Yeah, from what I'm seeing, most people that loved it are ironic weebs that always poked fun and never cared that much about the series in the first place, while there's the hardcore crowd that goes apeshit with the most inconsequential changes and hates everything. So most sane people are on that middle ground of "it's good, but there's bad points" or "it's bad, but there's good points".

this, I’m on the “it’s bad but has some good points”. I like the idea of less fillers, low number of episodes, but they did a poor of putting the early episodes in a small package. The battles lost all impact due to how brief and safe they are. The new additions are very unnecessary so far, I’d rather they saved the time spent on helicopters and shit and used it on what was portrayed in the manga. The Ikki fight was a joke.

Aphrodite would be nice for that catfight she'd have with Sh(a)un.
