Publisher may not see a reason to make another season since they already achieved their objective.

I really hope so, whole adaptation was kino, and SHAFT has a history of staying with relatively successful adaptations until the very end. I believe BD sales were pretty okay and it definitely boosted manga sales, so it's fairly likely I think.
