to shut down anyone who doesn't like it with personal attacks. Like you're doing now.
What I'm doing isn't different than yours "Only MAL/ANN/Tumbrl/Twitter like Crybaby, we hate it", hypocrite.
>Come on, shut the fuck up and stop shitting on boards you don't like
You admitted yourself that /m/ is a contrarian shithole. The hate for TTGL and Eva and Anno and anything Gainax is exactly how the board operates when it comes to things liked outside of the mecha fandom.

you know that satan has always been described as a fallen angel, right?

>But the manga actually asks what it means to be human and shows the value of being a human
Where?

Just like your opinion.

Attached: 66880316_p2.jpg (2508x3541, 3.85M)

My opinion is as flawless as Getter Robo.

>For someone who has watched thousands of shows, the idea of picking 9 favorites is kinda silly
Oh, look, a pretentious MALtard. Of course you'd be, like most Yuasafags.

>AOTY/D threads aren't nearly as newfags friendly and can offer much more discussion and eventually fun shitpost.
And defending the most shitpost-heavy threads on Yea Forums ... great. Say, retard, is Crybaby your "AOTD" or is that Madoka? Or VEG? Or Franxx? Maybe Kill la Kill?
Of course, none of those are just the most "newfag" popular shit around, are they? They are definitely the best there has been in the last decade, right? Because those are regular picks in those threads.

>It's more common than most things,
No, not more common than Evangelion. Or Berserk. Or Ikuhara's stuff (way more common, actually). Or K-On. Or even Madoka.
But, hey, who cares, except shitposters like you?

>especially Nagai.
So what? No one ever claimed Nagai was the most popular thing ever. Or are you trying to argue that quality == popularity?

>"x board loves y", one means the overwhelming majority.
And even that is wrong. Statistics please or shut up.

>I'm sure you did
No, I haven't. Stop telling me what experiences I have made.

>lack the autistic /m/anchildren dedication and gave up after some time.
In other words: You have no arguments.
But you certainly don't lack autistic dedication: Your relentless personal attacks and meaningless drivel right here are definitely full of it. In the same time, you could actually have tried disproving any argument made against Crybaby in here, yet you chose to go full trollmode. Congrats.

>What I'm doing isn't different than yours "Only MAL/ANN/Tumbrl/Twitter like Crybaby, we hate it", hypocrite.
That was a reaction to your bullshit. I have already given reasonable arguments for why it's shit, and I usually do before people like you drag it all into this shitflinging contest.

>You admitted yourself that /m/ is a contrarian shithole.
I did not. And /m/ does not hate Anno.

You should definitely give it a try, if only for its historical importance. It's a pretty fast read.

Attached: KYmO9.jpg (785x1220, 204K)

>Where?
Miki's entire character. Nagai presents her as an average person and makes us respect her for her own, (very flawed) nature, for her values and for her true dedication to others. Nagai's innocents are never truly innocent, they are complex characters themselves.
At the same time, Nagai makes us feel for the demons. They also get to be relatable characters.
He always elaborates on both sides in a nuanced manner before going into the extremes.

Yuasa, on the other hand was:
Look at these teens with their "relatable" everyday problems. Things going to shit. Humans bad, humans bad, humans bad. Worse teenage problems. Oh, look, demons even worse. Escalation. Humans really really bad. Aaaah, humans and demons are the same. Humans really really bad. Argh, screw it, it was Satan's fault anyway. End.

Yeah but I wasn't expecting Satan himself

>Oh, look, a pretentious MALtard
I don't use MAL. Just stating a fact, when you've watched thousands of shows making a 3x3 and rating others seems rather inane. You'll realize one day.
>Say, retard, is Crybaby your "AOTD" or is that Madoka? Or VEG? Or Franxx? Maybe Kill la Kill?
No, why the assumption? Those are far, far from the only shows mentioned, and the threads have, again, actual discussion, not just silly x/9 ratings. You seem really upset that I called out 3x3 threads, that apparently you must frequently post in, as the newfags and teenagers magnets mostly devoid of actual discussion they are, with frequent e-celeb meta-shitpost even. That's just how it is, sorry.
>No, not more common than Evangelion. Or Berserk. Or Ikuhara's stuff (way more common, actually). Or K-On. Or even Madoka.
And I said "more common than most things", not "more common than the handful of most popular things on Yea Forums". And I don't think Ikuhara is much more present in 3x3 than Yuasa, anyway.
>So what? No one ever claimed Nagai was the most popular thing ever.
No, my original claim was that Yuasa is more popular on Yea Forums than Nagai. Glad that you agree.
>And even that is wrong.
Nope. You would know if you were there.
>No, I haven't. Stop telling me what experiences I have made.
>In other words: You have no arguments.
Just look at this thread, at where you dragged a passing comment that wasn't even a response to your post. I couldn't keep up with this autism.
>That was a reaction to your bullshit.
That's the usual /m/anchild rant, I've seen it dozens of times in these threads, don't play dumb.
>I did not.
You did, the contrarian hate for TTGL, Eva, Anno and Gainax in general is how the board treats things liked by the mainstream, don't deny it.

Manga Ryo was better and more eager to please than this shitty k-pop autist.

you should have

Attached: -x9xH04eifyig-Ip6JirOcm3S5W7ZocD7P3KiJmQccs.jpg (640x339, 23K)

> when you've watched thousands of shows making a 3x3 [...] seems rather inane.
What's your reasoning there? When you've seen X number of anime, you can't have favourites anymore? Sorry, but that only shows that you're dumb and obviously haven't seen as many anime as you claim you have.

>You seem really upset that I called out 3x3 threads
No, I'm upset that you defend those silly AOTY shitholes that get spammed all over the board every single December and are full of those "newfags" you claim to hate so much.

>I said "more common than most things"
What are "most" things then? People haven't even heard of "most things" there are out there. Of course it's more common than those.
Even if something just gets posted once, that's more common than "most things" (that don't ever get posted). You're making non-statements.

>my original claim was that Yuasa is more popular on Yea Forums than Nagai
No, your original calim was that liking Crybaby was more common than disliking Crybaby. Unless you want to say that only Nagai-fans could ever dislike Crybaby, no one ever made any claim on Nagai's popularity on Yea Forums. Mainly because no one but you even cares about popularity.

>You would know if you were there.
I was there, retard. As was the other user who told you that there were many threads speaking out against Crybaby.
Again: Stop telling me what my experiences supposedly were.

>I couldn't keep up with this autism.
You don't even try to make an argument. All you've done in this thread was cry how unfair it is that people can state that they don't like your favourite kind of shit. Always with those "/m/anchildren" strawmen. I, for example, rarely ever post on /m/. But outright dismissing people's opinions and a whole board's opinions this broadly is intellectually dishonest like nothing else you could have done.

>the contrarian hate for TTGL, Eva, Anno and Gainax
I did not say that /m/ hates them. Reread my post please. I've said they believe Yea Forums likes nothing but them.

>Nagai makes us feel for the demons.
Where?

DEVILMAN SAGA TRANSLATIONS WHERE??? WHY DID THEY STOP?

I did notice it. Thought it just "muh edgy devil 666" stuff

>Where?
Well, I guess that depends on your level of empathy. But there's Selene/Siren/whatever, who got a lot of character focus.
And other demons got a bit of characterization as well. (I don't know about you, but I can't fap to a character that has no personality. So that's a good thing.)

>What's your reasoning there? When you've seen X number of anime, you can't have favourites anymore?
I would personally find it hard to pick favorites among so many, but it's the act of comparing and rating them with other people in a circlejerk that I find inane. If you want to discuss one of those anime you can make a thread, without having first to show off your taste, in what is often a vain attempt to define yourself and prove that you have the right taste, from newfags that don't know better.
>No, I'm upset that you defend those silly AOTY shitholes that get spammed all over the board every single December and are full of those "newfags"
Those threads aren't more full of newfags than most, especially not of 3x3 threads. There are funpost traditions in those threads that go way back.
>What are "most" things then?
Most things present in 3x3, not of all things in existence, it's not that hard. Yuasa is certainly one of the most common things there, after those that are overwhelmingly popular well beyond him, like those you mentioned. Can you concede that?
>No, your original calim was that liking Crybaby was more common than disliking Crybaby.
>And Yea Forums has always liked Yuasa more (of Nagai), anyway.
I meant the original claim of this chain of replies, which isn't strictly about Crybaby, but was about stating that on Yea Forums Yuasa is more polular than Nagai. Can you admit that, without trying to deflect on something else?
>I was there, retard
You clearly weren't. Your 3x3 obession tells me that you haven't been here for more than one year.
>You don't even try to make an argument.
I've made an argument about the kind of people who still post in these threads, and I found one guy that 100% confirmed it. Thanks.
>I did not say that /m/ hates them
Okay, you didn't. But that's still what they do, make a thread praising TTGL and see how it goes, and consider that the situation was MUCH worse a few years ago, when it was still relevant.

>I would personally find it hard to pick favorites among so many
Well, that's you. Others are less insecure about their tastes, it seems.

>but it's the act of comparing and rating them with other people in a circlejerk that I find inane
In other words: You don't like people calling your taste shit. Okay.

>Those threads aren't more full of newfags than most, especially not of 3x3 threads.
Yes, they are. They are literally full of reddit-tier "suggestions". And they are very much what you claim 3x3 threads are: Teenagers shitposting popular stuff to appear "oh so experienced" in a meaningless popularity contest. Your insistence that they are representative of what a majority of posters think is very very telling of you sharing that kind of sentiment.

>Can you concede that?
Sure. Yuasa is more common in there than things most people haven't seen.

>but was about stating that on Yea Forums Yuasa is more polular than Nagai.
No. There was never anyone claiming tha Nagai was more popular than Yuasa on Yea Forums. I don't know where you got that from? Maybe because I said that there are Nagai fans that are genuinely from Yea Forums and not /m/?

>Your 3x3 obession
It was you who brought that topic up, not me? I just said that the threads are not what you claim they are. How am I obsessed with 3x3 when you bring them up again and again?

>I've made an argument about the kind of people who still post in these threads
You have not made one argument about the quality of Crybaby. Not one argument on the topic of this thread. And now you choose to further personally attack me for pointing that out.
At least you are very transparent about being a shitposter.

>Okay, you didn't. But that's still what they do
No, it isn't. But thanks for not putting words into my mouth (in that instance at least).

And now, let's either discuss the topic at hand (Crybaby and how it compares to the manga) or drop this shit altogether. I'm getting tired of you lashing out against some imaginary villains.

It is kind of shit and boring

It's completely different from crybaby

I just want to see the ending of this series.

>Well, that's you. Others are less insecure about their tastes, it seems.
>In other words: You don't like people calling your taste shit. Okay.
You're dodging the issue. What do you get from posting a 3x3 and rating others, other than stroking your ego, as indicated by the pointlessly elaborate compositions and carefully picked art of many of these 3x3? You could discuss those shows proper, but instead you post x/9 again and again in those threads, with hardly any discussion. It's a newfag circlejerk, a place where teenagers define themselves with a handful of favorite things (sometimes not just anime, there are always crossboarding 3x3) that say (according to them) who they are, how refined their taste is. Those threads could have been pruned ages ago and not much of value would have been lost.
>Yes, they are.
See above.
>Yuasa is more common in there than things most people haven't seen.
And of course you had to add a negative connotation to it. People pick Yuasa because don't know other things, not because they like him more. Bravo.
>No. There was never anyone claiming tha Nagai was more popular than Yuasa on Yea Forums.
>>And Yea Forums has always liked Yuasa more, anyway.
>No, Yea Forums hasn't.
...
>You have not made one argument about the quality of Crybaby.
That doesn't interest me anymore. Its quality is know by all true Yea Forumsnons, and has been for a long time. I just responded to that user stating the kind of people who still post here, and you dragged me into this.
>No, it isn't.
Have you made that TTGL thread yet? I haven't checked.

Guys... Why waste this much energy arguing?

>You're dodging the issue.
No, I'm not dodging the issue. You don't like 3x3 threads and you don't have to. But to generalize over all posters in there and dismiss them is just what you do with everything you don't like. /m/ for example. Or people who don't like Crybaby or Yuasa. You shy away from actually having to argue against individuals by associating them with boogeymen you can simply calim are worthless as a whole anyway. It's no surprise that you've tried the same with me, trying to categorize me as this and that and then making some weak genereal arguments against those groups. Trying to insult me as X is one thing. But going into long rants on why X is so much worse than you and then dismissively claiming that I was part of X, that's just bullshit. And, really that's the only reason you still go on about 3x3 threads, isn't it?

>See above.
No arguement. But let's drop this shit.

>And of course you had to add a negative connotation to it.
Nothing is negartive about that. You say it's more common than rare picks in 3x3 threads. And, yes, that's trivially true.
I have not said that "People pick Yuasa because don't know other things". That's just you being paranoid again. I've said that, yes, because Yuasa is better known than most other things, his stuff gets picked more regularly.

>Yea Forums has always liked Yuasa more
Your original quote was:
>are all /m/anchidren and they tend to leak on Yea Forums lot lately. And Yea Forums has always liked Yuasa more, anyway.
In other words: Yea Forums likes Yuasa more than /m/ does.
Not: Yea Forums likes Yuasa more than Nagai.
If that was the (retarded) argument you wanted to make, you've failed. Also, "being liked" is not the same as "being popular".

>That doesn't interest me anymore.
Good. Now that we've established that you'Re not interested in the topic of the thread, can you please fuck off instead of keeping this charade up? You've basically confessed that you came here to shitpost.

>Guys... Why waste this much energy arguing?
I'm just trying to get that troll to make an actual point related to this thread. I'm very ready to drop this whole shit argument, but I want hime to at least see that what he's doing is not the way to engage with people you disagree with.

I lost track who is who in this arguement kek

>...
all this rant and you haven't been able to tell me what do you get from posting in 3x3 threads as opposed to a proper thread about the anime you want to talk about, or told me why my statements are unfounded.
>It's no surprise that you've tried the same with me
Are you trying to tell me that you don't post on 3x3 threads?
>And, really that's the only reason you still go on about 3x3 threads, isn't it?
I go on about 3x3 threads because you tried to dismiss other threads for being newfags magnet, when there isn't greater newfags magnet on Yea Forums than 3x3 threads. That's just how it is.
>But to generalize over all posters in there and dismiss them is just what you do with everything you don't like.
Yeah, not like saying "those who like Crybaby are teenagers from ANN/MAL/Tumbrl".
>I've said that, yes, because Yuasa is better known than most other things
See, you're doing it again. You just can't say "Yuasa is more liked", nope, you have to say he's "better known". You just can't force yourself to concede or admit anything positive, it's amazing.
>If that was the (retarded) argument you wanted to make, you've failed. Also
Your post I was responding to was about Nagai, not /m/. I thought it was clear, if it wasn't, no big deal.
>Also, "being liked" is not the same as "being popular".
So are you claiming that Yuasa is not liked and popular more than Nagai on Yea Forums?
>can you please fuck off instead of keeping this charade up?
No.

>all this rant and you haven't been able to tell me what do you get from posting in 3x3 threads as opposed to a proper thread about the anime you want to talk about
Because this thread is not about 3x3 threads. If you want to discuss the merits of those, make a thread on /qa/ or something.

>or told me why my statements are unfounded.
Because you are just makeing ganeralized assumptions about people's intentions. Most people in 3x3 threads just want to have fun comparing thier favourites. You don't, but you still can't shut up about them.

>Are you trying to tell me that you don't post on 3x3 threads?
I have posted there before, and I have posted on /m/. Why does either of that matter? But I don't identify with any of those groups you try to box me into, shithead.

>you tried to dismiss other threads for being newfags magnet
No, you were the one who brought "newfags" into this discussion. I've said that "AOTY" threads appear to have lots of teenagers, based on the kind of things that get suggested there (one of them being Crybaby). My argument was very much "No surprise Crybaby gets named there, when all anime in there are equally teen-anime".
This is another cheap strawman of yours. You went on this whole "newfag" rant out of nowhere and tried to force your stupid "3x3 thread" stereotypes onto me, just because I dared to argue that they don'T have as much Yuasa as you claim.

>"those who like Crybaby are teenagers from ANN/MAL/Tumbrl"
Sorry, but it is very true that those sites had a very uniformely possitive echo to Crybaby, unlike Yea Forums (despite your claims).

>You just can't say "Yuasa is more liked"
Because he isn't. Show me your proof or shut up.

>So are you claiming that Yuasa is not liked and popular more than Nagai on Yea Forums?
Yes. Nagai is very well liked on Yea Forums. He has his haters, but so does Yuasa.

>can you please fuck off
>No.
Okay, troll, then I shall igore your shitposts from now on. Goodbye.

>Because this thread is not about 3x3 threads.
You made it one.
>Because you are just makeing ganeralized assumptions about people's intentions
Founded assumptions results of observation and interaction with said people.
>But I don't identify with any of those groups
Your opinion on the matter is irrelevant, facts speak louder than words.
>No, you were the one who brought "newfags" into this discussion. I've said that "AOTY" threads appear to have lots of teenagers
"Newfags" has the same connotation as "teenagers" for me in this discussion, and it must be the same for you despite your claims, since the "teen-anime" you mentioned as examples of AOTY/D threads (Madoka, KLK, VEG) are frequent in 3x3 too, together with entry level stuff picked picked by newfags/teens just starting anime.
>Sorry, but it is very true that those sites had a very uniformely possitive echo to Crybaby
That wasn't your claim, your claim was that the people who like it on/a/ are teenagers from those sites.
>unlike Yea Forums
Sorry, Yea Forums loves Crybaby.
>Because he isn't.
See, you're saying that Yuasa is on 3x3 because he's more known than other things, not because he's more liked. So why did you did you say that that wasn't the case when I called you out before?
>Yes. Nagai is very well liked on Yea Forums.
Less popular and liked than Yuasa.

I didn't even read the quarter of the argument. Saved, will check later.
So, who is right?

Me.

Who are you?

>You made it one.
You brought it up, shitposter. You kept the argument going. Stop trying to deflect.

And now post proof for any of your outrageous claims or fuck off. I'm out.

>drops all the points because he's losing
I accept your concession.

Go away, troll.

Last word.

No, but seriously. How can anyone pontificate about "teen taste", when the 3x3 thread that is up right now has gems like:
One Piece
Yu-Gi-Oh
Love Live!
Galko chan
Strike Witches
Fateshit
Symphogear
High Score Girl
Not to mention millions others that while popular here are just as shit (like Steins;Gate), as well as unironic videogame 3x3. Yikes! Please purge this shit, Hiromoot!

Yes, that was pretty much what Yuasa thought Devilman was about.
