anime

manga

the comedic paneling is just exquisité

Both.

Neither

I liked the anime. The jokes pacing is faster in the manga but as an anime it really felt more character focused. I'd say experience both though

>not on mangadex

The jokes landed better in the manga.

>girl i wanted to fuck in high school kept my copies of the first adv printing

>wanting ADV's terrible translation

damn

ask her to give it back, lmao

It's what we had back in the day, user.
I haven't seen her in like 12 years, nor talked to her.

Anime first. I love Osaka's voice and mannerism. Reading the manga afterwards completes the experience.

It's not like it's super rare, dude.

I'm not planning on rebuying Azumanga since they never published the revised-art versions.
I have the first tankobon of the new versions in Japanese but haven't gotten around to finding the other ones.

No it wasn't. The fan groups had Azumanga done long before ADV touched it

Maybe Im just not a fan of 4koma style humor but I don't think the manga, or at the very least the very early parts of it, hold up quite as well. I like a little room to breath and invest. It is really interesting to see how far his craft has come from those to Yotsuba though.

both

honestly both are great

Manga

Why is this a question, when we all know that the answer is Azumanga Daioh?

Yomis!
