ITT: art regression

Hey Yea Forums, can we get a art regression thread going?
In most cases, it does happen when an author switches from analog drawing to digital

Eren looks awful in the left panel

Here's one for Berserk

I don't agree. You can't even recognize that it's supposed to be Eren on the right panel

> spread vs small panel
Stupid comparison.

The fuck are you talking about, he looks nothing like Eren on the left unlike the right

The artist hasn't regressed. Both panels are just awful in different ways.

I think Oda's art style became generic over the years, it was at its peak during skypiea

get your eyes checked

The only problem on the right is the nose, on the left his entire face looks wrong

The women look all the same nowadays and look like dolls. I hate it because I actually digged his female designs once.

jesus, what happened?

Left is before Isayama thought out Bert's character, right is after.

I miss the old style so much. Hate what he did to the girls and especially to fucking Chopper.
I think he draws them like that because making them generic and cute makes it easier to sell merchandise crap and he's probably right, but it totally kills the characters.

his faces upgraded from "derp" to "slightly derp" though

Midoriya Inko?

Listen you little two-bit shit-for-brains loser. Don't say "you." Say "I." You are alone in this. Don't try and impress your dumbfuck perception onto others

Tosh

Yoy know that he meant berth being the colossus since the beginning? Just re read/rewatch Trost arc and you will find out how many ints he put in it about the true identities of both the colossus and the armored

I mean sure, but in the second one he clearly has a better idea of what he's doing. A lot less playing by ear so to say; better fundamentals and presumably drawn in a more timely fashion. Regardless the first one does looks cooler.

Right is better. The eyes have a crazy something about them.

Brainlet, SnK art improuved a lot since 2009

Abara had the best character art but Blame and Sidonia were both superior stories

the titan's have gotten a lot worse
they left their uncanny valley designs behind and turned into generic monsters

I will never accept the digital excuse there must be another reason.

His art about halfway through Sidonia was pretty good. Better human forms and faces, but still with the bold colour choices.

i can post unfair comparisons too

His faces in BLAME! aren't quite human, just like the characters.

2012 titan looks trash but has a better expression compared to the 2016 version

all faces look like they are photoshopped in. does he use a separate artist for faces (or bodies)

>Comparing spread to small panel
lol

don't be dumb. Isayama just learned consistency. it's a bad habit to spend too long on one page/spread. it'll just make the rest of the pages look like shit
compare the left to the rest of the pages in that chapter.

this

this was for this:

>Comparing a two page spread with a small
panel.
OP never held a pencil.
