Why do rivals always improve a series?
Why do rivals always improve a series?
because raivu > waifu
>destroy rival
>lose in the cutscene
Not in that case
sauce was a really awful character
pic related was better
He was pretty great up until Garas tailbeast awakened, he had a snarky personality, witty comebacks, actual chemistry with the other characters like naruto, Lee and Gaara, and his power level was more balanced with everyone else and was generally cooler when he was more reliant on taijutsu rather than ninja magic.
then he fell for the curse mark meme and it was only downhill from there.
I dunno, but I love it.
Because authors always put more effort in their relationships that the ones between MC and his love interest.
based take
Sasuke after finding out everything about him and his brother and his clan was better though
Creating a character solely to be the opposite of your MC almost guarantees you a fanbase in some shape or form.
Except it never does.
Not when Gaara turns into a braindead Narutofags with no thoughts or opinions of his own other than how much he loves Naruto after that headbutt
Naruto is unique in that it's one of the few if only anime/manga where MC never beats his rival.
Every other manga/anime has MC beating the rival sooner or later.
Black Clover says otherwise
Rivals are good but what i hate is when fujoshi's latch on to them.
>where MC never beats his rival.
Because it's an easy strategy to trick fujos into thinking that their gay ship could have a chance. Of course there's no possibilities that this would be happening and when the author cucks you he goes all smug and justifies the weak het pairings with less development with the classical ''what, an actual gay romance in my WSJ? lol you stupid'' so you have zero right to whine about it.
TL;DN sistematically opression of the fujos to mantain them buying but silent and submissive at the same time.
rivals aren't about fujos you loser. it's about the pure bonds between men.
In my experience fujos always latch on to stuff far more retarded than the rivals' relationships. For instance Naruto's most popular pairing was Kakashi and Iruka for some reason.
Bad thread narutard, should have started the thread with Goku/Bejita-sama.
>not posting the next scene where naruto said he didn't win
Literally fought to a draw
Rivals aren't as fun if one of them always loses to the other though
He didn't win in a symbolic gay way you fucking airhead
But Bejita always wins against Gokek
He should just post the entire fight so you can see Naruto assfuck Sasuke and counter everything he has. Reminder Sasuke had to take the power from all the tailed beast to even compare to Naruto in raw power and was still outclassed afterwards.
Wasn't the second fight a tie where Goku didn't even bother going SSJ3?
Please don't try to reason with Bejita shitposters
no
Maybe the fujo's were in right idea all along.
What if the rival was the love interest?
When has that ever happened?
Don’t fall for hit bait pls
Forbidden sexual tension
The first fight was a tie. The 2nd one I would agree that Vegeta won. I mean if a normal human with a sword could just push it down on you and kill you when an hour before you could destroy entire planets. I'd say you're basically as good fucked as it could be. I mean Krillin could've killed him there if he wanted. All he could do is crawl to a ball and hope nobody finished the job on his crawl towards the space ball.
Inside every fujoshit's mind.
