Its even hard to tell who is the real MC at this point, both Koga and Ryuki lack appeal so far (unless you are really hard into the underdog or autistic retard types)

So far it feels like its Koga, he had the first volume cover, unlike Ryuki we got insight into his thinking far more etc. aswell as the fact he probably got the most screentime at this point. He´s definitely a little bit of a improvement compared to Ohma in the early chapters, the rest really depends how the story goes (Ohma was entertaining, but he got more interesting as it unfolded, keep that in mind.)

But the thing is that we barely know anything about Ryuki, just what he tells to others characters (which may be all lies) Meanwhile in just a bunch of chapters we know almost everything about Koga's sad life, so there is no misery to unsolve with him as as MC. Ryuki still has potential, Koga doesnt

We are 25 chapters in, this is 1/10th of the previous run, it's basically nothing. You can't really be expecting to be given the full backstory of both MCs already.

I said so far for a reason, i would be surprised if Ryuki is for backstory stuff, while Koga is having his story just now being told. Koga is practically in the same position Kazzy was in Ashura in a sense, but unlike Kazzy is probably going to beat someones ass physically instead of mentally. Also the fact Sandrovich easily can pull some connections thanks to Kogas supposed relative and him seemingly having the Kengan aswell.

I thought about that too but it was stated that the Kengan Association has the better top so unless Musk pulls in a few more weirdo's along with Not!Kure it seems like Gensai will lean towards the better fight.

Definitely shocked, but I wouldn't say upset. I think it's more that he just came to a realization on how he had stagnated and wanted to leave to see what the world at large held for him.

The 6th one only want the name of "Fang of metsudou" to become famous and when purgatory started to recruit him, the 6th betrayed metsudou and follow purgatory because the money there is much better than kengan fight. Agito was furious because the 6th betrayed the old man and participate as one pf the fighter in the end together with the 8th generation of "Fang of Metsudou".

Not him, but nah. Metsudo didn't want to retire; he just got bored of being at the top and wanted to shake things up a little. He was happy that he could become the "challenger" again.

Wait, wait, wait; so there was a 6th, 7th, and 8th Fang, and the 6th and 8th ended up betraying Metsudo to work with the competition?

Normally you'd expect them to job, but the fact that there are 2 of them means that one of them could job hard while the other could be a real deal bigshot.

And who is the 7th fang?

Onlt the 6th who betrayed the old man. For the fight, metsudo confrmed to send his most powerful fighter (the 8th ) to help with the fight againts purgatory. So we got the former and the current fang of metsudo in one team now.

Never mentioned, but with the betrayal of the 6th maybe they just replaced it with someone qualified for the time being until the current one (the 8th) finally get the spot.

Purgatory has the strongest power of them all one can hold in a Fighting Manga: New characters.

Yeah Koga is without doubt the primary protagonist. We spend the most time with him, we see him learning and growing, he gets a ton of internal monologue, and he's the lens through which we learn about how things in the Association have changed since the tournament. I like Koga, myself. I think he's a good contrast to Ohma and is pretty relatable as far as this series goes. WAY more relatable than Ohma was, that's for sure. Although I did like Ohma. Then again, Kazzy was even more the main character than Ohma was from a storytelling sense.
