The manga finished a few days ago. Really sad stuff. She decides she doesn't like Kijima romantically after all and breaks up with him, saying that she was just lonely and mistook feelings of friendship for romantic love. Kijima is understanding. He's a bit stunned whenever she first announces her feelings and decision to leave him, but he composes himself, smiles, and tells her that he hopes she finds happiness with someone she truly loves and that the two of them will always be friends. Great guy to the bitter end.
