These are racing versions of production cars
So these cars are already made to be safe on a head on collision by factory
then they slap in a tube cage inside it to reinforce the cockpit to make sure the car won't fold in in case of a colision
they also replace the seatbelts and seats for racing seats and 4 or 5 points racing harness seat belts (normal car bets are 3 points) that are designed to NOT LET YOU MOVE AT ALL no matter what
you also wear protective clothing (2 layers to be exact) a helmet and a hans device that makes sure your neck wont break in case of a crash
Racing is super safe now, the only thing that can kill you is either a whole car fire and you are stuck inside it or a real hard crash and the G forces kill you
