Rukawa from Slam Dunk and Kageyama from Haikyuu shit on Sasuke
Blake Gomez
The series where nobody dies?
Aiden Wright
>10 Saigo no Saiyūki ᠁ 15 Estelle should have been the main character, now it's too late for her to save the manga
Nolan Perry
Doesnt work for a manga thats actually doing well from the push. Now dr.flop on the other hand..
Benjamin Phillips
>The Last Saiyuki >Double Taisei >Beast Children These 3 are done for, though this is too many series that have ended. They need veterans to fill souma and zumou's spots.
>Hard to believe but Kimetsu might actually outsell MHA
KnY 16 - 350k in 4 weeks MHA 23 - 550k in 4 weeks ???
Christopher Lee
Maybe another comedy/romance/ecchi manga
Nathaniel Lopez
I'm not the only one who thought estelle looked like asuka (eva) right?
Austin Foster
Backlog sales user.
Landon Ross
> nobody dies > fake hype > O MY TIME MAGIC
Jonathan Richardson
>13 Tokyo Shinobi Squad ᠁ 3 >17 Tokyo Shinobi Squad ᠁ 12.67
Should have gave that upcoming TSS Bangai-hen in Jump Giga to Saiyuuki instead
Dylan Thomas
They probably had high hopes for it since its written by a Bones animator or something. Too bad it's a boring copy of other stories done a million times before and done better.
Given that Jump's mascot has been a pirate head for its entire existence, I'm surprised they never had a hit pirate manga until 1997. It's funny that it would go on to become their biggest hit ever too.
Dylan Cox
a shame we'll never see covers like this again
Chase Martinez
No it's more like a crime, sci-fi than any standard shounen series.
Mangaka showing their faces these days is essentially asking to be KyoAni'd.
Easton Morgan
>Yaiba is more popular than OP I guess the Oda cult can finally die.
Easton Cox
I think its very likely the author will do good in the future, the art looks nice and he does have cool ideas for the story. Problem is that theres just too much talking.
I wish we had more sports manga in Jump than just Haikyu
Hunter Ortiz
What's a sport they could do that would be new? Hockey? Maybe Sasuke?
Daniel Diaz
Then say yearly sales you stupid ass nigger
Nicholas Green
Well why didn't you support Robo and now Beasts?
Matthew Perez
They just haven't been selling that well compared to Battle Shonen or even harems. Probably because kids prefer videogames to sports nowadays. Maybe they could try some e-sports manga?
Jaxon Perry
We've had plenty, they're all shit, Beast Children is getting axed for sure
I would read a manga that focuses on obstacle course loke ninja warrior
Cooper Rivera
Nope, the series just sucks, the sports argument doesnt work because Haikyuu was a 1m seller when it had its anime airing, they just need to make a good spokon that can sell 100k
Jaxson King
Read giant killing if you want a good soccer manga
I don't even hate Kishi. It is just that I expected him to write something better than Naruto, but I got a MC who I find even less likeable than Deku, some pretty uninteresting support characters, and a power system that is super complex but excuses power levels that are beyond those of very late Ninja War Naruto, when you usually want the story to start grounded so you can somewhat selfinsert and understand what is happening.
And it will be really hard to get the series to sell in the West when the MC gains his powers from ritual suicide, so I feel like Sueisha is being smart by stopping the push on S8.
Luke Ward
I really do hope that the author gets another chance at something down the line for those reasons. Hopefully, he follows in the footsteps of Horikoshi and finally gets his big hit after repeated attempts soon.
Im really just angry about the cat to be honest because each time vanessa is there we have 0 stakes (I didnt like the time magic one but it makes sense at least)
Gavin Perry
VILLIANS aka clones don't count. Now, tell me that Lumiere died too.
Elijah Gutierrez
Sucks kinda want to hear at least one interesting thing about the series I don't read.
Ryder Roberts
Your best bet is to drop by random threads and see for yourself. 90% of the time, these threads are just shitpost central.
Levi Watson
>8 Chainsaw Man ᠁ 5.67 Holy based
Matthew Carter
to understand the time magic you would need to >have keen insight >be fluent or familiar with another language , assuming your base language is english >knowledge of ancient runes and markings and their meanings you posses all this, since the time magic makes sense to you, and yet something that was flat out stated in pic related makes no sense?
It will end soon,it's really boring abd the MC is gay or something
Caleb Miller
again see a separate villain who died. did he come back? >I wonder why did you bring HxH when the main subject is BC. bc is being shit on unironically for >nobody dying >the main cast specifically i'm pointing out the double standard when i refer to hxh.
it first turned from shojo school manga into ecchi fanservice romcom manga then into supernatural horror manga and now it reads like a battle manga about using hair tying to exorcise demon bugs and for some reason nuramago takes place in the same setting now shiibashi is frantically throwing shit at the wall and lucky for him the newcomers are doing worse so he will survive for at least 2 more rounds
Also Nao, one of the 3 main characters in the beginning feels completely useless now that Kiito no longer needs her help to tie Yui's hair, she just pops up randomly to get a line in every now and then And Black Yui has completely changed personality from spunky tomboy into a cold, kind of sinister anti-hero while White Yui is a complete damsel-in-distress The only character development that "works" is Kiito whose gone from completely unlikable douchebag to a generic nice hero MC who wants to protect everyone, he's bland but not terrible anymore
I feel like Tokyo Shinobi Squad is the first one I read in a while that didn't immediately shit itself. It's basically just chugging along at its own pace despite the pressure of being in Jump.
Cooper Cox
Im still sad about nao, she was imo the best character of the trio but now she is irrelevant as fuck
Nolan Martinez
I’m pretty sure it was advertised as a battle romcom back at the start. Hence why we’ve had people showing up to fight black Yui since the beginning. Going hard in on the supernatural stuff has been the main change, not there being battles.
Austin Murphy
Now I'm reminded of that one chapter with the lesbians, shit was awful
Noah Barnes
So is this shit like Medaka box.
Jeremiah Rogers
> Ultramarine Battle(One-Shot by Furutu Seiran) What that about?
he'll hide his notes for the final arc somewhere and make everyone search for it
Brayden Barnes
Are there still people who care about this dead series?
Chase Gomez
It looks like an electrocardiogram readout.
Owen Walker
The goat shonen bible will never die, user.
Benjamin Perry
Togashi is eating the pussy of Sailor Moon and playing Smash, you're never getting more.
Andrew Lewis
Ring ni Kakero is the Shounen Bible though.
Nathaniel Gonzalez
>Oda recreates the speech of Gol d Roger execution into a video will for the whole world to see >it's somewhere in the world that only his trusted friends/co-workers know >Yea Forumsnons set off to find Oda's One Piece
Owen Morgan
But that ain't goat.
Jackson Robinson
I was shipping her with MC since I enjoy side character romances
Samuel Morales
>/u/ >in WSJ Really?
Brayden Hughes
The fighting at the start was treated as jokes, nobody was presented as an actual challenge to Yui in Black, now things are serious
William Carter
the male lead was annoying as fuck, so /u/ is preferable
Luis Ross
It's the battle shounen bible though.
Zachary Stewart
Cover fucking when
Hudson Diaz
imagine trying to get Togashi to come to work wearing a tuxedo these days...
Easton Flores
>Inagaki >Bad writer How can someone be so retarded?
Parker Martinez
Is Beast Children doing that badly? I need to catch up but I was looking forward to it.
Although it kind of falls into that cliche that some sports manga have where it's "I am short but also hard work and guts! And I have a secret talent!"
I'm still irritated (mad even) over that interview with Samurai 8's editor endlessly sucking the dick of Kishimoto as if he's the only person who can really push a sci-fi series forward.
Eli Thompson
>graphs without legends
Grayson Rivera
>Despite fights with stakes still happening with Vanessa involvement even after the Fate cat reveal, like the Dorothy one, somehow this shit is still a problem for shitposters.
William Ross
It's not that hard to figure out.
Jeremiah Butler
I feel like he wanted to set it up slowly and then do a big reveal. Then his editor said him "We will axe you soon you fag" and he started rushing.
Christopher Perez
Not in Jump anymore, but I'm glad that overrated unfunny shit with vocal circlejerking fanbase known as Gintama has finally ended.
Nathaniel Hill
soon, One Piece spoilers are coming out right now
Nathaniel Sanders
>Same average rank >OP isn't pure ranked because it was absent Eat shit.
Hunter Allen
>I don't know, but I will tell others I'm a master and it's easy embarassing.
Liam Howard
Why would someone ever read spoilers instead of just waiting to read the chapter and experiencing what happens for the first time themself?
Blake Sanders
Then go away maybe?
Ayden Brown
I'm asking out of curiosity, I don't read stuff from Jump.
Benjamin Ross
Then go away maybe?
Owen White
user, but Vetto was revived, he just have a new younger body now. I guess that particular body of his died, yeah.
Levi Taylor
Why does Bc has too few fanarts? Because the character design is boring and the characters aren't appealing?
Isaiah Gutierrez
The last two or three have been decent enough to make me not drop it yet
I'm wonderong if people is still readibg Shitty MC and Slutty Ghost Yuuna in the Hot Springs.I've read a little and it was completely bullshit. They're all sluts, and that ninja is the worse. The MC is like Rito but with some powers.
Oliver Gray
Was the gintama movie announcement from the jump issue?
Juan Rogers
IT'S DEAD JIM
Jackson Young
Yonagi x jujutsu mc cute an canon Kinda interesting that they always are paired together like this several times
Joshua Cooper
Yami is the only one that got hentai doujinshi though.
I do and it's great. It's like Kekkaishi, a solid series that just quietly does its thing.
William Bell
F-Ken when
Liam Morales
Grimmjow isn't even that great, it's just that his design was memorable and Suwabe voiced him
Asher Parker
They cut away from the reforged Promise in Neverland, damn it. Hinomaru had quick but great ending, epilogue when? Act-age is now chuuni-age. Hope we get focus on the other team. Dr. Stone chapters with Senku's dad in them are the best. What a great old man. World Trigger gets two chapters tomorrow but I'm not expecting the last match to start until next month. I'm rooting for T2 to at least make B-Rank 2. Kinnikuman's long awaited tag match is going to start any week now, I can feel it. Shokugeki no Nakiri made the El Hermano meme real. What the fuck.
There, I hope I covered at least two series you don't read.
We pretty much always were around this average. There's much more chapters that ranked 7 or lower than 6 or higher.
Angel Scott
>Dr. Stone chapters with Senku's dad in them are the best Agree I said before, while inasaki can't write serious chapter , that flashback was an exception.
>World Trigger gets two chapters tomorrow but I'm not expecting the last match to start until next month. I'm rooting for T2 to at least make B-Rank 2. I expected it be the next week, so you gave me a good news. It would be kinda sad if Ashihara enter in World trigger's "dark galaxy" before Hunter x Hunter enter in the dark continent
Thomas Sanchez
>Saiyuki on the same level as Chainsaw
LIVE
Sebastian Wright
I have a hard taking treating Dr. Stone seriously so I treat it like the gag manga version of Bill Nye the Science Guy, but every once in a while Inagaki really nails it. Those spreads with Suika's first pair of glasses and Chrome seeing the sun rise for the first time are my favorites. WT's next chapter dates are always on the website. If the official Twitter is anything to go by it's gonna be an Osamu comes up with a diabolical scheme episode.
Why would someone take this pic and not the whole cover?
Jeremiah Mitchell
Leakers are always doing this shit for some reason. They think it's ebin or something.
Isaac Thomas
Not trying to meme because I don't read it, why is MHA so low?
Dominic Martinez
something something broken hand
Joshua Mitchell
It's like this for sometimes already. The formula is >OP on the top, followed by Kimetsu, Neverland, Stone >MHA in the middle >axe fodders at the bottom >other series filling in the gaps
Caleb Young
Leakers are gonna be niggers, it's a fact of life.
Lucas Lewis
Kiito is based, using his wealth to actually combat the threats is like batman. Black yui is still a tomboy and White yui was always a damsel.
Luke Sanchez
It's like i'm reading Bleach again!
Benjamin Sanders
>7 Boku no Hero Academia ᠁ 232 UMPH This is how souma and zumou's demise started. Suddenly they were constantly in the middle then periodically at the bottom and middle then finally axed. 2 more years.
Wyatt Stewart
Yeah there is just no rivals manage to be as shit as him.
Bentley Young
>Osamu comes up with a diabolical scheme episode. So best kind of chapter confirmed.
Nathaniel Powell
>His problem is that, like Tamura,he isn't as good writing series moment than comedy Bullshit. Most serious moments in Dr Stone are good and there are plenty of them. >Suika being able to see the flower field >Chrome being a bro and was recognized by Senku as a fellow scientist >The connection between Senku and his dad >WHY man
Tyler Thompson
>9月号は182話&183話合計32P掲載です!修はどんな対策を・・・!? Only 32 pages total but it's still two chapters.
I see Gash being praised a lot and I gotta ask, when does it pick up? I started this recently and it looks like a generic mass produced familiar shonen (the type that mostly exists to sell toys),
Jaxon Ross
Stone thrown to the back hahaha
Bentley Taylor
My wife Emma looking great as always.
Hudson White
>sells less than Bokuben, Act age and Jujutsu >bigger
Nice Push.
Blake Gonzalez
Boku no garbage need axed
Camden Johnson
Her hat is unironically the coolest one.
Aaron Bell
Top series are the ones getting pushed by Jump, TOC aren't real rankings
Landon Roberts
Reminder Manga sales not important
Connor Cook
Denji is the only one wearing a red hat with luffy
Tyler Perez
Shit manga Shit anime Cann't beat naruto sales Axed soon
Lucas Powell
And Pochita's skull and bones too. Nice detail.
James Jones
Millennium Demon arc
Nathaniel Ortiz
>Already as big as Kimetsu's with even more space
Easton Rodriguez
Reminder that SPY X Family just outsold one of Jump's "flagship" title
Tyler Torres
Luffy is the captain of the ship and Denji is the captain of retards.
Even if Nakano denies it, Fujimoto finds a way to stand out
Jayden Perry
>asta in front of tanjiro wew
Daniel Hernandez
It'll replace BC in the near future.
Jack Martin
Tanjirou looks bigger than Asta tho
Jack Sanchez
It's ending before chapter 250, I hope it doesn't' add some new chinese demons or some shit to extent it. Have michael jackson be the main and final villain.
I genuinely don't understand what the fuck JJK and AA are even supposed to do to deserve the "big" cover treatment. Stone became big with sub 100k sales even before the anime announcement.
Samuel Baker
Based potato pirate
Benjamin Stewart
The Push they need new big hit
Aiden Price
> e-sport manga only an idiot or a HxHfag would consider it as a good idea.
Ryan Evans
It will get axed on Sept. 16, the monday before the WRC starts.
Nicholas Rogers
E-sport with fujobait i will read that
Brayden Sanders
Even the editors confirmed it's not a perfect representation but some people still think it is. For context in the previous page the question is literally about if the ToC is ordered by popularity.
They should just make Inazuma Eleven/ Shaolin soccer style soccer manga, dont try to make logical explaination why players can do this and that
Adrian Lewis
You don't know the full story, like merch sales. Or the actual votes that Jump receives (since ToC is decided by the editors at the end of the day). And there's a possibility they do some more advanced market research to see what has the best chance of becoming a hit.
Jacob Gutierrez
I can't believe we only have one round of e-sports left, it feels like it started forever ago which it did.
Owen Murphy
I always get 2nd hand embarassment when they put 'cool' characters in a e sport setting, manhwa has a shit ton of them
Joshua Sanders
>started in 2015 >been trying to get on a boat for over 4 years It's like whenever a manga goes on hiatus there's either an author health condition or a boat involved.
Josiah Reyes
At least we're finally getting on one by next year. Not complaining as long as Ashihara can pump out quality chapters, I'm hyped for this match after Hyuse's exhibition last one.
Julian Brown
>we're finally getting on one by next year Here's hoping Ashihara can go an entire year without another part of his body breaking.
How much pushing does Dr. Stone need to get into this list ?
Leo King
Personally I can't wait for the B-Rank Wars to end. Not really a fan of endless battles. Want to see the Neighborhood.
Kayden Nelson
someone has to buy like 10k+ I guess.
Gabriel Nelson
8 rounds of B-Rank Wars is a solid number and I'm fine with it. It was a great way to reasonably power up the cast while allowing Ashihara to try all those ideas he had for the sports manga he initially wanted to write. Had it been more then 10 then I'd probably be complaining about it too.
The twist is that she's secretly a tentacle monster, right?
Luis White
I bet it's a red herring
Cameron Nelson
It looks pretty clear to me that the cover design in this instance was made to show more emphasis on all manga so some needed to be smaller. Usually these covers have small characters in the back that are just heads but here you get full bodies and most of the minor characters are barely overlapped at all in space. Knowing how retarded the editors are, they may have even done this JUST so they could have an excuse to justify Samurai 8 getting the full character on the cover.
Xavier Rivera
It obviously Jojofag
Leo Nguyen
I started reading AssClass and I don't see any semen demons like this one.
is jujutsu kaisen mainstream? ive never seen it on Yea Forums before outside of these threads so presumed no one actually read it but wsj just wanted to push it into popularity
Ryan Butler
It's really popular in nipland, not really in the west.
Luis Sullivan
>no one actually read it but wsj just wanted to push it into popularity Fucking what? JJK vol 6 already sold 98500 copies in its first 4 DAYS, more than what Dr.Stone can manage in 4 weeks even with anime out. It's already popular without much pushing. It's the same situation with Kimetsu before when its domestic popularity doesn't translate to gaijin audience,
Fair enuff. I'd put Yaiba and Inu Yasha one step lower. And I didn't read Blues.
Lucas Nguyen
Does Jujutsu Kaisen get more coherent? I read like 30 chapters in and I'm having fun but it feels like even the fights are characters establishing new terminology as is needed without any grounded or consistent logic. The "shape of your soul"? "Technique"? "Territorial expansion"? It feels like all of this is just for the sake of making everything seem cool rather than serving a consistent powerset.
Ryder Thomas
Was almost a great list until you put Haikyuu on the bottom. That top row is absolutely based though.
>no World Trigger Otherwise decent list, though I think you're being way too hard on Toriko and Haikyuu.
Ryder Campbell
No, he isn't.
David Nelson
No came from the final volume released today in Japan
Connor Gray
Why is Inuyasha so high? Inuyasha is genuinely awful and only good for nostalgic feelings.
Lincoln Bailey
>Samurai 8 under Sayuki holy kek
Eli Wood
He puts old shit higher cause nostalgia.
Jack Wilson
Kimetsu looked so 80's in its early days, kind of what drew me in
Justin Gray
Yami x vengeance doujin when?
Jason Murphy
nice. im enjoying it too.
Ian Morales
goddamn he looks good as fuck
Ethan Clark
I've only ever seen/read one piece, Naruto, Dragon Ball, FMA, and bleach out of all of those. I don't know how One Piece could be considered "top" while things like Naruto are mediocre. I enjoyed Naruto more than One Piece and FMA more than both. Guess everythings subjective.
Liam Smith
uh oh someone's not happy that JJK is outselling their favorite manga...literally who amirite
Lincoln Ortiz
Kimetsu no Yaiba The Promised Neverland Haikyu!! We Never Learn Yuuna and the Haunted Hot Springs
All ending in a year or 2, long running series like naruto bleach are rare not the norm.
Carson Morris
Well a sport manga like Haikyu is not the norm either. We Never Learn and Yuuna are typical successful romcom harems and will exist with as many chapters as it typical is for its kind. They never go into big numbers.
Luke Smith
Is even Haikyuu close to ending? Is going to become the next OP at this point.
Jordan Edwards
It’s not going past the 1st year just like slam dunk, eye shield 21, knb
Hudson Clark
>slam dunk Slam dunk is kinda a special case. Inoue got into "a fight" with the editorial team. Inoue wanted Shohoku to lose but editorial team wanted them to win. So Inoue just fuck you here I let them win and end the serie.
Christopher Howard
Your taste is just bad, that's all.
Hunter Bell
>3 Dr. Stone ᠁ 109 Surely this means "FLOP"-spammers will stop shitting up the Dr. Stone threads, right? fuck
Leo Foster
How does editor manipulated ToC positions make it any less of a sales flop?
Lincoln Flores
Toc rank more important
Levi Hall
They still receive love,it’s just not shown on the covers. Act age got paired up with some play boy magazine while jujutsu has 3 animated pvs and a crowdfunding campaign
Jacob Sanders
> not going to past the first year Haikyuu can go anywhere honestly, they already develop 2/3 of the 2nd year fodder with one of them groomed to be the future captain. I can still see them doing a 2nd year
Leo Hall
Because it got a boost for merely existing as a manga. All 3 of your examples had mediocre sales to begin with, and still does after months and months worth of volume
Andrew Rogers
It just need an anime to spread more awareness. The west doesnt even know other jump titles exist other than OP, BC and Heroaca
Anthony Collins
fujos are angry because their bad boy Barkugo hasn't showed in monthe also Hori keeps cuntblocking them on Dabi
Hunter White
I don't want it to become popular in the west, nothing good ever comes from it.
Chase Gray
This issue confirmed Neverland will enter its climax
Jeremiah Morris
Does not change the fact that it's a flop. How long could dr.stone maintain its position in toc if editorial team decided not to push it anyway further?
Blake Ross
Remember when Jump held Toriko as if it was part of the Big 3, all while Assasination Classroom was doing some BS One piece tier sales. I remember.
Jason Allen
Damn, that's a lot of flops.
Tyler Phillips
It's over, jump is finished. They're going to need atleast 5 hit series by next year.
I really liked this chapter. Saiyuki has been tugging my heart strings since the start when it matters, and the setting is definitely something worth expanding on. And ;humanity' is one of my favorite themes.
