All 34 Victims of the KyoAni Arson have been Identified
>www3.nhk.or.jp
>Police announced on July 25 JST that the bodies of all 34 victims of the arson attack on Kyoto Animation studio one week ago have been positively identified and they are now starting the process of returning the bodies to the families.
>34 people were injured in the same attack, of which 15 remain in coma. The arsonist remains in hospital in critical condition.

How many people do you think have permanent brain or lung damage from breathing in the smoke?
There's already a similar thread, user. Use the catalog.
Sticky when
>of which 15 remain in coma
Not what it says. It says 15 received serious injuries and among those 15, some are still comatose.
Did they find out what happened to the missing guy?
assuming its not a medically induced coma (like the suspect), the longer they stay in the coma the worse their outlook is
god what a shit show this is
praying for the families of everyone but especially for takemoto
>arsonist might die peacefully, in his sleep
So much for anons’ revenge fantasies
>train lover
>massacre an animation studio
Yeah this man is getting a one way a train ticket to that place.
I will post translations of the victims' profiles as they are made known.
Names confirmed by family for now:
>Tsuda Sachie, 41, SFX
>Ishida Naomi, 49, lead colorist
A couple of other people are heavily implied to be dead but the families haven't issued a statement to the media yet.
Fuck off
>15 remain in coma.
Damn.
Yeah the nip boards are chattering that since the arsonist is still in a medically induced coma in critical condition (badly burned over his entire body), he's probably not going to pull through.
wait why the fuck are 15 people still in a coma
Don't get other writers a new idea for isekai LNs, dude.
They're in an isekai
1, it's not 15 in a coma, it's some unspecified number less than 15
Also, comas aren't exactly easy to wake up from
>Also, comas aren't exactly easy to wake up from
Bullshit, i wake up from a coma every morning.
Burn victims are usually placed in a medically induced comas to help the body heal faster.
>be animator
>die
>get to live in the world you helped create
imagine
>15 remain in coma
>Have burn wounds so bad you need to be put in a medical induced coma so they can heal you.
>You will likely wake up wondering where you are, what day it is and if you are even still alive
It just keeps getting worse
desu i'd be pretty based way to die
literal blaze of glory
we're not sure if they are in medically induced comas or if they are in comas from severe anoxia
if its the former, it's not a big deal (they commonly put serious burn victims in comas to recover)
if its the later, every day they stay in the coma leads to worse and worse odds of living a normal life
>he dies because of the retarded stunt he pulled himself
Good enough.
The only shame is that we'll never find out what masterpiece he made was "stolen" by Kyoani, I mean it must have been something really noteworthy to warrant killing this many people.
Dying in a hospital bed with your feet chopped off is not a blaze of glory desu. If he wanted that he should've stayed in the building.
>NHK was doing an interview with Kyoani to do an animation short for the paralympics.
The fucker can go get railed in the ass for killing them.
IIRC He was delusional and have visited psychiatric institutions, he probably didn't write a thing
34
Man I didnt even think of that
After reading literally hundreds of stupid and edgy revenge fantasies in the past week that'd be kinda hilarious
likely he didn't, bet he drew a kid with a trumpet once and thought Hibike was his idea
Being a severe burn victim means constant agony in which pain meds will hardly do anything for you. When put into a coma the patient is in a state where they don't suffer.
I am glad that they died
Thats what you get for making shitty moe anime
jokes on you, painters, pigs, and poets are worth more dead than alive. You'll never see the end of the moeshit now.
being a shitposting edgelord doesn't make you cool you dumb faggot
who are they praying to now that god is dead?
You mean dead because he's hoist by his own petard. Death by irony is the best kind of death.
This. Kyoto Animation is literally going to be enshrined until the end of time and they can make whatever they want.
This. Kyoani just got matyr'd hard. You're gonna get more stuff being made in tribute of them.
it's been great global exposure
Hell the incident was even on the front page of the New York Times
Retards like you don't actually watch anime. Name me a studio that hasn't made any of the so called moeshit. None. In fact, in recent years dogakobo has been the moe anime studio more than kyoani.
>still in medically induced coma
Wake the fat little fuck up and hang him while the IV is still dripping.
why waste the IV fluid?
Wrong user, now they've truly become god. Remember, in asian mythos plenty of mortals gets deified after death.
The fact that people don't really know is that the longer a coma goes on, the less functional the person is when they wake up. My mother was in a coma for 2 weeks and after she woke up she lost her ability to speak completely. It was 9 years ago and she still hasn't, and ever won't recover back a proper speech. A mild coma of
doesn't that depends on what kind of damage you had previous to begin in coma? there are people who are in that state for years and some wake up fine
Do you think there is a KyoAni fan hunting down where Shinji's staying at to dispense some justice right now?
Was she medically induced or did the coma happen as a result of trauma? Medically-induced comas are essentially prolonged anesthesia and not harmful in the long run.
its basically a crapshoot
but a lot of it depends on how you ended up in a coma
for example, oxygen starved patients have some of the worst recovery percentages
She went down healthy (anesthesia) for a leg operation, had an aneurysm during and had to be put in for a coma, and after waking up she couldn't ever speak clearly again since.
>224 is probably right in that as long as the person is healthy in general, there should be no short term problems. It's just that a coma isn't a lighjt situation and any longer it has to take, thje more damage it can do
No because thats stupid
meant to reply to too, although i'm not actually sure if the damage was correlated or just a horrible coincidence
*
whoops
>There is a chance Shinji Aoba might have brain damage so they can't even try him properly
Well if she had aneurysm, that was probably the cause. Although I'm mainly talking out of my ass and things I've learned from TV.
Genuinely sorry to hear about that though.
Even so, has to be better than death row if half the posts about it are true
Is she still able to write fluently, or is communication in general an issue?
thanks for explaining it, and sorry about that
dying in a coma is like the opposite of blaze of glory
my condolences user. you both seem very strong and I wish you guys the best
She can communicate with some difficulty, but talking is messy. Writing is a little better but it's still very hard for her to describe a situation. From my own experience (growing up with her), and context I can mostly understand what she wants to tell. It's a bit hard to understand her sometimes when she wants to talk about things outside the common context. She tends to write "filler" words that she can say/draw for the context, to make it easier to understand the scene, It's a lot like talking to a foreign language speaker, but just being way more wary of emotional outbursts (i.e cant control laughter/crying very well so might laugh at inappropiate moments).
I haven't been around her a lot recently but I think her writing is a lot better than her speech (although she prefers speaking by far)
>I post on this thread because I thought about writing LNs
>I have deleted most of what I wrote. Those idiots just unwittingly copied them
>Agreed. They even copied my notes. Are they hacking me or it's some mind probe? I will never forget them for copying ideas
>Kyoani is trash, No, they are the worst trash. When asked "How to treat the labors?", they would answer "There's virtue even in the business world." This is a good answer, no, perhaps the best answer.
>However, it's a total opposite behind the scene. The first, in other words, the first time I saw them copying was the K-on movie. And in subsequent year, this got copied. Frankly, they broke their own virtue. Compared to juggernauts like Sunrise, they could easily betray and break virtue with a person like me.
>It was a mistake to trust the most trustworthy company. Many told me "If only you weren't jailed before."
>On hindsight, it was something that shitty company would most likely to commit
-7/10
I hope the fucker burns.
Absolute Schizo.
Is this real?
Coma's are often medically induced on patients with severe injury/burns. It's because the regrowth of skin and grafting that goes on to actually make new skin is beyond pain. imagine resting on your nerves and any time a towel or bandage moves it's ripping the nerve out of place and moving it.
Yeah I'd be in a coma any day over that
>It was a mistake to trust the most trustworthy company. Many told me "If only you weren't jailed before."
This is why you should NEVER show sympathy towards a schizo. All they need is a single corroborating voice, no matter how mild, and they successfully justify their delusions for life. If you encounter a schizo in real life, do not approach, to not talk, just quietly kill them.
I thought the 5ch trainposter got debunked
can people in a medically induced coma feel pain?
I've heard about people being semi-conscious during it, but I'm not familiar whether that's applicable for medically induced ones
Depends what and how it's induced. Some shit just puts them under, you can also do more drugs at times since the patient won't have side effects that could make them violent or hallucinate while having the physical capacity to fuck shit up/pull out IV's or lie to doctors/family/etc.
Not a huge expert on all the ways comas are induced, but I do know they are often used to calm patients with severe trama or issues
Why did so many people die in this fire? What kind of a death trap office is it anyway?
>become the grey non-animated background characters
>run for exit, japanese firecodes are shit
>knife weilding maniac throwing gas on people and around the place
>ink, paper, everything needed to make a huge fire instantly right there
>japanese don't believe in sprinklers either
>all make way to the roof for air
>lol door locked because smoking concerns
>stuck with smoke filling the floors
>smoke kills more than the flames due to coating the lungs and suffocation
>people in panic fucking run out of O2 or reason faster
If you ever been to japan you know their laws and shit are often lacking in fire safety, which is weird seeing how Edo formed some of the first fire protection services. They count of fast response times by public services rather than worst case situations
because of 3rd world-tier Japanese fire safety codes.
It did but it takes 10 times longer for misinformation to clear up than it takes to spread it.
>> 191122311
A friend of mine was not in coma, but suffered some kind of general paralysis because of an aneurysm. She only could move her eyes during months and eventually she got her motor skills back slowly (she still can't walk, and talk properly tho).
But I asked her once if in that state she could felt pain, and she responded me: "Hell yeah, the damn nurses always burned my head when using the hairdryer and I desperately moved my eyes but they not always got it. When I was able to talk again, it was the first thing I reported to the hospital. "
I'm not sure if coma is the same but, she said that she felt everything but her body couldn't react to the stimulation, it was the worst feeling of her life. I hope comatose people can't feel anything because not being able to move your burned body, even in pain, must be hell.
It’s just like the Titanic, they prepared for many things, but the ship just grazing an iceberg was not one of them
It’s not like that one ferry that had a safety budget of $2
Hasnt another colorist been confirmed dead, besides Ishida Naomi
>it's not a big deal
It's still a pretty big deal because it means their burns are very serious.
Japanese people are HORRIBLE at critical thinking. Most are drilled in how to do X thing Y way and stick to it. The amount of times I get stupidly frustrated with japanese people is beyond count. do something random or slightly different? Welp grats you confused them the fuck out of everything.
That and Japanese always play the cheap card, it's ALWAYS better to save some cash and ask for forgiveness to fix it than it is to be prepared.
Like 8 of the things you wrote here are wrong
>3rd world tier
I'm living in a 3rd world shithole and we have better fire safety measures than KyoAni. It's also fucking stupid how they don't have emergency exit stairs for each floor.
I remember reading a story about a boy who was stuck in a coma for a few decades, but completely conscious - heard his mother wish he was dead right in front of him.
He recovered, but I can't imagine how hard that must be to deal with
Two open stairs allowed the thick, toxic smoke to go up above and fill both floors insanely fast.
Buildings usually have closed stairs with fire-proof doors on them to contain the fire in zones, this building was the exact opposite of that.
Now you're fucking crazy than the schizo.
Did the building even have a back door?
Although I agree with this about Japs, fire safety and things of the sort (airline safety, disease control) usually come about as a result of things that happened in the past - e.g. 9/11 resulted in the complete overhaul of the airport security system. Japan does not have fires very often, nor do they have incidences of terrorism very often. It probably doesn't occur to them that somebody could walk in the front door of an office and start killing people like we think about in America.
It's not a train poster. Train poster posted huge autistic rants and mostly hated them for Hibike.
The worst part will be waking up to discover all your friends and coworkers are dead.
The door wasn't locked. They just died/passed out on their way up the stairs because of the smoke filled the stairwell faster than they could get to the door.
I don't disagree but I don't know if the coma caused the problems in your case. An aneurysm can be pretty serious on its own. ex: >source: brother was in a medically induced coma in ICU for about the same amount of time, is perfectly fine now. similar situation with a cousin
I am more concern... how do we save our data in case fire outbreak?
Any fireproof method other than clouds? cannt use cloud because shitty connection speedcap on 3rd world country
Backup to hard drive regularly and store away from data location
kill yourself jojofag
Japan lowrise fire code is garbage
Having an all wood office wasn't a good idea
No fire sprinklers also not great
People who couldn't reach the balcony on 2F tried to goto the roof. The door wasn't locked it was just hard to open (not considered part of the exit path I'm assuming)
Lack of secondary escape path.
They didn't get stuck they all died when the 1st floor flashed over and rushed up the two open stairwells killing everyone still inside.
It isn't really the smoke but the extreme levels of CO and other invisible toxic gases in the smoke.
Building had plenty of O2 or the fire would go out on its own. Problem is CO stops you from using that O2.
Proper fire doors on the stairwells, sprinklers, smoke extraction, panic bars, an external/secondary staircase/ladder would have saved almost all occupants. Properly designed high rises can defend against fires for 3 hours in a low rise they just needed 30minutes at most to escape. But instead they had ~1 minute to jump as there was no other escape route.
I want Yea Forums to leave
It was a giant wood chimney throw a single match in there and the whole thing would have probably burned down in the same manner. Adding 20-40L of gas just accelerated it. Even in NA low rise commercial buildings have to have fire rated doors on stairwells. Just having doors instead of nothing would have saved all the lives in the upper floors. Sprinklers would have greatly delayed the flashover on 1F and minimize damage to fire barriers. Smoke extraction/pressurization would make it so even if a stairwell door was open smoke wouldn't go up it.
The problem is everything in Kyoto is like 100 years old
the biggest problem with Japan is the magnitude of how many houses they have constructed with flammable building material - changing the fire regulations would require a huge amount of updates to infrastructure that they just can't feasibly afford to do.
They won't change shit to their fire codes, and I guarantee there will be some bandaid fix maybe regulating gas sales or some bullshit
the studio was fairly new.
the architect must be 100 years old.
Well a band aid fix would be to give people escape masks at their desks. Gives you 30mins of toxic gas/CO catalytic conversion so you can walk through dense smoke without passing out.
>Building full of flammable things
>No fire sprinkler
Most of those victim is probably died because of the smoke rather than burning alive.
I hope KyoAni exec held resposbility as well.
not going to shit against the intense heat of 40L of gasoline
Studio was built 10 years ago
Enough to open the roof door without passing out. Most died to the CO gas not the fire.
Also the gasoline was nothing compared to the massive amount of wood/paper/plastic. One empty cubical has the same energy content as 40L of gas and they had jam packed desks. The fire would be very manageable if it was just 40L of gasoline burning in a pure concrete building given gasoline burns fairly clean compared to wood which produces flammable gases of its own when burned and is extremely sooty compared to gasoline.
>Most died to the CO gas not the fire.
that's just false - most recent report on NHK said that most of the victims died by burns.
They built it to code you can see glass fire/smoke screens around the deadly spiral staircase on the roof which is supposed to slow the spread of smoke rising up the stairs. It was just not required to install sprinklers or doors on staircases for some dumb reason.
If they did not get overcome by the smoke they could have escaped. They became incapacitated by the smoke CO and died when the building flashed over. The escape mask would have prevented them from being overcome and trapped inside. Cause of death may be officially burns but CO/smoke poisoning trapped them in place.
>The arsonist remains in hospital in critical condition.
We must treat the fucker back to full health, then slowly burn him alive again. I used to think that Black Jack chapter was retarded, but justice must be served.
That is all semantics. The fire killed them by incinerating their bodies but the smoke/CO knocked them out.
Yes but their mentality is 100 years old I mean. The studio interior is all bamboo wood feng shui shit.
If KyoAni would have hired a security guard to check their guests from going in and out of the building, this wouldn't happen.
Security guards cost ongoing money. Passive security/fire protection is just capex which can be amortized over the life of the building. Hiring people to do physical security is an ongoing expense. In the long run it can get very expensive especially if you have multiple sites.
Better would be to use a passive mantrap lobby so the secretary can screen guests. You have a keycard on the front door and a keycarded door on the inside on the other side of the lobby. That way assailants would be contained to one area and you can re-use staff that you need anyways.
I think that at least one motherfucking attention seeker will create a isekai manga with arsonist trying to escape and animators trying to revenge.
This isn't america.
People in Japan usually can do their job without the fear of getting raped, robbed or murdered.
Just hire strong animators that can double as guards
Wasn't the anneurysm what fucked her up then?
>no fire escape
>no fire doors
That building was fucking shit.
Hopefully Japan learn from it and update their building regulations.
What's with all the edgy punisher larp? The law must be equal to everyone or you might as well move to Somalia.
Japan has a shit ton of security
>stairs connecting 3/F to rooftop: 19 dead
Did they all die because the door was locked?
Some other user went into it but it would just take too much money to bring every building up to a new standard. They won't do shit about it but impose some kind of band-aid fix.
They think they sound cool
The worst part will be waking up to discover you don't have an arm or a leg, and look like an avocado raped with a blowtorch
When will Japan have its first School shooting
The door was not locked but reportedly hard to open. It was just the perfect cocktail to fuck things up as much as possible.
>but me, I'm completely sane for thinking like this!
Uh oh
You are fucking retarded.
It was a glass door, if that was it they could have broken through
Most likely someone lost consciousness at the top and having to climb over while the smoke had nowhere to go caused everyone else to pass out too.
Not any of their fault.
Toxic
Maybe once they get guns
You fuck off
A lot of it probably has to do with the fact that animators don't expect to be targeted with violence in their place of work. I work in a place where we have actual crazies on a fairly regular basis and I still don't know what the fuck I'd do if somebody came in with a gasoline canister and a bunch of knives.
Don't the policemen usually just have nothing to do? That's why they play around with kids dressed on blue yellow and red all the time.
So any seiyuu confirmed yet?
The thing about guys like these is that they probably never even end up killing the guy who caused all of this
Pedophiles wtf
So it was reported that people were “missing,” now are they part of the 34 dead or are there still unidentified bodies?
The train thing was fake you retard
>34
Jesus fuck it grows everytime I look
>19 dead pointed right at the stairs to the rooftop
This is still forever the most terrifying part of this all.
Off-site backups, that's what they are for.
Follow the 3-2-1 rule.
>Keep at least THREE copies of your data
You know how the cruel the universe can be. When your main storage fails the backup also will fail because God hates you. So always keep at least two backups of your information.
>Keep the backed-up data on TWO different storage types
Like a Hard Drive and a CD, or a Hard Drive and a Tape. Don't put everything in the same type of media.
>Keep at least ONE copy of the data offsite
If your house burns and your backups are there you are screwed.
An example of how to do it
jwz.org
34 is the total count. They're all identified.
All bodies have been identified now.
what about Yasuhiro Takemoto?
he's the only one I truly care about
Meet a dude who had an induced coma for rabies as a child, 40 fucking days and the dude is fully functional.
Literally one of the few 20 human beings to survive rabies, he is kinda cool.
He had to get surgery on his face from the burns, now he looks like this
THIS!!!
WE NEED ANOTHER 10 THREADS OF THE SAME SHIT ON THE FRONT PAGE!!!
Let's hope none of them are weebs who follows this event
Ebin.
This tragedy is the greatest argument on why we need to arm everyone. Open carry and gun ownership should be a mandatory civic duty. Why won't idiots see that? Why do they actively work against their own interests and refuse to be able to defend themselves and their family? What sorta cuck thinking is that? Might as well leave the door unlocked and a signpost saying "please rape my daughter and my wife before killing me"
This. American animators would have shot the arsonist before he even walks through the door.
I know you're being facetious, but illegal trespassing is a thing and should be met with deadly force. Doesn't matter if it's a man, child or cat, never let an offense slide, or people will start walking all over you.
the room reach flashpoint almost instantly, the walls were on fire
the fire was ignited by a stungun because a dumb bitch didn't know the smell of gasoline
>illegal trespassing is a thing and should be met with deadly force
imagine how different the world would be if only the native americans did this
They did all the time. They lost.
>illegal
But they didn't, and got pretty much wiped out as a consequence. Just like tragedies in Japan and Europe where nobody could stop the bad guy in time.
>They didn't get stuck they all died when the 1st floor flashed over and rushed up the two open stairwells killing everyone still inside.
I'm not sure people are really getting the monumental fuck up this event encompasses, so I want to draw their attention to this. The fact that most of the deaths, all but two I think, were directly from the fire is completely at odds with what usually happens. Usually it's that next bit, the part about extreme CO and invisible toxic gases that gets people. People are only directly burned to death in fires on this scale when something goes as fucking wrong as it did in this instance.
Someone already pointed out that they burned to death but they passed out from the smoke before that (if you pass out from smoke you're not really dead yet but if you just don't move from being passed out then yes you'll just burn to death, not to mention the long-term after effects of actually inhaling that much smoke)
If the fucking door were easier to open, just think about how many of those people could have been saved.
There's only one way in and out of my workplace, so believe me, I'm hoping.
That is pretty interesting. How did he survive? How do you even begin to fight rabies as a medical professional?
>How do you even begin to fight rabies as a medical professional?
You administer the rabies vaccine if it's available and pray.
confirmed? no
although, there's that one rookie seiyuu from aoni or something
the hibike main casts are all safe at least
Who cares lol
>some of the top animators get burned
>Yea Forums
I mean who does? it's not like it's an anime board or anything right
If it's ever properly announced, I would think that the death of Yoshiji Kigami would cause an uproar. That guy's career goes back over 30 years, he even worked on Akira. That's an industry veteran that started his career in tje long gone analog age with decades of experience under his belt and who probably would have been with us working for some decades more, horrifically murdered and gone forever.
>I would think that the death of Yoshiji Kigami would cause an uproar
As opposed to the lack of uproar at present.
You because you posted in this thread
Based moeshit remover
It seems like we'll be going through the list one at a time at this rate. Has it been a week already without clear confirmation on some people?
I think what happened was, they never made it to the door, it was too high up, the smoke made the person in front pass out, so they blocked the way for the next person, etc. until 19 of them ended up piling up on the stairs.
God bless niggers for stealing your shit if you leave the door unlocked for 30 seconds. Any country with them will surely develop good security measures.
I knew somebody would take a jab at my phrasing there but I think that more people would be impacted by this on a deeper level if they realized that one of the crew behind one of the most popular and renowned anime feature films of all time was killed in this incident.
I thought Japan has the death penalty
I don't know what else you could ask for,, all these asks for torture are rediculous and I can't take them seriously
The vaccine only works if it's injected within a few days of getting infected. Past that the only way is to induce a coma and hope the body can fight it, while helping it by supplying it with antivirals.
Japanese aren't that cheap, other asian countries maybe but Japan is wealthy enough that they're beyond caring about being cheap
Maybe it's just because I'm an oldfag but the fantasies about torturing and killing the guy don't do anything for me, I think he deserves the death penalty which he is almost certainly facing if he survives his stay in the hospital but him dying won't bring back those people he killed. So, suffice to say, it doesn't give me a whole lot of comfort personally.
so 34 ppl in isekai land now
15 vegetables
Bump

Rumors that it was Munto.
You know how the exchange rate of yen to dollars is ~100 to 1 because of fast progress of the nation from a developing nation where 1yen bought you something to 1st world nation and they haven't normalized it yet.
Well same thing happened with construction, they still have hangups from their shithole nation status in how buildings are made, old buildings especially suffer from this. And they have to use ovens to keep rooms warm + they use kotatsus.
>everything about Yen
No, it's just because they don't bother having a sub-denomination like countries using dollars do. We say our base unit, a dollar, is made up of 100 cents. They essentially just deal in cents.
>living in the 3rd world shithole
>inspectors would never allow this kind of building without proper safety
>even if you don't have a proper amount of extinguishers or things like picrelated, you are fucked
At least he will die from getting set on fire by one of the kyoani employees that chased him down. I hope that one pulled through if they are still alive.
With all this "isekai this, isekai that" in this thread, thinking about it, has KyoAni ever even done an isekai show?
I can't believe how gullible people are today, repeating hearsay and fake rumours like facts for weeks even after being told or shown it's misinformation
>wake up wondering where you are, what day it is
Isn't that normal?
I sleep in different beds across the week, and usually need a little while to realize where I currently am.
>Any fireproof method other than clouds?
Heat-resistant bricks, mineral wool, reflective shielding, gas fire retardant systems, and ventilation cut-off in case of emergency. Don't forget the fireproof door.
They are more likely to shoot themselves to end the suffering than to shoot up a school.
>The arsonist remains in hospital in critical condition.
Really hope the guy recovers and finishes the job, but at least we won't be hearing anything about any Kyoanus moetrash garbage.
Amagi park

How was that isekai?
Also CTRL+F'd the Japanese wiki page to make sure I wasn't mixing it up.
No 異世界 to be found.

Hoist with his own petard, philistine.
Can you lose consciousness that fast? There was some survivor who was on the second floor, saw the smoke pouring in from the first floor, went to the third floor and seeing as there was no escape he and some other guy decided to jump and survived the fall. I don't know, but it seems to me that people had enough time to do things at least for a couple of minutes before getting knocked out, maybe those people who died on the way to the roof just got stuck, or maybe they did try to open the door but they were too weak at that point?
RIP Hero
No, they haven't. This is Kyoani, not some soulless literally who studio that'll be gone in 2 years. Just a bunch of ironic redditors looking for updoots.
>That is pretty interesting. How did he survive? How do you even begin to fight rabies as a medical professional?
its called the milwaukee protocol and is basically grasping at straws for a chance of survival, rabies is generally 100% lethal once the symptoms are visible and that's why you should get a shot ASAP if a wild animal scratches you
>en.wikipedia.org
>The Milwaukee protocol, sometimes referred to as the Wisconsin protocol,[76][77] is a method of attempted treatment of rabies infection in a human being. The treatment involves putting the person into a chemically induced coma and giving antiviral drugs. Jeanna Giese, who in 2004 was the first patient treated with the Milwaukee protocol,[74] became the first person ever recorded to have survived rabies without receiving successful post-exposure prophylaxis. An intention-to-treat analysis has since found this protocol has a survival rate of about 8%.[78] The protocol is not an effective treatment for rabies and its use is not recommended.[79]
>has a survival rate of about 8%
>If the fucking door were easier to open
That's why fire axes exist.
Biggest issue is that they had no fire zones, once the inferno erupted on the first floor there were no barriers preventing the smoke and heat from spreading to the rest of the building in a matter of seconds. Just the cheapest 5 minute proof barriers would have made all the difference. Having doors in hallways is annoying, but fires like this proves why its a good idea. External fire escape routes would have been nice too
>is that they probably never even end up killing the guy who caused all of this
For the mass murder, 98% that he will be hanged.
They stopped using nitrate cels in the US in the 50s. I have to believe Japan had also switched over to acetate cels by the time KyoAni came along.
>if a wild animal scratches you
I thought rabies was transmitted through bites or saliva or something.
That's why open-space is a heresy.
I don't particularly give a flying fuck abt this case but I would rather watch their "moetrash" than isekai shit.
>I thought rabies was transmitted through bites or saliva or something.
ever seen animals clean their paws?
It all depends on the concentration of gases. CO can knock you out after one breath if there's enough of it. The stairwell likely acted like a chimney and funnelled most of the smoke to the top, trapping and concentrating it right in front of the roof door.
So when is the list going public?
Never.
>This is Kyoani, not some soulless literally who studio that'll be gone in 2 years.
Well, frankly said, KyoAni had been gone for a few years now.
I doubt there would have been many great shows coming up, if this hadn't happened.
They only had fujoshit and burgershit in the pipeline.
It's really a shame about the studio, and this is a fucking tragedy, that should not have happened, but they had factually already committed suicide anyway.
Never seen the funnel before, whats its use in fire prevention?
That's a hat, user.
>mass killing unmarried virgin women who still in their early 20s
no way. His death will be extremely painful
well they could at least update the fire code so new buildings would have to follow them so it could gradually improve
uhh, i guess it protects your hair which is flammable as fuck, but wouldn't some flame retardant cloth hat be better in terms of storage?
>Be kyoani exec
>Someone burning the studio
>ohno.jpg

>Paying nothing to worker that died because they're under national insurance program so the gov will pay for it
> Illegal trespassing is a thing and should be met with deadly force
No it shouldn't you fucking monkey. You're not even talking burglary, you're talking trespassing.
> Stranger walks through unlocked company door
> This is grounds to shoot him on the spot
Are you retarded?
He might be from burgerland where doing such stuff is legal.
Yes? It would have prevented this and you know it.
It would have gotten every new employee shot on their first day at work.
It's a bucket. The pointy bottom is to force lazy people to hang it on its hook where people can find it, and to discourage idiots from using it for other purposes.
No, because they are issued cards to enter, there's announcement that they're starting that day and is probably shown around by the employer. And in Japan, for small size firms it's common to hold an introduction for new people
>american animators
implying purple haired landwhales from tumblr own a gun
>I have a package for 28 Dango street, is this the lobby--
>*kablam*
>This is 29 Dango street, bitch.
Good thing most KyoAni background characters are actually animated and/or have actual character designs.
I like to think the geniuses behind Steven Universe and Adventure Time are huge second amendment fans
Entirely justified in this dangerous world We live in. People don't just enter places they're not supposed to be by accident
>People don't just enter places they're not supposed to be by accident
Is this bait
Oh yeah, why don't we also put a fucking automatic gun turret at the front door.
When's the last time you found yourself in a nuclear plant, army base or bank vault?
It would also get a shitton of more people shot every fucking day than this incident did.
>an animation studio requires the same security level as any of these
That's the price for freedom and security. Besides, they're japs. Too polite to start shit.
Corporate espionage/sabotage is a thing you know
You are a fucking idiot and you know it. Why don't you just give a blowjob to your Glock.
I'm sure Sunrise is hacking KyoAni
I'd be more worried about Koreans and Chinese competitors. Animation studios are rising fast in these countries, and they're not afraid to get dirty.
Now, you see, you're losing your composure. Had we been face to face chances are you would attack me. But fortunately I have a gun and is trained to use it to defend myself against your unjust aggression and rage.
>Never.
It will be pretty fucking obvious in time who's dead when they never get credited for work again, among other things. This is idiotic.
And for using it against anyone without one you would get +10 years to life in prison in any civilized country.
Nope. "Stand your ground" and castle doctrine makes my action morally justified as well as legally right.
Will not fly in anywhere but US. You just don't shoot someone unarmed unless you are a police officer and even then there will be an investigation if it was justified.
Look at the clock!
Which in this case is, since you attacked me with intent to maim, maybe even kill me.
Any way, the point is, if the receptionist was armed, he/she could have shot him the moment he started screaming.
What monster uses Kumin to shitpost?
>work for Kyoani
>get reincarnated into Shaft classroom filler
That would be the ultimate ironing.
>The rounded bottom results in a strong, directed stream of water when the water is thrown at the fire. The rounded-bottom bucket is far more efficient in launching the water at the fire than a flat bottom bucket.

Who is this autism?
Finally a good answer, thanks user
I hate this picture. There is no joke. No punchline or clever set-up. It's just a racial slur hodgepodged together with a cropped shot of a girl in a manga. You know that it is most DEFINITELY the case that the original artist never dared to use a word as vulgar as this here. No. Some autist came along and scanned and set his "epic meme" over someone else's original content. And so another autist comes along and removes all context from this image and we are left starting at this. This dogshit. This affront against what it means to be a comedian. An actual assault on everything that I value. That's what this image represents. People that find this sort of low-brow low effort shit funny are themselves the lowest common denominator. What happened to our board? This website has been pillaged for all it was worth by zoomers. Everything turned to shit once Moot abandoned us. We're left with posters that have such diluted senses of humor that this is what is considered "comedy". Meme culture is destroying this country. Zoomers were a mistake. Omnicide should have occured at the start of this century. God I hate zoomers and their garbage sense of humor. But I hate this image more. It represents what is fundamentally wrong with the world that we live in and the posters on this board. And I loathe that it exists.
>the price for security is killing the people you protect
based and ussr-pilled
But we don't care about "other people". Only our families and friends are important and by God, it's our duty as men to protect them. Not some random stranger.
It's kind of funny but I think that's enough for now user.
HOLY SHIT SOMEONE SET THE KINKAKUJI OF KYOTO ON FIRE
Names when? I want a sticky for Takemoto ;_;
>$2,182,700
why is donation money so little
if it was disney it would be $200 millions at least
isn't anime mainstream
Yeah, with teens.
Good luck shooting someone when you can't see or breathe due to smoke
Only shonens and memeshows like AoT and OPM.
If it's gone that far, you fucked up somewhere
Fuck that building and fuck whoever who build it.
I hope thefamilies sue the shit oit of the owner and the city.
>I hope thefamilies sue
Japan isn't US. The building also passed the inspection
Good pay piggy get your white pigu friends to donate
Don't pet strays, even stray puppies.
Some tourist who was only like 24 years old, died petting a stray puppy in the Philippines from Rabies.
It doesn't need a bite for rabies to spread. Minor scratch can spread rabies as well.
>Sentai Works fundraising
>US$2,182,220 to the campaign since it launched seven days ago

gaijin is inept
Holy fuck.
Is he still alive?
His skin look yellow, it doesn't seem like he got roasted too badly.
Last summer a tourist here went to thailand and being the good samaritan she was she started cleaning up a stray puppy, when she returned home she started getting sick and died just days after getting diagnosed (we haven't had rabies here in ages so we had to send the sample to another country for analysis). Worst part is that she was a hospital lab tech, she should know better.
Solution: don't go to subhuman shitholes.
All those retards going to "discovering" travels to shitholes doing shit and even beggin money to the locals to keep traveling should get what they deserve, humiliating consecuences.
>the one guy who donated 1 million yen
the absolute mad man.
These kind of deaths by violence are very rare in Japan. They have many years with 0 gun deaths in a country with +100 million people. You’re ridiculous scenario would lead to a catastrophic number of deaths. If everyone has a gun on them at all times every dispute becomes a potential shooting.
It's not a competition, it's good that people everywhere are so generous
>it's been great global exposure
>Hell the incident was even on the front page of the New York Times
It was also on major shows like local news and the Today show.
I don't know if any talk show hosts mentioned about KyoAni

Nope. I’m a security guard and we train for this issue. Basically, you’re only 100% in the clear if there is an imminent threat to life, and the person has got to be in the act of attacking. If he’s spreading the gas I can subdue him, but I can only shoot him if he has the match in his hands. You’d actually be surprised at how quickly someone going where they shouldn’t while screaming will get dog piled to the point they can barely move, no gun necessary.
Wouldn't shooting with all that gas around just ignite it anyway?
B-b-b-but we need to focus on the victims rather than the killer, that's why you shouldn't announce who the victims are and talk about the killer 24/7
What the fuck? What is there for him to even do? All of their materials got fucking torched in that fire. His computer and all his work is gone. The news probably just meant he went to see everyone.
They have other studios
Imagine getting a 24/7 live coverage of the killer's life. What was his favorite train line is etc
>They are gonna reveal all the names in a panel show in japanese tv, ranking them from 34th to 1th on importance and removing a sticker from a cardboard to discover the next death and talk about them

I know, but he was officially stationed in Studio 1. Just because he is ok to go back to work doesn't mean they automatically have a work station already set up for him with all the shit he was probably working on. Especially if all their materials were lost, what could he possibly be doing at this point?
Please be baiting
Well it wasn't their land.
I'm all for arming the proletariat but can't you see we're in mourning here.
being him out of coma and let him enjoy bare skingraft

they tried, but we had more guns
Knowing Japanese TV it's not a weird possibility

Bullshit, Snake went on a killing spree the second he woke up from 9 years coma.
I have a feeling that in some parallel timelines somewhere, this actually happen.
look at you user, being so smart and all..
fuck you, fuck off
bullets igniting gasoline is mostly a videogame thing.
My aunt had an aneurysm one day at work and had to be sent to the hospital after a few days of complaining about headaches. She was in a coma for two weeks and then had a seizure one morning and was declared braindead, so there was little point keeping her on life support. Still fucks me up just thinking about it.
>They aired a Shirobako episode today at TokyoMX

It was reverse isekai.
>died petting a stray puppy in the Philippines from Rabies

Why the fuck would anyone willingly go there? The fact that women marry disgusting fat old white men just to get out should be telling enough.
He did get his revenge. He killed the people who stole his works.
How are you holding up, user? Are you doing okay?
>All of their materials got fucking torched in that fire
They didn't lose everything though, only those in studio1.
>The laywer for KyoAni mentions that while almost all of the paper materials from studio 1, not all of the paper materials and data were stored in studio 1. They're still checking to see if they can salvage the data from the studio.
That said if you were one of the survivor, wouldn't you want to actually finish their last work? If anything they would be even more passionate to complete the whole fucking project before committing sudoku to join them.
They were talking about Megumu Ohno again on TV Asahi, other screencaps incoming

Where's that doomanon who bitched because one of the american distributors of anime made the call on twitter for fans of Kyoani to make paper cranes for them as a gesture of sympathy? Do you have a problem with the Japanese doing it?
>He doesn't know the sad ballad of Megumu Ohno
Ok here we go again:
>Megumu Ohno, she was only 21 years old.
>Her name was only starting to appear in ending credits.
>Friends remember her drawing during breaks at school
>Preferred drawing over doing some after-school sports/music club
>She took part-time jobs in high school to save up money for the KyoAni animator school
>Part-time job boss remember her being super friendly and hard worker at the cash register
>She trained for a year in animator school, where the homework was so tough at times that she pulled all-nighters trying to draw satisfactorily
>Landed her dream job with KyoAni.
>She worked on the third floor of studio 1.
>Her grandparents went out for shaved ice and shopping with her in the week prior.
>When they asked her about giving them a great-grandchild, she said, "I can't get married yet," and devoted herself to work.
>Never transported to a hospital
>Listed among the missing
>Her parents visited where the bodies are being kept but they couldn't identify her
>ID is now pending DNA results
>“She was my pride,” the man, Kazuo Okada, 69, said of his granddaughter, Megumu Ohno. “Her name started appearing on the screens of anime movies. I was so happy to see that. I was proud of her. I want to see her face soon.”
>He said his 21 years old granddaughter has been working for KyoAni for 2 years and she seems to work on the 3rd floor, but in the morning he found her name on the missing list. The grandpa met her 1 week ago." She always says she's working hard, she's happy to see her name in the movie, and recently she bought me a fan book with her own money as a gift, as she knew I'm a fan of that baseball club"
Her name was Megumu Ohno.
So is Takemoto alive?
Anyone has the Liz drawing save?
he's alive in whatever random isekai airing next season.
7 year vacation in India.
Can someone post a list of the names in romanji so we can search the web for their work?
What info do we have on the Ikeda sisters?
We don't have the official list released, who knows when it will happen (Except if it's leaked to the media).
Identified, but not revealed.
>Her parents visited where the bodies are being kept but they couldn't identify her
Imagine the horror that gripped them as they went to the hospital, anxious of the idea of walking in to a room of charred corpses of people who were your daughter/granddaughters peers and immediately seeing her, only to not recognize any of the bodies. Imagine the wash of relief, but also terror that one of them could probably be her, but maybe not, but maybe be her just that she is so burned you cannot recognize her. This shit is why Shinji Aoba needs to be sentenced immediately.

>all people in their 50s are alive
Based boomers
If he dies of his own burns he accidentally inflicted, then that'll be the end of it and we will all just have to move on. Either he dies now, or dies later when they hang him. Either way, Aoba will be punished with his own death and justice will be served. Let the dead bury the dead.
Some did.
Kitanohara Noriyuki did and only got this burn on his arm
I think that's just a bruise even.
With how hard she was working, she would have made it
So is the dragon maid director dead?
Thats a bruise, most likely inflicted from his jump. Thankfully he got out right as the fire was settling on the second floor.
That was what the survivors did do.
It was the aneurysm not the coma that caused her not able to speak.
KyoAni doesn't have many staff in 50.
Ishihara is the only one I can think of.
And maybe Joji Unoguchi.
I am pretty sure the kill rate was 100% for the 3rd floor. Pretty much all the survivors were from the people that jumped on the second floor while the people on the first floor escaped with bad fire burn.
Kigami is dead.
I hope Japan learns from this and tightens up it's fire code a little bit.
These people didn't a snowballs chance in hell.
Or the people in the first floor rushed the back stairs, trying to get to the roof, but eventually succumbing to the smoke and flames, while most of the second and third were the ones who jumped.
Her drawings were nice
>instagram com/me_oono/
>It was Christmas. Santa did not come. Merry christmas
>I don't want to become a sister Santa
>He hasn't come

I wonder if that Kaede work at KyoAni too, they were friends and shared the same Owl pic at avatar.
>19 people were found dead piled on their way to the roof on the 3rd floor
>11 people were found spread throughout the 2nd floor, with one person found on the staircase leading to the 3rd floor
>3 people were found on the first floor, probably dead from the initial explosion
Jesus, this is horrifying.
>The arsonist remains in hospital in critical condition.
Imagine being a nurse or a doctor and having to treat this guy knowing what he's done, Don't know how some could do it.
>zoomers just remember Takemoto as Dragon Maid director
this makes me mad
I'm bet they spit in his meds
I don't think they're sisters.
>同社所属の池田晶子と血縁上の繋がりはない。
Such a waste of talent. Will Instagram take her page down? What is their policy on pages of people who have died?
>オオノ カエデ
It's her little sister.
>Will Instagram take her page down?
I would hope not.
Imagine having to uphold the hippocratic oath and do your job? Yeah, how terrible. Laws shouldn't be equal.
The people on the first floor probably got the worst of it with the fire starting there. Did the poor receptionist that had to deal with Aoba before he lit up the place make it? They probably could give some good insight into how the arson started.
And remember the one who died burn alive and alone at the recording studio room
Imagine that she couldn't hear anything from the outside, see the flames and can't open the door because it got too hot to be open.
not public yet, they probably just told the families
They need closure, they need to know why he did it. I really don't want to believe the 2ch theory that he did it because kyoani stole his imaginary idea which made him stopped writing his fanfic. That is just too stupid, even dumber than a Olympic terrorist.
>o.Kaede
>Ohno Kaede
you just make it even more sad goddamit
I'm talking about Kazumi and Shouko obviously.
Fuck, really? Her last moments must have been the most terrifying. At least with the others, they at least heard one another and had some comfort of being with each other. She was by herself and burned alive without even knowing why.
Are we still on the fucking windows shit?
The rumored Seiyuu being there it's possible to be a VA student doing a test. Maybe the youngest of the victims (20s). Also from the top floor, people from other companies were to the meeting, so maybe someone from a book company or music record company was there too.
Damn they should have all jumped out a window
>I still don't know what the fuck I'd do if somebody came in with a gasoline canister and a bunch of knives.
Arm yourself and always remember to carry a gun?
I need to take a walk and contemplate my life after this incident.
Off-topic but does anybody know how amazon.jp works? I want to order some Kyoto Animation but it's like triple the price of regular amazon. I assume the studio makes more profit from it as it's not licensed to some shitty burgersubbing studio.
As far as I know, most of KyoAni's recent works are out of stock at the moment due to being bought out after the fire.
Animation itself is absurdly expensive in Japan. If you want to show support, some merch might be a better choice. I snagged some figmas in Akiba this week. A reminder for the shelf, plus more direct financial support than buying locally licensed stuff.
Don't buy off amazon at all. The bastards take something like a 30% cut. Buy directly from the Kyoani store. Also buy their digital wallpapers instead, it'll be less hassle for them.
That is from Kazumi's sakuga page.
>is not a blood relative of Ikeda Shouko who works at the same company
Yes but I actually want to own the blu-rays desu
Go to Kyoanishop and buy the stuff there.
>they still promoting the November event
Someone should tell Hatta to update their shop website
What if we arm everyone with chainsaws so they can cut a hole in the walls to escape from?
My whole life was a lie.
In that case it might be easier to get a local release, then import some merch to go with it. You'll probably have better odds of finding stock at the moment, not to mention the price.
It isn't that easy to light the whole thing up without burning yourself so he would need to distance himself from the gasoline. You probably have like 20-30s between the time he poured the gasoline before he lighted up his lighter from his pocket if he was using the standard lighter to bear tackle him. Also the gasoline smell is obvious, just like your standard petrol station so you will know when he entered instantly.
He was the faggot who ruined Dragon maid.
Genius, replacing lost limbs with chainsaws so they can escape from the next fire!
www18.atwiki.jp/sakuga/pages/780.html
Why not simply replace their skin with some fireproof and heatproof material too?
the only thing that matters was the loss of talented human lives. who gives a shit about what moe guano they'd pump out in the next year - it's all the same when you're burnt to a charred husk.
Are you fucking trolling? That's says no relation to Akiko Ikeda. I was talking about Kazumi and Shouko.
>1th
Fuck, man
Some talkshow in my country talked bout the kyoanus incident and how the arsonist is a misogynist for killing a lot of women, showing how the patriachy opress them, like the lives of the males who died were worth nothing.
>It would also get a shitton of more people shot every fucking day than this incident did.
At least it will mostly be random criminals and school bullies who get shot while more important people and places will be protected.
I'll remember Kigami, I will dammit.
>Well, frankly said, KyoAni had been gone for a few years now.
Autism.
>burgershit
>literally had anime original and Meiji era anime planned
晶子 can be read both ways, among other names.
Of course but some people might feel a type of way, It depends on the person I guess.
I think he was a nut job, Didn't he have previous for armed or just robbery? Would an author be doing stuff like robbery on a store.
Nice country you got there
I work as an architect in japan, the minimum safety is for a closed, fireprotected staircase. this staircase needs to be accessed from any point in a room, at a maximum distance of 50m. that staircase if enclosed, it complies with regulation, and this is the common regulation in every country with some variations. If that building had 1 more floor, it would need an exterior staircase.
bring 40 liters of gasoline there
>country
Just say america, can't fool anyone
me too
America's a joke not a country
KyoAni had good artists and nice animation talent. Their adaption choices were trashy and atrocious since about 2015
VE was good.
They weren't trashy even if not like their old ones. How many times do people have to say that isn't their fault?
This. How the fuck can you elect someone for fucking president who says shit like "grab em by the pussy"?
>idn't he have previous for armed or just robbery?
Dunno if it was armed but he was confirmed to be mentally ill and had done time in jail for robbery.
Kumiko from Hibike
If I recall correctly somebody posted on Twitter that they had a student seiyuu who was killed in the fire, before either realizing or being informed of the silence thing and taking it down. Assuming it wasn't either a sound engineer or someone who ran in there in a panic it was probably her.
The Eupho novels and Koe no Katachi are certainly not trashy, and their recent light novel selections are no more or less than their light novel adaptations of the past, or Key VNs or yonkoma adaptations.
>America's a joke not a country
That joke created everything you love today. Anime? American paved the way. Video games? America paved the way. Manga? America paved the way.
The Japanese empire wouldn't have gave the world shit if they didn't bow their heads and admit defeat in WW2. They'd be be another communist shithole in the current year.
Disney wouldn't have a non-code building filled with physical backups all in one location.. They're also much, much, much bigger than Kyoani
Isn't this fake?
Calm down user. She's just a lesbian in heat.
>Their adaption choices were trashy and atrocious since about 2015
Why do autists sperg out so much over this? You have plenty of studios adapting kusokawa shit, why does kyoani need to do that too?
Chunibyou and Evergarden novels aren't trashy either.
I'll admit Karachi wasn't that bad. Actually the best thing they'd done in years. Now they're back on another boring streak. Eupho is boring female drama that amounts to nothing.
It was a code building. Problem was the code was shit.
>Actually this gullible
And here i thought the average IQ in this place is a little higher.
code by actual standards, not japanese standards
Katachi*
Good.
>Karachi
heh
>Takahashi in the parrot case
What does that mean
>The Eupho novels
You'd have to be a girl or a faggot who's attracted to the female designs solely to give a shit about this. Or a nerd who just got out of his/her highschool band (kek) to like this. It's boring as fuck, generic melodrama and NOTHING is accomplished
I thought the same at first but japanese tv news also show it so it must be real.
>This shit is why Shinji Aoba needs to be sentenced immediately.
Probably not. Not even this dude got brutalized for what he did.
Pixar actually lost most of the Toy Story 2, and only reason they were backupped was that some employee had been working on them at home.
Was he refering to Phoenix Wright? He's a confirmed rised up gamer and I don't remember any other parrot case outside there.
Honestly, no idea. A some kind of euphemism for a total nutjob maybe.
He talks just like the common man on the street. Shows he's genuinely one of us
>Probably not
How much of a tourist are you for not knowing the Japanese Judicial System and their Death Penalty methods?
Pretty sure he got beaten up when he got to prison, either by guards or other inmates on his way to solitary.
Fuck off. The authentically acted out and stylized performances are some the best entertainment anime has to off. You can't fucking appreciate this medium.
I haven't read the novels, but I enjoy the show for its relatable characters and themes of talent, motivation, competition, etc. Plus I think its visual qualities are really great. And that's not to mention Liz, which is one of my favourite movies in years.
>a faggot who's attracted to the female
nowadays, gringoland is a joke of a country
Wut? What kind of shithole is that?
All that guy did was remove kebab. Hardly as bad as killing talented individuals from a superior race.
> lowest floor was the safest one
a shell f what it used to be a country with values before the muslim came to us
Because the common men finally found their champion who said and acted like them instead of an out-of-touch establishment's puppet?
Yes, such a joke that their power is 4x greater than anyone's on the planet still.
gases and smoke go up always, user. People in the 2nd and 3rd floor were doomed
Yet for some reason, we own trillions to China.
I guess I have to say thanks to Obama and Trump for that
>common man
Not everyone is a degenerate like that.
And yet they all ran to the stairs instead of going for the balcony.
Thanks to Trump China's economy has stagnated for the first time in in over 20 years.
You can't execute a mentally ill man in coma.
If so, he can sue the state and get a shit load of money.
Ignorance is a Bliss, I guess?
They could've made it if they reached the roof
and that's why we are a joke, because the only way to stop them is by sanctioning them
>Not everyone is a degenerate like that.
Yeah, keep trying to distance yourself from the working class. That's why you guys lost last time and will loose the next too.
>Saying a sexualized word likes how every user say he want to bang seasonal anime waifus
>degenerate
Sure, saint-o
The rest of the world needs to start fucking again to compete. It's now considered normal and ideal to not have children in America and Japan. China is banking off this incompetent idea
same reason why lots of dead kiddies usually end up in the bathrooms of burning houses
>not wanting to ensure that he spends the final years of his life suffering in solitary confinement and awaiting an execution that could happen any day
Death would be the easy way out. He should have to face the consequences, and the hatred he has gained worldwide.
Didn't the Kyoani president ask the police not to release names? The nerve of that faggot.
There is nothing wrong with sanctions though. It's a humane way to correct rogue states' behaviors. The alternative is war.
There was already a first hand account stating how the smoke fucked up visibility in no time.
Add panicking people and the smoke which is liable to knock you the fuck out, and you would have needed all the luck in your life to be at the windows when the gasoline was set ablaze to even have a chance of making it out.
Even then, the LD50 from the 4th floor (the roof) is 50%. It's a 50/50 chance on dying if they'd jumped from that height. You can mitigate it somewhat by just dropping off, but that's about it.
If you've seen videos of the fire, you'd also see how much smoke there was. Staying on the roof was better in that it would buy time, but it was still a death sentence if they had stayed.
>prisoner that killed a bunch of innocent civilians
>ever having the moral high ground to sue for anything
topkek
Yes, he did.
I guess grieving family members privacy doesn't matter to you, retard.
>rogue state
>1.5 billion people
>going to pass U.S. in GDP and technological advancements soon
21st century will belong to Asia, like it or not
He's leaving it up to the families to announce it if they choose. It would diminish the dead to have them all released together and be just another name on a list
The families of the victims are having a hard enough time already without constantly getting swarmed by journalists trying to get interviews.
romaji
japs have a designated suicide forest and mental fuck ups like Eren and Aoba are very rare.
Nothing really new on the news
think of all the children that lost one of their parents on that day must be pretty fking horrible
Japanese only gives out news on things that is certain. We are spoiled by the American news coverage culture.
He has the right, in a civilized society. A prisoner or even a murder is still a human with fully access to all of his basic rights. It's literally a cornerstone of democracy.
This is a good thing. American news culture is entertainment culture. They only report on things that will generate viewership.

Kyoani already back to work, including the 52 year old guy who jumped from the balcony and barely survived
Godspeed, old man.
>it seems to me that people had enough time to do things
34 of them died means they hadn't.
Fact.
>21st century will belong to Asia
Mussolini and Hitler also once said the same thing about their ideology. And guess what?
Most of the women there were mothers. Not all but most.
What a perfect tool for an office drama.
in this situation you are right.
Your worst nightmare.
>Kyoani already back to work
That was fast.
I used to sit outside of ER, hearing family crying and wailing for their deceased loved ones can give you PTSD dude.
Shit is fucking brutal.
You're fucking stupid if you think those two trillions are ever gonna be paid.
Really? he looked pretty fine on that pic where they caught him
I may sound rude, but I hope those kids don't grow up hating anime.
How on earth that guy didn't get PTSD?
Yeah pretty okay dude, just some melt skins that's all
Under the current circumstances, keeping going is the biggest middle finger they can give to Aoba.
I'd say it's more likely for younger folks.
At some point we have to pay those trillions, otherwise the usd will lose the trust of other countries and it's value
Finishing touches on VEG movie most likely.
Nah, they will only hate fatsos.
Not everybody reacts to trauma the same way I suppose. Also sounds like it wasn't a formal work day and mostly for survivors to meet up and talk with each other
All exits and starcaises in one section of the building.
>the biggest middle finger they can give to Aoba.
If they really want to piss him off, they should recover the data in his computer and steal whatever idea he has.
>52 year old guy who jumped from the balcony and barely survived
What a fucking madlad
People are stronger than you might think
Unlike Aoba he did kill a child though, that usually doesn't get you far in prison. Anyway, death sentence really is a must, Aoba will hang, but other mass criminals won't.
Ain't no time for weak ass PTSD if the deadline is fucking your ass user, that's the life of an artist.
>Sprinklers
That shit is like pissing on a forest fire. It's to prevent that spark from the coffee maker that set a dust bunny on fire from spreading, not put out a fucking fireball of gasoline fumes.
why can't we just tell them to fuck off? aren't we the most powerful nation nowadays? what the fuck are those chinks going to do?
They probably only had few seconds to make a decision, and taking stairs seemed like a reasonable action. But by then the first floor was completely on fire, so the only option left was going up.
>I don't know how world economy works: The post
You need to 18 or have a high enough IQ to use this site user.
Neocons also said the same about their ideology and guess what? Retard.
>and their recent light novel selections are no more or less than their light novel adaptations of the past
This. They produce basically the same type of shit they always did but with much better production values as they go along. All of the idiots crying about them no longer adapting Key stuff or more Haruhi don't realize that they would hate on it, too, just because it didn't come out ten years ago.
PTSD is a lot more likely when the subject suffers repeated trauma. You can get it from just a one time thing, but it's not as likely.
I am pretty sure the best thing that they can do for the deceased is animating and releasing a masterpiece with their idea and work that stand the test of time. You don't want a timeflop or people to remember you as the guy that died in a burning building.
Japanese are bugmen with no soul, they don't get PTSD.
Was he forced to report for work?
Yeah, I hope they will hate fatsos instead of anime.
I'm not "smart and all", I'm being a dick bringing that up right now, but it's one of those "inconvenient truths".
And while it may be appropriate to stay silent with respect to that considering the circumstances, it doesn't become any less true.
KyoAni is dead, and it has nothing to do with this incident.
he jumped out of the window before anyone was seriously injured. Along with not having serious burns and its expected he would be ok to go back to work
Not working would be dishonorabru.
No, he said not all the survivors (who were able) showed up and some came and went
>but it's one of those "inconvenient truths".
Why do you talk like a bad sub
>slug Haruhi
Let's not forget the good times
except the bassist
He was a greasy crazy Japanese otaku so I wouldn't be surprised if he were a misogyne but I don't think that was his motivation or the reason why he chose Kyoani in particular.
KyoAni finds a way
Always
the progressive media always try to fit their narrative, no matter how low they can get as long as it follow their agenda
How much do 40l of gasoline cost in your country? You have a problem that can be fixed at that price.
Do you actually believe this, or are you just shitposting? I can't tell any more.
Where the fuck do you think you are?
wrong, there are subdivisions of the yen, but nobody uses them anymore.
1 yen = 100 sen = 1000 rin
en.wikipedia.org
Not with that fucking attitude you loser
the fact they didn't mention anything about the arsonist motivation(studio stealing his idea) and only focusing on setting the building on fire just because he hated women makes me believe that
Bassist confirmed for pure as fuck.
Hope he got a happy end.
He was a confirmed avid gamer (And listening video game BGM full volume at his home, making his neighbours angry), of course he hated women.
It's up to th efamily of each individual person to make it public or not. Realisticaly, you can expect 34 individual confirmations, not a big list by the studio.
Gamers rise up
Something in common by amerifats and elevens: they both are narcisistic enough to think that their own domestic laws and customs are actually the world standard. So yeah. Not surprised.
We shall remember her name and tale in honor of al other young animators whose name and tale likely we'll never learn in full.
F
They should be. Would it really be such a big loss for the world if the arsonist was shot and killed before he was able light the fire? He was a jobless, schizophrenic welfare leech and a mass murderer as well. Not all life is worth the same and his was worth basically nothing.
For a doctor, death is the enemy. You don't simply surrender your prisoners to your enemy. Love, /k/.
