A hate thread for the worst character in all of Jojo. He's beat for beat a self insert character some 14 year old girl would make (Starts with no powers until he gets some borderline op shit, becomes butt buddies with antihero recurring character, gets psycho stalker gf who's only personality trait is loving him, cucks main character from a shitload of his own story and even the climax where Kira gets defeated, personality of sandpaper, literally no faults aside from being "too nice" or "short" etc.) and almost every single arc he gets would have been better if Josuke, Okuyasu, Rohan or even Shigechi were in his place because theyre at least characters, ones both more interesting and likable than this waste of time.

All the points here are good and all. After all, I too got fed up of watching koichi's bizarre adventure every other episode. But for the love of god, can we address the worst thing about this character? He was voiced by yuki kaji. Holy fuck, his voice makes me want to commit suicide. Especially bad since koichi does nothing but scream in a dangerous situation. Literally the worst thing about DiU.

I really love Johnny but have grown to dislike Kaji's voice after hearing it everywhere over the years, it's just so annoying now. I wonder if they'll try to get him back for Johnny like in the games, I hope they can find someone else even better.

If I hear Kaji voicing a character, I just groan a bit, but I've been able to tolerate him. I was able to tolerate him as Johnny. Although I hope they choose someone else for the SBR anime. But his voice was much higher for koichi and it just made him insufferable. I'm glad we'll never see his character again in the anime.

I always figured Jotaro was sort of using timestop even then for like less than a second without knowing he was doing it. Star Plat's extreme precision was actually just mini-time stops. I guess stands like the Tower put a whole in that theory though.
