It's not just that. Overall Thunderbolt production is slightly different from main Pili works. You can really say, that they are trying to create puppetry anime. Including various anime tropes, or anime-like designs. For example, this one is is absolutely out of a traditional design that Pili uses for female characters with clear attempt make puppet moe character. For better comparison you can look on pictured.
Another thing, that Thunderbolt episodes are far shorter. Around half-hour usual for typical anime episodes. While War of Dragons will have nearly hour-long episodes.
So is question whether Yea Forums should allow puppet series as such. Thunderbolt is at least trying to be "puppet anime".
