Wait
Aiolos ran away from the Sanctuary 13 years before the start of the story, and all the other Goldies were just appointed as such
But according to the Character Data they are just 20-23 by the time the story take place.
So they were already some of the strongest men on earth by the age of seven?

Yes. Normally you just awaken the seventh sense and rest on your laurels for the rest of your life.
This is why the bronzes managed to go above and beyond, because they were constantly being forced to change and adapt and find new ways to become stronger.
Seiya became a literal god this way, challenged the gods and was mindwiped for his BS.
I just find it, how to say it, impressive that they peaked so early in their life when the Seiya and co. managed to get their cloths only in their early teens.
I guess they just started to train from birth or something when you put aside the obviously huge talent they had to have to even reach that rank.
I've only watched the netflix version. this explains so god damned much.
Són niñós super-dotadós.
Yes if you read Saint Seiya Zero you see the Gold Saints as literal children.
>São meninos superdotados

Go read the manga, it's quite good despite the bad visuals (very similar to the situation between the Netflix Devilman Crybaby and the original Go Nagai manga).
Kek
saga and aiolos are older than the other gold saints (as is shown in you picture).
but yeah it's a bit silly.
The majority of the gold saints came from families with at least one other gold saint, either that or they were special from birth.

14 y/o Sagitarius teenager vs 10 y/o Capricorn boy.
Aiolia is Aiolos' brother, Mu was thaught by Sion and I guess Shaka was Buddha. Did the other 12 have any particular perks too?
The last special short manga by Kurumada, I don't remember the name Episode Zero or something, show how Saga and Kanon were born. They arrived by a shooting star in the Gemini Temple.
>MEPHISTO
wat
It's the Viz scans, the best I could find as far as image quality goes
i don't remember which book was it, but basically you are born to be a gold saint, you have everything unlocked since the day you are born, like destiny and the path to protect athena
That seems to be the main case, yes. But there are exceptions, in Next Dimension we already saw Dohko as a Bronze being promoted to Gold, and Shaka's ghost saying that Shun will be his successor.
>184cm (6'2)
>182cm (6'1)
So Aiolos is adult Pit?
>They arrived by a shooting star in the Gemini Temple
What
As in, they just appeared when a Shooting Star passed by the Gemini House?
It's from Saint Seiya Origin, only 2 chapters, you can read in English here:

Buy the manga.
I would buy if at least had a volume. These 2 chapters are the most recent thing by Kurumada and aren't compiled in anything yet.
Nigga, I might if Shiori or Chimaki are involved but Masami Cuckrumada aint getting muh dosh
At least is cool to see that the Netflix version is getting a few people interested on the original series.
So it was because of an affiliate of Hades that all the Saga and Kanon shit ended up happening?
Does she reappear in Next Dimension? Didn't have the time to read that yet and the fact that it's irregularly update puts me off
I am on the 3rd episode, man they really toned down everything, the fights and character movements are all full of animation shortcuts to save budget.
they butchered Shiryu's water fall scene, his arrogance is toned down, and his humble change of heart due to Seiya's dedication isnt as impactful.
Shun isn't charming and elegant, shes just kind of there now...
the show has flaws, but the potential is there I like the models they look nice but man it has no heart compared to the writing of the old one.
No, as it was already said, that is the last SS thing Kurumada made in the last year or so. If he will use this new character in ND or something else, only time will tell. Lots of time.
Recently read Lost Canvas again, it's bullshit but pretty good at the same time. Love Cancer.
Not canon and not representative of the general SS tone, but glad you had fun.
>I might if Shiori or Chimaki are involved

oh. is normal Saint Seiya different in mood? Do they have different fights? Because Lost Canvas was pretty good, but the fights were just spamming powers at each-other.
Would be wrong to say that the spamming powers thing is too different. But the general feeling of the characters and the way the story is told are. If you didn't read the original you can't compare so you may have a better impression, but to fans of the original it feels very fanfic tier. There are those who thinks it's superior and the greatst thing ever tough.
Imagine if JJ Abrams came and said "let's do a new story with new characters but rehashing the older ones, only bigger and prettier!" That's Lost Canvas.
Is there an user from when Saint Seiya was dumped in a story time format some years ago?
If possible could you repost the misopethamenos skin care edit?

>Saying the truth is considered trolling now
I take this Netflix adaptation over the Saintia Sho and Hades Meikai & Elysium animes in any day of the week. They just need to fix the mistakes of this first season on the next episodes.
>claim to be told how "truth" work
Never underestimate fujo
>Netflix adaptation over SS and Hades
Completely delusional burger...
I can see how that would be. I feel like a lot of the characters just came out of nowhere, had an arc, and died. It didn't feel super planned out.
So what do you think of T posing Aiolia?
There's a reason for why Saint Seiya: The Lost Canvas is the only well known Teshirogi work, and all of the mangas she worked since it ended fucking sucks.
God the Netflix series plays out so generically. Like every other line seems like it'd be recorded for a trailer.
>You're about to become a believer
>Prepare, for we are at war!

The way Seiya's powers develop lacks any impact as well. it's just convenient that it's when he gets upset. Never in the previous years has it manifested cause he's upset. Has nobody ever made fun of his stupid sister's drawing for years?
>"You've got guts Seiya. Big Balls. Small brain. Kick his ass, boys!"
Why does this line get through but everything else looks like plastic and the dialogue is staler than week old french bread? Is the audience children or what?
>Pegasus Meteor Fist just makes THUNK sounds on a helicopter like marbles dropping in a metal bucket.
Do they not know that it's supposed to be a flurry of punches? Cause they seem to be making it out to be more energy blasts while he holds out his fist.
Who was the most powerful Gold Saint?
Saga or Shaka?
Tough question. On one hand, Shaka only died fighting 3 gold saints because he allowed it. On the other hand Saga only died after fighting all the protags because he killed himself.
Then again, while the Athena Exclamation obliterated Shaka, the bronze niggas did no actual damage to Saga, even combined.
So Saga I guess?
Look at what they did to my girl! They made her look like a glam punk rocker from Jem!
And I love Jem!
They didn t want to kill Shaka so he decided to take their senses.
had they wanted to do it he would be dead in seconds
Saga, and later Kanon. Then the Soul of Gold anime which is Gold Saint wankery incarnate has others flat out say Saga is the strongest Gold Saint, but it's not a canon work anyway.
>Calling it Ryu-Sei-Ken in an english dub
I'm done.
Never forget
