Yes they have most of that covered but the staff are the real backbone of any studio. This is on top of the remaining survivors having the desire to come back and having to retrain a staff. If the survivors don't want to come back then no one can blame them but everyone is expecting them to rebound from this so there's a lot of pressure. It might takes years for them to comeback and start producing anime but I wouldn't be surprised if Kyoani becomes something entirely different than what it was before.

I once had my hard drive brick, and spent like $700 for a specialist to save the contents (waifu stuff, game projects, etc, hard work and personal stuff which is irreplaceable), and I got it all back, roughly like 200 files were gone or damaged (pic related was one of the damaged, by still readable ones) out of I don't know how fucking many. It was a bitter lesson, but I'll make sure to make some backups from now on.

The guys told me that they once got a hard drive which was run over by a car, and the entire thing was twisted and curved like it was a banana, and their specialist could still get everything out of the thing.
I don't know how it works, but I wonder if the expense doesn't vastly increase for more serious and large databases like companies may keep, such as in this case (hence why donations are probably a godsend for KyoAni right now).
