It's actually a pretty good manga. There's a reason they made two versions of the anime; it's hard to do justice.

i thought the manga wasnt done for the first FMA. i still enjoyed what they did with the story though.

I ordered the 35th anniversary edition of Akira, very excited to read it when it comes. Otherwise I'm reading Tesoro, a collection of short stories by Natsume Ono.

I haven't watched either anime adaptation yet. I was planning on watching those later after I read the manga.

Caught up wiht the newest chapter of Skip to Loafer. On one hand I really like it a lot because it's fun and Mitsumi's adorable. On the other hand the romance part of it feels way too generically shoujo and Shima just feels like such a bland romantic lead right down to his design. Still good overall though.

I read Shigurui recently. It was alright, a bit drawn out though and also some parts of it felt really meaningless to me. What was that plot with the frog guy and the chick who grew man parts during sex supposed to even be about? It went nowhere

Pretty much this. The older I got the less anime I watched and the more manga I read.

I also use Yea Forums less and less the older I get, thought I probably can never leave completely...

same situation here. i barely watch any anime, and whatever i watch, its only because i really, really liked the manga. From what i read, barely 10% is animated tho.
