Before the anime, this was one of the least favorite parts.

Has the anime changed this for you?

Didn't realize this image had BOTTOM TEXT, I'm talking about the entirety of part 5 not this random arc

not at all, its still the shittiest part of jojo. the animation was good though DP did a great job

Haven't read the manga, but part 5 is easily the best part since part 2.

>Giorno's stand allows you to change fate, stop it from happening
>show then proceeds to tell you that you can't change fate

Nice. Great job araki

it's always been one of the weaker parts, but now everybody loves it since it's "new" and animated.
the only saving grace that it has is that Polnareff comes back and some fights are cool.

It seems like Jojo has been having "weaker parts" with both 4 & 5. I haven't read 6, but I really just want seven already.

He was talking about the rock faggot
What the rock predicts will happen resisting it will make shit worse

It was my favorite before and still is, fuck partshitters

get a load of this brainlet

Before the anime it was my favorite part with 7 as close second, now 7 isn't very close.

Better than 4 and 1, in the same league as 3, below 2

Probably the second worst part, still very fun though

Still not among my favorites. Can't wait for part 6 though.

Where did all the memes and comedy go? It was better than part 1 but that's not saying a lot.

It's better than Stone Ocean.

>memes and comedy
go back

You had Giorno drinking piss, Giorno sucking Mista's cock, 7 page muda animated and that's just the really fresh ones in my mind retard.

Bruno's fate in the rock was changed because of Mista's actions, which were fueled by the gang's loyalty to each other.
That same loyalty is what led them to defeat Diavolo. If it weren't for that, Bruno would have died when Diavolo put his fist through his chest.

Yes, more people died because of the change, but it was in defiance of the weaponized fate that was Diavolo. They were the sleeping slaves who woke up.

This used to be my second favorite part but after the anime adaptation I kinda realized how shitty the cast of characters are. Araki really backpedaled when it came to the personalities of the group. Still has the best stand fights out of all of the parts though.

imagine thinking a filler part with no relevancy towards the plot is better than a kino conclusion of the series

Nope. But the anime was more enjoyable than the manga.

The main plot of Jojo is shit, which is why 1, 3 and 6 are the worst parts.

Vento Aureo was beautifully animated & all the actors really sold their characters, maybe barring Ken Narita, but the part still kinda suffers from being Stardust Crusaders in Italy. It has some excellent fights, but the story’s nothing really too unique, and coming off of Diamond is Unbreakable, it might feel a little underwhelming for some folks; I frankly think they could’ve cut Modern Crusaders out & attempted a short 90-second epilogue or something like DiU did for it’s anime, but VA was pretty faithful.
If David goes full madman & does a movie/OVA for Purple Haze Feedback, then they’ll have knocked it out of the fucking park with VA.

>before the anime this was one of the least favorite parts
Only in Jojothreads can people talk completely out of their ass so openly - truly astonishing.

People did dislike part 5 for a while but as the anime went on and (while it wasn't entirely responsible for it) the new scans coming out it started being viewed more favorably.

anime reminded me how weak the ending was
certainly has one of Araki's worst endings

>started it until the train episode
>feel like i would enjoy it more in a row
>its now complete and i still dont wanna watch it
I guess i'll pick it up when they animate steel ball run

>being a bandwagon jumping SBR-fag

The worst of it was Giorno, he is a door, even more than Jotaro, at least Jotaro had the idea of someone who's trying to be cool and edgy, giorno had nothing

i like it more after the anime

you could say the same about 4, yet it's one of, if not the best part

Was my least favorite part in the manga. I don't know where I would rank it now, but the anime made a great job of making this part much more enjoyable.

it's the second shittiest part

I still hate what a letdown everything was after Diavolo's identity was revealed. Despite everyone being after it or preventing people that were after it it played no part in stopping Diavolo.
Entire Polnareff part also made no sense to me. So he fights Diavolo, gets crippled and instead of contacting Jojo for backup he just scans the internet waiting for someone to find Diavolo's identity to contact him and offer him the arrow. It's utter rubbish.

It's still shit, but DP did a great job adapting it.

>manga
1>4=8>6>2>1>5>3
>anime
5>2>1>3

He never played LEGACY OF KAIN
>fuck it hurts

part 4 introduced stand arrows, a major plot point in jojo, whereas part 5 just showed a requiem arrow which was never used outside of part 5. DiU has some meaning to the overarching plot and lore but VA just exists, it serves no purpose

This, I've no idea why but part 4 anime was absolute garbage compared to the manga

The anime was better

stardust crusaders is the best part you asshole

You forgot that Polnareff was isolated by the society that Diavolo had complete control of.

Pol had to keep a low profile to not draw the boss' attention

No, it was still bad.
The anime/manga was good up until Trish was introduced. After that, the characters you only care for are Giorno and Bucciarati.
Abbachio's death wasn't even impactful.
Fugo and Trish didn't do shit and were just there aside from their respective fights.
Narancia was annoying.
Mista was somewhat interesting but still forgettable.

Plus in particular to the anime, almost all the fights were 80% talking, 20% action, and the stand powers were so specific/out there that of course the good guys ended up winning by some sort of convoluted asspull.

before the part 5 anime, I'd say my opinion was:
4 > 2 > 3 > 1 > 5
now that the anime is done I'd say it's:
4 > 5 > 2 > 1 = 3

He was before he was presumed dead. The gang had no idea that he survived and hid somewhere, how can they isolate him then? He had every opportunity and chance to contact Jotaro or Speedwagon foundation precisely and especially after that point, he became a fucking superhacker while hiding for god's sake. It's bull.

This, but PowerPoint =/= animation

There was plenty of good animation. DP did use stills a lot just like all the other parts but here and there were parts that looked really good.

I share this opinion.

the only part id say 5 is better than is 1
out of the 7 parts ive watched/read this definitely has the most boring final """battle"""

I'm an anime only but this part was dumb
>giorno has a personality for the first 5 episodes then turns into an emotionless robot that can figure out your stand ability and weakness after seeing it attack once
ex. the train fight
>oh its body temperature guys, you had the cold drinks
ex. green day
>don't go down in elevation or you die
>after only seeing it once with two drunks stumbling around
>trish manhandles narancia when he goes to stab her
>typical damsel in distress in nearly every fight afterwards
>everyone knew she was a stand user before she even knew she had a stand
>inconsistencies with how king crimson works
>I don't even know where to start but it was definitely cool when it was first revealed
>was waiting for an epic fight against the boss
>how will they ever defeat this overpowered stand
>after 4 episodes of fumbling around the arrow
>asspull
>boss kills giorno
>GER says no
>muda muda muda
>my ability resets everything to 0
>my ability also makes you die infinitely over and over again in different scenarios
>also give life
>also "heal" allies but not really
>hit GE and you die but thats retconned after the first 3 fights
>boss dies to heroin addict
>was a lame death but poetic in a way
>boring rolling stones episode just so mista thinks for a second hes being attacked by a rock again
>lol jk I just fell into the turtle
but bucciarati was great, I loved every fight with zipper man
train fight especially was kino af
imo 2 > 4 > 3 > 5 > 1
