The story got popular because of powerlevelfags and is inferior not only to good shonen like one piece, FMA , hxh but also to all the other basic shonen like bleach and Naruto. Dragonball is shit. OG Dragon Ball has aged horribly. The audio and video quality are terrible.The Japanese voice track sounds like it's coming through a wall. There are film distortions in almost every shot. Adults are constantly sexually assaulting minors for laughs. Unwatchable.

I hate how inconsistent Jiren's size is in the anime. He looks well over eight feet tall in this clip, with Goku on his tip toes barely coming up to Jiren's chest, and Jiren's fists are the size of a man's head. Then his proportions indicate he grows massively when he goes full power which is mostly reflected in the animation, but then during his final melees with UI Goku he's clearly only a few inches taller, to the point that when they grapple, they look each other in the eye.

The main issue is that DB has been on for too long. Goku and Vegeta should be able to destroy galaxies with a bad sneeze, so it gets harder and harder to create villains that could plausibly take them on.
