Miura gives you $100 million he made selling his Idol M@ster save to produce the perfect Berserk adaptation, you have full control on the entire operation so how do you do it?
>Bones as lead animation studio
>Susumu Hirasawa on soundtrack
>BD and Netflix at launch, no cuts or censorship
>starts at fucking snake and count arc, then into the golden age (for the last fucking time) then back on schedule into the lost children arc and soforth
Miura gives you $100 million he made selling his Idol M@ster save to produce the perfect Berserk adaptation...
>Bones
That's pretty cringe. The rest is based tho
I would just make more of those movies. Oh you don't like them? Well then fuck you, I'm the one with the money and I like them.
Golden Age has to come first. The Count arc spoiled that Griffith becomes a demon god. Throughout the whole of the Golden Age arc your aware of this so his eventual betrayal doesn't come as a surprise.
In this thread user received a grim reminder that Wit Studio is the perfect candidate for a new Berserk show. Of course it would start AFTER the eclipse, we're not doing that shit again.
Embezzle the money
Based
Considering Miura doesn't even feel like making more Berserk, it doesn't really deserve an adaptation. I'd rather use the money for something else.
That's the entire point, you cretin.
I'm just saying the story has more impact when you don't know Griffith is going to betray them. You get to feel the shock of it all along with the rest of the characters.
there are a lot of things that will fly over your head in the golden age arc without the count arc (demon who kills corcus and count being at femto's birth)
>Mad House, MAPPA, or White Fox as studio
>Hirasawa on OST with Sagisu occasionally contributing a track
>Battle Beast and Beast In Black perform OP
>Completely uncensored gore
>Completely adapts the Black Swordsman and Lost Children arcs
>Sword of the Berserk game's plot featured as an OVA or movie
>Likewise, elements from the PS2 game will be incorporated
>Bring Nobutoshi Canna back in some way, same for Morikawa and Miyamura
>OG dub cast reprise their roles. Skull Knight voiced by Michael Wincott
>Anime ends when they reach Elfheim
You still get those but afterwards. Plus it's more satisfying to watch Guts take revenge on them when what they did is still fresh in your mind. By the time you get up to the eclipse after reading the count arc you've kind of forgotten about those two, and they get lost in the crowd of other demons.
one of the few impressive dubs, I hope the va's are still around
>ends at elfheim
I almost forgot where we were..
You're missing the point entirely of black swordsman coming first being a good choice (regardless of whether or not Muira realized it at the time). What that guy pointed out about things flying over your head is trivial.
With black swordsman first you enter Golden Age with tons of questions. You immediately transition from high fantasy to a seemingly totally realistic world. After getting absorbed into Golden Age's story you start to forget (though it's everpresent in the back of your mind) about the origins of the story. You grow to like the characters and understand the world better but once in a while are reminded that this story doesn't have a happy ending (Griffith's behelit, the appearance of Zodd). The entirety of Golden Age takes on a much more sinister atmosphere because even at its height where Griffith and Guts are heroes of Midland, you still know that something has to go wrong. But you have no idea how it goes wrong and it's that mystery that makes the Golden Age so much more compelling. Once things do start going wrong you're left in breathless anticipation as to how bad are things going to get? When does it come to a head? Does ANYONE aside from Guts make it out alive?
This all culminates to right before the eclipse where it seems like maybe just maybe they'll be able to escape. But that's not true and you know that. So when Griffith finally does trigger the Eclipse and you see how it all happened it's a massive release of tension and horror.
Golden Age before Black Swordsman has the eclipse as a huge shock but that's just a shock. It's not nearly as satisfying as that release of tension from wondering for over a hundred chapters HOW this all happened.
Oh yeah, it's easy to forget that if you go into Berserk spoiler free, you're not sure whether or not even Casca will survive the Golden Age arc.
I mean depends what you mean by spoiler free.
I'd seen anons mention Berserk and Griffith did nothing wrong and Eclipse before and it still worked that way for me. But that's all the information Black Swordsman gives you anyway. If anything being "spoiled" in that sense gives even more reason to put Black Swordsman first.
From the moment I read the lost children arc.
I wanted KyoAni to make a movie of it.
Not even joking.
But now, I just want it to end.
Would hirasawa be able to make another good Berserk OST? I don't really think any of his attempts after 97 were even half as good
He doesn't care anymore.
That PS2 theme song was great
I mainly mean going in knowing only the basics, which are roughly the things you mentioned. Starting with the Black Swordsman is the best way to go about it regardless. I myself read the first 3 volumes, watched the first anime then continued mid Vol. 13.
Going at it via Vol. 1 > First anime > Vol's 2 and 3 is also a valid option for the sheer impact of the Guts and God Hand reunion.
I'd like to believe he saw something special in 97 and so put more effort into it, while the recent attempts were lazy at best
what about Kyo would you want them to adapt berserk?
Just g8ve it to netflix to see how bad it can get.
>they must use cg
I'd bring the 97 dub cast back.
>my love for you...is like a truck
Buy his IM@S stuff and then reenact the whole story with it.
>do you want to making fuck
pay namco to make idolmaster fighting game
>Makoto as Guts
Make it happen
But make it good
Recast berserk with idolmaster characters.
DO YOU WANNA MAKING FUCK
BER-SER-KER
hey John get out of the booth, there's no more episodes!
WHO IS JOHN? I AM THE HAND OF GOD WHIRLING ABOVE!
