Act 2 is over 26 chapters, and we're not even close to it being over yet. And depending on how this story goes (Zoro getting his sword back, Momo telling the story of Oden's past, or Law somehow saving his friends from Hawkins and Drake), Act 2 could end up lasting even longer. Don't assume Act 2 is over with Udon taken over. That was just one piece to a much larger puzzle, not the puzzle in of itself. Act 2 introduced numerous subplots that haven't been resolved yet.

Also, keep in mind that Wano is a play, so there will be around 5 acts. We're already 42 chapters into the arc with Act 2 not even being close to over. Also, note that this arc won't be tremendously long either (like over 130 chapters), due to how the majority of the groundwork was established in past arcs and the relative small scale of the area we're working with (Wano being a slightly larger island instead of an actual country). This is just the execution of the story ideas that were conveyed previously.

Haki as a whole was an addition hundreds of chapters down the line to have a consistent means of harming logia and other invincible like DF users. That first chapter was generic as hell pressure exertion before Oda came up with the system of haki. The only haki they named was conqueror's haki right before or around marineford battle and then Oda introduced the other forms of haki

Haki should've been what Seimei Kikan basically is, just different and varied applications of "life force". Don't box it down to "punching harder" and "seeing further", but try to make it fun and varied, with different Haki users implementing them in their own ways.

Furthermore, I believe Haki should've been something that non-fruit users rely on to spar equally against fruit users. Give the extremely basic Haki, being able to predict actions and Logia piercing to everyone, but have Haki Masters only have the further tiers available. Luffy shouldn't be able to learn Future Sight or Ryou in a single day, it should be something that takes years of training and meditation, and he should be focusing on improving his fruit instead.
