The worldbuilding has started to come apart (for me) recently, I feel like people actually wanting to be in AC (or parents wanting their kids to stay there) makes zero fucking sense after the Kamisato arc and negative sense if the Archetype Controller is gone/non-functioning now that Aleister's out of the picture. I'm not dropping the series or anything, but it doesn't feel as cohesive as it used to.

The worldbuilding was falling apart at the seams since Accel started 5 years ago.

It makes sense to me. AC is a city build to warp the perception and identity of the children living there and those kids were raised in that environment for most of their life.
Those espers wound not be able to function in a normal city.

With the Misuzu wanting to pull Misaka out story we had a kind of baseline for exactly how fucked things had to be before parents start pulling kids out, and that was AC maybe getting into a war. By the time there are giant insects randomly murdering their way through the city , I think we've gone beyond that and that it should (at least) be acknowledged again.

I'd say everything up to the end of the Othinus arc made sense, the dynamic between the churches in OT was interesting and fairly logical and then Gremlin moving in after the war left a power vacuum also makes sense. After that it's felt a bit all over the place to me, the recent arc worked for me because I was already attached to/interested in Aleister and the new characters were all pretty cool. We'll see how it goes moving into part 3.

Railgun 3 will be 10 episodes Daihaseisai, 2 one off (first and 12th), the last 14 will all be LAC but most of it anime original with Saten either playing detecting trying to sneak into the military base or simply the girls enjoying themselves at the Island.
