Not the same user but I just finished the arcueid route and just in that route he can go from impulse psycho that kills a random by stalking them (mostly due to his demon hunter inheritage or whatever) a coward that freezes in the face of danger, a brave guy that goes in the face of danger, a rapist, a caring guy and more and this is in the same route without counting the what if scenarios that lead to bad ends, I can only imagine how crazy it can get in the other scenarios.

Also arc could also defend herself after the act and just didnt kill shiki in that moment because she was too surprised of how perfect was his kill

No, virtually everyone hated the redesign when it was first shown off like a decade ago.

This. The closest we get to 'actual' Shiki is in the prologue and epilogue of Tsukihime when all the bullshit's died down and he's just chilling with Aoko talking about life and whatnot. Also Kagetsu Tohya since the situation is more mellow and we can see him more in his day to day life, he's a pretty chill, goofy, sweet, and fun dude to be around. Can be a bit of an ass from time to time but it for me it just adds to how human he is compared to the the other Type Moon protags despite possibly being the most 'broken' as a person out of them next to Shirou.

This is honestly the most OOC moment for Shiki to me considering how he reacts to rape in the other routes. Nearly vomiting his guts out when he dreams of SHIKI raping kohaku, wanting to kill himself and would have if he didn't talk to CIel when Roa makes him assault/and or mape the raid, and his general reaction to the incident with Arc.

I get it's supposed to show how desperate he is but it's really pretty shitty. It's like how Shirou was all like 'well i'm glad Ayako got assaulted and left in an alleyway, it'll teach her to be more like a girl' when every other time someone he cares about gets hurt he's ready snap necks.

Technically it's Roa and SHIKI's influence fucking with his bloodline's instincts. As the child Shiki and KT Nanaya points out, his bloodline persona in actuality normally wouldn't act anything like that.
Roa in the Ciel route fucks with him making him think that the sadistic impulse is something that Shiki just has naturally to catch him off-guard but admits all that fucked up aspects Shiki thinks comes from his blood are just effects of being connected to Roa's subconscious.
