What's your opinion on Oyasumi PunPun?

Made me even more depressed, thanks a lot

Same.
I couldn't even get through reading it at one point that it made me so sad, It almost made me cry with how hopeless everyone was.

A true work of art. Perhaps the greatest work of literature ever written. It puts to shame western books. Stuff like Harry Potter or The Hunger Games are for children. Pun Pun is for adults.

not good, not awful

Average manga overhyped by le S AD B O Y Z gang who smoke weed and listens to Chill Beats To Relax and Study To while using Discord.

Emotional torture porn. Not my cup of tea, but nonetheless i thought it was decent.

But I read this before discord existed.

Definitely overrated but still easily above average.

Extremely boring and overrated.
Mangaka is a Tracer although skilled at paneling

Top tier art and character development.

I thought it was truly something amazing, and I'll never forget it. I honestly can't think of any mangas I've liked better. I wish I could articulate my thoughts on it better, but I guess that's kind of what I love so much about it: it has a beauty to it that is so different from anything I see elsewhere (other than Asano's other work). If I have any complain, it's that I don't *love* how Asano draws characters, which I get is somewhat intentional rather than just a personal quirk. But that's not a make/break thing for me, and the art itself if quite beautiful.

Anyway, I get that others might disagree, and that's fine, I'm just glad I enjoyed it so much. If y'all know of anything similar, let me know and I'll check it out.

he traced everything

Aiko... ;_;

I don't really see the problem if the end product looks good. Much more interested in the work itself than the mangaka. Does know he traced make it harder to enjoy for you?

source? I mean they are more Japanese looking than most mangas so I don't think it's unreasonable to suggest.

Did he? I know the author is very guilty of using stock photos with filters passed as drawn backgrounds. I thought at least the characters were drawn, not traced.

I don't think user meant *literally* everything is traced. I very much doubt the characters are.
