Lord El-Melloi II Case Files - 04

She isn't going to breed by herself. Why didn't Waver just fuck her?

She should learn to tease his dick with her vagina, h-haha... get what I mean? Haha...

So Kayneths' fiance's brother has the pull to get Waver one of the Association's spots in the Grail War, but Waver can't pull those strings himself despite being a Lord?

A Reines route has about as much chance of occurring as an Ilya route. Too bad, Reines. Len is the only loli with that privilege.

He's being loaned the position of lord and he sucks as a magus, so he's an underdog in terms of power and position.

Waver's a loser at the bottom of the totem pole, which is also his favorite position with his nohomo kingfriend.

waver is literally just a lord in name, he has no real power or influence and is just holding the seat till Reines is in power.
It's like being a Lord Regent.

Good thing Waver never got to compete in the Fifth Holy Grail War. Something else would've gone wrong if he had.

Attached: fate add night 0.jpg (800x4500, 3.66M)

Waver didn't even want to boink teenagers when he was an actual teenager.

Flat is a miracle of the universe

Wasn't there a drama CD with him and young Taiga? I remember that Iskandar had to translate because of the language barrier (yeah turns out Waver never actually knew Japanese back in Zero, he was speaking English the whole time).

Grey's Shishou is adorable.

is it just me or is the fate stuff that isn't about holy grail wars as the focus the best fate stuff?

iirc Bram is the guy who managed to get Kayneth Iskandar's summoning relic, and then Diarmuid's too after Waver stole that. The El-Mellois just keep building debts to the Sophia-Ris.

The one to summon Saber would have been Shirou. That's why it's called "Fate". Just having a near-identical body isn't enough. It's not like Shirou summoned Archer.

>wanting your successor to have shitty mystic eyes and a wrecked magic crest

Attached: 1452111305411.png (477x530, 349K)

I know a risk of being targeted, but I really think that the world of Fate, its lore in general, is way larger and more interesting than people think, but there are not many cases to learn more about the topic, because people just want Holy Wars everywhere with new heroic spirits to do their DBZ fights.

I want them to do an anime original arc about the Church.

>Just having a near-identical body isn't enough
Gray has more than that. She's literally carrying around Saber's holy spear.

>It's not like Shirou summoned Archer.
1. Having the genuine Avalon that Arturia wielded was an extremely strong catalyst.
2. Rin had already summoned Archer.

Of course it is. The grail war concept was good for the original F/SN, but that's not the reason why it's a great VN.

Sisigou is cool desu

And Shirou's carrying around her sheath. Also, they're like-minded. It's stated repeatedly that Masters will generally summon Servants who are similar to themselves.

only without a catalyst or a weak catalyst. THat happened with Mordred and Medusa, not Saber

And her a facsimile of her beloved (it's not incestous) "big bro".

Attached: Kay HD.jpg (2622x1911, 1.5M)

Just an EX grade ponos

Was Waver similar to Iskander?

No not at all. He just the catalyst. He is similar to one of Iskander's soldiers though.

why the fuck does everyone have mystic eyes? this is fucking retarded

Yes, they're the reason Taiga ended up becoming an English teacher.

Attached: yhGxu81hIKwswj8t6tdKl-0Nc-qFTny-6Nzinon_NuY.jpg (997x500, 122K)

Reines is working actively to help Waver get a holy grail war spot?

She is a good master and imouto.

Holy FUCK, that young Taiga.

Attached: 1546755299699.png (875x720, 803K)

Why not house Grey with Reines?

I mean, he becomes like him given the cadre of freaks that eventually become his "students." Also, Alexander eventually had a falling out with his mentor, Artistotle, like how Waver got into conflict with Keyneth.

Baby tier mystic eyes (lol I see fairies) are common. Rare shit like Shiki's are not.

Waver has some influence now though, but it doesn't help that the HGW is something handled by Bram's department (and he is the heir to the Lordship there) and the Clock Tower would never sent a Lord again to a HGW after what happened.

>Why do high-ranking mage families have members with mystic eyes
Gee, i dunno

Attached: 1517757062509.png (540x368, 65K)

What does Reine's magical eyes do?

Mystic Eyes are not uncommon, what are rare are Jewel and Rainbow tier Mystic Eyes. That has been the lore since forever, mages can even create Charm and Paralysis Mystic Eyes with magecraft.

I think they sense mana and help her more accurately control it. They're actually pretty good.

Not yet really. He's slowly gaining it through his students' accolades and the cases he's doing. He's a bigger deal by the time of the grail dismantlement.

Prime gene donor material.

Only upper-tier magi have Mystic Eyes. Artificial Mystic Eyes are generally inferior. Mystic Eyes that fall under the Noble Color system (Gold, Jewel, Rainbow) are the rarest and most powerful.

What happens at the end of Case Files also gives him a big boost of morale.

Attached: 0f74af86c9177f3eddb3c6b17ecf3bc79d3d56c7.jpg (1225x955, 350K)

What did Adashino's speech in the sunna room mean?

The thing is that at the end of the day, Mystic Eyes are just a mutation in the circuits of the eyes.

Anyway, Fairy Eyes aren't really Mystic Eyes actually, they are like the Pure Eyes of the Nanaya. Something close but not exactly the same thing.

>He is similar to one of Iskander's soldiers though

how much, before the retcon saying that he was is Waver all along?

Does he ever summon Iskander again?

How is Grey all dressed in her normal cloth when she found out someone died?

Is she the murderer?

Being her she is probably involved in the mystery and they already decided what the official "solution" is going to be. We will probably understand next episode.

Oh shit is that a real T.H. White reference?

Arcueid, Vampire!Satsuki, Shiki, SHIKI, Roa, Nrvnqsr and Ciel all have Mystic Eyes.
Akihiko, Akiha, Hisui and Kohaku don't.
There are more named Tsukihime characters woth ME that those without.
They never have been rare

Waver could just be one oh Alex's generals.

Ahhh thanks user.

I'm pretty sure that Case Files says that Waver look alike is Eumenes of Cardia.

Pure Eyes are more common, but you can't get them artificially, and it's not really relevant here unless you get into the Mystic Eyes of Death Perception. Pure Eyes only allow you to "see", you can't affect anything with them.

Most vampires have Mystic Eyes of Enchantment. Vampires are an exception; they get Mystic Eyes automatically. When it comes to magi, Mystic Eyes are overall uncommon.

He's similar to Zhuge Liang tho

I mean after the shit she pulled in Adra I can see it that being the case.

>"Have sex"

Can explaing why load meloi is an virgin?

with Reines

Attached: 75823597_p0.jpg (1003x1416, 138K)

Think they're gonna be adapting HA next?

Emiya Shirou summoning King Arthur during the Fifth Heavens Feel should be treated as an inevitability.

He plays too many videogames, he doesn't have time for anything else

Nah, probably Proto.

ufotable showed some interest on doing it.

He dreams of Alexander's spear.
But really, I wish he could find a partner

Proto would be better if reimagined as a shojo series.

Strange/Fake or Fragments

SF isnt even finished so I doubt it

Carnival Phantasm 2

I'll fuck albinos saber

Nothing will ever be done with Fate/strange fake until it's completed.

BASED

That would be hella fun.

Take Moon didn't release enough chapters for that

Take Moon is over, man.

Not in Case Files.

Not him anyway. But he has a short reunion and is able to say to him he is not just is subject, he is his friend.

Also being able to do something kind of eases his feeling of lacking enough strength a bit.

The other El-Mellon novels as ovas/movies and other seasons

If they did movies and Narita committed to at least two volumes per year, it could be doable, but both are pretty much impossible.

I hope this does well enough for the to adapt the last two arcs.

Attached: 387173899e510fb3eb0e4d2bd733c895d0430cb7.jpg (1316x957, 583K)

another Nero show please!

Same energy

Isn't Narita sick?

Says the guy with a harem

The mango Carnival Phantasm is based on

I think he's better now. It had seem potentially really serious, but ended up being not so bad.

Why the fuck Bram and Reines behave like there's 1 Master spot left when it's actually 2? 3 for Matou, Tohsaka and Einzbern, 2 for Bazett and Atrum. We still have 2 for Shirou an Caster.

Attached: [HorribleSubs] Lord El-Melloi II Case Files - 04 [1080p].mkv_snapshot_06.03_[2019.07.28_02.17.08].jp (1920x1080, 656K)

Take Moon was the fancomic anthology series written and drawn by Takenashi Eri which Carnival Phantasm derived most of its material from. Also, at least in my opinion, the parts that Carnival Phantasm did adapt were adapted poorly, though they were still the best parts.

I am sad. It was the most enjoyable fate work.

lrn2 interpret subtext retard

Matou, Tohsaka and Einzebrn aren't Association representatives.

It's positions officially sanctioned by the Association. Others can go, but a Lord can't just up and leave, so he'd need to get leave for it.

Caster actually got the rights of another guy who was to summon an Assassin. Maybe he is already around with the mark.

>Q: Caster summoned Kojirou as an irregular Master, but was there a person who would have summoned Assassin as a regular Master (someone with the sign of the bruise)? Or was that Zouken?
>A: Caster found him before he could do the summoning...

>Yfw waver would become an actual el melloi if he marries Reines.
I don't even care if it was some bullshit political marriage.
>Yfw she still calls him aniue after
>Yfw she makes him impregnate her against his will for an heir

God I really wish the FGO scene with Waver and Alexander wasn't relegated to one of the shittiest Singularities

Well there was also the Waver vs Iskandar from the Zero event.

Yeah but that one's a given since the event was about Zero

This is why neo-Fate is trash. Shit revolves around selfish cunts doing their own thing disregarding everything and everyone else. At no point in time a mage was useful to the world and the humanity. If all the magii suddenly disappeared it'll only make the world a better place.

Attached: [HorribleSubs] Lord El-Melloi II Case Files - 04 [1080p].mkv_snapshot_04.16_[2019.07.28_01.19.23].jp (1920x1080, 315K)

>Mages being giant assholes
>neo-Fate

bro

Yeah what of it? There's still 7 spots total. Nobody really stopped Kayneth and it's not like you absolutely have to have Association backup or money (considering that Bazett received none of it).
>was there a person who would have summoned Assassin
Yeah and we know nothing about them beside throwaway lines from interviews and assumptions.

Kara no Kyoukai had a mage making an entire apartment complex with gruesome deaths were repeated every day.

Is Kara no Kyoukai "neo-Fate"?

F/SN didn't focus on mages at least. It was borderline a high school setting with kids playing with magic.

Yeah but as far we know, that person could be marked with the Command Spells already waiting for his chance to go to Fuyuki.

Is Waver really going to join the 5th holy grail war?

No. We fucking know he doesn't.

this backfires if he actually calls her bluff.

>neo-fate

The best Kara no Kyoukai chapters focused into mages though. And they were at their worst there.

Sure, but they don't know that and they never reference that person. And that's with Kirei receiving his CS years in advance.

For her PoV she wins either way.

>F/SN didn't focus on mages at least.
The entire plot and the source of all problems is focused on mages. More with the entire HF route. You are drunk user.

Kaytheth was sanctioned. That's what Waver wants to do.

They should know how many spots are left thanks to the overseer. He knows due to the spirit board.

He probably meant that it didn't focus on organizedagus society or something like that

Well, most of Fate's problems can be attributed to a shady priest and a certain King of Heroes.

jesus h christ...

Attached: [HorribleSubs] Lord El-Melloi II Case Files - 04 [1080p].mkv_snapshot_08.10_[2019.07.28_01.34.07].jp (1920x1080, 195K)

He's too old for that now. You age out of that stuff in classical Greece.

>Reines will never femdom you and call your dick small

Attached: cry jk.jpg (892x1076, 296K)

Did they all buy their cases from the same place?

Only in Fate route and a bit in UBW. And the actual real problems are due to the Einzberns and the whole ritual founders (like Zouken) in the first place.

They enable problems. The actual source of all problems is FSN are the First and the Third HGWs.

Don't bully the tower for buying suitcases in bulk.

Way to miss the point of magic lol

>implying that Kirei is good at his job
Besides, from how they described Glliasta, he didn't have CS before he bribed some authorities.

Crest is already like 40% rebuilt. And her eyes are actually EX tier she just can't control them properly yet.

Far, far better than a garbage line like Tohsaka.

Attached: 2620e74eacd83d84d5e562521052b63f.jpg (627x885, 193K)

> Mages are assholes
> neo

Attached: riveting news.png (240x240, 5K)

Yeah but he probably put a lot of money to buy the spot, given that Bram was thinking about ditching Bazett first.

Magi have been assholes since Nasu was in high school. Most of the premise of both the original Fate and Mahoyo lie in mages being assholes. You thought Touko wasn't an asshole? Touko's basically a serial killer by this point.

Yes.

Attached: fate add night 02.jpg (800x2700, 2.19M)

>think she's a big meanie
>all it takes are some Mystic Eye owies and I immediately feel sorry for her

Damn. I am easy.

Actually the future of Servant timelines is magecraft mixing with technology and bringing humanity to the next stage. All T-M stuff that happens in the future has insane shit like servants summoned by smartphone apps or Arc artificially created by humans.

Attached: 1556729700577.jpg (1200x1017, 1015K)

>her eyes
What do they do besides what we've already seen?

It's when girls who appear tough and independent but show those moments of weakness that they get you. Get you in the dick.

Attached: 1517533318070.jpg (293x423, 68K)

Allow her to control magic with inhuman precision.

Yeah, I've read the synopsis of Fate/Requiem and it all sounded extremely retarded.

Touko is just having fun.

Attached: 39948955_2164752100432575_1236780449003470848_o.jpg (2048x1495, 260K)

Touko uses mind control on herself to be less evil

What does mean though in practice

>EX tier
Dude, even Cybele is only A+ as far as Mystic Eyes go.

Fate has always been about dickass mages fucking everything up
>FOR THE ROOT!

Why, yes. I am a seafaring man. How could you tell? Be honest; the compass gave me away.

Attached: Columbus-Rider=of-Resistance-Stage3.png (512x724, 528K)

Do you have any idea how many people Touko murdered just in preparation to murder her sister?

smol head

requiem is an alternate history where people get servants in like the 1980s or 1990s

She can theoretically do a lot of the things Flat does

She mostly put them into a firdge to use their crests as flower wings, but I know yeah.

Attached: tq3shf1280.png (1120x960, 1.23M)

Short periods of Grand tier magecraft. Waver stated that her eyes alone will make her worthy of being a Lord when she masters them.

You are only saying this in hindsight but FSN was never focusing on the magecraft, mage organisations and internals. It also didn't focus on fucking shit up carelessly. Compared to Zero and beyond, it was very lighthearted and the whole thing seemed exactly how the Mage Association describes the HWG: some local meme ritual.

Better?

Attached: Columbus-Sprite-3.png (687x920, 487K)

How many actual people did she kill?
And by the way, magii aren't people.

It's more about her being able to be really precise with magecraft for a short while.

MAGA!!!

Attached: Edison-JVaVmeO.jpg (2100x2556, 1.41M)

This girl is wonderful she should have her own series.

That's their peak now yes, but theoretically they could allow magic beyond human level.

So how big Reins' dick>

>"Hey brother, wanna have sex and impregnate my fertile teenage womb?"
>"LOL, it was just a joke LMAO."

Please tell me he actually fucks her by the end of the story. She's begging for it hard.

Melon II is completely uninterested.

So far every epiisde has given a good boost to the stalker. It seems the japanese fans are liking it.

Attached: stalker28.png (895x652, 53K)

Guys, is Gray for cucking and having her watch?

reines is sex incarnated, what do you expect?

No, it's more likely she and Gray rape him before he even thinks about making a move.

No, sorry, could you explain it better and more slowly? I don't follow you

Attached: shiro_image2[1].jpg (114x80, 5K)

Nice. Seems like it's doing well.

Attached: IMG_9135.jpg (1694x1223, 197K)

Yeah, but can the Japanese fans turn Waver straight?

Attached: 1504039227856.png (800x800, 626K)

Nope, obviously

Attached: IMG_9139.jpg (1275x851, 64K)

Not if the doujins are in character.

Walking through the city with a magic T-1000 maid doll doesn't break the "hidden mystics" code?

Attached: [RH] Fate kaleid liner Prisma Illya 2wei Herz!.jpg (936x603, 104K)

The Mage's Association just likes bullying Bazett.

Trimmau probably has one of those subtle mind effects that make people don't notice she is there.

she looks like mechazawa, and mechazawa is a totally normal dude

Nope, I capped this while watching. She's so delicious.

Attached: [HorribleSubs] Lord El-Melloi II Case Files - 04 [720p].mkv_snapshot_05.21.507.png (1280x720, 1.82M)

Futa is canon in Fate.

Mechazawa is totally not a normal dude, regardless of how he may act. He's got a freaking robotic body for crying out loud.

Since it started airing it also gave a new boost to HF, so Aniplex should be pleased.

they cna is am aging to hdide an magic

What even indicates it's a normal restaurant and not some plaza under Association's control?

Everything Reines does is super erotic and probably why the anime is doing so well

Waver you HOMO!!!!

How old is Reines now? She looks 13-14.

She is a Lord. Rules are for peasants

16-17

Reines should be at least one year older than Gray (15 y.o)

>Far, far better than a garbage line like Tohsaka.
Big talk from a magus who doesn't even have a sealing designation-tier boytoy who can be used to create her own personal mystic code for infinite mana. Has her line ever produced a magus with True Magic-user approved prospects of reaching the Root?

Attached: [UTW]_Fate_stay_night_Unlimited_Blade_Works_-_02_[BD][h264-1080p][FLAC][2908684B].mkv_snapshot_07.48 (1058x1080, 98K)

Waver is literally gay

Now you realize that he lives only for Conqueror dick?

Not at all. Makes me a little sad that Reines probably wouldn't keep any servants that weren't magical constructs, though.

These guys know the truth.

Attached: 1558767289583.jpg (546x366, 47K)

well, since all presidents are inside Leon-Edison, technically Trump is in fate too

user are you okay?

But the El-Melloi's Crest is still better than the Tohsaka's though..? (especially when the El-Melloi lineage is older than the Tohsaka). Sakura's and Rin's Magic Circuits having super good quality and quantity is all because of Aoi's magic womb, not even because of Tokiomi. Though as far as i know, Rin is surely a better magus than Reines.

George Washington servant when?

The Tohsaka line stole half of the Edelfelt crest after the third war. This is why the Tohsaka can use Finnish curses and gem magecraft so well iirc

Attached: Fate.strange.fake.600.2300833.jpg (600x486, 51K)

Rin has excellent potential, but lacks history. All her Crest really seems to do is let her freely use Gandr and forcibly keep her alive when she's on the verge of death. In fact, it doesn't really seem to do much at all. The only value that Rin seems to see in it is sentimental (though that alone makes it priceless to her). Using it up to create a permanent link to Shirou in the UBW route probably wasn't a major loss, objectively speaking. No, if anything, she has a contract with a spellcaster who can deploy a Reality Marble, with an infinite number of Noble Phantasms. That's probably well worth the price of losing what basically amounts to a gun/emergency life support. Most of Rin's greatest feats of thaumaturgy happened without the use of her crest at all.

She's forever loli because her body was fucked during the crest transplant.

Why is a finish noble mercenary called luviagelita? That's a lot lile lluvia gelida, cold rain in spanish, right?
So why a fin has a spanish name

>Rin is surely a better magus than Reines.

Rin would get fucked in a fight with old gimped Kirei. Reines defeated Kiritsugu in FGO.

Nasu doesn't give a fuck

That episode went by way too quickly, fuck. I need more Reines.

The laws of Gundam/Macross names.

Skill in combat does not equate to skill as a magus. Did you forget that Rin is an Average One? That already gives her amazing potential. Her Sorcery Trait alone makes her exceptional.

You and the entirety of Nasu fandom

The doujin artists are probably furiously at work rn

Does Adashino have a thing for Waver?

No, they are enemies

She likes to play with him and fuck him over. It's like a snake playing with prey.

Does that ever matter?

Remember that Gandr is a weak spell that causes illness in a target. Using it like a bullet is already exceptional. Also, the Tohsakas specialize in the storage of magical energy. The fact that they can create gems with enough raw power to rival Caster's spells and basically bring a person back to life is pretty impressive.

Beside, Rin, as a magus, prioritizes logically achieving her goals and the Grail War was full of situations where being stingy would only have ended her line for good.

El-Melloi are not combat magi either. They are far better at research.

Yeah, but Rin could probably find a way to do that stuff even without her crest. That's why I'm saying that the crest doesn't have much material worth. In fact, I doubt there's anything that the crest could do that Rin wouldn't figure out how to do on her own. She could probably more than make up for the lost 200 years of history. It's just a shame that she lost the extra circuits that came with it, but even without it she was able to supply Shirou with enough mana to form his Reality Marble.

Kayneth would have probably beaten any of the Masters that weren't Kiritsugu. He was good at combat, it's just that Kiritsugu had the perfect Mystic Code to fuck him over.

Kayneth was trash at combat he just had one mystic code great at combat.

The Edelfelts can do finnshot too (hell it's called the finnshot *because* they came up with it).
Luvia can do it from both hands even, and different from Rin, she isn't legally blind (like, seriously, despite firing at machine gun-like fire rates, Rin manages to miss a cornered Shirou from 5 feet or so in fate. It's crazy)

Nope she doesn't, but she is truly a snake.

The point is that Rin is hyper-competent, which means that she can't be used to accurately gauge how useful her crest is. Also, the kinds of genes that can outperform hundreds of years of history are more desirable than the broken remains of a house that couldn't even reach the Grail.

Then again, Waver couldn't either, so maybe they should lick each other's wounds and pop out another failure who's more suited to politics than magecraft.

>Out of all of Kayneth’s armaments, it has the greatest capacity for physical destruction. He had prepared many other mystic codes designed for battles with curses and conjurations, but the vast majority of them were lost when his hotel was blown up by Kiritsugu.

He had more combat tricks prepated, Kiritsugu just blew all of them along the building.

Rin didn't actually want to kill Shirou.

If Waver had gotten into the Fifth War, I wonder how things would have gotten. At the very least, with his luck, I'm almost certain that he wouldn't have summoned Iskandar. Like a freak accident or something would have gotten in the way of the summoning and he would have summoned someone else.

We can probably assume that unless all seven spots are filled beforehand, Shirou will almost definitely summon King Arthur.

Does Reines always act like a teasing mistress whenever she's with Waver? Or does she show moments of weakness from time to time and tries to get him to dote on her like an older brother should?

Attached: 1517533966467.png (600x642, 184K)

Maybe he could summon Kay as Lancer.

Would he auto-summon Artoria if Gray is with him? Or will the summoning of Artoria cause her to eventually possess Gray?

She's always teasing him maliciously. The only one she seems to show weakness to is Gray.

Well it's "Fate". A running theme is that Saber fate is tied to Shirou. As long as he's a Master candidate, he'll almost definitely summon her. Their meeting is practically preordained.

>Waver makes it in
>summons Iskander again like he wants
>bros it up with Lancer
>fucks up Assassin and Caster
>bullies Saber
>War begins to come to a close
>surprise Gilgamesh
>"I'll show you the end of your dream as many times as you'd like."

>Would he auto-summon Artoria if Gray is with him?
He wouldn't use Gray as the catalyst, so i don't think so
>will the summoning of Artoria cause her to eventually possess Gray?
At the point of the 5th HGW, no since Gray's forced transformation into Artoria's body hasn't been completed yet

You're completely delusional if you think things would go that smoothly for him. The fact of the matter is the Fifth War is an even bigger clusterfuck than the Fourth. It wouldn't be shocking if he ended up losing his life.

Imagine if he summoned a Rider, but it’s Sima Yi
Wouldn’t that be something

He totally loves the fairy girl and that's tied to the whole problem right?

Attached: Your head.gif (300x200, 55K)

Or maybe Rider Kay. Kay had a magical horse iirc (pretty sure most knights of the round have a magical horse in some tale)

It's funny because Waver would have went for the Fifth War he would have never solved the Heartless thing and that would have been a huge problem for all the magical world as a whole.

So in a way, things went better the way they did.

Gray is not a catalyst for King Arthur. Rhongomyniad would be, but I am not sure how effective of a catalyst it would really be when Artoria can only be summoned as a Saber when you don't have Incineration of Humanity or joke events going on.

>Or will the summoning of Artoria cause her to eventually possess Gray?
It's more likely that would see a Saber vs. Saberface battle.

Gray's no match for Saber. Even with her body and dragon reactor, she could never beat Saber.

Touko also burns Siegfried's catalyst so Atrum never used it as he intended, making the way clear for Shirou to summon Saber. You can even say its the counter force at play.

What is Heartless even trying to do? All I know is that he's apparently Marisbury's pawn.

Look at the people around. That place is clocktower turf.

Turn faker into iskandar, use the connection to the fairy world to deify iskandar, have humans granted AoG tier magic directly from a god again

Waver is gay. I believe it. No man would be able to keep resisting a semen demon like Reines, otherwise.

Either her or the girl that just got killed.

Marisbury had him investigate the HGW but found that it was useless for him. Heartless on the other hand found the info very useful for his own idea.

He is basically going to create an idol god and change magic forever making Modern Magecraft go AoG, regardless of the problems that could cause for everyone. He doesn't care about that either.

To create a god who serves as a link between the AoG and the AoM and turn modern magecraft into AoG magecraft through correlation and symbolism.

Yeah. Every normal guy would be mating pressing her 5 seconds later.

guys i just want to talk a minute about the ED song and its visuals, because it is triggering the void feeling in me every time i hear it, i love it but at the same time it fills me with despair, like, no bullshit i think if i had watched this anime back when i was a normie it wouldve redpilled me on anime just like elfen lied's OP did

some one pls link me an hq mp3 of the song!

It has to be the fairy, he rejected the tan girl.

He's a rare breed.

We see Waver here and there and various stories trying his best. In FGO he gets some closure with Iskandar, and realizes that he can stand by his side now. Fate/Zero had an event a few years ago written by Urobutchi about what if Waver was able to redo the grail war using the future knowledge. In the end he found a few answers at least. It was one of the first fairly well written stories in FGO. Case Files also gives him a different sort of closure at the end.

In SF Flat wants to take part in a grail war, and Waver almost gives Flat his catalyst for Iskandar.

One or two things always seems to go a bit wrong with him and Iskandar meeting up ever since Zero. Like he meets Iskandar again, but it turns out to be the kid version of Iskandar in one instance. Or he tries to summon Iskandar and gets Faker instead.

I think he was also one of the Masters in Fate/Apoc, who was drugged at the very start and didn't end up accomplishing anything. Its not quite clear which servant he summoned I think. Chances are it wasn't who he wanted though.

Gray is an expert in exorcising all manner of spirits due to her former office as a grave keeper, and her FGO profile notes that the techniques she knows also work against Heroic Spirits. If she has the same physical parameters as Artoria plus Rhongo plus these techniques, she has a real chance of winning if the battle takes place under favorable circumstances.

You can really tell where Waver's priorities lie. When Reines mentions having children or sex, Waver's only exasperated or surprised. When she comments on the shit quality of his circuits, only then does he blush.

There's a bunch of reasons that could have been for, not all of which are necessarily related to whether he likes her or not - but I do think the fairy is more likely.

What's the downside of this plan? If Mystery is in decline and it needs to be renewed by a new tradition, wouldn't this solve the problem?

This is a 12 years old's budding body. You may not like it, but this what peak female body looks like.

Bro, we know how that fifth war turned out already.

He wasn't a master in Apo, the war is going and Lion is happily chatting it up with El Melon on the phone.

Women love to tease gay men because they know they won't do anything

Experience, training, technique. She can't make up for those things. Saber would demolish her with her superior skills. She's a top-class Servant. She wouldn't lose to a little girl with a scythe. There's also Saber's Mana Burst A, Instinct A and Spell Resistance A. Mana Burst is a technique, one that Gray doesn't know, so she could never keep up with Saber in terms of speed or power.

Also, she can't use Rhongomyniad's full power. Rhongomyniad has thirteen seals, and its form as an A++ Anti-Fortress Noble Phantasm can only be unleashed if at least seven of those seals are undone. Gray can't undo those seals, so she can only display a fraction of its power. You'd be insane to think that just having the same body and mana reactor as Saber would allow you to go toe-to-toe with her. At full strength, she can trade blows with Heracles.

I mean, if Saber got BTFO by a highschool teacher...

Reliance on a deity. Humans stop being slaves of the gods for a reason.

Gray isn't really servant tier. She isn't even mediocre DA tier according to Fate/Labyrinth. She's more like a walking nuke, she has some above human abilities but none of them are going to mean shit to a servant, except for the only real thing that she has which is Rhongo.

In a practical level that the end result could potentially create such a chaos that would lead into whole new bigger problem. In a idealistic level that Modern Magecraft should look to the future and find a way to reconcile the modern world with magic, instead of just looking into the past for an answer.

Also that using Iskandar always rubs Waver the wrong way.

>Waver enters HGW
>use Gray as the master of a servant because she has decent circuits compared to Waver
>Rhongobongo acts as a stronger catalyst than a frayed piece of Iskandar's cape
>summon either one of the weird alternative Artorias or a knight of the Round Table
>Shirou summons Artoria anyway because it's fate
>team up with Shirou and probably Rin since Waver will quickly realize the Grail is totally fucked
>Gray gets dragon mana reactor due to Artoria's presence and can allow her servant to spam their NP endlessly
>Waver will probably realize there's some weird conceptual fuckery going on with Shirou after he gets himself cut in half the first time and finds Avalon
>invincible Artoria + weak Rhongobongo using Gray + Gray's servant + sword autist + Archer Emiya teamup

Could this be a winning strategy? Gil would probably blow a gasket seeing Gray and call her a faker but Avalon-equipped Saber is already a threat to him and the others should be a pretty strong bonus

>>summon either one of the weird alternative Artorias or a knight of the Round Table

what if she summons mordred

their faces when you whip it out

Rhongomyniad Saber can only be summoned in the Grand Orders. She's a "what-if" possibility.

Then Gray would probably summon one of her knights or Mordred (who got killed by it)

Is poise a bad thing?

>In a idealistic level that Modern Magecraft should look to the future and find a way to reconcile the modern world with magic, instead of just looking into the past for an answer.

This makes a great deal of sense, although is it discussed in the later volumes what would serve as the basis for this reconciliation other than the obvious possible answer of technology? I somehow doubt that a magical tradition based on things like indistinct New Age angels or internet memes would be particularly powerful, enduring, or capable of making a path to the Root.

Old enough to bleed, old enough to breed, and also possibly do a murder investigation

There is no winning in a grail war. And last time Waver took part in the fuyuki war the first thing he did was destroy the leylines or something in a way that would eventually bankrupt Rin's family. He said it would be a good test for her later on, and he'd rather she not be able to use the leylines freely. He might do the same in this situation. He's quite familiar with Fuyuki after ten years and knows all the ins and outs even better than Rin probably.

He'd make alliances perhaps but he fucking hates Rin, so he's not going that route if he can help it. It depends as well on who he summons. Plus he'd mostly find Shirou annoying in a different way, but maybe the type he can use. Best you can say is that the connection Gray has with Kay might allow them to reach an impasse and work together.

He has no real hope against Kotomine or Ilya, so he'd probably need some assistance. But he could always just call in a work friend to help him out a bit here.

They can't really be using those stupid hats to sleep, right?

Makes me want to see Mordred again

Well, by "winning" I mean surviving until the end and avoiding a disaster like Gil gaining the Grail.

Obviously he'd prefer to dismantle it after learning about Manjew, but I assume he wouldn't be able to do it in the middle of an ongoing HGW.
>but he fucking hates Rin
He dislikes the Japanese but that's not any real hatred, just bad experiences from the 4th war. I doubt he'd let that get in the way of anything once the shit hits the fan.
Yeah, he wouldn't like Shirou but he's the master of one of the most powerful servants in the war and very likely to be friendly. Their goals would even align in with Waver wanting to dismantle the Grail, protect innocents and keep the Mystics hidden and Shirou wanting to save people.
>He has no real hope against Kotomine or Ilya
Alone, yeah not really. Gray's Rhongomyniad is still A+ rank even with the seals on so she might be able to shave a couple lives off of Herc but that's it. Kotomine himself is past his peak and Cu can be dealt with but Gil is obviously the final boss and doesn't require Kirei for sustenance really.
Depends on what servant he'd get I guess. If he summons Iskandar I doubt his chances.

It's working as intended

Kotomine would outwit Waver and stab him in the back when he least expects it.

That's goddamn cute.

I'm pretty sure he's aware he was a master in the 4th and thus wouldn't trust him

He just doesn't like Japanese.

>The custodian (sponsor) of Rin after she went to study in London. The condition being "I will not give you one ounce of instruction. Eh well, I will at least send letters of recommendation to the other departments".

>And so, while being internally excited, he tried to bring this up to the complete game dunce Rin,

>Only to be given an instant answer from Rin that not only did she have no interest in Akihabara, but she had no interest in even Nihonbashi.
>And so he got pissed off instead.
>"Fuck! You're the worst Japanese in the world."

In particular he hates Rin as the worst Japanese of all. Its supposed to be ironic because despite hating japan, he likes their video games.

Cute siblings desu, I wish they were nicer to each other. In bed. If you get my drift.

Yes, but that's obviously written humorously and it's not exactly a blood feud or anything.

Volumen is strong as fuck and Grey is pretty much a demi servant. Even if necro-kun didn't show up they would be fine.

How would Mordred react towards Grey?

Evil Spirits/Wraiths vs Gray, like, they never really had a chance

"Brother! As much as you hated Camelot, it would not have existed without your shrewd planning. As much as they annoyed you, its knights wouldn't have been so well-equipped without your keen eye. And for all your bellyaching as to how they interfered with drink and pleasurable company, the political negotiations you performed so masterfully were crucial to our Golden Age. No one except Bazett trusted him. Does change how he keeps playing everyone.

Morgan or Okita? Mordred calls Okita "Mother" in Koha Ace for some reason

Attached: 1321561474154141145.jpg (1280x1779, 465K)

Waver's only chance at surviving the Grail War is if he teams up with Shirou or Rin, preferably both.

He's a true gentleman that would never taint the legacy of a lady with his pathetic magic circuit. Breeding is like buying shares for those mages - it's a long-term investment, and what she offered to him equates to throwing away billions on shitty stock just because you like the company name. Waver is a better man to allow himself to be complicit in this foolishness.

Morgan. Mostly because the idea of someone this vainly feminine having body hair trouble amuses me.

I think Mordred kinda stopped doing that though I never understood how Okita is mother while everyone else is father

This show fits in the same timeline as Stay Night, right? As in, it isn't a "what if?" like Apocrypha and Extra?

What would happen if a dream manipulator showed Mordred a lewd dream of Saber?

I wish that Svin had a non-anime character portrait like Flat. Wanted to make one of those parody visual novel sequences where his attempt to summon Iskander for Waver (who didn't trust Flat, didn't want to risk Gray summoning Artoria, and wanted to be in a position to protect his students without compromising their Servant) only to wind up summoning the superficially similar Romulus instead.

>>expected Waver was gonna save them
Waver's the lowest of the low tier for mages, he's not gonna be saving anyone unless he can talk the bad guys down.

Oh shut up Mordred you were a literal saberface for years

Yes. The FSN Grail War is only a vouple months away.

The two people in the photos that Reines held in this episode were the original Masters for Lancer and Caster. Caster killed her Master then went to find Souichirou, while Kotomine killed Lancer's Master then stole her command seals and control of Lancer.

Team Daddy issues was the only good thing in Apo. Prove me wrong.
Protip: You can't.

That's the thing; none of the alt world stories are "what ifs". They're just branched paths, just like UBW and HF.

If you say "Does this take place after FSN" then what time-line are you talking about? FSN had over forthy different time-lines in it, with the main three being Fate, UBW, and HF. Which one is the canon one to you that counts as FSN, and which are the two fake "what if" worlds? You can say Case files is a world-line where Fate/Zero happened as it did in the anime, and a version of the fifth war will occur.

All that matters in TM is "When did the world's course change". In Extra the time-line shifted during the 1970's, and in Apoc it shifted sometime around the 80's I believe. There are clusters of time-lines where similar events happened, and slightly different events occurred. There's no canon path, there's no mainline route.

You're supposed to. Problem is, he never got any and thus never graduated past it.

Waver can't use any offensive magic at all?

I really do not get the President Shit in FGO. Like the fucked up saint graph made it so every president is Edison? On top of that Hoover is an Assassin but is a cross dresser.

Give me Teddy Roosevelt Rider already

Emiya is pretty bro when Shirou's not around, in Extra and GO.

I'm asking if it's possible for this story to take place in the same timeline as Zero, and either Fate, Unlimited Blade Works, or Heaven's Feel.

There have been enough awful spinoffs that if they aren't making the effort to fit it into the "main" timeline, whatever that may be, I don't trust them to put in the effort to make it half-decent.

Gareth is best.

Attached: Gareth.png (1024x1792, 733K)

So what is going to happen to Gray at the end, is she going to become Artoria?

He can probably do like a basic bitch fireball. I think the most we've seen him do on screen is hypnotize that old couple in Zero so they thought he was their grandson, and that didn't even last through the whole series it wore off without him realizing.

Case Files is word of god confirmed to be the same exact timeline as FSN yeah.

The final volume in the LNs happens on the same night that Shirou summons Saber. As a result of the summoning Gray's hair starts turning blonde and she gets a dragon-core mana generator in her body like Saber has, so she generates mana just by breathing.

That's the latest status we have on her. And now that the LNs are over it's probably the latest we'll know on her for a long time.

That must be awkward when Shirou and Rin attend Clock Tower then

All that happened is that the presidents realized that the Irish were fucking up America so they got together and created a mystic code that would reinforce the concept of whatever they placed it on. They placed it on the most famous American hero they could think of, since "Famous + more concept power = super fame boost" which turned Edison into a living caricature of everything he invented. His head is the MGM lion, his torso is a projector, he has film reels on his back, he is literally just a giant combination of shit that he made since his concept power was increased too much. And ironically its hard to say that it really powered him up much at all. Not because they were weak, but because he wasn't exactly the best choice. Even with EX stats its hard to say its a direct power up since he was never a fighter in life, and Summer1 event shows that he still has low stamina despite having EX. His EX stamina only lets him stay up for days or weeks without rest working. All it did was turn Edison into a living comic of himself.

Hoover was always a crossdresser, even in real life. That's why he was a paranoid fuck who got dirt on everyone else so they couldn't ever rat on him. Although in FGO seems they just made him a women since it was easier, as far as we know.

She'll never become Altria. Altria will never be summoned again.

The LNs are finished? That's a shame, I wanted to know what happens with her. Does she stay with Waver?

user, that's banter hate. At worst its, "the friend everyone in the group makes fun of" hate.

Yet again FSN isn't "a time-line", its a cluster of similar time-lines where each choice Shirou makes creates a new time-line. Case Files takes place in a world with the fourth and fifth war but all the details are unknown aside from that.

And yet again you still have no idea how this works. No there's no main time-line, yes the alt time-lines are all real, canon, and do count. An Apoc character literally showed up in this episode. There's literally no difference between Apoc and Fate route, compared to UBW and HF route. They're both just parallel of each other.

B-bros...will we ever see this based man ever again?

Attached: 411full.jpg (411x702, 83K)

Yeah she does. She has a cameo in Fate/Strange Fake which is set in the early 2010s, but the narration doesn't describe what she looks like beyond "around twenty years old."

Attached: 1563759056348.jpg (1340x623, 102K)

Butt she's 18 just small.

Since they're all modern day figures, the Presidents of the USA wouldn't be able to do much in a HGW. Washington even tries to fight Queen Medb, but is killed early in the American Singularity. So they pooled all their power and gave it to Edison, perhaps one of the most famous Americans in history (he's in Japan's Top 10) with a strong, pervasive effect on even the modern day (General Electric is still kicking around, Hollywood continues to spite him from California, Tesla nemesis memes, etc.) to battle the Celts.

Hoover's a parody of the typical genderbending antics of Type-Moon and exists in a FGO gag comic, but he's still as devious and ruthless as you'd expect.

Dude stop being pedantic. You know what he's asking, and the answer to his question is yes and you know it's yes. You're just being autistic about it.

are there any stories of Counter Guardians killing mages? Watching KnK made me wonder how strong are they.

He died in the 90's I think

Waver likes big breasts. Big, manly breasts.

He's a third generation mage. He's lucky he can do anything. You know how Shirou's a garbage mage (not including sword autsim) because he has no magical crest and mediocre circuits? That's Waver.

>hoover
>president
he's a fucking mob boss retarf

That's nice to know. Thanks, I really have to read Strange Fake.

Last Encore ruined him.

Things getting serious in the last act with Nobu sacrificing herself because she thinks Okita has the best chance to defeat Maxwell's Demons would be kino

>Since they're all modern day figures, the Presidents of the USA wouldn't be able to do much in a HGW. Washington even tries to fight Queen Medb, but is killed early in the American Singularity.
Nothing ever said they were weak, just look at Tesla. And it was Cu Alter that killed Washington. Its just that the Presidents put more faith into powering up one guy, than they did with summoning themselves again to try to fight Cu Alter again. Even Rama couldn't beat Cu Alter, and Rama is stronger than Karna.

Evil Cat went so full retard they had to give her an interlude in FGO to fix her.

They're as strong as they need to be in order to complete the misison. If their mission was trying to quell primate murder then they're given virtually limitless power by Alaya. If their mission is to kill a single living human, then they're strong enough to kill one person. Alaya gives them exactly as much power as they need, and not any more.

>You finally made it Sakura~

(violent) Friendship Beam!

Attached: American Beams.jpg (800x782, 446K)

The events of Case Files happen before the 5th HGW, which means FSN timeline hasn't been divided into many different branches yet.

We're not talking about in-universe mechanics, we're talking about the franchise.

Yes, they're all timelines that are possible. But something like Last Encore is never going to be as significant to the series as something like Zero, so they don't need to make sure they do it well.

So, from a business perspective, there is very much a "main timeline", or at least a set of three, with one for each route in Stay Night. And if they don't have to take it seriously because it doesn't need to fit into a main timeline, my experience has been that it tends to turn out pretty shit.

>Since they're all modern day figures, the Presidents of the USA wouldn't be able to do much in a HGW
Li Shuwen is from the fucking 20th century and us a reasonably strong servant. Marie Antoinette, an d'Eon are portrayed as relatively competent servants. There's no excuse.

This is the ultimate Holy Grail War:
>Saber: Beni-enma
>Archer: Emiya
>Lancer: Cu Chulainn
>Rider: Boudica
>Caster: Tamamo-no-Mae
>Assassin: Ryougi Shiki
>Berserker: Minamoto-no-Raikou

Prove me wrong.

Mixing random shit together and going for the excess is a very American thing to do though.

Yes, that's just the headcanon excuse that people try to pawn off to explain it to themselves. It wasn't actually said that's the reason they powered up Cu Alter. They never said the presidents were all weak. Just that they thought this was a more sure path.

Okita is the best saberface she actually won a holy grail

Ironic how you say mages were at their worst in Kara no Kyoukai, yet Touko, one of the absolute worst and immoral mages to exist in the Fateverse is at her best there.

>Prove me wrong
There's no Ruler

sooo are there any stories?

best squid pee node?

There aren't any Rulers who can keep up with them.

Peak Touko is in Mahoyo. She is even weaker than Azaka by the time of KnK but she can still create a lot of bullshit things.

There's a first time for everything

Tomoe escaping Ogawa and running into Shiki was the Counter-Force at work iirc

Did he though? Even in this timeline? Or the strange/fake one?

This isn't a game. It's a war. Well, then again, a competition like this definitely needs a judge. But who among the Rulers has the tongue for it?

Fate/Zero event in FGO. Its not much to speak of though, since Kiritsugu(counter guardian) was only sent down with about a servant's level of energy in order to kill Irisviel. Because he only had as much strength as the situation allowed he kept being outsmarted by Waver, who prevented him from killing her.

Its hard to show much with CG's in TM stories so far since they're all just nameless heroes mostly, the only notable one is EMIYA. And we see EMIYA's CG duties in the UBW anime, with him burning down thousands of people in different ages. Aside from that, there's a few other CG"s to date. Okita is a CG in one time-line who was created for a single purpose to stop some grail bomb nuke from going off.

I don't think mages can really deal with CG's though. If the world wants you dead, you're dead.

We can assume that his underlying motives don't change from time-line to time-line as long as what occurs between the 70's through 90's doesn't change much. Which means that he still goes from war to war, from hellscape to hellscape, trying to find an answer to his life and the meaning behind war. I'd say as long as that factor doesn't change, then just like Shirou, Twice is destined for an early grave either way.

In fact Twice is basically just Shirou who arrived at the opposite answer if you think about it.

>In one timeline, defeat Avenger 1v1
>In another timeline, defeat Caster 1v1, then provide enough mana to fuel two simultaneous Noble Phantasms while continuing to do your own thing

If they hadn't ended the war,s what are the chances Rin gets summoned for a war in the future?

probably less that an individual CG gets powered up to insane levels and more that it picks stronger CGs for the situation
there are potentially people on Saber's level who have given up their history like she wanted to

If there's ever a grail war that can threaten the world in some way, a ruler will be summoned to compensate. As long as the grail war is recognized as real. FS war its said that a Ruler can be summoned if the grail reaches a certain point and the grail evolves enough that the war is considered real, but by then it might be too late.

Rulers have command seals that can command any servant, menaing that power doesn't matter against them. And in Extella/Links we have a Ruler class servant who was stronger than Scath, Gilgamesh, Karna, and most of the top servants. Ruler servants can't be underestimated, they're anti-servant.

Well, they get fucktons of mana at least.
Dark Sakura's sheer amout of mana os compared to a Counter Guardian's, on HF

>summon Mordred
>she stabs Gray on the spot because she looks like muh chichiue

What I mean is in terms of morality, not power. Touko is basically a power-hungry psychopath who exudes the worst of the immorality that mages show in every other medium that she appears, yet in Kara no Kyoukai, she keeps legitimate friendships with Shiki, Mikiya and mentors Azaka without any ulterior motives.

Don't forget TOHSAKA.

Attached: TOHSAKA.png (1031x1439, 1.54M)

All those Servants are ones who are good at cooking. There's no Ruler who's good at cooking.

I could definitely find a saint who cooks.
What about saint Mary, or Martha?

Jannu can cook human flesh with La Pucelle. Too bad it's her own flesh

Add/Kay/Rhong: Gaheris? Is that you? Nah, I'm kidding...people actually liked Gaheris. Seriously though. Behave yourself unless you want to get impaled by me again. What was that? Like a twenty-second fight?

Attached: cocky add.png (1366x648, 650K)

Martha's cooking is only good for surviving. She grabs anything that looks edible, mashes it all together and shoves them down your throat.

>In fact Twice is basically just Shirou who arrived at the opposite answer if you think about it.
You put it into words perfectly. He's my favorite Nasuverse "villain" for a reason.

>Twice is basically just Shirou who arrived at the opposite answer if you think about it.
But that's Kirei.

>Li Shuwen is from the fucking 20th century and us a reasonably strong servant.
Is he really though? Let's look at the 4th War and consider which Servants he could actually defeat assuming he was summoned as a Lancer with both Sphere Boundary and No Second Strike. Loses against: Artoria, Diarmuid, Gilgamesh, Hundred Face, Iskandar. Wins against: Lancelot and maybe Gilles.

>Marie Antoinette, and d'Eon are portrayed as relatively competent servants.
Their portrayal in FGO is always as part of a team in a supporting role, not as a lone champion in a battle royale. There is no normal Grail War where you would not be totally screwed if your Servant was Marie or D'Eon.

>Last Encore just made him look like a huge edgelord crybaby

Being a servant has way more to do with legend than it does with power. Even weaklings in life can become servants if they have a big enough legend.

Rin wasn't anything special in terms of power or ability, even in Clock tower she found people just as strong or stronger than herself, such as Luvia. But the overall problem is that she'll never have a legend, and its basically impossible to reach the same kinda legend status in the modern day. No one will actually believe you're larger than life, no one will believe that you're super human, no one will believe in things the same way. People are jaded fucks now, ever since the information age happened. Previously all you had to do to be a hero was wrestle a lion. And now even if you saved the world it would be doubtufl that's enough. For certain reasons its just hard to be a heroic spirit in the current age.

Its hard to be a heroic spirit in the current age on your own, using only your own ability at least. But there are a few other choices, for example if you get possessed by a heroic spirit from the past you can become a hero.

Am I the only one who think Reines posture is so lewd?

Aoko has some entity in a red burqa following her around in Mahoyo. She herself doesn't know what it is, but it's almost certainly a Counter Guardian that's ready to kill her if she steps out of line with the Fifth Magic.

Nobu even kills him easily in KOHA-Ace by exploiting a loophole in his Skills.

Attached: Nobu's Sacrifice.jpg (1051x1381, 252K)

I'm not up to date on all the inner workings of the Fate series, would it be possible if Waver died, for him to join Alexander's reality marble as one of his soldiers? Seems like something he'd be pretty pleased with.

>"I've met many fools like you, hell-bent on destroying the present in an attempt to resurrect the past. Like those others, you try to justify your selfish desire for control by cloaking it in the guise of altruism. You're not satisfied with any result that ends in loss? Your immaturity and weakness make me laugh. So, you asked me if I thought you were evil, right? You deluded, spiteful ghost. That's exactly right. Your misguided ideals are nothing more than the corrupted logic of one long dead. You are the epitome of evil; a lifeless shade who'd sacrifice the innocent for your own selfish goals."

oh damn that makes sense

He was already mostly dead I'd say. He was shot, he was stabbed, he was old, and he was only standing due to a command spell just like Nobu. Which is why Nobu decided only Okita could be the final victor here to stop Maxwell.

Literally everyone on here thinks she's lewd

Nasu said "it depends on Waver"
But probably

Probably

Yes, because he's sworn to Iskandar as his follower. Unfortunately for Waver, if he expects some grand reunion, he probably would not be getting one. Iskandar is massive lump of ego, and it's only a matter of course that Waver would follow someone like him. He would just end up being one of the grunts holding a sarissa in the background.

In Fate/Apoc I think it's mentioned that fate/zero's grail war didint happen, but waver got into some other fake war and still summon Iskandar.

>Rin wasn't anything special in terms of power or ability, even in Clock tower she found people just as strong or stronger than herself, such as Luvia.
I always got the impression it was just that Luvia was a hard counter to Rin in so many ways.

>People are jaded fucks now, ever since the information age happened.
I think the bigger issue with being recognized is that modern mages take effort not to be recognized. If the world knew about the Fuyuki Holy Grail Wars, I think there would be a lot more modern Heroic Spirits without them needing to be Counter Guardians.

Do you think EMIYA can make Waver like jap food?

Attached: Today's Menu for the Emiya Family - c017x2 (v02) - p131 [dig] [DENPA] [LuCaZ].png (1663x2368, 359K)

unfortunatley most of it will be consensual heterosexual sex, because the elevens just love it for some reason.

>I'm not up to date on all the inner workings of the Fate series, would it be possible if Waver died, for him to join Alexander's reality marble as one of his soldiers? Seems like something he'd be pretty pleased with.

Urobuchi answered this question.

[rires]

I want to putl my garbage tier magic circuits into her, if you know what I mean.

>French
What?

>I always got the impression it was just that Luvia was a hard counter to Rin in so many ways.

No, she is literally Rin but better.
Luvia's family created the gandr, Rin's family stole it
In the third war Luvia's grandmother and her grandmother's siter were in the war, and Rin's grandfather was also in the war. Luvia's family has a special trait where there can be two heirs to a crest, and they can combine their power or something.
During the contest at some point Rin's grandfather ran off with Luvia's grandmother's sister, but the official story as far as Luvia's family knows is that he killed her, which created a blood fued. So they're literally related.

Luvia has the original gandr bloodline, Luvia has stronger magic circuits, Luvia has just as much talent, Luvia has just as much physical talent with martial arts even if their fighting style is different, Luvia, and both Rin and Luvia have a magecraft that's entirely dependent on money, but Luvia has all the money in the world. Rin can run out of gems, Luvia can't. Luvia was literally created to be an alt version of Rin, a London version of Rin. She's everything Rin is but better.

If they have any differences, then they're entirely minimal. In fact its said the entire reason they fight so much is because they're too damn similar to each other that they grate each other constantly, but they also enjoy it.

assomonotype.fr/interview-de-gen-urobuchi-a-lepitanime-2013/

and a le snail bagguette to you too

>TMF : Well, well, the last question of the interview. If Gilgamesh was serious when he was fighting Saber, who would win?

>U : The problem is that a serious Gilgamesh does not exist. But if it ever happened and he fought Saber, none would win. It was Nasu who said it.

What did Urobuchi mean by this?

Rin gets Second Magic Inheritence, she doesn;t

>TYPE-MOON France
The fuck?

Just look at those hip protrusion. How can a 12 year old have such a lewd body?

He'd probably get to keep his magic and sharp mind, if nothing else.

>saint who cooks

>As deacon in Rome, Lawrence was responsible for the material goods of the Church and the distribution of alms to the poor.[8] Ambrose of Milan relates that when the treasures of the Church were demanded of Lawrence by the prefect of Rome, he brought forward the poor, to whom he had distributed the treasure as alms.[9] "Behold in these poor persons the treasures which I promised to show you; to which I will add pearls and precious stones, those widows and consecrated virgins, which are the Church's crown."[5] The prefect was so angry that he had a great gridiron prepared with hot coals beneath it, and had Lawrence placed on it, hence Lawrence's association with the gridiron. After the martyr had suffered pain for a long time, the legend concludes, he cheerfully declared: "I'm well done on this side. Turn me over!"[8][10] From this St. Lawrence derives his patronage of cooks, chefs, and comedians.

Why the surprise? Even the chinks have official TLs of stuff like this and france is the only bunch that can rival them in terms of weebness.

I didn't think there were official TLs of anything Type-Moon related.

The French are a bunch of Weebs I wouldnt be shocked if they all praise type moon for making Jeanne but how do they feel about the 12 Paladins all being goof balls?

Rin has a natural affinity with all 5 elements, including Ether which is super fucking rare. In fact that affinity is why Zelretch first approached the Tohsaka family in the first place and gave them the opportunity to learn the Second Magic. Luvia's family lacks that which is why she doesn't have the potential that Rin does.

>I didn't think there were official TLs of anything Type-Moon related.

You're right. Mahoyo has a fan French (français) localization.

MonoType (formerly Type-Moon France) is an association working to spread and promote Japanese modern visual culture (such as manga, anime, visual novels, light novels, and the like) and has been doing so since 2012.

The damn frogs are out doing us all.

The 12 Paladins of Charlemagne was entirely an abridged series of the Knights of the Round Table.

One of the Paladins Orlando goes crazy becasue a girl he liked did not like him so he goes on a rampage it is up to Astolfo to return him to his senses and its where Astolfos cross dressing tendencies rise.

>After the martyr had suffered pain for a long time, the legend concludes, he cheerfully declared: "I'm well done on this side. Turn me over!"
What a legend.

How do the French act when one their most important historical figures is a popular Japanese archetype

TM's LN's are all published in Korea iirc

>Luvia's family created the gandr, Rin's family stole it
Neither Rin nor Luvia got it for themselves, so it doesn't much matter whose family had it first.

>Luvia has stronger magic circuits
Bullshit. That's one of the areas where they're exactly equal.

Luvia has the edge in physical capability, which is why she typically beats Rin. Her fighting style is a good counter to Rin's. But, I haven't seen a thing from Luvia that would suggest she's on the same level as Rin in mental capability.

What about the VNs?

Luvia's element is Earth. Rin's element is "Average One (Five Elements)". Her origin is one of the Imaginary Elements, similar to Sakura. So in that regard, Rin has an advantage.

>no imouto-wife to bully me

Animu genuinely makes you wish you didn't exist, the world is too suck

In a society that isn't inundated by gross foods with strange chemicals, 18 is still not truly mature. People reach full adulthood in their mid-late 20s and peak around their early-mid 30s, at least if they aren't destroying their body with chemicals, garbage and lack of normal exercise.

Charlemagnes paladins were always dorks

Isn't Orlando the same as Roland, but Italian?

>they're minimal

And yet Rin makes me want to give her money to pleasure me while Luvia is just an annoying drilltits character.

>18 is still not truly mature
What are you talking about?

Its Orlando (Ronald) so they are the same

Fan patches if vndb is to be believed. But the patches happen way faster than either the French or the English/American/International ones.

Attached: Luvia pleases admins for ad space.png (865x279, 145K)

At first I hated that I only got green loli Reines for the first episode and got stuck with this bitch for the rest of the show. Now I really don't care and actually kinda like her like this as well.

Rin's design is one of Takeuchi's best for sure.

reminder rin and luvia have the same crest but the crest is a double crest and half of it went too the tohsaka's cause of third HGW fuckery because one of the 2 edelfelt sisters of that ended up marrying a tohsaka and shit went from there.

Average One isn't one of the imaginary elements. The imaginary elements are things that don't exist on earth. They're reserved for shit like void, ether, and imaginary numbers.

one of her affinities specifically is ether though, thats why the tohsakas explicitly are under an agreement with zelretch, they have some retardedly good affinities.

No, I mean her origin is one of the Imaginary Elements, at least according to Complete Material II. It doesn't say which Imaginary Element, though. Her sorcery trait is Average One. Sakura's origin is Imaginary Numbers ("Hollow") and her sorcery trait is also Imaginary Numbers ("Hollow").

Yeah but Rin's element is Average One (Fire, Earth, Water, Wind, Ether) and her origin is one of the two Imaginary Elements (Hollow/Imaginary Number and Nothingness) though.

Should I watch this is if I liked both the OG Fate VNs, Tsukihime, KnK, and Fate Zero, but despised pretty much every thing else released since then?

Shut up, Redman

Yes because this is actually for old type moon fans.

This is about waver from fate zero as an adult, no shit it is good.

I dont see why that would be a problem, bringing AOG back would solve so many problems.

Who are you ? Kirsch or Heartless ?

Ether is one of the five earthly elements. The Imaginary Elements are Void and Nothingness. Both of those comprise Imaginary Numbers.

>Correcting someone on history
>Utterly wrong
Come the fuck on. J. Edgar Hoover was head of the FBI.

Wait what... Imaginary Elements are Nothingness and Hollow (also called Imaginary Number) while Void is another name of Ether though?

It gives divine spirits the ability too rule the world with an iron fist again, do you think they want to go back too putting up with ishtars bullshit again?

>head of the FBI
user, I think that's the joke he was going for.

Translation confusion! The kanji for the fifth real element can be translated as void, sky, or ether.
The kanji for the first imaginary element can be translated as hollow or void.

Ah i see, thanks user

Correction to myself. Fifth real element can be translated as void or sky. Ether is a nasuverse term, not a proper translation, since the english word refers to a chemical.

The two Imaginary Elements are "Imaginary Numbers" and "Nothingness". But Ryougi Shiki's origin was also Nothingness. Someone with the origin of Nothingness can't be born; the Counter Force would have made her stillborn. Ryougi Shiki was born thanks to the techniques of the Ryougi clan.

I doubt the Tohsaka have access to such techniques, so Rin's origin is probably Imaginary Numbers.

In Nasuverse, 空 should be translated as "void" since it's referring to amorphous nothingness basically.

What are the worst translations of Nasuverse terms?

There's other imaginary elements

Are you certain of that? I had read that Shiki's origin was 空, which as we've established is the fifth real element, Void.
So you prefer the translation with 虚 as Hollow and 空 as Void?

Good question. I've been slowly rereading Nasuverse in Japanese so I have all of the terms jumbled up in my head. Equating "固有結界" to "reality marble" took me a second. I mean it's not really a terrible choice of words (it sounds cool at least), but it's not really an accurate translation.

>So you prefer the translation with 虚 as Hollow and 空 as Void?
That's how I would do it. Yeah.

GRAVE FOR YOU

It's a bit of a stretch, but translating 虚 as Emptiness would be a nice bit of set design for the two Imaginary Elements. Rather than Hollow and Nothingness, Emptiness and Nothingness works better, don't you think?
Then again, Hollow and Nothing might be better.

Eh, we'd be splitting hairs over synonyms. Emptiness and Nothingness does sound nice together. I agree.

>虚 as Hollow and 空 as Void
Not him, but I'll go with this too. 虚 tend to have the usage/implication of 'falseness or 'shallowness' while 空 tends to be just that, emptiness, aka void. This is most prominent when you look into Buddhism, concepts that Nasuverse like to use as well. Both 虚 and 空 can mean emptiness but in Buddhism 空 is emptiness with the implication of 'not bound by anything else while 虚 tends to have the connotation of empty because of lacking in (meaningful) substances.

What do you think of Altria?

>but it's not really an accurate translation.
To be fair, Nasu english name weres never about being a translation but more of providing additional meaning for a term. Basically, instead of treating it as english translation, it's more appropriate to think of it as Nasu using English as a form of ruby text.

I like Seiba if that's what you're asking.

I'm pretty sure Reality Marble is the furigana, isn't it? So it wasn't a decision by the translators but by Nasu.

Interesting. This may be only my personal usage, but I tend to think of the term "emptiness" as implying a container. There must be a boundary of that emptiness; a thing to be empty. So in this way it's a parallel for hollow, which also implies an empty container. I wouldn't describe something boundless as empty, myself.
Emptiness can also have that connotation of meaninglessness or falseness, as in "empty praise".

Oh was it really used as a furigana? I honestly haven't gotten to re-reading F/SN yet (still on Melty Blood). My exposure to the term was probably in the Case Files novel.

Pretty sure is a nasu english term, same with marble phantasm and noble phantasm

Thoughts on TMdict?

tmdict.com/en/#en

Same with Noble Phantasm, I think. Nasu loves using furigana for alternate English names.

So I've brought this up a few times before, but doesn't it really seem like Flat might be connected to the Root?

Is there a difference between "Altria" and "Artoria"?

Yes, being a retard who stubbornly stick to shitty bot translation.

Oh no that's just romanization shenanigans.

Altria is the true name of Saber Alter, whereas the original Saber is Artoria.

Narita said that he will never reveal what exactly is Flat's deal (though he laughed right afterwards, so who knows).

The same between yumizuka and yumiduka

Wasnt what he said that is wasnt going to be show in case files?

I will never understand how the heck could Typemoon/DelightWorks came up with the "Altria" name (the first time they used it is in FGO Mats I, which was released in Aug 2016)

I use whatever would piss people off the most. I feel kinda sad about how no one autistically fights over "Len/Ren" anymore.

Basically, Engrish

Arutoria is how the Japanese pronounce Saber
But Nasu demands that the English for her name is Altria, which comes out sounding like all-tree-uh.
Nasu admits that he doesn't know english at all, but he says that his friend is a real wiz at the language so he just leaves everything up to him. Also for the sake of branding, they demand that the engrish names be consistent across the series even when it really isn't the best spelling at all.

Its funny when FGO had a localization panel a few weeks ago, and the Japanese VA for Saber kept responding "Arutoria" and the NA producer kept rebutting her with "All-tree-uhhh"

Basically, Arthuria or Arutoria would have been far more accurate, but since Nasu already went all in on Alrtria being the canon name, he can't ever go back on it even if he doesn't realize just how little sense it makes in english, and it causes everyone to mispronounce it.

Also there's one funny moment in FGO where Moriarty is deducing Saber's identity and he literally goes "Taken from the Roman name Artorius, and if we feminize that name we get Altria". They make it so damn clear at the time that Moriarty's conclusion was supposed to lead him to the name Arutoria, but then they just cuck out of the proper answer because "We had to go with altria".

>I feel kinda sad about how no one autistically fights over "Len/Ren" anymore

When did that happen?

To be fair everyone knows the "L""R" problem for nips so they can get over it fast specially because they sound almost the same Im in the Len side anyway

Early days, back when Kagetsu Tohya was being translated. There were autistic fights over whether her name was "Len" or "Ren". Incidentally, Melty Blood was already out at the time and her name was romanized as "Len", but people still fought over it because the TM fandom is made up of retarded autists.

It's Len because Len sounds cuter.
Debate over.

Don't forget MATOU (MAKIRI)

Not going to lie, Shinji really looks like a woman here.

Exceptions do not make the rules

No, but they do prove the existence of exceptions. Of which Reines is one.
