Have you read Fujiyama-san and Chion-san by the same author? They're both great though IMO Fujiyama-san's the better of the two. It's my all time favorite fluff SoL romance.

I love Ojiro and her love of girls with big brows and big butts. I would be disappointed if she herself wasn't cute with big brows and a big butt.

It seems to me like the MCs are all the same 'actress', or something. being manga, the body shape and type is more flexible, but they're basically the same face with a new twist.
somehow different from the usual sameface kind of thing because of how it's always just the one character in every series like that, the term actress seems appropriate.
maybe it is her, who knows. i doubt it.

It's probably her self insert. You see it every once in a while where an author creates the same character in similar situations despite showing that they can draw different designs. It's cute.

I think she largely just has a type she likes to use largely. None of her other characters really look similar with the exception of the nurse in chapter 2 who is almost literally Kurashiki from Fujiyama-san in both design and personality.

Was it ever said where Fujiyama-san takes place? Since going by Notojima being visible means Insomnia takes place in Nanao in Ishikawa Prefecture I think.
