Jojo Part 5 Ending

So, what the fuck, Mista was the reason Narancia and Abbachio died and they only reveal this in a flashback after the ending?
Also why the fuck is Polnareff still a turtle, just heal his body and have him climb back in there like Giorno does after Narancia's death, hell, golden wind can even give Polnareff his limbs back
The ending wasn't bad, but the sudden reveal of Rolling Stones, or how Polnareff gets dunked on by Araki AGAIN and such was really weird.

Polnareff was literally the main character of part 3, he didn't get dunked on by araki "again".
Plus, he stated that he was fine chilling inside the turtle. It would make sense too, having so much shit go on (i.e the whole ass stardust crusaders part, fighting diavolo, becoming a cripple etc.) that he would enjoy living out his day as a relaxed turtle.

That's just my take on it, though.

>Polnareff was literally the main character of part 3, he didn't get dunked on by araki "again".
I was talking about part 5 specifically, part 3 Polnareff is fine.
Its just that he was brought back out of nowhere at the end, but was now a half blinded cripple, only to serve as a glorified courier for the arrow/plot device for the gang to defeat diavolo, then he was immediately killed, turned into a turtle, robbed of his stand (maybe even permanently), then he just didn't appear for a few episodes and is now stuck in the turtle forever. Part 5 just kind of fucked him for no real reason imo.
Also, living as human next to the most powerful man of italy who is eternally indebted to you, is far more comfortable than living as a turtle.

>Mista was the reason Narancia and Abbachio died
Well yes, but if Bruno would have just touched the stone and died, then the quest to stop Diavolo wouldn't even happen

He would still be in danger, and plus chilling as a turtle not giving a fuck sounds nice IMO

continuation: living as a turtle would give you very few responsibilities, just allowing you to live pretty chill.
In PHF he seems very kino being the gang's turtle-bro.

Fair enough, i just found it weird that they introduced it like this during the finale, and didn't even really do anything with it, Mista doesn't even know what he did. It just felt like an overly long explanation for something that didn't need explaining, i.e. the death of some of the gang. Maybe it would've been better if they had done this as the first episode, or Giorno's first mission once he joins passione, but with less explanation, as a somewhat cryptic prophecy for whats to come.

Polnareff's stand is dead, so Polnareff is dead as well. The only thing keeping him on the Earth is the chad turtles stand

Maybe it would be fun for a while, but it would get boring and nasty very quickly, especially when compared to a life as a human. Also, Polnareff doesn't seem like the kinda guy to just sit back and check out of life.

He's already been through lots of shit my dude.
He probably would after his...y'know... FUCKING LEGS GET DESTROYED.
He would probably check out after that and all the other shit araki has thrown at him.

Still surprising the man is still alive.

It's mainly supposed to be a symbolic/thematic conclusion. The entire part is about struggling against fate while still accepting the inevitability of it and the resulting pain.
Seeing as how many people don't seem to get the ending, I think putting it at the beginning would have made that even worse.

Do you think Jotaro likes him better this way? I know for a fact Polnareff is the one who gets Giorno in contact with the Speedwagon Foundation for the plot of PHF, so it's not like Jotaro doesn't know he's still around.

I think really the greatest sin of Part 6 is just not having Jotaro comment on Turtle Polnareff's existence.

I haven't watched the episode, but as far as I remember from the manga, Polnareff also states that he's just a soul clinging to the turtle for a bit, implying that he's not too long for this world and basically dying/ dead already.
It's really weird that they don't recover his body instead.

The body's dead and also a mangled mess, and it's just the phrasing. In Purple Haze Feedback, which is half a year later, he's still around and fine.

But as far as i can see part 5 Polnareff isn't portrayed like someone who has checked out of life, only as normal polnareff. Its useless to debate how he could be technically feeling because in my opinion polnareff never expresses such desires.
I get what its supposed to mean, it just sucks that it came in a flashback out of nowhere with no real relation to the plot other than its themes. They could've made it more ambiguous early and only explained it/shown it from the sculptors perspective now. Like i said, now it just feels tacked on.

Did you just fucking call it Golden Wind

oh yeah right, thats the translated, copyright safe version of golden experience and i guess i just got used to it

>Diavolo if only four years older than Jotaro and a year younger than Kira
>Risotto is three years younger than Jotaro
>Cioccolata was born the same year as Diavolo and Reimi
the timeline fucks me up man

It explains why Bruno stayed alive after dying to KC, and how if he had died there, the wouldn’t rebel against the boss and Narancia and Abbacchio wouldn’t have died.
Breaking Rolling Stone sort of cancelled his first death.

The leaps are both small and big enough to mess with me. I realized Jolyne was already in Grade school when Part 4 happens and it really bugged me cause the time between 1987 and 1999 didn't seem as as big to me as 1999 to 2011, when it's the same amount of time.

mista saved buccialati and therefore commenced all of the events of part 5, in which abbachio and narancia died

Who would have killed Bucciarati if Mista didn't break the stone?

Diavolo in the church. He would stay dead.

Basically Araki retroactively created a theme for the entire part.

If he could return to his body he would have done so the moment SCR was destroyed.

Well, he couldn't since it was dead and he instead clung to the turtle, however Giorno could return to his body once it was healed and Narancia's soul was gone, so there is no reason for Giorno to just heal Polnareffs body and have him return.

How so? That would mean he doesn't meet Giorno. But meeting Giorno made Bucciaratti betray the boss.

The stone.

DUDE
FATE
LMAO

Neither a dead original body nor clinging to your host stopped SCR from sending everyone back.

Coco Jumbo was so powerful that not even a requiem stand could cancel his powers

Attached: file.png (250x250, 59K)

Fate has been part 5's theme since Narancia's backstory.

vento aureo > golden wind

Not my fault guys.

Attached: giorno.png (1000x639, 830K)

It’s fate, things couldn’t have gone any other way.
If Mista hadn’t destroyed the Stone, it would have killed Bruno right there, but the death it was predicting was indeed the one at the hands of KC, as in, if Bruno wasn’t bound to fight Diavolo and die soon, the Stone would not have done shit to him.
By destroying RS, Bruno was able to meet Giorno that very day, which would eventually make it so that he survived the fight against KC.
My personal theory is that what made Bruno survive was the life energy attack Gio used on him, as that happened that very same day Rolling Stone got smash by Mista.
Shut the fuck up. Part 5 is literally too deep for you.

>Y-yeah guys, Narancia's already gone. Nothing I can do about it now. Now don't mind me while I heal up my body and go back into it. Shame you suckers are still stuck in other people's bodies.

The stone still says he dies with a donut in him so giorno probably doesn't get to Bruno in time or Bruno's willpower isn't enough to stay alive.

I thought Mista's tetraphobia was explained at some point wha the fuck

That makes a lot more sense.

Neither was his bullet-dodging.

It was in the beginning of the series.

both of these things are explained, speedwatchers

Attached: 1543010598821.jpg (444x444, 45K)

It was not. They only explained how he got sex pistols and how he met bucciarati

Attached: 4.jpg (780x687, 231K)

was just about to post this

Purple Haze Feedback isn't official so everything you just said is invalid

Was that guy jesus or not?

>The entire part is about struggling against fate
It's not tho? Nobody knows what the fuck is going on. And now that hard predetermined fate is confirmed, the characters are all puppets and everything is exactly as it was meant to be since forever. Nobody is responsible for their actions and they're all victims of predetermined events, Diavolo was always meant to run a criminal empire and then be '''overthrown''' by some 15-year old newbie faggot who is simply granted victory. Characters die in the most retarded ways possible but now that's somehow justified cus fate.exe and Mista has literal plot-armor cus ''fate'' simply favors him to live during the course of the story.

Polnareff is not the turtle idiots

no, he had the imagery but Giorno is more of the metaphorical Jesus here

is Rolling Stone Jojo's ultimate pleb filter?

>Giorno is more of the metaphorical Jesus here
Oh yeah? I must've missed the part where he sacrifices himself for the sins of others.

I'm pissed with Diavolo ending.
It's a shitty paradox. Disvolo should have died or stood up after 8 seconds.
If requiem effect is making him live for ever those 8 seconds, unless they happen in a different plane of existence, or a different timeline since times keeps flowing his time couldn't have been stopped for ever for those 8 seconds. 8 seconds are 8 seconds.
Where was his body? They sensed him as alive.
If you tell me the ending was they locking him in a cage unconscious while his mind experiences infinite death, that would be more logical, but then here I am trying to squeeze logic out of jojo

Mista is just a superstitious guy. Much like the number 13 in western cultures, 4 is just an unlucky number in eastern cultures

>we lived long enough to see another animated part end
i have mixed feelings about this, thinking about the anons that passed away

>Diavolo dies forever because he messed with fate!
>but it's okay to mess with fate by rolling stones

Shit story

Mista prevented Rolling Stones from changing fate.

he isn't physically teleporting all over the world in order to die then teleporting again if thats what you're asking. It's probably just his soul/consciousness trapped forever
Diavolo never messed with fate, his ability tells him what is fated to happen then he makes sure it happens. He is fate

Don't forget about Giorno literally changing his fate of getting donuted by KC at the end. I guess you can defy fate if the story favors you lmao.

The whole point is that the gang's loyalty to each other, through Mista's actions, changed fate. Bruno would have died when he first meets Diavolo, and the gang would have continued being his slaves, or at best disband.
But their loyalty to each other meant that they became sleeping slaves, who would awaken and challenge the personification of fate, Diavolo, even if it cost some of their lives.

>characters are all puppets and everything is exactly as it was meant to be since forever. Nobody is responsible for their actions and they're all victims of predetermined events
You're so fucking stupid it's baffling.

>Rolling Stone
>Stone Ocean
Did he plan that?

it's almost like the ending was just some hastily tacked on shit to make the story seem 2deep4u

Man, anyone else think these last two episodes were fucking garbage?
Diavolo get's defeated like a chump after so many episodes of hyping him up

The stand user also has a crown of thorns and is a clear reference to jesus, and his entire point is by just accepting fate you can live an easier life. This is puccis entire plot, everyone can achieve "heaven" if they know their fate and just accept it.

Tangentially related to jojo endings, but if Stone Ocean's ED isn't Fly Like an Eagle, it was all in vain
youtube.com/watch?v=6zT4Y-QNdto
>Time keeps on slipping... Into the future
Made In Heaven
>I wanna fly like an eagle to the sea
"I want to be free from this Stone Ocean"
>ED animation would pan across a prison aisle showing every character in their cells, eventually panning to a window and a flying bird
DAV PRO PLEASE
>inb4 ocean man
Listen to this one and say that's still your pick

was it really necessary to explain this shit on the final episode?
it felt like a shitty conclusion

Its literally been the most consistent theme in jojos, and it was the main theme in Abbachios death. Diavolo wasnt punished by fate he was banished from it by the slaves who fought against it/him. His power was weaponized fate, but he desired only the result and never reached the truth.

Attached: R8EPup3.png (765x411, 491K)

In retrospect, this page is pure kino

He cant do shit against GER, it's literally his worst counter because that's what Giorno's true desires are, killing him once and for all

You don't think that the first subconscious use of his stand was using them to redirect
bullets?

I still think Giorno doesn't give a fuck about kids doing drugs and that he just said that to convince Bruno so he would join him

Thank god this garbage part is finally over.

can't believe they made us wait 3 weeks for this shit

Unrelated to all this but I remember hearing there was a group or site or something that modified the subs to restore the real Stand names. Is it true or am I tripping?

maybe when he lets himself get infected with Purple Haze?

PART
SIX
WHEN

i think it's a plugin

I don't mean a browser extension, I mean someone who would go through the episodes and change Lil' Bomber to Aerosmith and all that.

unless there's a plugin that does that in a video player or something

SomeStuffs? Or do you mean CR subs with real names?

sauce?

I don't know if the group in question did the whole subs on their own or just modified other subs to have the original names, but if SomeStuffs has said names, then I guess that'd be what I'm looking for

Late 2020 or 2021

idk man it's been a fun ride, I enjoyed it so far, it's always good to have some jojo around

test

Jojo is really weird about Fate if we're being honest
Fate is fate because it CAN"T be changed. So when Araki writes stuffs like GER murdering Diavolo when Epitaph shows King Crimson donuting GER it gets really confusing. So Fate can change? So how are we slaves? Was Epitaph wrong? Was Epitaph fated to be wrong when Epitaph accurately shows the future? Was Giorno fated to change Fate, but if so can you really say Fate was changed?
I think Fate is some god in Jojo that smiles down on those who righteously follow their paths instead of guys like Diavolo who thinks he's above Fate but was actually the biggest slave of them all.

Fate was fated to change.

Attached: 1473474898836.jpg (217x286, 75K)

That wasn’t a sacrifice because he already had a plan to cure himself.

There are really Jojo's animeonlyfags here on Yea Forums?
I'm losing all hope in this board, really.

>listing off herbivores
>only names a single herbivore

Attached: one of these things is not like the others.png (1920x1080, 3.47M)

I'm assuming you think the herbivore is the cow?

Because I will let you know horses eat baby chickens.

>implying cows are herbivores
lmao

youtube.com/watch?v=R9vxHN8_jSE

Well you know, italian camorrists aren't the smartest around...

Why would you ever want a short-range stand, when all the coolest ones have great range/are remote controlled?
>Highway Star
>Heirophant Green
>Sheer Heart Attack
>Black Sabbath
>Babyface

Attached: 1563242483943.jpg (2190x2878, 415K)

I understand what it means, my problem was simply that it felt tacked on at the end and was overly long only to explain things that we already knew, like the part's themes, or things that didn't "really" need such an explanation, like Bucciarati surviving death.

Mista doesn’t even know the difference between vegetarians and vegetarians.

Attached: feelsgoodman.jpg (540x720, 33K)

babyface and black sabbath are shit though

post yfw you expected some MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA long ass final fight with tons of time asspulls but instead got 30 minutes of some fucking rock story

Attached: walk away.png (501x445, 192K)

I know he isn't teleporting, and it's clear that he isn't physically suffering the pain.
So we have several options.
1) on the 8 second span that diavolo is able to stop time, Giorno makes him suffer infinite pain, but since time keeps flowing, by the end of those 8 seconds, his psique Is completely broken and he is alive, but withing a comma or braindead. Probably drowns.
2) Giorno extracts his soul and makes him experience infinite pain while his still alive body drowns in the river
3) the 8 second span has nothing to do so it all happens in diavolo's head as times goes by. Mental breakdown makes him drown in the river.

I could probably make a few combination more about those, but in the end he'll always drown in the river

black sabbath has a cool design tho, and babyface concept is kinda wasted i agree

Babyface had to potential to wreck the entirety of bucciarati's team had giorno not done that weird snake thing to melone
Black Sabbath I just like

im not an animeonly

why are you here?

I read manga in the manga board, how about you?

ZOMG!!!! WHO ELSE CLAPPED AND UNDERSTOOD THIS REFERENCE!!!!!! GIORNO IS TOTALLY DIO!!!!!

Attached: EPIC.png (1280x720, 954K)

new OP was the highlight of this crappy finale

That is literally what ep 33-37 was, it ended with Giorno getting the arrow after Bruno sacrificed himself, GER completely negated King Crimson and punchrushed him for 10 seconds with his and you expected Diavolo to do what?

i think the issue is that the king crimson fight doesn't feel like a fight

kira, the guy who's whole MO is to run away had more of a direct slugout than Diavolo and I can see how that would bother people

Now that the dust has settled, what was the superior opening?

Attached: Business.jpg (1000x667, 512K)

So Diavolo was murdered by some homeless, then revived before the autopsy and afer that it's a random loop of deaths?

pleb filtered

33-37 was full of this body swap shit and chasing the arrow.
The fight literally ends during the first 30 seconds of episode 38 so it kinda feel like shit.

Ummm.... boss? There are two negroes in the room.

Attached: 1557650022189.jpg (240x498, 21K)

Greato Daze still remains king

I can’t tell if you actually fell for it or are just pretending to fall for it.

...

Haven't watched the anime yet, but the beginning of an episode is a terrible place to put the end of the last real fight.

Attached: doppio & diavolo.jpg (600x885, 376K)

>sell drugs
>gets doomed to suffer a million deaths
bruh...

They've been saying that buying the Blu-Rays is the sure form of getting an adaption of the next part. How has GW been doing in the sales department?

I see

Let me fix this finale for you
>change the rolling stone story to episodes 35-36
>make giorno getting the arrow and unlocking GER part into episodes 38-39
Fixed

Anyone is welcome in the gang unless you are a woman

Good goy

Jojo is popular as fuck (again), this whole bruh just buy BR if you want the next parts is a meme

Pretty damn well, especially with merch sales.

>spend the last episode in a pointless flashback instead of giving a proper conclusion to the story
Wow bravo Araki.

Attached: EFEC60D2-619A-472A-8875-921F1D6BF483.jpg (337x333, 82K)

Fate has already been confirmed since part 1 with Zeppeli.
Fate isn't determinism. It's more lenient, has much less detail. It only predicts some key events but not necessarily how they will happen or what will lead to them.

who was more useless fugo-san or trish?

AAAAAAAAAHHHHH!! GET AWAY! GET AWAY FROM ME!

Attached: 1562811751642.webm (1920x1080, 1.54M)

You saying Jesus did not expect coming back 3 days later ?

Sleeping Slaves was the conclusion you retard

Getting sick for a few seconds is very different from being crucified.

Probably a stretch but I just noticed this.

Attached: 2019-07-28_18-13-41.jpg (1744x661, 176K)

where can i buy jojo merch to support them?

That’s not a conclusion. It does not matter in the slightest to the current events

D-don't....

Attached: 1iy78ps6g8r21.jpg (561x761, 39K)

So part 5 was the pleb filter after all

Attached: Chapter_592_Cover_A.png (780x1200, 1.92M)

how so?

nah I'm pretty sure you're right. The crown of thorns isn't there for no reason

Japan

it's prob just a golden experience reference but it would be cool too if it were that, its like if they were trapped in the chains of fate, but those chains are natural and a part of life

Made a better one.

Attached: 2019-07-28_18-16-47.jpg (2178x667, 195K)

that was already known

The material the arrow is made of and consequently requiem stands or maybe even regular stands (to a lesser extent if that is the case) have some property on the same existential tier as Fate or higher, as in, can change Fate or at least has a chance to go against it.

So why did Araki not even bother writing a final fight with diavolo?

giorno's big dick energy made him mob boss. they might adapt PHF if you want to see how that re-organizes passione.

shonentards everybody

Liar.

The BDs are selling an average of 4k. That's really bad.

>i think the issue is that the king crimson fight doesn't feel like a fight
Those people will love part 7 then, waiting for that final fight to finish in real time as the chapters came out felt like forever but there is more than enough fighting in there to satisfy anyone.

I waited 2 weeks for a filler episode

Are you fucking kidding me

also why does the turtles stand still work even though it switched souls with polnareff and should now be dead?

oh fug

Fun fact, the rolling stone user also gets shot by mista in both hands, leaving 2 holes. like my nigger jesus

Attached: youcantunseethetruth.jpg (199x199, 10K)

I started out loving part 5 but by the end I was weary of how humorless everything was. Mista occasionally acting like a clown doesn't make up for everyone else being a somber cunt, and all the heavy destiny/power/corruption shit.
Diavolo's brutal death loop also struck me as uncharacteristically dark for Jojo, even a villain.

That said, there were a lot of cool stand fights. Metallica, KC, White Album, and Green Day are some of my new favorites.

its there for the same reason scolipi got two bullet holes in each hand. Araki wanted Scolipi to be some jesus-like figure.

Fugo i think

Alternate ending:
>Giorno is finally the Mafia Boss and then he show's his DIO side
>''Yeah i really dont give a shit about kids and drugs i just wanted to lure Bruno to help me lmfao keep the money up bois''
>Mista Complains and gets angry but then remembers GER
>''what you gon do now, gun boi? shoot yourself?''

Parte 5 FinalE

yeah exactly, to tie fate into heaven just like part 6

I can't handle how dark part 5 is. I don't think it's bad or anything, but the tone is so draining.

Having Giorno as the protagonist kinda kills any personality the part may have had

shit, you're right

KC is so broken it's hard to work around (it was majorly gimped in the Rissoto fight and still beat the A-tier Metallica), and GE's abilities aren't really well explained so it'd be hard to do a proper showdown without resorting to unacceptable levels of asspull.

Virtual Insanity gets to be ED2 then.

It's hard not to get the reference user

I've read that GER just puts him in a pocket dimension of infinite death and pain, but I'm not that sure about it.

Attached: Get fucked.jpg (476x758, 37K)

doesn't help that dp cut out some light hearted moments
KC didn't show up until the end of the metallica fight, it was mostly just epitaph and doppio. I thought Bruno put up a good fight against KC.

he looks like he's gonna whip and nae nae

Yeah that's how I feel. The first few parts got a little too goofy at times but 5 was basically a mob drama with gayer outfits.
I'm reading SO now and feel like the tone is perfect, they play it surrealism but crank the surrealism and dark humor up to 11.

So what happened to Trish

Diavolo tried to cheat fate, so fate decided he'll get to relive his fate forever.

I didn't like the ending at all. I feel that the chariot requiem mind swap and the fucking stone episode really messed the pace of what have should been a climatic fight between diavolo and giorno. Just tell me is it the part 6 good? Are the spin offs good?(if they will ever be animated)cause looking at the premise of alternative versions of the same characters really makes me want to kill myself.

Damn...
checked

started a new and better life somewhere

Based Check. Very lucky too

It’s baffling to see people like yourself watch a series from beginning to end and basically admit you didn’t pay attention.

Would have been nice to see that instead of rocks

not this shit again

Am I wrong?

SO is great. its got some part 4 slice of (prison) life but with some DIO plot

6 is polarizing, it gets so insane that everything before looks like child's play, but it's one of my favorites for that reason. It's distilled Jojo.
If you mean SBR and JJL (haven't read that one yet), the 'alternate timeline' thing is overblown, it's not really the "same" characters in any meaningful sense.

Everything after Polnareff’s death was a mistake. The entire show was building up to this amazing payoff and it just fell flat

>Keeping Part 5 shitty anti-climatic ending

BRAVO DAVIDPRO

Where are all of these niggers from resetera and Yea Forums are coming from?

So what happened to Trish? Did she continued to stay with Giorno and Mista or just moved on with her life?

Because he's a bad writer who comes up with shit on the spot
But I guess it was a lesson for him, because 6 and 7 have good and fitting endings vs stupidly overpowered villains

I mean, seeing Trish as an anime extra would have been nice, but you cant skip the Rolling Stone's flashback from the manga, people would have complained if that happened

It was a final race (for the arrow) against Diavolo

who is that homosexual

nigga read

There is no changing fate. Rolling Stones doesn't kill anybody, it can only give people who are already fated to die soon a painless death. It doesn't create the future, it just sees the future.

The point of the story is that in spite of being fated to die they did the best they could with their remaining life.

Did David add any extra scenes?

Smart man, you got it. He says in the anime itself that he's holding onto the turtles stand not the turtles body

Part 6 has arguably the best finale, villain and jojo.

I really wish we saw the aftermath. That was my biggest gripe with part 5. I know the novel exists but Fugo's backstory is already retconned so it's probably not canon.

you mean the last 2 episodes or the whole part?

>animeonlys hate the ending because no final big fight
>The race for the arrow was the fight
>Anime opening just spoils who gets it anyway

Attached: 1557860711363.jpg (400x400, 32K)

All herbivores will eat meat if it's easily avalible.

>but you cant skip the Rolling Stone's flashback from the manga
Why not? Most people seem to hate it

I see, did Araki mentioned that in interview or something?

I think it’s fitting based on two things.

1). In a religious context he is framed as a demon or the devil himself ( When Polnareff faced DIO on the stairs he was alluded to be God, and when Polnareff faced Diavolo he was down the stairs) so Giorno basically dispelled him back to Hell to face eternal damnation.

2). The entire character of Diavolo is some schizophrenic psycho who convinced himself that he’s a servant of fate despite running away from his own fate. Giorno placing him in a death loop is pretty poetic since he made it so Diavolo can no longer run from what’s coming to him.

man this part was fucking great
they nailed everything

Attached: arrivederci.png (1363x720, 1.85M)

>now 1-2 yeasr of shilling from part 6 fags
*sigh*

Yeah, I think the same. Why it is so hard to give a proper epilogue?

She went on to become a model and singer, literally spice girls.

Attached: spicegirl_by_nikunja_dcta1eh.jpg (1000x1538, 304K)

I wish lmao

Mista wasn't Narancia. Unless the anime added something, his motivation was money for himself and to rise up in rank.

Seriously how did Araki fuck up the conclusion this hard? Part 1,2,3, and 4 all have very good conclusions compared to 5

Now the DP's adaptation has concluded, which moments did you think they did a great job animated?

For me it's:
>the gang's flashbacks
>Polpo's trial
>Diavolo vs Risotto

Attached: [Erai-raws] JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken - Ougon no Kaze - 39 [1080p][Multiple Subtitle].mkv_snapshot_23 (1920x1080, 316K)

>Giorno makes animal
>animal attacks Diavolo
>Diavolo hits it
>Diavolo takes damage
>Diavolo sees this outcome
>Time is erased
>Diavolo now has to find a better way to deal with Giorno without risking his damage returning to him.
Why didn't this happen?

>people like part 5
This was truly the asspull of asspulls, GER's ability doesn't even make coherent sense on its own. I hesitate to say it but this may have actually been worse than part 4, and that is saying something.

Damn, what a great shot

BUCCIARATI GIVE ME THE ARROW NOW

Attached: 66D46214-0BF1-482B-A47E-AD9545A5CEED.jpg (679x382, 56K)

then it wouldn't be an accurate adaptation, they can add extra scenes, but removing chapters entirely...the fact that there are some things that people hate it's not DP's fault, blame Araki

Part 4 was literally the most fun part with the best villain.

Thank . It should have been a beatdown betwen giorno and diavolo not a stupid chase before giorno gets the arrow then you can make it one sided. The magnitude of diavolo's reveal and menace was nullified by the chariot shit but really that shit swaps the minds and then trasforms you in a...monster? What the fuck does that even mean? Also I think that the swap really fucked up the drama of bucciaratti and narancia's death seeing him dying in giorno's body does not work at all for me.

That was the fight, getting the arrow was the win condition. The first step was killing Doppio and Diavolos mobility, then figure out how Diavolo attacked Narancia, then who he was in all while chasing and trying to figure out chariot requiem. You cant fight King Crimson in a normal fight.

Narancia vs Formaggio

the whole fucking train fight, that was really nice

How did she kill him?

Attached: death.png (512x415, 292K)

No. As far as im aware what happens is a combination of the two stands abilities. Since King Crimson can see the future and choose the best option, Giorno is using his requiem to make all and every future possible happen but without the final consequence.
Since we see Diavolo fall into the river, I assume that at the point he falls every and all possibilities have already happened.
Probably the mental exhaustion makes him pass out and drown?

True, very pretty

Bucciarati is the best boy and he was more like main character than Jojo.

>spoil Narancia and Brunos death and break the pacing that was building as Bruno runs into the coliseum.

BIG was good. too bad the trish theme was never used again.

Part 4 is the most boring with a shitty joke villain

After SCR was defeated, Coco Jumbo was able to return to his body.

Doppio vs Risotto was seriously one of the top moments in all of the Jojo anime so far

Because part 5 ended and i wanted it to last a little bit longer.

they're watching from heaven like Abbaccio, Narancia and Bruno in the last episode. Some might be clinging to turtles though.

Attached: part 4 is greato.png (356x298, 185K)

GER was always going to be the ending

He didn't mess with fate with rolling stone though. Bucciaratti still died and had a hole in his chest as did the other guys. The stone itself messes with fate by giving you an easy way out which for example that daughter took.

That’s fine for the ending, but there should have been an actual fight. Are you telling me the gang didn’t think up some strategy to fight against diavolo?

Anime-only fag here (I knew Part 5 would come out soon so I kept waiting, gonna read the Manga ASAP). I always understood the Kitten explanation as just another reason Mista hates the Number 4, not it being the origin of it. Something I now realize after Rolling Stones:
> Mista shoots 3 Scolippi three times but misses
> Shoots him a 4th time which is meant to 100% hit
> The 4th shot does not kill him, the bullet was never fired
> Mista can't kill Scolippi, hence can't prevent Bucciarati's inevitable death
> Mista hates/fears the Number 4 throughout because he can't escape his or others' fate
> Foreshadowing
Is Araki my Nigguh even a bigger hack than I thought?

Attached: 1564350803185.png (1280x720, 1.32M)

In the last two episodes.

hey guys, Trish/Mista is confirmed now after they joked around, right?

*unzips head*
this was the most hype moment in the anime for me.

Anyone got a webm of the new sequence in the OP? The part where GER is born.

Rolling Stone only offers a chance to meet the fate earlier.
>fated to die
>option 1: die in an unknown way in the near future
>option 2: merciful death now from Rolling Stone

maybe when he freaking expose his life in every fight and lose an arm or something

You fucking cretins how often do you have to be told that the result isnt what fucking matters. The ending is intentionally breif and open ended. They did the right thing without taking any shortcuts.

>Just tell me is it the part 6 good?
The part 6 jojo is more lighthearted and comedic like Joseph and Josuke
The part 6 villain is charismatic and a bit of a meme like DIO
The part 6 crew is alright. Anasui might turn you off though, he's kind of an asshole at times
The final fight blows the part 5 fight out of the water, but then again the part 5 final fight is the worst out of all the parts.

give the round spot another explanation then.

Sleeping Slaves is an epilogue, it makes perfect sense where it is

>Trish/Mista is confirmed now
yes they are canon
fujos btfo

probably a drawing mistake or something only the person who drew it knows

You're right, that would've been far better actually

If they could've changed more here's how i would've liked it too
>Have Rolling Stone arc set right after Giorno joins Passione
>Bucciarati tells Giorno to accompany Mista on this mission and aid him
>Story unfolds roughly the same, but have it focus more on Mista and Giorno getting to know each other, and leave out Rolling Stone changing into Abbachio and Narancia i.e. make it seem like this was just another stand user of the week and giorno proving himself
>Continue part 5 as usual
>In episode 39 Mista sees Rolling Stone again, and it had Abbachio and Narancia's face too which now disappear, and the sculptor then explains that they had to walk this path etc.

Do you mean the Giorno vs Baby Face theme? Because that's what plays when Trish discovers her stand, and when she beats BIG it's the regular battle theme.

youtube.com/watch?v=QUzwQKqxE90

But yeah, it's a banger.

He always has a plan to make it out alive and unscathed.

You just fixed part 5

I like thinking that GER is basically making Diavolo live every possible way he could've died therefor making all the possibilities that King Crimson could ever see true, except the one that Diavolo wants

>and the sculptor then explains that they had to walk this path etc.
if you're writing a good story you can't explain themes and plots bits to shonentards

The ending is just rushed. How did the story benefit from relegating everything beyond the final battle to three wordless pages of Giorno sitting on a throne?

There was a fight, two actually. One when they betrayed him, the second one where he killed Polnareff and Narancia, attacked Trish and Giorno. There was never going to be a stand clash because thats not how Diavolo fights and no one coulds do much if he did.

I can't believe it's already over. It's been one hell of a ride, watching it week to week with you guys.

Attached: vlcsnap-2019-07-28-18h14m10s759.png (1920x1080, 99K)

Being afraid of 4 is not something that requires an explanation. The word for four in Japanese is "Shi" which is the same as their word for death. It's just a cultural think. That would be like some Japanese fuck complaining it's a plot hole in a piece of western media that they didn't explain why a character was afraid of unlucky number 13.

The combination of his eyes and the weird background are somehow extremely scary to me

Attached: 1563543551626.png (210x339, 126K)

There’s another theme that plays exclusively in the Trish vs BIG episode

I'll have to check, because I didn't notice.

>No Stone Ocean leak

its when spice girl crushes BIG with the pipe

i just meant it kinda like the actual speech he makes in the epilogue

Attached: fate.png (1280x800, 705K)

Its a common muscle/rib definition that lots of people who don't really care about anatomy use.

Attached: 10288516a2[1].jpg (563x800, 51K)

cant leak what isnt there

>There is no changing fate
My problem is that Giorno's actions with GER completely contradicts the post-theme that araki was trying to tell. GER does change fate. It simply does not allow you to achieve the fate you were meant to arrive at. This is a contradictory point and proves that the show has shit writing.

lmfao you are going to HATE the part 6 ending

Just have it play when the survivors are walking back to the coliseum

These are the handrails when Giorno fought Black Sabbath

But it wasn't an open ending. Open ending would give us multiple options on what exactly happend like ending right when Giorno leaves the Colosseum. Us seeing him taking over the org is not an open ended ending. It's just cut off short because Akari lost interest. We don't see how the org changes in any way or how people react to him taking over as boss or anything like that. Or what happens to Trish at all.

I like how Diavolo became the paranoid schizoid man in the end. Solid reference.

>not liking Sleeping Slaves
christ imagine being that much of a pleb faggot lmao

i want to touch that stone

I literally just told you why. Focusing on the reward instead of the sacrifices and effort it takes is exactly the what Diavolo did. See

its been a legitamate pleasure and I look foward to doing it again with you nerds in part 6

Attached: entrance admitted.jpg (800x450, 73K)

NOOOOOOO BRUNO

Result. doesnt. matter.

But the stand is just a manifestation of the user's soul and fighting spirit, it cannot die while the user still lives. Also the turtle should be dead, it swapped souls with Polnareff as he died.

cringe

Di molto

chase

Diavolo's fate is really gruesome. I had a hard time watching when he was on the autopsy table He's just going to keep being killed over and over in new scenarios until the end of time.

>stand is just a manifestation of the user's soul and fighting spirit
yeah but chariot separated from polnareff, it became its own being

I haven't read PHF, is that where it's mentioned? I thought that wasn't canon

Not. An. Excuse. For. A. Rushed. Ending.

I like to think that when they swapped bodies, Coco Jumbo died in polnareff's body so he got trapped inside the turtle, not being able to return, also silver chariot just went sicko mode and separated from polnareff when he got requiem

>the turtle should be dead
Somehow, he isn’t.

Polpo's funeral

>Coco Jumbo died in polnareff's body
Confirmed not to be the case in the final chapter.

Sleeping slaves is the ending and its not rushed. Plotfags will never understand Jojo so you might as well drop it now.

hmmm maybe it's because polnareff was already dead when they swapped souls so coco jumbo remained normal and now it co-exists with polnareff? 2 souls inside a turtle body?

polnareff is in the stand mr president

Sleeping Slaves is part of the conclusion, but a full conclusion would include more information about what happened between the final battle and the final pages.

Yeah, but idk it still just seems kind of bullshit to me, a stand just seperating itself and then dying on its own leaving the user standless forever just seems so weird considering what we know of stands and then they should've just killed Polnareff off. Also the turtle's stand surviving is still bullshit no matter what, unless you mean to tell me that Polnareff took over its stand when he lost his
ok i admit it i just want silver chariot back, he is the coolest fucking stand, i was hyped to see him back in part 5, and he only shows up once, immediately loses and doesn't even have the cool angry/bored looking eyes he had in part 3

Attached: Eyes.jpg (1064x553, 134K)

Polnareff isn't inside the turtle's body, it's inside the turtles stand (confusing, I know). Why the turtles mouth moves in the anime is beyond me, but that's just how it is.

someone make a jojolion thread so i can shill my head doctor theory

Part 4 added a couple of extra epilogue scenes during the credits showing the entire cast, I was disappointed we didn't get something similar here.

ooh i see
about the talking thing, several people can talk using stands in jojo, star platinum inside the water, spice girl, king crimson, ger....maybe he's talking using the stand, but since it has no physical form, the turtle does the job

make one yourself my dude...

Did you seriously expect them you change it?

>Fate has already been confirmed since part 1 with Zeppeli.
So? That doesn't make it good writing. Don't give me that ''it was there before'' excuse for new crap. And it was never as involved into the plot as it was with 5.
>Fate isn't determinism.
You're right, it's actually PREdeterminism.
> It's more lenient, has much less detail. It only predicts some key events but not necessarily how they will happen or what will lead to them.
Well of course the author will not fucking spell out the whole story in a ''prediction'', but we are led to believe everything that happens was simply predetermined, that is what fate means. It goes in even more detail in 6 where if Pucci's plan worked out, people would somehow know how their entire lives will play out before them, strictly fated and exact and they can't do anything about it. It's completely nonsensical crap Araki delved into. ''Fate'' is whatever the fuck the author wants, why does literally bringing it into the universe now somehow excuse the shitshow that has been happening thus far? Characters making retarded decisions? Fate! Characters dying the dumbest ways possible? It's just fate bro! Giorno winning everything in the end despite not working for it and being granted power and position? He was just born under a lucky star of being the MC! You fatefags are hilarious.

no

Jotaro killed DIO by breaking The World. So destroying a Stand kills the user.

Attached: maxresdefault-1.jpg (1280x720, 168K)

thats about as plausible the explanation could get. I can just imagine silver chariot moving the turtles mouth manually to simulate talking.

You're all retarded.
Bruno gets made capo, Trish's existence is brought to light by hit squad, Bruno gets assigned the rescue mission, boss kills Bruno and Trish as originally intended. The stone predicted Bruno's death at KC, it technically still fucking happened, but giorno was there to prolong the pain.

Rolling stones was some fucking SCP shit.

Other than some small details, they've never changed anything from the source material, have they?

They didn't fix the Josuke time travel dropped plotline, the various inconsistencies in Stand powers, nor any of the Araki Forgots. Why would they change GW's ending?

How can Mr President still work when Coco Jambo is dead? Since we're at it, how could Giorno clone Coco Jambo and have the clone also have a Stad even though it didn't get pierced by the arrow?

Attached: frodo.jpg (600x599, 45K)

>How can Mr President still work when Coco Jambo is dead?
He isn’t.

again, polnareff died, coco jumbo didn't

The reason why Bruno was able to return to his body, even though he appeared briefly as a ghost, is because his fate was changed ever so slightly. Remember that Scolippi's power prevents your death until you are fated to die.

It's unfortunate that part 6 takes a while to get good

See

So you're telling me Coco Jambo didn't die in Polnareff's body, even when that's exactly what happened to Doppio on Bruno's body?

Wut, pretty sure there were several users who died after their stand was destroyed.

Yes.

>Yea Forums - Anime and manga
>manga
>why are you here if you don't watch animes
animeonly confirmed

The early fights are pretty funny at least. The dude in the bird corpse, the guy who can't stop trying to kill himself, jolyne covered in white goo.

Why, the plot doesnt matter, the character arcs were done.

>The reason why Bruno was able to return to his body, even though he appeared briefly as a ghost, is because his fate was changed ever so slightly.
It wasn’t.
>Remember that Scolippi's power prevents your death until you are fated to die.
The only power of Rolling Stones is to kill people who are fated die in the near future. Everything else is just fate itself.

It doesn't ignore fate, it directs fate for everyone except himself.

Bruno was still alive but heavily injured and decomposing so Doppio's soul could get in, polnareff's body on the other hand was already done and his spirit was not inside anymore, but his soul could swap into coco jumbo's stand, not the case with the turtle. since it's sould cannot get into a dead body, that's how i see it

This settles it. Part 5 is fine.

Attached: [Erai-raws] JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken - Ougon no Kaze - 39 [720p][Multiple Subtitle].mkv_snapshot_23. (1280x720, 41K)

Giorno’s arc of becoming the new boss wasn’t complete, and we never learned what happened to Trish.

I won't complain about the ending itself but the delivering was a fucking disaster they cut on the best moment on episode 37 and after almost a month they deliver the 38 and its like 4 minutes for finishing and then two fucking episodes of a flasback followed by a 30 second epilogues.

What a shit letdown ending, and the worst thing is that is not a bad ending, but they just ruined it with this weird delivering

Attached: [HorribleSubs] Bungou Stray Dogs - 31 [720p].mkv_snapshot_08.32.jpg (1280x720, 135K)

So where exactly is Diavolo now? Is he somewhere out there getting killed, or is he trapped in some sort of Purgatory?

Attached: 1361002998647.jpg (512x512, 175K)

The site I usually pirate JoJo on doesn't have episode 38. Where did you guys watch it?
>inb4 "on Crunchyroll, poorfag"
None of you faggots actually use Crunchyroll

That’s exactly how it was in the manga.

jojo is for losers

It's my favorite thing from part 5. Self contained story that gave much needed characterisation and background to the characters.

Giorno did become the new boss. What happened to Trish is irrelevant as she is 100% safe without Diavolo around. A lack of explanation surrounding superficial filler details aren't plot holes nor equivocal to a rushed ending.

Did you even watch the last episode? Why do you think mista couldn't kill scolippi? why mista survived the fall? he literally explains how his stand works. call it the stands power, or just fate, but thats how it works. you're fucking retarded for not realizing this, thats literally the whole point of the arc.

just torrent it

There was a three week wait for the last few chapters? Fucking retard.

imagine downloading episodes instead of watching them online hd

>Giorno did become the new boss.
We don’t learn how he did.
>Trish is irrelevant as she is 100% safe without Diavolo around.
But what will she do with her life now?

Ass pulls are what make Jojo great. This is why part 2 is the best, all of these stoic characters suck. I want to see an charismatic underdog defeat the gods despite being cornered the entire way through. Not some autist who picks up small details like "he had dust on his handkerchief" and get a power up in the final battle.

God Araki fucked this up... Part 2 is the best, no other part compares to its hype.

Wheres the torrent? On the PirateBay or something?

Imagine caring. Jotaro dies in part 6.

inb4 non canon, but PHF says he just told everyone he was the boss and tried to hide it because he was 14, everyone believes him because he has GER.

Abacchio's death was one of the best directed sequences this year.
Narancia's death hit where it hurt.

Attached: 1540350208953.jpg (1280x720, 174K)

>So? That doesn't make it good writing. Don't give me that ''it was there before'' excuse for new crap. And it was never as involved into the plot as it was with 5.
"Fate has already been confirmed since part 1 with Zeppeli." was in response to "now that hard predetermined fate is confirmed", what you're saying here has no relation to me I never implied whether it made for good writing or not.
>You're right, it's actually PREdeterminism.
Whatever
>the rest
Got nothing to do with anything I said, fag

Araki only cares about results man, he doesn't give a shit about if the process makes sense or not. How the hell does Giorno ascend to boss position? Who cares, he just does cus I say so. Do the characters use their wits and planning to bring Diavolo down? Nah, they just get granted a special win-button arrow from a hacker ex machina. Also Giorno defying his fate is somehow ok, but Diavolo isn't. It's hardly a consistent theme. And a ''theme'' does not excuse shit writing.

The moon reminded me of Persona 3's OP, burn my dread

I meant aside from that.

Most readers.

The anime was good from a production and presentation standpoint, but I still don't really like Part 5.

yes, because he saved Bruno, so that he'd meet Giorno and they'd embark on the quest to fuck over the Boss.
if Bruno died, Narancia and Abacchio would have different fates.

also after this ep I finally realized that it was probably shittiest boss fight, Kira got screwed but at least he almost solo'ed everyone + did good against Jotaro, it literally WOOOOW TOOK 4+ OF YOU TO KILL ME

>We don’t learn how he did.
Irrelevant. He likely just sat down in the chair and strong armed anyone who tried to step up to him. GER is literally broken. He couldn't done anything.
>But what will she do with her life now?
Who cares. Live safely.

jotaro is a shitty character. who gives a fuck

>Narancia's death
They kinda went overboard with it.

based on some of the replies ITT it certainly is.
And while we're shitting on animeonlies
Gyro, Diego, and Hot pants are all killed by Valentine
Johnny loses the Steel Ball Run to Diego from another universe who has The World
Johnny dies in part 8

Mista is not Japanese and doesn't know shit about their culture

The only way to save Part 5 is not having Bruno ever die and become the Boss instead.

Can somebody tell me why the rock came back next to Trish? Wtf, isn't it supposed to show the way somebody dies. Trish didn't touch it, but why did the rock come back? And why didn't it have a carving? What's the point of it coming back if it doesn't have a fortune?

KissAnime (dot) ru
Had both episodes up with subtitles

>Haven't watched the anime yet, but the beginning of an episode is a terrible place to put the end of the last real fight.
To clarify I was not counting Sleeping Slaves as the last real fight.

Attached: diavolo & doppio.jpg (857x1200, 1.27M)

everyone dies in part 6 because part 7 is a totally new universe

>Irrelevant. He likely just sat down in the chair and strong armed anyone who tried to step up to him. GER is literally broken. He couldn't done anything.
It would be nice if they addressed that and the ramifications.
>Who cares.
You could say that about any character arc or plot thread. Saying that you don’t care about one of the main characters doesn’t justify their lack of a conclusion.

PART 6
NEVER
EVER

it was symbolic of them waking up and no longer being sleeping slaves; their fate from that point on was malleable (not literally, they'll always be chained to their ultimate demise, but thematically from a plot perspective they had completed their goal and could go in any direction from there)

The rock at the end wasn’t actually Rolling Stone.

Someone post the Diavolo!Aqua edits

the part 7 universe isn't the universe from part 6's epilogue

im pretty sure its just a road decoration

didn't you guys realize that Rolling Stones was in the ED the entire time? I don't think anyone picked up on that before these episodes.

Does anyone have a good pic of Narancia's flowers, Abbacchio's wine and Bruno's zipper at the end of the episode?

Many people actually did.

Nigga I don't even particularly like Trish but with her being the main impetus for the plot and seeing her building friendships with the gang over the course of 30 episodes, I still feel a tinge of emptiness when she apparently fucks off and has nothing to do with them again

youtube.com/watch?v=EGTToTskAbY
Here's the finale fixed

Trish was a plot device nigga
your fault for growing attached to something like that

>fucks off and has nothing to do with them again
thats the point, shes a kid and should have never been pulled into the gang life

They stopped being sleeping slaves the second Mista broke the rock and the gang decided to protect Trish, so having it be there isn't really a symbol of anything.

Wtf Araki at the very least state it...

I agree with there being too many aggressive death flags, but the sparrow flying over Fugo and Abbachio's death site was neat.

Giorno obtained diety level power and you think the important part is how he became a mob boss? Everything you want is pure fanservice that does nothing for the story. Trish is safe and taken care of, thats all that matters.

Yes, she was a plot device, but she also had a character arc that was left unfinished.

This desu, he got robbed completely.

Requiem stands and the arrow are above fate.

nah its worth it to see Giorno with his green/black bossfit

>Giorno obtained diety level power and you think the important part is how he became a mob boss?
Yes, because that’s the whole point of his character arc.
>Everything you want is pure fanservice that does nothing for the story.
Completing Giorno’s character arc would be pure fanservice?

is PHF good? I love the Boogiepop series and PHF was written by the lad that writes Boogiepop but im not sure how well his writing style would translate to JoJo.

Arrivederci

Attached: jojo nazi.jpg (636x333, 114K)

I think part 6 does a good job of keeping some gore in as well as being so goofy and bizarre. the whole adaption is going to feel like a fever dream in the best way

what was unfinished about it? Her last important scene is her joking around with mista showing she and the gang respect each other.

The final version of Traitor's Requiem is the best OP in the series. Prove me wrong

It isn’t canon, but many people enjoy it.

For all shitting on the ending, I don't think it needed a massive overhaul. Just a small bit with narration like every other part explaining that Giorno overhauled the organization and would be busy/tasked with the process of consolidating his power and undoing the negative elements of Diavolo's reign. Maybe tease a Fugo sillhouette in there.

no part 6 tease is a sign that could go either way. Will they take their time and have us wait years and deliver upon it in the same vein they did with 5?

Giorno's goal was to become the boss. He became the boss. His arc is complete.

I wish they had done something more with the fact that Giorno is Dio's son
At least he isn't a total fuck up like his half brothers though

We never find out what she’ll do afterwards.

No it fucking isnt. His goal is not his arc, you're an actual fucking autist who has no idea what anything but plot and dialogue is.

>Will they take their time and have us wait years and deliver upon it in the same vein they did with 5?
I'm pessimistic they will. From my understanding part 5 is beloved in Japan but part 6 is considered kinda meh. I feel as though it will get an adaptation, but the budget will be kinda low. So expect some QUALITY Whitesnake I guess

Well how wonderfully convenient. Both of those are not at all utter bullshit by themselves.

Thats not what a character arc is

How did he do it? Did he just use his godlike powers? Did he use his charisma? Becoming a leader means more than just being strong.

Not saying she should join the gang but we could at least get confirmation that she keeps in touch. Like show her sexting Mista while in her dressing room about to put on a live performance.

>Johnny dies in part 8
Well not really it's only a flashback, and the moment you start part 8 you know this is inevitable seing the date it is set at

Giorno’s arc is his goal of becoming a leader.
Trish’s arc is escaping from the shadow of her father, which should include having a life afterwards.

people are so pleb. sleeping slaves is high art level ending and animeonlys are showing off their low IQ because there wasn't Muda's happening

Becomming a mob boss is less difficult when you become a god level character, him getting the arrow was the difficult part, Diavolo knew about it before Giorno did. Fate didnt punish Diavolo. A theme doesnt excuse bad writing but you literally dont understand the theme.

>Just a small bit with narration like every other part explaining that Giorno overhauled the organization and would be busy/tasked with the process of consolidating his power and undoing the negative elements of Diavolo's reign.
They cannot do this because it makes absolutely no sense that he could do that in the first place. They are left with NOTHING at the end. How can Giorno even place himself into that position? Nobody knows shit about bossu's business and where he conducts it from. They gonna go check hotel rooms across Italy for his laptop or what? Giorno's left without any meaningful connections by the way of Bruno, he is a nobody in the organization and both Polpo and Pericolo, the only capos he was in brief contact with are dead. The ending is utter nonsense and you can't fix it without changing the entire story.

I think the ending was kino as fuck and it explained the ever building statue of the second ED

Wait, they never truly went into the double personality with Diavolo

Trish went from an aloof background character who was mainly looked at as a tool for the different factions of the story to someone who could stand up for herself, make decisions and have a true friendship with the gang. She has the same struggle that ties them together and is one of the core themes of the story. She was doomed to face a terrible fate due to circumstances of her past she couldn't control, but didn't run from it, when she reached her lowest point, like the rest of the gang she was given a chance to face her fate and did. She gained her voice, grew in spirit, and helped defeat Diavolo, thereby defeating the dark fate she was given, not by running from it like Diavolo, but facing it like the gang does. Her character arc is complete.

He became a leader when Bruno passed the position and the arrow over to him, becomming a mob boss was not the important part of his arc.

Why the fuck would it matter what Trish does, the important part is that she is free to do what she wants.

I was going to do a ranking of all the parts so far, but I just love them all for different reasons.

>His goal is not his arc
Right before he gets the arrow Bucciarati almost literally passes him the torch. Giorno wins because he inherits Bucci's spirit.

niggas really think the ending would have been better if they showed trish going to school or getting married to mista or something. lmao.

Yeah, but that was what i said, why isn't Polnareff dead. I may have phrased that a bit weird. The stand cannot die while the user just continues on living. Silver Chariot Requiem dies and Polnareff doesn't. A stand isn't a separate entity of the user, so silver chariot requiem suddenly being separate is bullshit.

Okay, so Gold Experience Reqiuems power is to reverse any attack made on Giorno, with a secondary ability that forces fate to kill people in the most contrived way possible after they get MUDA'D, locking them in an eternal hell where they suffer an eternity of contrived deaths?

Did I get that right? Or did Diavolo get the eternal death treatment because his Crimson King somehow fucked reality up just before he died?

Especially after having basically destroyed not only the boss but the assassin squad of the gang. What is the rest of the gang going to do, say no and walk away jobless ? Fuck no. Would only have taken a minute or two to show Giorno declaring himself the new boss, having a few underlings be doubtful and discuss wether they're staying or not, some being impressed, some going away only to turn around and come back "what would I do anyway, it can't be helped" there done.

Will David animate Purple Haze Feedback? They animated the Rohan OVA.

>why isn't Polnareff dead
dudes a fucking ghost man. he IS dead

Polnareff had a good understanding of the gang, Brunos crew were high profile and killing the entire hitman team and the immortal boss and his entire elite squad is enough to not have the other members try anything.

the ending was fucking dogshit

>Will David animate a fanfic? They animated Araki's spinoff

>infinite deaths theoretically includes getting raped in prison

Attached: 1537172935562.gif (250x250, 76K)

We literally saw them kiss his ring youbare reaching so hard

how about a threesome between giorno, mista and trish?

And what does she do after defeating fate? She’s worked hard to have the freedom to control her own life, but we never what she’ll do with that freedom.
Gaining the loyalty of his squadmates was a step towards becoming a leader, but the ending abruptly cuts to Giorno having gained the loyalty of the entire gang.

King Crimson has no control over other people's fate. It has to be predicted by Epitaph first or else he can't do anything to them within the erased time.

>Becoming a mob boss is less difficult when you become a god level character
And him becoming an invincible god in the end is somehow a good solution to this mess?
> him getting the arrow was the difficult part, Diavolo knew about it before Giorno did.
Him getting the arrow was just a whole load of convoluted stumbling about and then he simply won. Just because you previously establish that X item will grant you victory does not excuse how shitty and lazy that decision is in the first place. And Diavolo did not know about the requiem arrow before because it was just literally made up on the spot cus Araki wrote himself into a corner.
>but you literally dont understand the theme.
I perfectly understand it and I say that it is a load of pretentious contradicting crap.

because Jotaro dies in part 6

>blah blah blzh

Summary and analysis of part 5 for all the retards out there: youtube.com/watch?v=jXPziHbmOEs

>Wtf Araki at the very least state it...
Congratulations user, all subtlety and symbolism has been removed from every fictional work in existence. Now you won't have to deal with any of that pesky thinking.

>youtubers

>Dad will be back from Morioh any day now...

Attached: PkGNTrq.jpg (922x1024, 92K)

Don't bother. For as pretentious and manga readers act, in the end they all just eat up whatever shit Araki drops into their mouth and brush off anyone who has any disagreements about it because "muh sekkrit club!"

my bad, it's not for retards

do we know when Jotaro and his wife divorced? because it could have been before part 4 even happened

cope

What are you bumbling about? Trish was completely fucking useless throughout. After some signs of actually becoming proactive in that plane fight, she got amnesia and just basically went back to being a brat sitting in the turtle for the rest of the part, and her little speech to Diavolo at the end is hardly even relevant at that point.

Only a retard would watch a jojotuber.

OH SAY CAN YOU SEE

In the end what does it matter? Did you enjoy the experience? Story, plot, themes, and filler is meant to be enjoyed whether or not they make sense. Why spend so much time trying to pick apart what you like?

>I'm a 15 year old mob boss

>Polnareff had a good understanding of the gang
Literal headcanon, Polnareff doesn't know shit and he's not in the gang.
>Brunos crew were high profile
Nope, they were lowly thugs under Polpo dealing with some restaurant business. The only sign of climbing ranks was when Bruno became capo but that doesn't matter anymore cus he got royally screwed over.
>killing the entire hitman team and the immortal boss and his entire elite squad is enough to not have the other members try anything.
Yeah, because the structure and inner relationships of Passione make no damn sense at all.

i get space jam flashbacks, so i say no

4 > 2 > 5 > 1 > 3

>Polnareff doesn't know shit
didn't he spend the last decade of his life researching Passione and trying to track down the boss?

>how people react to him taking over as boss
Since nobody knew who the boss was I assume Giorno just slipped into the role without anyone knowing.

7 > 8 > 5 > 4 > 6 > 2 > 3 > 1

Attached: 1542056870796.png (1280x720, 1.15M)

This but 8 > 7

I think diavolo is neither teleporting all over the place nor trapped in a pocket dimension nor already dead, I think GER just erases the events right after they happen. He's in the same reality as everyone else, but that reality is being rewritten continously

the gang is like the same age as giorno

The problem I have is that you can never have a reasonable discussion about Jojo because manga readers just shut their ears and call you an anime-only or say you didn't "understand" what happened. People complaining about something doesn't necessarily mean they didn't enjoy it. If anything I think it lends more to the idea that they did enjoy it that it makes them think about it so much and want to talk about it, good and bad. But in this fandom that's impossible because everybody just says you don't understand Araki's genius and you're a pleb. It's annoying.

He's not a turtle, he's IN the turtle (the key). Not quite as cool as being a turtle.

I didn't want to put it above 7 before it's finished but it probably is better

>MFW I REALIZE ROLLING STONES WAS AT THE VERY BEGINNING OF FIGHTING GOLD OPENING

rad stuff david productions

Attached: 1564269586692.png (525x588, 185K)

Where?

He just uncovered him (somehow) after ''investigating the gang'' and was promptly cut off from the rest of the world and ''killed''. How would any of his information be relevant to propel some rando kid to boss position from within? The gang had to know of him to isolate him like that, wouldn't that be suspicious as hell? It's actually not even worth discussing in the end cus the whole of Passione makes no sense.

Attached: buccci.png (849x480, 304K)

holy fuck their attention to detail is insane

oh fuck nice catch

I liked the last episode if only because it was a straightforward mista "fight" with a good trick and he's probably the best character

watchcartoononline.io

Like Kissanime but slightly less faggy about adblock

animepahe

I'm pretty sure that's Bruno.

Thanks guys

Mista shooting himself vs white album

wait till part 6 ends, it's a wonderful world.

>infinite deaths theoretically includes a finite death

Attached: 44e.jpg (235x145, 44K)

What happened to diavolo's infinite death scene. Would have been kino if they included it.

Attached: memeo.gif (600x450, 140K)

No matter what you might say about how good and happy the ending of this part was, there will always be the lingering subtext that Giorno did this to someone because of a personal desire to punish the boss for his crimes.

This isn't necessarily a bad thing, in fact I think it was intended for the question as to whether Giorno can really be trusted with so much power to be left in the air like that. He is still part Dio, after all. That doesn't make the ending bad, just a bit unsettling and creepy in my opinion. I still love it though.

BURNING DOWN THE HOUSE

I wish hollywood would do a capeshit movie about JoJo. I'm not talking about those cheap shit live-action that japan made.
I want a high budget movie that shows impressive stands fights.

You're asking for the impossible if you're not aware of the current state of the industry

NO
EP 38s Diavolo scenes were PERFECT, just perfect. Didn't need anything more.
The fact that it ends where it ends is perfect. He knows the fate but the cause is skipped. He knows he dies but doesn't know how and is scared of a little girl.

Literally perfect

If stands are the manifestations of the soul, what does [CHICKEN FINGERS] say about Avdol?

That's exactly the same answer someone would give me about Marvel & Dc superheroes movies at the earlies 00s

Well its not like he meant for the boss to suffer through an eternal deathloop. He didn't know what GER's abilities were when he MUDA'd Diavolo, and only realized on a gut feeling level after the deed had already been done. He probably won't use GER unless placed in a similar situation again, and even then he might warn opponents that taking a single Stand rush from his Stand in that form means eternal death. I'd love to see what the reaction to that would be.

>His power was weaponized fate, but he desired only the result and never reached the truth.
This. Most people failed to understand that the whole GW series is telling us that we're the soldier of fate. It seems like Araki was very deterministic person

>Hollywood JoJo
Ew, fuck no. Hollywood can't even adapt Dragon Ball properly, what makes you think they could possibly handle JoJo?

I had no idea Johnny was even in part 8 at all, after part 7 I assumed each part would be a self-contained story entirely.

He's a hot guy

Attached: 1463716859488.jpg (184x184, 4K)

For Jojo movie to be successful, it would have to have the right people directing it and a boatload of cash

She whipped out her 10000km futa penis and raped hum to death

You dumb speed-reader. Polnaref is basically Diavolo 2.0 to the turtle as Diavolo was to Doppio. He possessed his body and his soul resides within turtle stand, and since Polnaref kickass soul "weights" more than some stupid-ass turtle(even with a stand). He dominates poor animal from within it's own stand.
