Kotoura-san

Cross game. First and last episode.

>first episode best episode
Probably. Thinking back, episode 1 was the only one that was still somewhat true to the original and didn't fuck everything up.

Kill la kill unironically.

Sadamitsu The Destroyer

So good that VEG paid homage to it.

Elfen Lied

The last two episodes of Crybaby are the best ones though.

show was good, if you think it was bad then the vn was a trainwreck

Not if you're a Devilman fan.

I am a Devilman fan.

Some of Azumanga Daioh's best episodes are right at the end. They're all good though.

From what you've said, you sound more like a Crybaby fan.

The show itself was a ruse cruise already, but that first episode was something else

The manga's better but Crybaby was still really good I thought. Wasn't a fan of some of the changes (notably the change to how Miki's family ended up dying) but the final two episodes were great imo. The fleshed out fighting rather than how everything was just kind of skipped past in the manga was nice and I liked how they continued to use the track stuff. I don't think the first episode was any more faithful to the manga than the last couple, which is what some people seem to be using as their measurement of quality.

TTGL, you know it’s true

murder princess.

>"there are demons and they're at this rave"
>*takes drugs

Honestly one of the funniest fucking things I've seen from animu, if only the japanese did surrealist comedy more

>I don't think the first episode was any more faithful to the manga than the last couple
The longer it went on, the more stupid meaningless things Yuasa inserted. You can't look at the last few episodes without ignoring where the story went before that. And you definitely can't ignore how Ryo's character has been hollowed out.

>which is what some people seem to be using as their measurement of quality.
Well, people who like the manga want adaptations to be faithful in some way or the other. Don't you think that's understandable?
And, no, that does not mean a straightup 1-to-1 adaptation. Just some respect to the themes and characters of the original material.

Berserk

I don't even remember the name of this show.

Literally in the thread, baka.

Woops.
Now I'm the baka.

I did say that I forgot the name but you're right, I should've checked.
