Why is this bitch so stupid?

>Guy kills like 4 of her dudes within the span of like a couple of weeks

>comes within a hair's breadth of killing her, even with 2 other dragons around to help her

>Reveals himself to basically be a living anti-dragon weapon, his very existence is anathema to them, and he's also resistant to her otherwise broken OP magic

>Insists on just following the same plan she was before, having her kin be scattered all over individually/in small groups carrying out other tasks

>doesn't immediately gather all her kin together and keep them as a single unit to go hunt him down

>will instead just let her kin get picked off 1 or 2 at a time till there's nobody left to come save her spoiled little ass

Seriously this bitch is retarded. They already offed a rank 3 without a scratch, so her big plan is to send her strongest minion after him all alone?

At least we'll get to see the little cunt piss herself some more later.

As Crimson noted, high level dragons tend to be arrogant and thus underestimate their opponents. They never consider themselves to be the hunted.
She herself is also blinded by zealotry.

You do realize that by the time she realized who Ragna was she was getting her face punched in repeatedly. And after her encounter with him she's suffering from PTSD and cannot use her own magic effectively anymore.

Tramasia is retarded, but cut her some slack. She didn't know the reaper was coming, much less to fear him. That changed quickly.

I'm not complaining, would love to see more mind broken Artemisia, she's adorable.

Attached: x10.jpg (891x1280, 684K)

Arrogance and high levels of self assured strength does that to you. She herself is in a state of shock and fear due to what happened, she couldn't cope with it.

Even if she told others to do that, they'd probably find it unnecessary, or at the very least would scoff off at the notion. They do however work in a small group, and arrange a small strategy as far as i'm aware.

Attached: Consider this.jpg (282x410, 29K)

By the way, I mean a small strategy next chapter. Seems like a Spanish group did chapter 22.

tmofans.com/viewer/5d3b8875c76b2/paginated/2

yes that's the point. kamui literally says he just sees her as a normal girl and she should act as such with him. i see some character development coming soon for her once kamui gets rocked by ragna

Yea but that;s not the case. she, and the others, are now WELL aware of the level of threat Ragna is. as you said, she's so scared of Ragna now that just thinking about him makes her piss herself.

This being the case, you'd think she'd take every possible precaution to protect herself and her kin. Her advisors as well should realize that sticking together is their best bet right now, since even she couldn't do anything to Ragna 1 on 1, he's already killed a rank 3, and he very nearly killed Nephelim too, nearly instantly.

>high level dragons tend to be arrogant and thus underestimate their opponents
>every enemy i facing always underestimate me
kind of tired this trope

As you should have realized by this point in the series most dragons are not in fact very smart and are additionally crippled by arrogance and underestimating humans.

just read ch1, wow that's epic

I'm taking a glance at chapter 22, and from what I can understand, they're ditching their efforts of pacifically ending the lives of humans for their plan, and simply resorting to killing them as quickly as possible with their available powers, she accepts that because the situation is too risky otherwise.

They're basically all grouped up and discussing strategy on how to proceed, with the old one taking pride in watching them all work together, and that with this mindset they can surely protect their lord. And the stony looking guy says "Don't die", before they head off.

He's getting his ass kicked in the raws because finally a dragon takes him seriously

>This being the case, you'd think she'd take every possible precaution to protect herself and her kin.
She actually was going that route and insisted on the kin just focusing on destroying the country, but she still needs to respond to the Silverware Corps who successfully killed the science dragon. And she also allowed Chad Thundercock to convince her to send her strongest fighter, himself, after whoever attacked her and also killed Disaster Thrower.

Dragon Bitch isn't a brilliant tactician nor a phenomenal leader. Her kin are the ones more capable at fighting and waging war. So her mistakes are believable and at this point she's got her war council going on because Ragna presented a threat none of them have ever had to deal with.

Who's this? Crimson?
Seems like he's talking about how, just like the king dragon said, as soon as the process was done, their "salvation" from pain would be complete, and despite recording their lives as humans, their hatred for dragons has indeed vanished entirely, and he has come back to a spot with a black sword on the ground, saying that he went there to see if he could fee a thing, but that's seemingly not the case.

Attached: f.jpg (891x1280, 205K)

Oh also states that the only thing remaining is their deep love for their master, and it has essentially become an extremely vital part of their lives, and it scares him how he's not incapable of even feeling pity, or guilt.

That's clearly the madness dragon and exploding dragon some time in the past.

So wait. Artemisia is the only one capable of actually feeling bad, and having proper emotions? It seems like she is the one who turned all the others into dragons, and they all lose their will outside of wishing to serve her.

So is this series worth reading? What can I expect? Not much, given there's only 21 chapters on MD so far, but what do you guys say?

I read it yesterday after spotting a thread on it, and it's WAAAAAYY better than what I was expecting when I started it.
Read it yourself and check, but I can bring up some good points:

>Interesting setting and powers
>MC doesn't have that much personality going for him so far in my opinion, but the moments where he decides to take action, or act for himself add a lot to him as the story progresses
>He is allies with a super fun anti-hero like character, who's borderline villain tier
>The antagonists are fleshed out, and have actual personalities to them, some of them being pretty top tier
>Action and art are great, and the paneling is fairly decent

Attached: Silverware Princess.jpg (835x574, 196K)

How are you gonna write it and make it fun? I don't wanna read strategy manga of two people moving troops around and then political shit going around dealing with generals, mayors about cooperating

It's interesting. Weak guy wants to support his girl who is the hero, fails, and then goes on a lifelong training montage and journey to slay the dragons who are wrecking the world but is a little too late in the end and he can't bring back his girl anyways. So he sends himself back through time and merges with his younger self before everything went to shit, powers mostly intact.

Coolest moment so far?

Attached: S39.jpg (1782x1280, 1.75M)

>who's borderline villain tier
>Killed a bunch of people setting off bombs all over a populated city.

She is straight up villain tier, her goals just happen to aligns with Ragna's who knows he needs her help to pull off his mission. He fully intends to kill her at the end.

Sure, but she did it in the hopes everything would be reverted.

If artemisia made ragna one of her kin, that that was supposed to eliminate any animosity against dragons, how did ragna end up still killing dragons and stuff?

I thought this was Seven Deadly Sins for a moment because of the stupid Angels shit.

Mangadex is missing chapter 2, so you'll need to check for it in another website.

He killed himself with the silver sword in the middle of dragonization. Some unique interaction probably happens due to silver's anti-dragon property

He fought off the transformation jumped to grab a knife on the ground and killed himself with it mid process, it was enough to make him "kin" to her, but not to transform him into a dragon essentially, which probably also helped him fuse with a silver sword along the line.
Crimson then stepped in and revived him due to noticing how he managed to fight off the transformation, in the hopes that something interesting would come from it.

REMINDER. Thundercock is to blame, because he stopped tornado man from moving the knife and stopping his suicide. I wonder how fucking stupid he must have felt once the guy just started to murder all of them, and would move to kill his king later.

Attached: x7.jpg (891x1280, 403K)

Oh wow that's badass.

I guess it depends on how the dragon god created the kings like Artemisia. But we've seen a pretty wide range of emotions from a number of them.
God's orders take priority. Woltekamui had to talk her into sending him out alone. Her original order was for him to stay close as they continue the original plan.
He stopped the process part way. This means he can move in her timestop though, and is honestly probably the reason why he was so broken powerful in the future to begin with.

Well Kamui also doesn't give a shit about anything and is just in love with her, while emo-boy complains about loneliness so I think it's related to your powerlevel(or willpower). The higher up the scale, the less brainwashed you become. Ragna also managed to kill himself during the dragonification process while Crimson obviously has no loyalty to any dragons whatsoever.

I wonder if sword loli from first chapters will ever be relevant again. Her becoming a dragon would make for some sweet tragedy.

They do have emotions, but a range of them are essentially locked away. Basically, pity for people they kill is impossible for them, and they HAVE to love their king after the transformation.

>loli becoming dragon
Oh wow that would destroy ragna

You know what I find weird? Crimson is a fairly central character, and essentially a co-protagonist, and we know jackshit about them, outside of the desire to murder all other dragons, and being manipulative, we don't know what motivates them to want to do this, or what their relationship with their kin even is, hell, we don't know what power level they are, and if they could maybe solo one of the high ranks.
It's a unique approach I guess. Makes me think we'll only fully realize Crimson's intentions and backstory at the end of it all.

My current guess is that "god" made two king dragons, one was Artemisia, and the other was Crimson. You see Crimson and a white haired girl in a ruined earth, with a nuclear missile blowing up in the distance, and said person wishing to stay with them. Crimson and Artemisia seem to display more proper emotion compared to Artemisia's lackeys, so I'm thinking the king dragons are borderline brainwashed, or limited. Crimson is also not bound by duty, and doesn't like Artemisia, which makes me think they weren't transformed by her, but by whatever gave her the power, aka, "god".

Attached: You absolute FUCKER.jpg (834x712, 257K)

aren't limited I meant to say.

Something like they will try to fuck with you as hard as possible

The next chapter has them all discussing strategy, and how to proceed under this new threat, so they aren't taking it for granted.

My current guess is that "god" made two king dragons, one was Artemisia, and the other was Crimson.

There are 6 kings, Crimson was the former winged king and Artemesia replaced her.

I must have missed that part. Does that mean we don't even know what the other 5 major antagonists are?

>when the villains think they are in a fantasy world but it's actually the post post apocalypse

Attached: boom.jpg (1600x1149, 585K)

Wait nevermind, I just re-read the introduction page when Crimson shows herself fully to Ragna.
Still, this is weird. Artermesia and emo dragon seem like endgame stuff by now, I can't imagine all of these just dying and then just curb stomping the rest of the winged kings.

Attached: Wha.jpg (302x302, 38K)

>Still, this is weird. Artermesia and emo dragon seem like endgame stuff by now, I can't imagine all of these just dying
How so? Artemisia nearly got killed by Ragna, completely alone and unprepared, after meeting purely by chance. And he hasn't even recovered his full strength yet.
With some plan concocted by Crimson and the princess's support, he'd make short work of her. Also I'm thinking Ragna + Princess will be a really broken combo since she can manipulate all the silver swords he creates, and maybe even improve them/make new ones.

it's not "winged kings", it's the kings of the other clans.

Wings is just a single one of the dragon clans. there is like, eyes, horns etc. I forgot where it said but there s like 7 of them or something

Each is it's own entire clan with it's own king. Artemisia is actually one of several, and as she herself admits she's not that good at fighting so if you find a way around her hax she's fucked

other kings might have power even greater than Chad thundercock's while also actually being skilled combatants

Oh, I don't mean in relation to power levels, I mean narrative wise. So far,we only know about the one king dragon, Artemisia, and they sorta talk about her as if she's the only reigning king dragon so far, or at least, at this point in the story, and the other 5 aren't even mentioned outside of Crimson talking about hunting down the other 6 brethren.

Basically, we're getting so much focus on her, and the ones that follow her, it seems weird to imagine that there are another 5 kings, with their own lackeys.

I would love to see mind broken Crimson
she/he would be very cute with a face of despair
Ragna destroying Crimson when

Artemesia is most likely the newest king, so also the weakest. It all depends on the other kings abilitys and strength. Crimson compared Ragna to a rank 2 dragon ( he even tried to avoid Kamui completely ), so other kings should still be a huge problem.

I mentioned above my reasoning, but i'll just add some extra points:

>Is the one who ruined his Future self's life, and destroyed an entire kingdom, and Artemisia is the one who is seemingly capable of hearing God's voice
>Is the one who drove him to go full genocide, and even made him "kin"
>Not a single other is shown so far, and even her lackeys are given plenty of screentime and importance, and also took part in what lead to his future self to become hyper strong
>Emo is being set up to follow in a similar route to Ragna, potentially a rival in terms of power, since he has potential for it, by wanting to protect what he considers important to him

Basically, from a story telling perspective, they are being given WAY too much focus for them all to just die, and then we move on to a new king arc, and they are entirely related and important to the reason of why this is even happening.
In my mind, either they will be endgame, and other kings show up sooner and get dealt with, or when the manga is near it's end, the rest of the king dragons will be fodderized, and blown past so they can reach the climax of the story, since they're not that important for the narrative.
It's way too ambitious if the author legit plans to go through every single king, show them and their lackeys, and establish their character, and even show growth, especially at this pacing.

Winged dragon is a clan. This is mentioned several times. Artisma is the winged king. Crimson is king of another clan. We were shown crimson had a personal relation to the dragon god and that he lived in this world in modern times. (the usa was mentioned im sure). This was in the span of a single page so its okay if you missed it.

>and other kings show up sooner and get dealt with, or when the manga is near it's end, the rest of the king dragons will be fodderized, and blown past so they can reach the climax of the story, since they're not that important for the narrative.

I mean that's the classic battle manga formular isn't it?

Is it? They usually establish all the bigshots, even if they don't fully show them initially, and we are not given this much focus on a single big bad, and their groupies, unless the series is long as fuck, like say, One piece.

I dunno, at the pacing we're going, and the amount of detail the author offers to Artemisia and her groupies, and even setting up some of them to be long recurring or endgame tier with emo awaking to his potential (he transitioned instantly compared to Thundercock who took a day, and that implies he's entirely capable of being much more of a monster power wise), I just can't imagine them doing this for every single king.

Crimson specifically had Ragna distract her enough so that she couldn't revert time to after the bombs went off in order to make her face the reality of what she's doing

>Winged dragon is a clan. This is mentioned several times. Artisma is the winged king. Crimson is king of another clan.

Nah, Crimson was the former king of the winged clan. Artemesia replaced her after Crimson became a traitor.

The girl in Crimsons flashback wasn't god. We have seen god as a little girl in Artemesias dream ( which makes sense because the whole war just started because the gods favorite candy shop closed ).

She was specifically aiming for her to entirely exhaust her power supply by using time rewind on a large scale one more time. She gets HYPER mad at golem for not going all out, and exploding another sector and creating more carnage, since she thought the extra push would have driven Artemisia to use her powers again, and revert it.

The goading was to make her do it, not the end result.

Attached: x27.jpg (891x1280, 654K)

Really? then whats with that shit about the scales and the claws and the rest of that shit? im rereading so i can say with any sort of confidence that im correct. Which i understand that i might not be.
(and we also see crimson as many different women multiple times in reality so appearences are deceiving)

Crimson was the "winged king" and the "former master of the winged family". Artemesia is the current "winged king", so she replaced Crimson. It's never explicit stated this way, but you put the pieces together.
The scales and claws are other families / kings equal to Crimson / Artemesia, but not further introduced yet.

Attached: 72.png (899x1280, 1002K)

Considering he tried to send her away so she wouldn't die it would probably break him.

Crimson is older than Artemesia, and he managed to hold onto enough of his hatred that he's going to murder every dragon he finds.
It remains to be seen, but either their hatred was half assessed, or they didn't happen on the same hack Crimson found.

See, but my most favorite thing is societies/cultures being at low-key war with each other. Especially when there's strategy wide elements at play.
"I have a massive silver mine, so I can outfit as many mundane dragon hunters as I want." "Neat, my guy craps silver out without thinking it. He'll cover any cost at basically minimal labor."

Attached: Super Cool.jpg (1782x1280, 1.28M)

Sword-loli belongs to the Sun Cult!

The reason nobody else is shown is because the Winged Clan is the only one acting in that specific kingdom. The rest are scattered across the rest of the world, so it makes sense that we haven't seen them yet and that the catalyst for Ragna's descent into indiscriminate dragon genocide were the Winged Clan that is actively destroying the kingdom he's lived his whole life in.

He did it because he was hoping for something interesting, obviously.
While her love for Artemisia is probably real, I have a feeling his real purpose in life lies somewhere else, even dragonization couldn't completely overcome it.
I hope the author does something interesting with him.

The winged clan is the one reigning over this area, if I understand it correctly.

>I wonder how fucking stupid he must have felt once the guy just started to murder all of them, and would move to kill his king later.

he does not remember any of this, because it never happened... power given by time travel thing hunga bunga.

Where do you find the raws for this?

I've read some comments on mangadex and other manga sites. Some people legitimately uphold that Crimson is a LGBTQ+2 non-cisgendered man who identifies as a woman and he should be treated as such. He might hail from there.

>STOP RUINING MY PLANS RAGNA

so what is crimson then?

A trickster. An asshole. Loki changed his gender plenty of times too for the sake of his pranks. Either "he" or "she" would be fine because really gender is not that important of an aspect to this story. Anyone who'd get upset about someone else "not using xer proper pronouns" doesn't belong on here anyway.

Xhe

Did the lgbtqi community touch you in a bad place user?

It might have to do with whatever motivated them Most of the dudes were motivated by hate. Artemisia probably had love or some BS as her motivation instead which results in her nonsensical behavior.Crimson could have simply been too stubborn to go along with orders and betrayed them simply because that's what his past self would do.

As a matter of fact they're ruining my trap and futa porn with their politics, but that's a discussion for another time.
