Where can I watch Tenki?
I hear conflicting stuff about it. Some people prefer KNNW and some prefer Tenki. Some people think it's too derivative of KNNW and others say it's closer to Shinkai's earlier works. Some people didn't like the climax and others thought it saved the movie.

So far the only thing people seem to agree on is that KNNW idealized Tokyo as this sparkling beautiful place and Tenki shows its darker side.

Tenki was like watching Kimi again, only instead of a meteor it's rain. Grand Escape was the only insert song worth being in the movie. I vastly prefer Kimi and would put Tenki behind 5cm and Place Promised as well. Also, why the fuck was Taki animated so weirdly in Tenki?

Get rid of Radwimps score, it's boring. Bring back Kashiwa Daisuke or TENMON and keep Radwimps from insert songs.

But user, Shinkai writes all his movies. He publishes the script as a LN and when you read it you'll find loads of stuff that he couldn't fit in the movie, some of which are extraneous but others that answer potential plot holes
