This show was bad. Very, very, bad and no one on Yea Forums ever talks about it. Probably because of how fucking bad it was. The only semi-redeeming part of this show was the girl, Ren. She was a cutie. But god damn this whole show was just basic shounen tier wish fulfillment. If you watched the fansubs, yeah. There is only one subbed version.
The show actually makes perfect sense. It's not great, but it's more then decent. So then why do so many people say it sucks? Simple: the subtitles are very inaccurate. If one didn't know Japanese, and went only by what the subtitles said, he would be completely lost. The subtitles missed the meaning behind the remakers, behind Nell's origins, behind Kaori's birth, Yuu's birth, the purpose of the White Angel, and didn't even mention what Riccardo was actually trying to do. So yeah, A-Keep was at it's infancy, and well...the subs were pretty bad.

This show has great visuals, animation and soundtrack, but absolute garbage pacing. It's the ultimate evidence that just SHAFT-like directing just doesn't work without good writing to back it up.
Also Oonuma has the inexplicable bad habit of shoving turnoffs only in the first episode of a show, In C3 is was the on-your-face fanservice, in ImoSae it was the normalfag filter opener and the hard cut with stamps. Guy is brilliant but awkward in his experimentation.
