Why does the pissdrinker trigger you so much? I mean personally i think the stand itself is fine, and quite interesting. The problem is that it was supposed to be FF's spotlight, yet she got her ass kicked even though it wasn't her fault

78 years old? Really?
I might sound like a broken record, but 78 years old?
Araki just made FF mista.2 so it was more of the same, the oldguys stand was interesting tho.
Alright, using only quotes/excerpts from the scanlations ... please explain how Dragon's Dream works.
I'll wait.
Did you actually not get how it worked or merely pretending?
Feng shui dood
The virgin 78 years old convict vs the Chad 89 y/o director
He lucky boi
Alright, here's something straight from memory with no references: wherever the arrow of Dragon's Dream points, its user can target that area to have exponentially bad luck, which is drawn from the concept of Feng Shui. The stand also happens to have a personality outside of the user, leading it to helping out F.F. during her fight. And this is just a personal thing, but I believe the stand's personality and its whole disregard of what the user wants comes from how he got the stand: his mastery of Feng Shui. So the stand is sort of the stand of Feng Shui, kind of like how DIO has his own Hermit Purple because he has Jonathan's body, which connects to how in an interview Araki said that if the Part 3 crew saw Joseph in Part 2, he'd have Hermit Purple wrapped around him because Hermit Purple is essentially the stand of Hamon.
Pretending. I wanted to prove the point that it's somewhat hard to follow the specifics of the ability as outlined in the text itself; and through the art of the fight.
Sure, it's easy to say "oh yeah, lucky/unlucky areas", but the visuals don't exactly help elaborate on how the ability is supposed to work - particularly with the "enter the dragon" attack redirection shit just seems to shoop his limb into the opponent out of nowhere.
ALRIGHT, YOU WANNA KNOW FINE?! I ADMIT IT, I DON'T KNOW HOW DRAGON'S DREAM WORKS!! HE USES FENG SHUI BUT WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?! THAT MEAN- WHAT DOES HE MEAN HE USES FENG SHUI?! HE HE USES FENG SHUI AND BAD STUFF HAPPENS!! HOW DOES HE KNOW WHAT HAPPENS WHEN HE USES IT?! IT DOESN'T MAKE ANY SENSE! THAT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE! IT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE!! YOU USE FENG SHUI AND BAD STUFF HAPPENS!! I DON'T KNOW, I DON'T KNOW SOMEONE TELL ME! SOMEONE TELL ME HOW DRAGON'S DREAM WORKS! I NEED TO KNOW! I NEED TO KNOW HOW DRAGON'S DREAM WORKS, PLEASE!!! PLEASE, JUST TELL ME!! I NEED TO KNOW! SOMEONE EXPLAIN IT! ITS CONFUSING I DON'T KNOW, HOW DOES DRAGON'S DREAM WORK?!?! HOW DOES IT WORK?! HOW DOES DRAGON'S DREAM WORK PLEASE!! PLEASE SOMEONE TELL ME I NEED TO KNOW HOW DRAGON'S DREAM WORKS!!!!
> targeting the area
> not understanding the flow of Feng Shui is passive, like a current
Read it again. Dragon's Dream is a compass, not a focus for Feng Shui.

Somehow this is a better use of this meme format than Cringe Crimson.
It's been awhile since I've read Part 6, but I am doing a re-read of the whole series currently. Part 1 doesn't get enough credit.
>tan old man
>nigger
fuck off racists
Fair enough.
The main problem with Kenzo, as I've alluded to, is the presentation of his ability is pretty bad in a manga with static panels. His ability itself is almost entirely movement/positioning based ("lucky/unlucky spots") - which, especially in a series with very stylized movement like JoJo's, makes it hard to follow. Coupled with the fact that having to explain Feng Shui to the audience takes up a good portion of the fight, it's kind of a slog to sit through.
It's definitely going to benefit from an animated adaptation, but the core issue is still there with the manga.
Would Jumpin Jack Flash Requiem be one of the strongest Requiems?
How does it drown people?
Piss
Well, here's the thing. Either we assume a Requiem unlocks some soul-affecting power or something ... or we assume it basically gives the User of that Stand whatever ability will help them achieve what they want most at the moment of achieving Requiem.
> the former
Uh, fuck ... "gravity" ...
Maybe Jumpin' Jack Flash Requiem would isolate people from "gravity" in the sense of "fate"? That is to say, they lose all greater destiny - any anything they come into contact with loses their destiny as well. Nobody can save them from their impending demise, because the same attractive force that draws other Stand Users and such, is absent from this "zero-G environment".
> the latter
Uh, fuck, let me reread the arc and I can get back to you on that one.
Adrenal secretions, my dude.
>or we assume it basically gives the User of that Stand whatever ability will help them achieve what they want most at the moment of achieving Requiem.
We don't assume that because we read the manga and know that isn't true.
Nice
good thread
So then it's the former, or am I completely fucking up? The loosely described shit behind Requiem Stands (including the fact they've only appeared once in the entire series) kinda makes it hard to ascertain what it constitutes in terms of granting new abilities.
That's gross.
Please tell me wtf is going on. This guy's stand is survior, so what's up whit his bone trap? And Annasui said he can go and scape with them but in the next page he is just walking alone? Did Annasui send him to incapacite the guy with the helmet? And the next chapter starts with a green thing wearing a overall, where did it came from? Is it the green baby from the plants? I'm confused...
Annasui used diver down to reach into Guccio's body and turn his bones into a trap. It's the same thing he did with kenzou to defeat him except he turned his legs into springs. The green pickle man is the helmet guy's stand who is ordered to retrieve the green baby from the crew.
Part 6 is like that in general. A lot of the fights are really movement-based and dynamic, so static panels don't convey the sense of vertigo and fast-paced action quite as well as animation. Jumpin' Jack Flash and C-Moon would also benefit greatly from being adapted (though C-Moon was already excellent).
The two times Requiems appear they do exactly that though. Silver Chariot keeps the arrow away from Diavolo with a list of convoluted abilities and Golden Experience becomes the perfect counter to King Crimson.
GER is the perfect counter to everything.
