Dropped it on episode 14 or something

furry shit

The OVA was amazing. The series itself was just alright.

nah I really don't get the appeal
I know what the appeal is but I just don't feel it for some reason

I like the aesthetic and the zeal behind the world building. (These points particularly stood out because the manga-ka is a rookie). But Eliot and his asperenger's is kind of a put off and the plot direction is kind of all over the place now.

Yea Forums loved the manga till the anime aired

I liked the original OVA
the actual show was a boring piece of crap

other than the confusing choices made regarding when to go chibi, it was pretty good. I disagree with the soundtrack being something of praise though

Looks nice and magic is cool. Sleighbeggy being full of crazy power but somehow only being able to summon shadow wasps when she was Kirby fucking pissed at Cartephilus felt stupid. She was mad enough that it took the skinwalker grabbing her and telling her to chill before she stopped.

Toysukuni no Shoujo was much better.

Totsukuni

It was really good.

Yes.
From an objective standpoint, it was nothing special. Personally however, I loved it.

I read the last chapter after skipping at her aids hand and all of a sudden It's Hogwarts up in here

Chise was very cute

Didn't watch the anime, but manga was somewhat above average for me. Just a little bit boring.

Not really

It's a typical case of author creating a wonderful premise but simply not knowing what to do with it.
Overarching story and the main "antagonist" of the huge chunk of a story are simply garbage. Arcs are repetitive, with Chise finding a new way to get her ass in danger and Elias being too much of a mouthbreather to prevent it. Immortal jew was incredibly annoying.
Elias in general is the biggest problem of the manga. Author wants to portray him as a wise old magus but at the same time wants him to be childish and vulnerable and all those traits clash and negate each other, leaving him as a complete idiot most of the time who can't even prevent Chise from getting hurt again.

that's because they whole joshua arc was a mess of spagetti

Yes and I'm excited for the next cour.

Anime worth watching or can I just read the manga?

visuals 4/10
story 5/10

it was kinda lacking and it felt so empty and boring

I enjoyed the premise so much that I kept reading it long after I would have dropped it but I just couldn't keep reading it. It's too dogmatic and predictable. Elias is the moral savior and paragon that makes autist mistakes because of his lack of humanity but ultimately he's the moral one for his lack of humanity too.
Every arc of the manga just flies around that circle.
Hello friend.

"Here" was kino. Especially that cappella.
