If Sensei really could have been convinced, he would have by now. It's been clear for a while that Sensei doesn't care to pursue nirvana, and just wants to fuck around on earth with the gems. I think if all gems and bodies are disappearing for real, they had to keep that information hidden from the gems.
What I don't get is why Sensei doesn't ever inform the gems of his own reasoning. Surely the gems would be on Sensei's side after being raised by him. Seems like a plot hole to me that all the gems along with snails get nothing'd from Adamant's prayer. I thought the whole deal was that the moonies were on the verge of becoming nothing but held back by their mortal transgressions, thus they needed someone to pray for their souls, that they could finally pass on.
Maybe all three of them are all the remnants of humanity's sins, and the moonies were the only ones who knew it?
Even if that's not the case and Adamant is just broken, how would his prayer erase everyone? My thought is that it's not prayer as we understand it to be but some kind of metaphysical soul eraser.

Here's my prediction: The prayer works and all descendants of humanity are eliminated. But Phos isn't being counted as a descendant of humanity, since "Phos being fully human" is what's triggering Adamant's prayer in the first place. So everything else will disappear and Phos will be left entirely alone forever.

Though to be fair, we don't fully know Adamant's limitations when it comes to what he can and can't say. Having that security measure kind of feels like a cop out though when it comes to this.
For instance, it makes sense that his creators would program him so that he can't talk about the specifics of his hardware or how he could be hacked, but when it comes to the consequences of his prayers, I'd think he'd be able to tell the gems that it would kill them too.
IIRC he confirmed with Phos that his prayer would indeed free the moonies i.e. an example of him talking about his core function. The same should apply to erasing the gems.

If we take Aechmea's words literally and Adamant is making humanity's descendants return to nothingness, only "descendants", then maybe the person who is left at the end is Phos, whom Adamant identified as a human, not a descendant of humans. It would be a strange interpretation and yet if the translation is correct, it's something Aechmea could imply. He didn't say this chapter that Sensei would affect humans, he only mentions that the broken robot's prayers would affect descendants of humanity.

There are several reasons. Apparently the eye Phos has is related to humans in some way. Phos has attributes of all three species descended from humanity. Phos also is going through the range of human emotions. Those are the three things I've seen people mention when talking about it.

The idea is that the pearl eye that Phos has probably has one of the "human particles" that was in chapter 56 in it, seeing that Sensei seemed to change his behaviour towards Phos after Phos came back as well.

I think there's a decent chance he goes through another character shift. He mostly stopped caring about Phos and his other previous attachments as a means to try and get over his insecurities about having a personal self, but I think he'll find that Phos is someone worth caring about.

Kongo is designed to only listen to humans. Phos is getting past his human authentication thing to some extent. Phos isn't entirely human but if he does become human he should have the ability to pray instead of Kongo I'd imagine.

Sensei is, and that's important because it seems a human or human analogue is needed to start Sensei's prayer sequence at the very least. Phos might be playing more of a role in it than just making Sensei do it, but we can't tell for certain right now.

My take on human Phos is just that he has all the components that humans split into. The eye was Lunarian-made and probably contains Lunarian essence.
So Phos isn't a human but still counts as one on a spiritual level.
If the human particle theory is correct, I think it would be throwing away a lot of good symbolism.

It doesn't have to be only one thing. It could be a combination of all factors.

I would only be a little be surprised if it's later revealed neither of those things were physically important and the reason he was recognized as human is because he's the only creature there that experienced growth and change like a human. Admirabillis are probably more human than gems are, but they're not resilient like humans and fuck and die too fast for any single one of them to accomplish anything. And moonies literally used to be humans, but are now sort of empty.

I think it's really elegant how a member of the least human of the three species had to build upon itself with pieces of the others to become human. Coinciding with obtaining "flesh" he became more involved with and empathetic towards others because he saw Ventricosus working so hard for her people, where most gems compartmentalize and accept. Coinciding with obtaining "spirit," he understands matters of life and death, to the point of resorting to manipulation and trying to justify ends vs their means, by playing the long game to prevent as much suffering as possible over time, as opposed to only the suffering of the people he cares about personally.

To sum it up, I feel gems embody tenacity, slugs embody vitality, and moonies embody ambition, all three of which are needed to make deliberate changes in others. Humans must also develop constantly individually, and Phos is the only creature we see grow, rather than react or be quickly replaced.

I think the emphasis on Sensei being "lonely" like what occasionally comes up from the gems (Phos, Antarc, Cinnabun) will end up being what happens to Phos in the end. After stripping everything away from the world, Phos now gets to experience those millennia of emptiness and lack of interaction, which will finally make Phos understand why Sensei would be unwilling to give it up.

eh, I don't really know how to teach it but first of all you should use a good software like photoshop so it'll be easier to move and change the size of pics and screenshots.
Secondly you should make the text look like a thread or a conversation so the pic becomes easier to read thanks to its flow.
Thirdly you should be careful of the quality of the screenshots, don't hesitate to zoom on your browser to take big ones and it's okay to downsize the pics. It's annoying to have to zoom in and out on a pic. Start the compilation with a very high resolution like 9999x4999, and then change it as the editing goes on.
It's a lot of improvisation but try to have a vague idea of how you want it to look like.

I think Aechmea in particular has only ever lied by omission. It's hard to tell about the love aura thing since he clearly treats the gems in such a way that it's natural for them to love him, and the only admirabillis that he met was Ventricosus who was just being very flirty with everyone.

Death would be the best ending for Phos. But I don't want that shit Aechmea to succeed, so it should end with everyone living forever and with Phos moving to slug paradise

Don't really see how the earth gems not wanting to go to the moon or not trusting Phos has anything to do with him. He could have tried to stop them from shattering Phos but for one, there's a good chance they wouldn't listen to him and two, he had stepped down as leader/wanted them to make their own decisions.
