Meanwhile the west think it's good.

How did they lose so much interest?
Was this season not that good?

Even Quintshit outsold it by a factor of 5
oh no no no no

S2 sold like 4-5k, so not really surprising that S3 sells lower

S1 come out on 2013 sell over 50,000 BD
and S2 come out on 2016 sell 8,000 BD
almost 3 YEAR!

The Japs hate everything past S1. It's no wonder the studio dropped it.

>King of Prism selling more than AoT

They're taking too long to make S2/S3, people quickly lose interest in it

Why the fuck does Idolshit always sell so much?

That's what happens plot didn't pick the first girl as the main girl.

>figure skating anime featuring faggots sells more than “AOTD”

Man I almost forgot about YoI. Probably because I didn't watch it but damn those were some crazy sales numbers

Let's all laugh at shingeki faggots

First season was legendary. 2 and 3 were mostly soulless.

This.

I remember when you would expect multiple TV shows to sell over 10k every season. Why did Japs stop buying BDs?

Streaming

How did this series die so hard?

Streaming kills physical media.

Remember those threads that were nothing but evanescence lyrics? It's the initial trauma, it'll pass.

Did streaming not exist in Japland before 2015?

I think you've got that reversed user

Peanut brain motherfuckers

>The Japs hate everything past S1
Clearly why the manga is a top seller

>Manga still sells insane numbers
>Anime airs on NHK
>Streaming numbers still high

Why is this board so fucking dumb?

The manga is not the fucking anime.

>physical media of other shows are still selling well
Come up with a better excuse.

Kemurikusa second place! NOICE!

>anons still using BD sales as a sign of success in 2019
>still unaware of the numerous revenue streams that anime has nowadays
>foreign licencing, streaming rights, merch etc

>Anime airs on NHK
So did Rinne a show nobody remembers and most other forgotten shit.

Denying reality is for peanut brains.

UGH

MY FAVORITE ANIME SOLD 30 COPIES, BUT HERE'S HOW WE'RE STILL WINNING

What is the difference between 1 and 17?

What was the peak of Attack on Titan?

No.1 Love live BD Limited Edition
No.2 Standard Edition

S1 was okey. It just went downhill from there.

S3

S1

Oh no no no. What happened to our show Erenbros? I thought it was the best this decade?

S4

Utgard. Mysteries all over the place and I learned a lot about fish.

ITT: autistic shitposter that don't understand how big anime like SnK make money.

lmaoing at your life

>how big anime like SnK make money
Apparently not at all other than imaginary streaming revenue.

>How did they lose so much interest?
>Was this season not that good?

Too much time passed in between seasons.

If it had the same pace as say My Hero Academia, Attack on Titan would have still be remembered among the public.

I don't know if it's because they had to wait for more material since it is a monthly title or Kodansha blew it in keeping up momentum

Seriously asking here. Why is the sales so shit?

>don't understand how big anime like SnK make money.

Well, do you?

Wit having many projects to work with

It's okey user. The 1st stage of grief is denial.

>muh imaginary streaming money
Post source of streaming income for SnK or shut the fuck up.

Attached: 1533521965436.jpg (244x221, 30K)

Popular series stop being profitable after a while, main reason GoT went to the shit was because it stopped being profitable for D&D so they just rushed and end the series in 6 episodes even when HBO asked them to do 20 or more.

Definitely because they're waiting for more material
They're milking the series hard after S1 airs with a bunch of irrelevant shit just to keep the interest.

Retarded nips never release hot series continuation while it's popular.

>definitely because they were waiting for more material

By the time S1 was finished, we already had material to end S3 part 1.

D&D rushed it because they had no material, didn't know how to write, and Disney wanted to hire them.

love live stronk

S3 part 1

S4 part 2
Also pic related

No wonder its ending soon

Even Index 3 did better after eight fucking years and zero effort.

how is anime even sustainable at this point when everything sells like shit

Attached: 1483477663498.png (500x500, 178K)

why do Nips have such shit taste??? Are they really that autistic??

Love live is carrying the industry

what are manga sales
what are merch sales
what is streaming revenue
Nobody buys BDs because they are expensive shit, only meme series like Kemurikusa and fujoshit sell well. Meanwhile Shingeki is big enough to have a fucking ride at the Universal theme park in Japan, stop bringing your dumb sales war that only matter for otakushit to an anime that doesn't depend on them like SNK.

Attached: 0jpg.jpg (1300x731, 85K)

S1 had the best scenes and is the most memorable overall thank to its length, S2 and S2 fizzled out hard with the single cour format.

>sour grapes
If AoT was selling BDs, you'd be singing a different tune.

Attached: ao2wD6n_700b.jpg (700x483, 39K)

I'm just telling the truth, anybody who isn't a retarded salesfag knows that BD sales don't really matter that much nowadays

Cope harder. Other shows can still sell BDs + earn from streaming, merch, etc.

>merch sales
>streaming revenue
Where's your source?

Shut the fuck up baby moe noob.

First seasons sales were inflated by fujoshits who move on to newer series when second season started. Same situation like Osomatsu san
And yet it received final season announcement. BD sales are irrelevant, deal with it saleshitter

Because of bundled shit like codes for smartphone shit or event/lottery tickets

It had 3 2cour season

Only western idolshitters watch shows like LL and there is vastly less of them than normalfags who watch for example Snk.

>nothing will ever surpass Gundam SEED Destiny

Attached: 1368367278842.jpg (249x245, 12K)

>Where's your source?
the fact that a new season got announced without any care for the BD sales

Grim Reminder 2

>This thread: Snkfags desperately defending their series
I had a good laugh reading your comments guys.

Attached: laughingatyou.png (1726x970, 1.1M)

>each season has multiple shows selling well above 10k first week except for exceptionally weak seasons (usually spring or summer)

>now only like 2 shows make it above 10k at best and even gigantic meme hits like Zombieland only get 20k at best

Attached: Screenshot_2019-07-31 2018 Fall Seasonal Vol 1 Rankings.png (1114x954, 65K)

And that's why WIT have dropped the series, no longer profitable

Sales don't matter when the story is going to finish in about a year. It's not like this is Jump where manga have to run forever and ever. The anime selling BDs or not affects nothing.

Not the same studio.

Guess what.
It took them too long to make S2 and "normalfag" anime consumers live on hypes and trends.

By the time SnK 2 got made the hypetrain was already gone and everyone moved on to a different thing. Why do you think did they shit out One Punch Man S2 so fast? OPM was a success and they knew that they needed to rush out a shitty sequel as fast as possible.

Also one of the big reasons why split-cour seasons get more and more popular. Annoucing sequels right away keeps people into the thing.

There was like 4 years between s1 and s2 though. was there a big dip in sales then too?

>Why do you think did they shit out One Punch Man S2 so fast?
>Came out four years after S1

It's weird. The anime BDs don't sell well anymore but the manga is still pulling insane numbers, with only One Piece still outselling it because of course it does. It just doesn't make sense.

Subtle bait considering OPM S2 also took 4 years to come out after OPM S1.

Lol SNK is selling less than Bleach. Bleach remains supreme.

Attached: bleach_toast_with_aizen.jpg (1024x610, 166K)

This season was good. Probably the best. But it took too long to make the new seasons, so people who were interested in the series already read the manga.

Isayama should have stuck to his original plan and ended it sooner.

Not really. Now most series end up on streaming services, so only shows with bundled shit like gacha tickets still sell. Expect Granblue to sell 50k because the BDs will come bundled with a ticket for some rare SS units.

Bleach after Arrancar saga sold worse than that, I believe.
