Listings for the Special CDs that will come with each BD pretty much shows that there will be around 11 BD Volumes for Season 1 (volumes with Drama CDs at least, there could be 13 BDs with 2 missing any Specials), with the 11th Special CD being released with an expected date of April, 26th 2020. MHA has a big universe where original stories can just pull new heroes and new heroes out of thin air if executives want movies and specials; Kimetsu is kinda condensed, making an original movie would require the writers to write a threat that makes sense in order not to contradict the canon series too much, sure they could just go crazy by deeming it as non-canon, but that shouldn't be an excuse to potentially write nonsense.

Anyway ufotable could make a movie the Lower Moon One Train arc, either make it a 3 hour movie not to condense too much, or make it two movies.

15 chapters is still too much for a movie that would likely be 90 to 120 minutes at most, several moments would be rushed as hell. I would only accept the Train Arc as movie if it is two movies.

No, it would not, that would be rushed beyond belief, three chapters in a half squashed into every 30 minutes would be a mess, the character effect moments would lack any weight, the fights would be ridiculously short.

It cannot work, I've watched my share of animated adaptations that tried to condense as much as possible in a short run, stuff like Zetman and 7 Seeds, and that is infinitely worse than any adaptation that prefers to go at a stable to slower pace.

The tomioka story in the CD drama its about him dealing with some demon whereabouts and he's helping a boy (Haruo?) to find someone, maybe his brother, friend? At least we can hear for the first time him saying Breath of the water (I heard he used three forms).
This is kinda similar to his gaiden.

Yeah he is. It's one of the few MCs where you don't get annoyed by the fact that pretty much everyone in the cast either likes him or will at some point, he comes off a a genuine nice guy that has understandable motivations unlike other shounen protagonists and their megalomaniacal dreams.

He's also pretty level headed when compared to your average shounen protagonist and it's entertaining to see him roast people/demons out of nowhere because people usually think he's just a kind idiot with light autism.

As someone who’s been aware on KnY but avoided picking it up, is the anime adaption pretty good? Might end up reading it after it ends, but I doubt I’d read it then watch.

They fucked up a couple of episodes with atrocious pacing (reusing scene, drawn out sequence, flashback recap) but pretty good otherwise.

It is a good adaptation, they were lucky about Aniplex and ufotable offering themselves to do it, Jump series normally gets picked by the usual suspects like Toei, Studio Pierrot or Sunrise. People like will complain about if things aren't moving at the speed of light, only episode 13 felt off.

It is. Ufotable has done a good job with the anime with exception of episode 13, which isn't that big of problem for new viewers as you aren't watching the week it aired. We've just started the arc where the manga really hits its stride, and quickly became one of my favorites.

God, I will never forget how Tanjirou fuckin called Hantengu out and went absolute madlad on his ass. I like how the series has redeemable demons like Akaza but it also has absolute sociopaths like Douma. It really gives a feeling that both good and terrible people can become demons. I wonder though if UM1 Koku will get a redeemable backstory or a despicable one. I also would have liked to see Pot demons backstory, kinda sad we never got it.
