Very violent show. Lots of gore and action.
Pure unironic trash that takes itself too seriously to be called shlock
It's like Starship troopers but not funny at all.
THE ONLY GOOD BUG IS A DEAD BUG
An annoying MC, at least for the first couple episodes. That's all I watched.
mostly good show, super 90s, ending was god damn retarded "BECOME ONE WITH NATURE" bullshit tho.
This, sadly. The idea has some potential and the scenes can be fun but the characters, esp the pov dude, are insufferable. The plot is a mix of conflicting themes and ideas- eco green anti-humanity, mecha superiority and sci fi and F tier romance/love/feefees. Three different, possibly good anime, all jammed into one incredibly shitty one.
Space orgy.

8/10
Used to be on Adult Swim. A lot of violence and vagina bugs.
Peak psychedelic ending common to many 90's mecha shows.
Nigger.
Final episode has god tier animation.
outro has boobies
Blue Gender is just really boring.
Classic anime is way better.
>dude, humans are the real monsters destroying earth
Actually, unironically yes. Since the ultimate moral is that humans are evil and destroying the earth and thus deserve to die unless they live 'in harmony' with it I.E. living like a savage.
A lot of bugs.
A guy jacking off in a space station.
How could anyone in a Blue Gender thread not mention space orgy?
Complete garbage, do not watch.
Listen to these anons.
The first 10 episodes are boring as shit and the protagonist is a total homo, and then the story starts and he turns out to be "the chosen one" basically. It's a decent mech/monster anime after that but you're not going to see anything new. The ending is pretty typical of the "eco-disaster" genre.
I personally like it. The mecha action in it is nice, and it does touch on human nature a bit. It is product of its time and hasn't aged too well though.
I liked the first 10 episodes more than the latter half, though. They had nice, bleak atmosphere.
>They had nice, bleak atmosphere.
Probably what I liked most about BG, the 2nd half felt like it could have did better though.
