>18日午前。1階にはデスクワークなどを行う十数人がいて、2階は男性を含めたデザイナーら約30人が作画などをしていた。3階はアニメーターや監督らがいた。スタジオは普段、人が多く集まり「わちゃわちゃと作業をしている」場所だ。

>On the 18th morning, there were around 10 people working on the first floor, 30 people including male on the second floor drawing, and third floor are animator and director, usually noising and talking (わちゃわちゃ is an Osakan lingo, I think...talking noisily is a an equilivant translation)

>同10時半ごろ。2階でいつものように作画に当たっていると突然、1階から、誰かが 言い争うような声と、「うぉー」という男の怒号が聞こえた。続いて女性の悲鳴が聞こ えたかと思うと、直後に爆発音が、大型バイクのエンジン音のように「ドッドッドッド ッ」と連続で、次第に大きくなりながら鳴り響いた。

>Around 10:30, while I was drawing normally, I heard arguement from the first floor, a man screaming Wa!! angryly, then woman screaming, tehn explosion and a sudden noise like a heavy engine Don! DON! DON! coming out.

>10秒もたたないうちに、吹き抜けのらせん階段からどす黒い雲のような煙が2階に上 がってきた。墨汁のような色だった。

>In less then 10 second, ink black smoke started pouring in from the staircase downstair

>「なぜ、こんなことをしたのかという思いは消えない。悔しいし憤りを感じる。回復さ せ、法律できちんと裁いてほしい」

>I'm very angry and not understand why this has to happen, and I hope he gets the full treatment of the law.

Do we know how many from the second floor have survived and how? Thanks for the translation by the way, will read now.

There is no way of telling which floor the survivors were from, but based on witness accounts I'd say that anyone on the third floor likely had the lowest chance of surviving.

The women employees were too afraid to jump most likely.

>more smoke came in, and I can't see my finger anymore.

it really was fucking fast

>but regarding the suspect claim of having a novel stolen, I've never heard of this incident.

so this rumor was true?

typical roasties

This.
And some faggots in other thread were telling me that a mostly male staff wouldn't have made a difference

>third floor are animator and director
RIP Kyoani

And you can't expect Japanese men to actually man up and throw everyone from the window.

Yes, I assumed that basically all survivors were from the first floor. That guys says 10 where on the first, so it can't be many more survivors from the upper floors. Basically just the few that jumped like the narrator and some of them might be dangerously wounded by the fire or the fall or both. A few also died on the first floor so it would fit, damn. I bet many of those that are alive but burnt might be from the first floor too. Escape was easy there but the firebomb started there so most people there probably catched fire just like that killer himself as well.

CARLOSSSSSSSSS

It's nice to know that at least some people either thought to or were able to jump. And from what this guy says the worst injury from jumping was a sprained ankle.

>dude CASUAL SEXISM lmao
Trying too hard

Attached: 1304286017833.jpg (234x188, 20K)

This, it only took a couple of seconds for their visual senses to be gone. Thank god this survivor was close enough to the balcony to see, but the rest had to try to go for the roof and unfortunately it did not end well for them

I always had too fucked up gore fantasies since early childhood so I would have hesitated as well.

I still don't get why more people didn't just jump

Lol

Some of them eventually did

women

>casual

based

Attached: 1563034480837.png (500x500, 115K)

It's the first rule of evacuation, women and children first, I'm all for gender equality but when it comes to survival you can't expect a woman to make a split second decision.

Didn't know there were that many women animators

checked

not as many as they could
who knows how many took too long to decide and by the time they finally would have jumped it was too late cause the smoke impared them

Judging by the text and everything else it was a matter of a minute or so. If you were standing in the wrong place you wouldn't even have seen the sunlight like the narrator anymore or you would have walked against chairs and shit and till you reach the balcony it was too late. The guy himself was already getting dizzy too.

Eleven Arts, American distributor of A Silent Voice, Liz and the Blue Bird, Sound! Eupho movies wants the community to help make paper cranes to send to Kyoani

twitter.com/ELEVEN_ARTS/status/1153480412968017920

Fuck children everybody should safe themselves first and foremost, children have no right to risk the lives of men for being retarded slow shits.

Most likely panic and survival instinct being overflowed as both choices (staying or jumping) could mean instant death. By the time their brain realized [ risk of jumping < risk of burning ] it was probably too late.

t. Edgy manchild

This, and what the guy is talking about happened within the first couple of seconds after the killer lit the petrol and caused that explosion. At that point, panic would set in for most people having their sight robbed from them and they would scramble around, forget their surroundings and ultimately pass out from inhaling CO2.

They are never going to admit they stolen anything and the arsonist will die before having a word on the matter, but everyone know that it's a common practice to steal ideas from web novels, nothing protect those novels from having some studio claiming they came up with the idea.

Judging from the picture, the second floor is at most 5 meter above ground. Most people can jump from that height without any injury. From the top of the building, you can see water pipes connecting ceiling to the ground, very easy to slide and escape from there in an orderly fashion. I can understand people from the first floor having to deal with the arsonist and gasoline burning, but how on earth did one man kill 30 people with 40 liter of gasoline...

Wow very helpful. What would they do without paper cranes?

so Takemoto was on the third floor. RIP

I bet you scoff at people leaving flowers for the dead, too

It's very easy to talk about what you would do when you're removed from the situation.

Raise their morale

>A fire starts at the hospital where the victims are because of the paper cranes

Attached: 1562984244121.gif (460x351, 309K)

not really the first thing people do when theyre in danger is figure out a way to PTFO, even if its a bad idea

Attached: longform-falling-man-ap-1536604107.jpg (640x479, 52K)

>expecting scrawny artists to jump off a window
No.

Instead of asking people to spend money shipping useless shit that will get crumpled before it gets to Japan, they should do an actual fundraiser. Mailing paper literally does nothing for them.

It makes sense to leave flowers and offerings if you’re in Japan tho.

Because they couldn't see shit. The guy got lucky he caught a glimpse of sunlight and followed it.

Yes, in the absence of any evidence whatsoever lets just assume they stole from him because "everyone knows"

woman are too emotional to make a rational decision in times of chaos and Japanese men are beta as fuck

And what about the people who unfortunately don't have the money to send? Should they just sit in the back with their heads down? This provides a way for fans who have both donated and couldn't to show their appreciation of Kyoani in a way that is actually valuable to Japanese culture (look up the history of paper cranes) and will be seen as a thoughtful gesture

First day here?

The fucking spiral stairs again.

I guess the regular stairs produce a similar effect but probably if that spiral stairs wouldn't have existed, all people would have had a little more time. And yeah, 10 more seconds would have been enough extra time for reaching the roof door.

I'm guessing everyone in the anime industry or other industries with spiral stairs must be seriously thinking in getting rid of them, or installing fire exits with external stairs.

>Of the approximately 70 people in the building at the time, at least 34 people have been confirmed deceased, although no names have been revealed,[17][18] and at least 35 others (including the suspect) have various degrees of injury, requiring treatment in local hospitals.
Who got away without injury?

No one. Those that escaped did so by jumping out of the building, and even if they got something as minor as a scratch, that counts as an injury in the report.

Most likely some people from the second floor who jumped and were cleared with minor sprains. If this account is anything to go by, the first and third floors were fucked from the start.

>tfw 1(ONE) person survived this massacre unscathed

As this narration implies, all those who were next to the balcony in the 2nd floor were the lucky ones.
1st floor received the direct burns of the ignition. 3rd floor were to high to jump (even people from the 2nd floor hesitated,
so I'll guess no one from the third actually jumped).

>Kyoani have scheduled fire drill and also does training with local fire department
Completely bullshit, holy shit i imagine the CEO rushing to the hospital to brain-wash the victims and tell them what to say.

Training for what ? jumping from a windows? there were 0 emergency exits

Disgusting Japanese culture as always

>Admit KyoAni stole based on nothing but a claim from the batshit crazy motherfucker that torched the place and murdered 20+ people.
Ok then lets say they "stole" from him, then why the fuck would he blackmail and send death threats to the studio? Why not go for a lawsuit? If he was so sure they stole from him then where is his proof? Before this the guy was in prison for trying to rob a place with a knife.

There was actually a heated debate over this a while back, someone whose region was flooded by heavy rains tweeted that people should stop sending paper cranes because they take up space and have no use whatsoever and end up as trash. Some people criticized him while others said he had a point, though it could have been phrased more politely

He must be feeling like pic related.

Attached: unb3.jpg (448x196, 17K)

>They are never going to admit they stolen anything and the arsonist will die before having a word on the matter

If the attorneys of the killer make an argument about KyoAni plagiarize his work for years then it's possible weigh in through the trial.

Now we know why the police and Kyoani didn't want to talk, they aren't going to admit their responsibility in this.

>thread about Kyoani survivor experience
>hahaha WOMEN amirite but WOMEN though don't you know about the dumb WOMEN
Are you all 14 years old? This is just forced and tryhard, at least have some wit in your shitposts.

>This is not the same as training at all, if I made one tiny mistake, I would have died
This shit freaks me out.
Imagine all the safety training/precautions you know get thrown out the window when shit actually hits the fan

Paper cranes do nothing practically, but hold weight emotionally and sentimentally. Of course if every american distributor had fans make paper cranes then it would be overkill and unneeded, but as far as I know its just this one asking their fans to send well wishes in this way.

You need money to ship a box full of paper cranes.......

Just filter them

Even if they stole the novel idea, how'd it "ruin" the man's life? He's a faggot.

Did you read the rest? The survivor said that in this scenario, none of that training mattered because it was a different set of circumstances

Most of them did, 19 people out of ~30 did. There were 11 bodies piled up on the rightmost window, there might've been a crush or they couldn't get the window opened in time while the smoke took them out.

>fire drill
It's probably the usual stuff that everyone does but doesn't work in real life like how to use a fire extinguisher and evacuate the building as quickly as possible as soon as the fire alarm sounds. None of these works in that scenario

Kyoani pushed him to the brink and now he's likely going to be executed if he doesn't die of his injuries first. How is that not life ruining?

The amount of time the jumpers on 9/11 had to come to their decision and the time Kyoani employees had is not even remotely comparable. The whole 3 level building was an inferno filled with untold amounts of anxiety-filling and decision-imparing smoke, not to mention the 1000+ degree fire heating anything in its vicinity.

>Plagiarism outweighs arson and mass murder
No attorney would take his case. He would get the death sentence

Are you gonna call out people who says faggot now, faggot?

I rather burn to death than be paralyzed. I still would have jumped but I would have hesitated.

Dude was confirmed mentally ill and has a criminal history.
There's no proof he submitted a novel. Shithead probably dreamed it.

the scariest part here is that it appears that visibility was basically 0 within seconds

the people on the top floor were so fucked

is this like tokyo ghoul? A CCG-affiliated family where killed by ghouls on the day the guards were coincidentally not there. Since no one came to help them, is this fire and assassination government ordered? What did kYon do to tick the government?

What did they stole from him? Where is the proof?

>evacuate the building as quickly as possible
Yes, brillant, that's exactly what a fire drill is about, but it's often put in practice with emergency exits. Employees are not firefighters.

too high to jump even if you could see a window

RIP, almost a certainty to say all kyoani character designers are dead.
Damm, RIP shinka, reina, iris creator

Now I remember that white woman who left children while their house was on fire. Jesus fuck white women

Unless you cannonball yourself out of the window while spinning the worst you can do with a 5 meters jump is a few broken bones.

You all suggesting about jumping, but how are you suppose to ensure your survival? It's hard concrete down there so you cannot just dive down like it's a pool

Landing on your feet and rolling after helps ease the impact. I learned that shit from doing parkour

I wouldn't know what to do in such a hectic situation, to be honest.

>visibility was basically 0 within seconds
This. Most people panicked and made for the only exit that they knew of which would be the roof, but with what this narrator said, he was feeling intense heat on his back when he was thinking of jumping, imagine how the others who didn't have any choice but to go towards the spiral staircase where that death funnel was in order to try to make it to the roof.

Its a few broken bones and maybe paralysis compared to being burned alive

You can break your spine just by falling ground level depending on how you land. 5 meters does not seem like much to you but it can definitely break your spine.

>let's NOT believe the guy who literally did the action on why he did it! Rather we must speculate on the dumbest possible reasons and conspiracies!
God you are stupid.

Fuck that's sad

Die, probably.

It's very easy for any retard to just say "just jump bro" but I know for a fact that if 99% of you autists got trapped in a fire in a three story building you'd just cry like bitches and get burned alive too.

>muh bleeding heart
I wished you ran into the building and died for those little shits. Children deserve no special treatment, and have not given anything back.

Wrong, I would piss myself to keep me wet and cool

Not that user but the only "proof" that they actually stole anything from him comes from the arsonist himself, who claimed "they ripped off my novel" before slipping into a coma. It's probably a load of bullshit, considering the guy is mentally ill. He might have written a fanfic or something that had a similar plot to something Kyoani produced. Or he could've had a schizoid freakout which led to Kyoani becoming the target of his obsession. Whatever the case, any "proof" he had burned up in flames and any word that comes out of his mouth is going to be subject to scrutiny considering his mental state.

>muh edge
I wish you got torched instead. People like you deserve no special treatment and you dont gcontribute anything.

Whats even sadder is that the police, Kyoani and news service haven't found any "novel" that the suspect have published anywhere.

And what is known isthe killer had been in prison previously for robbery, and afterward was sent to an institution for rehabilitation, and only recently released, to live on his own with home nurse(Weekly or monthly) that check on his status.

Paralysis is a lot worst than you think. You can't fucking move. Except for your neck. You are useless. Your body starts breaking down from not moving and from laying on your piss. You still think you won't have any pain? You are way off. Is just a slow painful death.

Imagine now for one second that you have an emergency door in the end of each floor, one door that you see every god damn day when you go to work, one gigant big ass door that says "Emergency exit" and has a big ass bar that says "PUSH IN CASE OF AN EMERGENCY"

Attached: 1B9CD848-7C9A-4BB9-9800-DA4ADB60C239.jpg (849x1280, 107K)

This is a big lie. No professional tells you that. The actual rule is to save yourself first without hindering other people. Letting slower people go first results in higher number of deaths.

This made me paranoid. Like now I stay close to doors and windows all the time when outside

Hell, first world countries have marked glowing stripes to guide people to the exit in case of smoke and no lights. Japan is a third world country.

It was probably pitch fucking black for all the victims of this crime. Just looking at how dark that smoke is lets me know this guy is speaking nothing but truth. He probably didn't even think to grab his phone or anything to use as a light source because with everything happening so fast, who could?

Attached: 1563939085160.webm (640x360, 2.83M)

Yet retarded machoism fools people into thinking that's what you gotta do or you're not a real man. Men are the biggest threat to your life.

>The way the smoke is funneling out of the windows would obscure light from most victims hoping to see where they are
Shit, the more I consider this the worse I realize it was for these people.

Nah, this is actually tryhard. It's not like throwing random nigger/faggot/whatever into posts, it's changing the subject to be about dumb women for no reason. It really smacks of desperation.

I remember there were retards saying you'd die from jumping from the second story. Maybe if you're a fatass burger that might be the case.

There were people at the ground shouting at him to jump. I am sure some of the passerby there would have helped them break the fall. There was even a guy that brought a ladder along that saved 4 of them.
Their fate was seal when they decided to go for the stairs instead of the balcony

Life is already a slow painful death, and I would take the plunge. Jumping from the 2nd floor gives you a higher rate of survival, hell the guy who survived landed on his fucking back and he isnt paralyzed.

Nobody saying he isn't, is just that there's some people saying that Kyoani dindu nuffin when there's a 99.99% chances they did, it's a very common practice but nobody gets mad about it, at least not mad enough to do this shit.

>people actually falling for this

Attached: bait dance.gif (300x402, 130K)

I hate to admit it, but you are exactly right, user. They really should have had an extra exit separate from their main entrance/exit in case of emergencies.

Jumping from a second floor window is no big deal, but the drop from a third floor window, especially if it's onto concrete, would be pretty terrifying.
I had a quick Google check and the only info I could find was that jumping from a fourth floor window would give you about a 50% survival rate.
It sounds as if this fire spread incredibly fast, and considering how densely packed with materials the average Japanese office is I can imagine why. I wouldn't expect a bunch of female office workers to have the balls to make the decision to jump from a window that high, even with flames raging behind you.

Rest easy, Kyoani.

>write a larp story on Yea Forums
>some faggot copies my post and posts it
WHERE DA Yea Forums STAFF AND SERVERS AT??

This year I had jumped from a 2nd story building twice. Its not deadly, your legs would buckle from the impact and maybe get some scratches here and there but Im still normal as fuck.

>Kyoani dindu nuffin
compared to what this asshole did by massacring the staff who just come in to work to do their fucking jobs, yes Kyoani literally didn't do anything

>them break the fall
im not an expert at physics but a body in free fall increases it's weight like shit, if i just survived a fire the last thing i would do it would be to try catch a person jumping from a 2 floor, it could break my back/arms

>his work for years then it's possible weigh in through the trial.
The testimony of a fucking guy who was in jail before, against unexceptionable workers of a impeccable company that even had their own editorial for amateur writers, which means that not only they gave opportunities to people with great stories, but of top of that they had years of faultless and transparent behavior towards all the authors who sent their works previously. If Kyoani really wanted to plagiarize, they would have done it years ago (or the authors of those amateur novels would have complained), but no, they had absolutely NO REASON to do it. They had plenty of material to work thanks to this system.

In fact is the opposite, this fatfuck piece of shit accused the only anime studio that actually did something for the amateur writers in Japan (I mean anime studio not editorials like Kadokawa), he killed the only anime studio that opened its arms and embraced incipient talent years after years.

So, no. I don't think this bastard has any extenuating factor until proven otherwise.

Between believing the version of Kyoani, and a fucking psychopath which probably found some vague resemblance between some Kyoani work and his shitty fanfic, it's a no brainier.

If it's up to me, I'd lock this guy 50 years in an isolated room with zero privileges waiting for his death.

The people who went for the stairs most likely didnt have a choice or choose that path to warn the people upstairs to evacuate. Also dont forget the fact the guy who jumped on the balcony, was only able to do it because he managed to see the sunlight lead his path.

>jumps out of buildings twice in half a year
>I'm normal

Go away Satan.

>99.99% chances
A guy who burned a bunch of people alive couldn't possibly be a delusional schizo.

And why the arsonist broke his own computers if he wanted evidence about the stolen novel?

This is way too real. An absolute tragedy. One minute you're drawing anime and the next you're burning alive. Many of these people were young and had their entire lives ahead of them. Nobody deserves this except the kind of person that would do this to others. They just wanted to draw there anime girls and swimming homos. I'm absolutely disgusted.

They are female animator barely weighting 45kg, we aren't talking about a fatty like the arsonist

You and most other people wouldn't.

This lad?
He's just bustin' some dope moves, user.

Attached: Screenshot_25.jpg (631x350, 54K)

Because it would come out that he had lolishit and other degenerate crap in his hard drive.

Tell us your plan, user. Are you planning to bomb Penguin?

>leave the terrorists to me

I tried killing myself, I thought that by doing that I would build up the courage to go higher.

And? He would get a similar punishment as the pedo who draws RuroKen, that seemed nobody cares. Somehow he is afraid of people finding he is a pedo but not finding evidence of writing his novel?

>Should they just sit in the back with their heads down?

Yes mother fucker, if in any point of you life you had gone through anything worse than a paper cut you would know that those things not only dont actually help, but they take up space, resourses and time from people who are in need of more than a glorified "get-well" card. Thoughtful gestures are nice, but they are just that, nice, they dont actually help that much.
seriously the amound of problems thats those kinds of gestures causes are infortunadely never talked about.

Attached: 1560872503880.png (368x686, 360K)

>45kg,
user again im not an expert in physics by any means but that weight would increase like fuck just in 7 meters, im sure some engineer user can calculate it

Possibly. Key word there.

They once plucked an angel out of my dreams? Does that count?

Attached: angel.jpg (1920x1080, 206K)

He is afraid that people will read his work and tell him that he is full of shit. And his lolishit would just add on top of it.

It seems he just doesn’t have any case and him killing innocent people is the consequence of an entitled bastard and his delusions.

>weight would increase
is this bait?

would you catch a flying qt ?

According to this account, the smoke / carbon monoxide probably made everyone hazy enough to render them unconscious within seconds. This guy was lucky enough to immediately find a balcony, but even he was feeling dizzy after just a few seconds.

Your survival instinct usually wakes up once shit goes down. In the earthquake here in Mexico a pair of years ago everyone left the cripple on the first floor at work to die while they all got outside, for example. Luckily our building didn't get damaged

Isn't it 3m per floor?
It is 6m at most for the people on the 3rd floor

Would a phone light even do anything? It's not like it's dark, the air is fucking opaque.

Maybe if it was some sort of Radical Edward's dad swan catch.

While they're definitely lax compared to other countries' building codes they were completely on point for their own country's fire codes.

The problem here is that the rooftop door was locked, so the potential to reach clean air was pretty much cut to nothing. When people rushed to the door and found out it was locked, it was well too late for them to have enough oxygen to scramble for whoever had the key, if they weren't caught in the explosion.

Also preparing for 40 gallons of gasoline being spread around the building and going off is like being prepared for a fucking plane crashing into it, the only thing that was going to stop this was catching that fucker before he started it, same case there too. He knew exactly what he was doing, as much as he claims mental illness, he abused their cultural customs to not be noisy in others' business, he found out when they'd have lax security, and he timed it so most staff would be on site.

This was a fucking determined killer, no matter what mental issues exacerbated it.

Im no survivalist, in fact i would probably have died, but i know the "proper" way to jump out of a window is hanging from the rail, so you fall about 1.6-1.8 meters less

I wish more folks would of jumped. Sad knowing how quick things went to shit.
Guess it comes from being a burger, but I catch myself often thinking what I would do if someone busted in shooting up the workplace/fire/etc. The one time you’re not is when a fat gook will firebomb you

>Who is this Kyoto Animations company
>Oh man, I hope they didn't make any anime I like
>it's all weeb shit
Oh, thank god.

This. Just dangle from the side and don’t land on stiff legs.

Would you catch a flying qt at 27km/h? I would

Given that the narrator said he landed on his back, thats probably how he jumped

Not after seeing a video of some dude getting splattered after trying to save a falling woman.

I want Yamada’s butt to land on my face.

It wasn’t 40 gallons you nog it was 40 liters

Too easy. They'll beat the piss out of him in prison for years to come.

I wish they would design handholds and footholds into large buildings. You might be in insane wind shear and more burning floors, but you'd have a bloody shot.

They don't if they're actually GOOD and the building has fucking FIRE EXITS, or you know DOORS that don't let the smoke pass so quickly and spread through a fucking CHIMNEY staircase.

Kyoanus is at fault here too

I bet it was awkward for that guy when everyone got back to work

Attached: D8C6095F-F5F6-4346-B127-71A531BBD0B7.png (791x443, 226K)

I don't think that's how Japanese prisons work.

Most of you burgers would survive because bullets would get trapped between your layers of fat without reaching important organs that you are harvesting to die from cholesterol issues.

You're actually supposed to land on your head. It's the best protected part of your body.

>I wish more folks would of jumped
I wish more people would've learned how to spell.

Can't you fucking read at all you imbecile?
>This is not the same as training at all
Based on his statement they must do those all the time but clearly the regulations are so fucking bad they did a terrible job in that training, the problem falls on the government, not on the studio.

Japanese guards are corrupt as fuck some fuck stick will slit his throat in the shower and will covered it up.

Point stands you nitpicking fuck, it's still a fuckton of gasoline to go up all at once.

the guy's gonna be kept in total isolation for 50 years

Yes.
In hindsight this is his they could survive.
>hold their breath while crouching to the balcony
>jump
Safe to say they weren't drill for this. Most fire evacuation exercise just train you to walk slowly toward the exit which would get you kill in this case

mate, Japanese prisons are notoriously brutal.

>Uchiyama claims that in the interrogation room, he was expected to stand in a formal, upright style while the guard disciplined him. However, because he suffered from diabetes, he could not straighten two fingers on his left hand. The guard attempted to forcibly straighten his fingers but in doing so, they both lost balance and fell over. Surprised and infuriated by this, the guard reportedly summoned ten other guards who proceeded to kick and punch Uchiyama. He protested: “Why are you beating me? I haven’t done anything”. However, they continued to beat him, twisted his arms behind his back, and forcibly took him to a “protection cell”. On arrival, Uchiyama claims that the prison guards stripped him naked with such force that they ripped his clothes. He was then made to wear special clothing, which included matawarepants. He was forced to lie face down on the floor while the guards restrained him in a leather belt and handcuffs as well as metal handcuffs. He was beaten and kicked repeatedly throughout the process and dropped a number of times face down onto the floor while the guards attempted to tighten the leather belt.

Joke’s on you faggot I’m a skeleton

So they're letting him go free?

>they were completely on point for their own country's fire codes.
Worse than a 3rd shithole

>rooftop door was locked
I think it wasn't locked but worse, the lock was "pull" type, literally all the contrarty from the rest of the world in case of emergency, although i don't think the roof was going to be a good option either, have you seen that webm from the building on fire? they would have suffocated in the roof because any firefighter could take them out

Too late user, you need to burn everything down now, place make Yea Forums the first board thank you.

You need to read properly.
Rooftop wasn’t locked. Arsonist brought 40L but only used 10L, only 10L were enough to create a living hell. Survivors were the ones who were near the balcony. Witness/survivor said he couldn’t even see his own finger due the smoke and he followed some light to reach the balcony. Also he wasn’t the first to jump, people already on the ground hurried him to do it and he did it just at the time he felt the heat was raising too much, hence people who managed to jump after him were way more wounded/burned.

Whoever was must probably suffer from ptsd and survivor's guilt anyway so he is fucked one way or another. This is so fucking awful.

>99.99% chances
You are a fucking idiot

Probably no one even tried to get close to windows or the balcony in the third floor, but that distance might be shortened a little bit if you actually cross the window/balcony, use your hands to hold the edge, extend your body and release it, the momentum is reduced. Even you might try holding something while falling if you're able (like the balcony in the second floor).
But again, with one single person of the third floor that said: "Let's go to the roof!". They literally sealed their fate, and that's the logical thing everyone would have said in those few seconds you had to save your life. Probably the people from the third floor died without even knew that they were attacked for some maniac, because any other normal fire would have give them enough time to reach the roof.

The more I analyze this, the more I think that everything that could have go wrong, it went wrong. It's a shame, almost no silver linings. Sorry, Ladder-kun was the only one

Riki-Oh will fuck him up in prison now

Why should we trust some made up story by a criminal?

Should have watched this PSA youtube.com/watch?v=2PnqgmzDc0k

The studio could have chosen to increase their safety not to "only" be in law with shitty regulations, having an emergency exit is BASIC.

But that's not going to happen because it's a business and business owners often skimp in everything, so it doesn't matter that it's a death trap if it's good acording to Japanese regulations.

Protip: if you dangle and drop rather than jumping it reduces the fall by your height + arm length

inb4 he committs sudoku because of survivor's guilt.

If he's deranged enough to commit mass murder, he's likely delusional or paranoid about any imagined slight against him.
in short: "The Jews are giving me erectile dysfunction, burn them!"

Yeah, just take your time, it's not like there's dozens behind you dying in the smoke waiting for you to get out of the way

>the lock was "pull" type
This is worse than right side steering wheel cars. It literally goes against human instinct to have a a door pull toward you when exiting a building. No one in this scenario would be trying to pull that fucking door. I really do think some blame needs to be on whoever designed and approved this building

Stupid idiot, put your head in the oven and stay like that five minutes with the heat at max. Didn’t you read that the survivor said he jumped just at the time he felt his back starting to heat? They didn’t have time, neither would be able to try to reach second floor balcony or shit due the smoke and heat. A schoolboy said even if he was several meters far from the building the wave heat was too strong to try to approach.

I don't know Jim, KyoAni seems like the one fucking studio that would try to avoid cutting on costs as long as they seem significative. The fact that the so called "professionals" on the matter like the ones that make the laws and the firefighters tell you that what you are doing is good enough gives you the safety that there is no way things are gonna go wrong despite of how retarded they might sound because they are SUPPOSED to be the ones that know about this shit.

That's the thing. They stole his work so he couldn't make money, forcing him to rob that store just to survive, and because he did that, no court would give a shit about any lawsuit, especially not a corrupt one like Japanese court.
When he said they ruined his life, he was 100% correct.

Fact is it raised enough of a stink that human rights organizations voiced their concern.
amnesty.org/download/Documents/152000/asa220041998en.pdf

Whataboutism much. They still fucking stole it

He didn't say they deserved it

>This is worse than right side steering wheel cars
What's wrong with right side steering wheel cars? Isn't it natural to have the dominant hand (mostly right) on the wheel for fine control and the off-hand to shift the stick?

One of the television broadcasts said the temperature of the building went up to 1000° C which is the temperature of lava. That's what these poor artists/animators had to deal with in their mad rush to escape

So, give us a hint. Penguin, Hachette Livre, Bloomsbury? Which one are you going to burn? And which idea they stole from you?

I don't think I could carry that door and bend it over in the kitchen for a quickie

>They still fucking stole it.

Not that user but you're giving credence to the words of a mentally ill man with a criminal history.

>Stupid idiot, put your head in the oven and stay like that five minutes with the heat at max.
Wow dude relax. You don't spend 5 minutes trying to hang from an edge.
And I repeat, if they actually knew: roof = death, they would took the deal of bearing with the heat in order to get to the window anytime, but as I said, they went the opposite direction so there was no turning back with the density of the black smoke.

>Exit sign on the bottom adjacent side in case survivors are crawling to avoid smoke inhalation
I have a newfound appreciation for American emergency exit procedures

the door was both unklocked and a push to open
the amount of people spreading this misinfo here is dumb

you're weak user

I am pretty sure he is projecting hard and we may be talking with a soon-to-be copycat.

Stole fucking what you imbecile? We are talking about a literal schizo that can't even say what was "stolen" from him and not even the people investigating can find a single fucking clue about what supposedly got stolen from him. Chances are the autist had a random idea one day, found out that KyoAni already had a work with that idea and he got pissed for literally no reason. There is quite literally zero indications or reasons to believe the dude isn't just spewing random delusional bullshit.

IT'S NOT LOCKED AND THE DOOR IS PUSH OUT

Quads of truth

I imagine that's pretty rare. I'm American and I've never seen an exit sign on the floor. In some places they may have markings on the floor but not in a place with carpet.

No, i don't mean that the door itself is push out (we saw the fire fighter open it) but the emergency door handle was like pull type

there was a pic of the handle in other thread i think

>They still fucking stole it
Yeah, now present your evidence you stupid shit. Because the rope is waiting for you otherwise oh, my bad, rope is waiting even if it's true

It would take an extra 2 seconds and would greatly reduce the impact.

So many talented people murdered. I saw the new Hibike film in a theater and I was interested in getting a copy of Liz and the Blue Bird, I thought there was something beautiful about KyoAni's work and I really came to love them over the past couple of years. I can't believe this has happened and now everything they've ever made will have a layer of tragedy over it.

Have you memorized already your fire exit route, fire extinguisher and evacuation area on your office Yea Forumsnon?
A friendly reminder to always tap first the door handle with the back of your hand if it's hot to know if the other side of the door is burning.

>52 year old man
So, Ishihara? I want to believe Haruhi led him to safety

You inherit the combined talents of the deceased but you WILL die in a similar fashion 20 years down the road. Deal?

>but you WILL die in a similar fashion 20 years down the road. Deal?
What If I shot myself?

We still don't have a list of victim's names right?. It's going to be rough when that comes out

You wouldn't have to do that if you could be a proper NEET

Depends on if I get a job with those talents.

>not kicking the door open to subject yourself and everyone around you to a backdraft

Attached: 1555123184205.png (1173x846, 653K)

i'll most likely off myself within the next 20 years anyways so definitely

Only if it comes with the combined motivation as well. I'm already wasting my own talents.

This whole thing kinda reminds me of the Triangle Shirtwaist Fire, with the locked doors and mostly women staff

Attached: Triangle-Shirtwaist-Factory-Fire.jpg (300x393, 84K)

>>Kyoani have scheduled fire drill and also does training with local fire department, the man now remember "This is not the same as training at all, if I made one tiny mistake, I would have died, and I still can't believe I'm still alive."
Yeah well what about that fucking ladder that became basically a chimney and the locked roof door?
Fucking bullshit. The amnagement is trying to cover their asses. I won't be surprised if that whole building plan violated the fire code

Can I 1v1 Aoba? Then I would with the combined power of the 20+ people behind my back

Holy fucking shit.

I'm a NEET but since this has happened I've definitely been a lot more alert of my surroundings when at the grocery store or at a restaurant or something, not just for fires but in case of a mass shooter too.

Attached: 80eb280074170b4ed6feba7ed49e9af0.jpg (800x640, 83K)

I've been thinking about those burning hoes my whole life.

Attached: mio scared.gif (320x480, 629K)

Same as the Titanic, it's easy to look back and condemn, but nobody at the time thought something like this would happen
Well, unless Japan changes their safety codes, this will just happen again, maybe not this century but eventually

That's just the thing, the president requested that the police not release the names of the victims so we won't know for some time who died and who didn't.

>can use it to make a bunch of money
>can also use it to draw my waifu doing things I'd never get to see in my spare time
Yes

>all these people going "lol just jump ezpz"

>just instantly jump out of the window
>why didn't they just sense the guy downstairs?

NEET or not, everyone needs even a fair amount of safety awareness.
Remember, "Safety doesn't happen by accident."

Rude, but I applaud you for citing the consequences for doing such act, you fucking tsundere.

Attached: 1533387561997.png (648x720, 240K)

For this to have a somehow, brighter end in the long run, Kyoani only needs to survive. And hope all this tragic event resonates with the new generation of young japanese animators or aspirants to work harder than ever for making the studio great again. Sometimes it takes greats sacrifices to achieve new heights, and it won't happen soon, of course, but maybe in 10 years the new inspired and grateful generation will honor the greatness of their dear successors with the same passionate and loving drive for excellence.

>2階ベランダに出た。「(飛び降りたら)死ぬか、大けがをするかもしれない」
jesus christ, afraid of jumping from the second floor, i did that all the time in elementary school

>not being depressed and preemptively jumping anyway to commit suicide, only to survive and learn you also survived burning to death

user, when you weight like 4~5 times that, you begin to hesitate eventually.

>not using your stand ability to preemptively stop the arsonist while still working at your desk

>land on your head
And crack it like a sparrow egg?

>Dude had a history of violent crime that he spent multiple years in jail for
>Killed 30+ random people
>Wait wait, let's hear him out, maybe they did steal his idea

He is one of those crazy schizoids that thinks the TV is trying to communicate with him

The hardest part is not just that they lost people, but they lost some of their most important people.
>and third floor are animator and director, usually noising and talking
So they're not only without most of their talent, but also their leadership, and you don't recover from a tragedy this bad without good leadership. As much as I want to hope beyond hope they can somehow come back, the son of a bitch did a devastating number on them. And right now the survivors are more like scattered parts that can't function without their main components.

What's the best way to survive a fall like this?

at least you're honest unlike the countless other anons who have shared practical action sequences had they been in the fire

Damn user, you to?
Ever since this fire I couldn't stop thinking about it

Attached: 1563659899593.png (190x265, 6K)

Roll a die and hope you don't get critical

I want to know what happened on the top floor.

Was the guy just panicked and couldn't open it? No one even made it the roof, and apparently it was locked.

I can tell you that I almost certainly would have freaked out and died. My heart goes out to all of these people.

Lower yourself down so you're hanging out of the window with your arms extended, drop, let your legs bend and absorb the shock, and cover your head. a 2nd floor fall would be very, very unlikely to kill you anyway.

The mere concept of sarcasm.

Burger education uses it as an example for the need of Labor Unions and the cause of worker's rights, although for all I remember they had a union, albeit a shit one.

The rooftop door wasn't locked and opened outwards. There was a new report where an employee mentioned that the door had a handle that was particularly difficult to operate and that many newcomers struggle to open that door at first.

From a second floor?
Don't land on your head and don't land in such a fucked way that you destroy your leg your leg and somehow can't get medical attention for days

Attached: 1563575004521.jpg (660x497, 89K)

They should get a job

oh great, all the most important people are kept on the third floor, this is just what I wanted to hear today

even the male employees were afraid to jump from the second floor, what kind of people worked there?

My university's emergency doors are always locked.

In school they mostly used it as an example of why safe working conditions are needed and regulations are in place, and why you should never let go of those things.
Also the lesson that if you run a business run it safely or the families of your dead workers will sue you out of existence

Yeah, that's why the "survive" part. If they can't, that's the worst case scenario. Arsonist won. But if Kyoani is stronger than that, yeah he killed irreplaceable human beings, but he couldn't kill the foundation. That's when you pass from great, to legendary. You know, even if their next works are 1/10 of their signature quality, I want to think that, not only me but the majority of people will appreciate Kyoani is still with us. Time will heal all sorrows eventually.

It depends on the type of building. Temporary residences such as motels and hotels classed as Group R-1 are required to have these low exit signs.

animators aren't exactly the most adventurous kind of people, most of them probably spent most of their lives indoors without having much in the experience of hard outdoor experiences, the fact that this guy that jumping from a second story was more dangerous than a fire tells as much

*My school

Not everyone is a 150kg sack of lard carried by two sticks

3 meters aren't high at all. I jumped from 4 meters with no injuries. well, depends how you land and you prepared you are to jump. I suppose while in panic, you don't think and injuries could happen

it doesn't confirm anything, the people in the fire are learning the information the same way you did, over the net

>run it safely or the families of your dead workers will sue you out of existence

Why do I feel as though even this right will get sacrificed to capitalism soon? Not a commie btw.

Attached: us_stronk.jpg (736x414, 57K)

The families of all the dead and injured Will get reparations from the company for using such a shitty and unsafe building with locked exits yeah?

Attached: 1547862317169.png (293x296, 16K)

It is not hard to put anime on tv nowadays. Did you see cop craft animation quality? It was absolutely shit, the corpse of kyoani would have put out a better quality show with ease.

Had I been there with my trusty and tested AR15 none of this would have happened. Not to brag, but I have a keen ability to read people's intention and can remain calm enough to make split second decision based on rational logic.

>My university's emergency doors are always locked.
RIP

Eh it's just, that the building violates few safety regulations in burgerland and since most anons are burgers they don't understand why wasn't the building up to standard

user the right to sue over everything is the greatest American right in all of existence a considerable pass time of all Americans, no corporation would want to get rid of it because they use it just as much if not more

Attached: dbppe8u-8e935f22-c3db-4e6c-920e-1d775591f2ac.png (667x1000, 1.12M)

>Shitty animation
>Cop craft
>Not Demon Lord, Retry!
You're not even trying user.

That'll die eventually. We have a handed-down boner for exactitude in building. I guarantee you every burger can find a carpenters pencil and a 45 degree angle without much trouble. Hank Hill exists.

Mostly it's the oppressive state and federal governments though. They really enforce.

plus it's just cheaper to uphold the safety regulations than constantly lose your shit

I take it you haven't watch ep3 of it yet. The sudden static shot of the action scene was a fucking abomination

How this did this fucker start pouring fuckloads of gasoline through the whole building and nobody did anything about it?

the boobs would cushion the impact

After the KyoAni fire, I looked around for the fire safety features in my office building and they were quite impressive.
Multiple sealed stairwells with fire doors slightly recessed into the wall. The fire doors are held open by electromagnets connected to the fire alarm, and they close simultaneously when needed to prevent smoke from filling the entire building. All escape route doors open outwards with crash bars. A throng of panicked people could just push themselves out of the building, barely any thinking required.
American regulations are really well developed after century of deadly fires and CYA from litigation.

If you think a magical subtle kike knife can't gracefully part the rights of the people from the corporations, you haven't been paying attention. Sure there was Citizens U, but that was corporate interest.

Why the fuck do anons keep repeating this question instead of reading the threads?

i would hang from the balcony rail, then let go

Most likely from the city, Kyoto and their backasswards heritage ordinances and shit

>He probably didn't even think to grab his phone or anything to use as a light source
Light won't get through the smoke, dumbass. You won't be able to even keep your eyes opened in it.

Attached: 1541557895842.png (320x400, 241K)

Why do you repeat this statement every time?

This. If everyone expected that a plane would bomb the twin towers, buildings would have a mandatory anti-air gun batteries on their rooftops with lookouts manned 24/7.

Why do you have to act like a lazy retard?

He put it in a bucket, dumped it in the lobby, yelled "die!", and then lit it (and himself) on fire with a lighter.

Takemoto was ugly though, so it's no huge loss really

my surge protection can handle 3000 joules

Why do you always state the obvious?

You must be confused. She is Yamada-tan.

Faggot

>Dont land on your head

>Drink enough milk daily so your bones dont shatter into dust from second floor jump lmao
Wow! You survived the fall with no injuries unless you had a bad luck, and even then those would be non-lethal.

Because you're a fag

>the director that has the most to gain was conviently just outside of office drinking coffee at the time of the incident
>now the most important and senior staff in the company second only to hatta
Really make you think

Japan has a しょうがない attitude towards fire. Maybe firebombed a bit too hard back during WWII?

For example the Myojo 56 fire which killed 44 in 2001 had international/American style fire protection on the stairwells, but the self-closing fire doors were propped open and that doomed everyone on the 4th floor.

Will all the jojoniggers hang themselves if Davidpro gets bombed?

Like professionals do (pic related). This position reduce your terminal speed. Bye.

Attached: 23423534.jpg (640x427, 30K)

The issue is that they'd be starting from scratch cause all of their work was lost as well. And since half of the people responsible for that work were also lost. If they still had their work on a cloud or something, it'd be so much easier to continue their legacy, like how some of Avicii's friends finished his last projects for the Tim album. But here, the only things that survived were the staff that escaped. All their progress was lost, so if they tried to come back, it'd mean they'd have to do all that work over with half the people to do it. And without strong leadership, I just don't know if the group can build the morale necessary to hold what's left together.

Did Mrs Hatta die? You'd think he'd mention that

>dude just jump from the 2nd or 3rd floor lmao, overcome your normal humane fear of death like LOL dude just take a leap haha it's daijobu

retard, that's not how humans work under that kind of stress

Shut your whore mouth. This absolute qt is KyoAni's best hope for their resurrection.

Implying she wasn't already the most important staff in the company previously. She already had first picks of all the projects, and essentially free reign to work on anything she wished to.

no shit, people judging them and trash-talking them for being "women" or pussies are so fucking ridiculous it's insane to me

OR
>get drunk
>jump out window
>body naturally goes limp
>live and take a drunken diarrhea shit on the arsonist

Every office should have emergency liquor which should be consumed at the start of the work day and readministered every other hour to ensure employee safety.

And yet those that had the chance to jump, jumped. You are the retard here

Only 1 deceased for the 60s age group.
It is either hatta or kigami, people already wrote obituary for kigami so it is to safe to say that she survived.

>yfw next time you see Yamada, she will seems like 10 years older, smell like cigar, eye bags, and with no trace of their former cheerfulness. Probably develops some addition, and suffers frequent emotional breakdowns.
Feels bad man.

Parkour exists but I am too physically unfit for Parkour. People who have the will to jump that high have a certain mentality that only belongs to stuntmen or those "Xtreme" players, you know those people who bike or skateboard doing extreme stunts and are used to injuring themselves when stunts go wrong.

You basically have to turn off your Brain asking why the fuck are you trying to jump off a building. I experienced something similar before when I was young during a Grand Canyon tour. Looking over the ledge turned my legs and feet into pancakes. Now, I know an apartment building balcony isn't as high as the Grand Canyon but you don't understand how your body processes fear until it happens to you.

Not everybody can be Jackie Chan.

>shits burning
>I know! Let's open some alcohol here!

yes because not everybody acts the same you idiot...fucking hell

That's why they drink at the START of the work day, silly.

>her hair, both on the head and vagina burned away
Gross, at least she won't get the female bonus anymore

Why didn't they just do this?

Attached: 1563513444376.png (600x600, 29K)

Why did your mom do that to you as baby?

Everyone in that situation would do their best to survive you fucking idiot. Even your retarded ass would do your best to survive even tho you shouldn't for being a retard

>survive
You won't die from a 2nd floor fall unless you land on your head. You can go unscathed if you land on your feet and bend your legs on impact.
3rd floor and up you'll (probably) break a few bones if you're not used to high jumps.

You need practice for that, just like paratroopers practice how they land when they parashoot.

land on your ass

That's why you don't start again.
Kyoani should not try to re-start what they lost, but rather start with a whole new project, closing the cicle now is the best they can do for their mental health. Perhaps just do some in-between works for different studios in the first years, train new animators while doing so, and eventually try with some new project but from zero. That's the best way I see for them to start fresh, and somehow relieve the emotional charge the staff will carry for the rest of their lifes.

When I've had to jump from a few meters up, I just looked away and fell. As long as I didn't hit my head, I'd survive the fall. It can't be as easy for someone who has a fucking fire behind them, and the fall in front of them though

That's actually for midgets and small pets.

I was in a 7 mag earthquake in the early 2000s and immediately made for the window despite being 3 floors up
people always say that's dumb and maybe it is, but I feel confident now it was the correct decision

That's the best way to get your spine fucked up.

Then why didn't they user ? WHY ?

Did the building come down or did you end up jumping from the window like a fucking idiot?

So this testimony debunks that rumour of the rooftop door being locked.

That was debunked the very same day when firefighters opened the door on the roof, doesn't stop retards spreading fake news without source all day though.

Six years ago, here in Brazil, 242 people, mostly young, died like this in a nightclub.

Midgets can't read

happened in my country too in 2015 (romania), another night club with shitty fire safety - 64 died

I remember two separate incidents within the last couple of years in Africa of poor villagers rushing to scoop up gas from flipped over tanker trucks and someone lighting a cig or something and completely disintegrating 100+ people.

I watched a video about that, apparently that nightclub was completely unequipped for fire safety. No sprinklers, emergency exits, nothing. 242 people died in the worst way possible, fucking insane and sad.

Milk doesn't make the bone stronger. That was just marketing, conspiracy whatever.

Being shorter would be a big advantage because you weigh less.

THEY TRIED user. THEY TRIED. although the people on the first floor got absolutely fucked with no chance at all

Very lucky. But that's forever in his mind now.

Dear Lord. Broke my heart.

This right here is for the retards in the earlier threads that said jumping from the windows and balconies was stupid.

Have fun dying in a fire then.

Climb/hang down and land bent legs first like said. It's ideal if you roll upon landing, but more important to protect your head. Bending legs can absorb a lot more force than anything else.

>Just wanted to draw animu and get interviewed by people from NHK
>Instead my friends get burned to death and I suffer from 3rd degree burns and my favorite anime shirt is burned to a crisp
Jesus christ man...

fucking Haruhi S3 will never happen now god dammit.

So it's not the guy in the convenience store picture.

Is that really him? The first one at the convenience store, he looked pudgy and pale.

Why couldn't it be a female? Burned tits is my fetish

>What's the best way to survive a fall like this?
When I flew in a jet trainer the instructor said to do this if I had to bail out. Keep both feet together with knees slightly bent, use you leg strength to absorb some of the impact and make you tumble onto your knees and shoulder.

Those that jumped lived.
Those that didn't died.
Do the fucking math.

>locked
Newfag or fucking stupid?

Don't believe it, he looks rather normal. Only ugly people do horrible things

Man that was already 6 years ago? Time flies.

Die, most likely. Along with all the Rambo wannabes in this thread.

Did you fucking read the damn article or are you brain dead? 1-3 minutes in, you couldn't see anything anymore and the smoke was so bad it can knock you out sooner.

That's what they're saying on the tv.

Was Yamada even there or supposed to be there? I thought by how quickly she was confirmed safe after the incidence indicated she wasn't even there.

most thought they could go to the roof and be fine. You probably would to if you see many of your colleagues do so. They didn't really knew how fast the smoke and fire would spread. Anyone who went towards the stairs instead of a window sealed their fate since there was no turning back to any floor. It was just everyone underestimating the fire.

You didn't read the damn article and you are in fact brain dead. Read you dumb shit.

It takes a ready mind and an able body to make the split decision of jumping in 10 seconds.

Keep in mind that this dude is 50 or something, he was pretty nimble and determined to have accomplished that.

the convenience store was like from few years ago. might also be another guy

How'd it burn so fast? Did they let that guy just go around dousing everything in gasoline the entire time?

So fucking what?
Their decision to go for the roof instead of a window cost them their life.
You don't need 3 minutes to reach a window.
Jumping was the quickest and safest way out.

God, it might just be a random passerby who happened to be wearing a red shirt that day. Poor guy will get death threats.

Have we had the information of his education and his attitude when he was at school?

Families just lost their source of income.

Again how the fuck did he bring down a 3 story building with just a canteen of gasoline? Are there no sprinklers in buildings over there? Did no one try tackling him as he threw that shit? Was he dousing the entire perimeter of the building before he went in?

Go to liveleak, look up what a gasoline fire looks like.

he had a 10 gallon bucket and threw it around. Takes 3 seconds. Sprinklers wont stop a gasoline fire. It gets so hot it melts the sprinkler system.

Pretty sure everyone at kyoani had insurance. Kyoani did try to be good to their employees after all

All the most talented and important people from my favorite anime studio taken out in one fell swoop. There's no way I can cope with this, this is just gonna be agonizing to think about for the rest of my life probably. Anime was one of the last things I got any pleasure out of and KyoAni was a big part of that and now they're dead; even if they make a come back they'll be a radically different company than they were before and there will be tragedy and trauma hanging over them forever. I wouldn't wish this shit on my worst enemies and it happened to the people from my favorite studio, how the fuck do you deal with something like that?

I just kind of wish I wouldn't wake up tomorrow. The grief has been devastating; I can't think straight, I've barely eaten, it's just killing me on the inside.

That's why lynch mobs is a terrible thing. One can argue if the guy deserve worse than what he'll legally get, but lynch mobs often target the wrong people

The best way for them to bounce back would be getting gifted the IP of a masterpiece anime, like death note or ditf

Frankly anyone who wear a fannypack in public deserves what ever terrible things the universe throws their way.

this building would never be allowed like that in America.

Money is the last of their problems, the movies that they have ready will sell enough to cover 2 other buildings "thanks" to this tragedy, I'll be more worry about their mood, can you imagine them just sitting on their new office drawing cute girls without getting a panic attack every 5 seconds? They need to find new talents somewhere, and now that's something money won't just buy that easy.

I get the smoke thing on the ground floor, but wouldn't it be fairly less useful on the floors above?

Why the fuck is it so small

Oh wait, forget it.

And it's all fucking open, including both stairwells. At least the place looked nice before getting everyone killed.

This. It has too much soul and comfort. Can't let the drones have that

Its life or death. Broken legs vs certain death. Most people would jump in that situation. Unfortunately given the fact the smoke came out and started spreading "in 10 seconds", theres a high chance a lot of other workers never had the time to get to any balcony or 2nd floor from 3rd, before the fumes made them pass out.

Can someone physics this up?!

Psycho

I wonder what goes through his head as he's on his way.

Not really countering my arguments retard. With intense heat, poor visibility, noxious fumes and what not you're lucky to get to that balcony soon enough before you pass out. Literally, you are fucking brain dead.

To the deepest crevices of hell, hopefully.

>follow everyone else going to the stairs

that's why, crowd mentality. By the time they realized how much smoke was filling the stairs there's no where to turn. Anyone who didnt immediately go to the window didn't make it. Smoke filled all floors in less than 30 seconds.

Learn from those who jumped. Maybe one day you'll stop being such a faggot and grow a pair.

Probably nothing. Just look at look how calm he is

I see nothing was learned from the firebombing campaign.

He walked nearly 3 hours from station to site, as the news spoke, also he smashed his PC and broken ssd into dust

Better to drop on legs, then assist with hands.
Dropping on back might be very lethal, since you need to protect your spine.
Broken legs and hands(in worst case, but you need to really fuck up landing to hurt your feet) is nothing to dying in very painful way.

>dude, in this peaceful era, we must consider if America attacks us again

Tell me to go back for all I care. Doesn't change the fact that those who are underestimating this shit is really appalling.

As if you guys think you have the iron lung to last in that thick black smoke while being caught in such a surprise.

>In less then 10 second, ink black smoke started pouring in from the staircase downstair
They didn't have 3 minutes, they had barely had 10seconds to make a decision, probably those next to balcony went for it and those next to the stairs went for that.

It is a just 3-5m drop, it is just like a bicycle crash

And look where that lack of consideration got them

I'm the only one hearing it?
youtube.com/watch?v=I_izvAbhExY

They did not have sprinklers, in fact. It wasn't a canteen, faggot, he had a cart with large canisters on it. One guy did charge him, and succeeded in chasing him out and ensuring he was apprehended, but the fire was already going by then.

Parachute Fall

Attached: Parachute_landing_fall.jpg (576x744, 48K)

What's with those photos of kids

again, crowd mentality. You follow where most people go. Most went to the stairs.

Sure survival expert. I hope you never get into a life threatening situation like this. Someone else would be laughing at your death.

The house was built like a smokestack. Two open stairs running throughout the building made sure that thing lit up like a fireplace.

if my thinking wasn't hazed by an adrenaline-rush alongside fire and smoke, the best course of action is to try to leverage my body and hang from the balcony (or edge of the bottom of the window) with my body fully outstretched, then quickly let go and keep my two legs shoulder-width apart.

from there, hope that i land on my feet and then roll forward towards my shoulder and hope that i didn't break my bones or spine.

this is all if you even have the quick thinking to have this all happen in a minute/seconds during a panic.

Its his photos, from earlier age

>also he smashed his PC and broken ssd into dust
Motherfucker, what was he hiding?

He's smart ass motherfucker.

It's actually not difficult to make it at least OSHA fire escape regulation compliant without ruining the comfy.

1) Secure the spiral stair case with fire-rated glass walls and doors
2) Add fire doors to the other staircase.
3) Remove the wood veneer in the staircase, replace wall insulation if needed.
4) Hold fire doors open with electromagnetic holders to avoid inconvenience
5) Cut an exit-only doorway at the bottom of the regular staircase

Done. Minimal loss of comfy and not even that expensive of a renovation. Would've prevented the 20 deaths in the stairwell and probably the 11 on the second floor as well.

Always land on your feet. That's the most important thing. Land on your feet. There are no vital organs in your legs.

His contacts from M*SSAD

While landing under a parachute canopy, the jumper's feet strike the ground first and, immediately, he throws himself sideways to distribute the landing shock sequentially along five points of body contact with the ground:

1. the balls of the feet
2. the side of the calf
3. the side of the thigh
4. the side of the hip, or buttocks
5. the side of the back (latissimus dorsi muscle)

During a parachute landing fall, the jumper's legs are slightly bent at the knee, the chin is tucked in, and the parachute risers may be grasped in an arm-bar protecting the face and throat, with the elbows tucked into the sides to prevent injury. Alternatively, the hands can be linked behind the neck with elbows tucked in close.

It eliminates the force from the feet to the side of the stomach

>They did not have sprinklers
Sprinklers don't do shit against what is in effect a fucking gasoline explosion. Sprinklers stop glow fires.
Do you even know how combustible gasoline is? Gasoline has a boiling point of 35 degrees celcius, it has a flashpoint of -40 degrees celcius.

Panic bars. Nonflammable stairwells. Protected vertical penetrations. Sprinklers. Smoke detectors. Smoke extraction, Pressurization, .... tons of fire protection technology exists it is just low rise Japanese buildings don't require them. I hope Kyoto animation goes beyond the code in the future. All buildings should at minimum have sprinklers, smoke detection, two emergency egress paths even if one is a rope ladder. Panic bars on all exterior doors/stairwells are a must. From accounts large number of staff died before they could reach the roof which would have been safe because the door required two simultaneous interactions to open the latch which is really dumb even if the roof wasn't a fire escape path it shouldn't have had such a difficult to open mechanism.

You really are fucking brain dead. Read the article. Stop posting bullshit without reading the article, you fucking moron.

You expect these retards to know? What they keep coming up as countermeasures are for a standard accidental fire, not a fucking gasoline fire.

What's with the photo of the scribbles?

I'm seriously curious as to what happened up there. Maybe they used it for storage and equipment got in the way? Maybe there was a human crush much like The Station Nightclub fire.
That door is pretty small.

Says the moron who can't read for shit.

The solution to this stupid debate is to make paper cranes out of money

Sprinklers would have delayed the flashover event which killed everyone.

Extending that glass smoke screen to the floor would have saved all their lives likely by interrupting the stack effect and preventing the flashover from instantly killing anyone left on all 3 floors.

No they wouldn't.

Don't forget that the other stairwell was open as well. The place had two chimneys and people had to use them for escape or jump out of a window.

Water mist systems would have extinguished a small gasoline fire they are meant to put out fires in cruise ship engine rooms. For smaller installations instead of using expensive ultra-pressure pumps nitrogen gas cylinders can supply enough pressure to extinguish an office fire even with gasoline added. (Bonus of using nitrogen is the O2 level would drop slightly with system activation)

youtube.com/watch?v=tKXiNdJMhgA

Learn the parkour roll, it literally rolls the damage of the impact through your legs. youtube.com/watch?v=grQWEXBDkJY

of course, that is the priority.
but i was trying to allude to how it might be IN the moment, because that could all fly out of the window (no pun intended) when you're stuck in a situation where you have to do that thinking in a second.

Too bad actual fire experts disagree with you and said sprinklers would've slowed the process. Good thing we have some random guy on the internet to correct all those experts quoted in the news.

Explain why it wouldn't. The water suppression would cool the gases near the roof not the gasoline. Flashover occurs when the hot gases accumulating at the roof auto-ingnite. Sprinkler systems would delay this on pure thermodynamics. Even if a standard system can't put out the gasoline fire it would reduce the intensity giving more time to escape.

This is fucking terrifying
I had NO idea fire and smoke would move this fast. I always figured you'd have minutes, not seconds.

Except this wasn't a "small gasoline fire". This was 40 liters of gasoline going up in a fireball.
The only way you stop that shit is by dousing it with either carbon dioxide or halon gas to starve the fire, both of which will kill anyone caught inside.

And for your information, ships run on diesel oil, not gasoline.

Read the article, moron.

In a "normal" fire situation, you probably have a couple of minutes.

>From accounts large number of staff died before they could reach the roof which would have been safe because the door required two simultaneous interactions to open the latch which is really dumb even if the roof wasn't a fire escape path it shouldn't have had such a difficult to open mechanism.

It's unclear whether they even got to the door or passed out halfway up the stairs because the stairs were not protected from smoke. Isolation of stairwells is cheap and there's no reason why even low rise buildings shouldn't have it done.

>The jury acquitted the two men of first- and second-degree manslaughter, but they were found liable of wrongful death during a subsequent civil suit in 1913 in which plaintiffs were awarded compensation in the amount of $75 per deceased victim. The insurance company paid Blanck and Harris about $60,000 more than the reported losses, or about $400 per casualty.
Fuck those commie fire regulations. :^)

Having open stairwells is absurd even if they wanted them default open which is a bad idea they could have at least used fusible links on partitions that would close if a fire rushed up them. When I meant extend the glass smoke screen I meant at least put glass doors on the stairwell to impede smoke/fire progression.

I thought they had like 30s, not fucking 10s.

Just run my ass

The smoke, the smoke over 2700 F degrees filled the building in an instant. You can't move in the smoke.

Probably didn't help that 80-90% of the interior looks like it was made of flammables.

>smoke out the windows
So the windows were open. Why didn't they jump out again? They have no excuse

Don't lecture me dullard. Learn reading comprehension first.

Most of them couldn't even see the damn windows.

Well, Anons you and so called fire masters and rambos in this thread replace the staffs.

How many actually survive?

Cruise ships don't run on gasoline, but the much less volatile diesel or marine oil.

says the guy who has never been in a stituation like that

To be fair, without those poor guys, none of the sluts would have work. Why do people insist on shitting on job creators feeding them and their families?

11 tried in 2nd floor and didn't work

What the fuck, does google do a daily update in Japan?

The shitposters here think they can move like normal. Fucking hilarious.

Default open is fine. At my workplace, stairwell doors are held open using magnetic door holders.
When the fire alarm is triggered, all fire doors close automatically.

Attached: hodor.png (688x540, 94K)

None because nobody is strong enough to push the fatass who got stuck in the window

Ever tried smoke diving?
Even with full gear on, you have nothing to orient yourself by except touch. In this situation, you and everyone around you is in full panic shitting bricks mode, you're also breathing smoke filled with burning particles. Good luck.

They sure are quick. Do those cars always wait for incidents like this to happen and drive around it like vultures?

40 liters is a tiny amount of gasoline when your talking about industrial level fire protection. Carbon dioxide/halon are the worst extinguishing agents for gasoline as it will re-ignite when the gas is flushed out. You have to cool and contain fuel fires. You clearly know absolutely nothing about fuel fires.

For your information most ships use bunker oil not diesel yet.

Clean agents like carbon dioxide/halon are meant to protect engine rooms/servers in small tiny fires so that no damage to equipment occurs. When things get crazy water mist system are activated as they can knock down explosive fuel fires and cool the environment rapidly. For serious fires foam agents are required if you had a lake of gasoline with millions of gallons on fire.

For most new buildings that exceed 5,000 square feet in size or buildings with renovations increasing the total size to over 12,000 feet, sprinkler systems are the law.

Read the article, dumbass. Come back for a lecture after you read it.

Using this scheme The stairwells are protected with >1 hour rated fire doors so everyone on the second and third floors just evacuates down the stairwell and out the emergency exit with plenty of time to spare. Sucks for the people on the first floor though. They should've tackled the fatso.

>conventional sprinkler systems
>petrol fire
Fucking retard.

bottom left: dream for the future: very rich

>bunker oil
aka MDO - marine diesel oil.

40 liters is half a tank. That's not a tiny amount by any measure in a small building like that.

So many fucking retards in here acting like there were no obstacles blocking people from getting out.

Burn motherfucker burn

such a pretty place, jesus.

The convenience store photo was of some other retard who tried to rob it with scissors. Aoba used a knife and surely he wasn't wearing the same T-shirt for 7 years.

They didn't stand a fucking chance no matter what normal fire measures were in place.

>BuT WhY diDnt dEy jsT JuMP!?
Literally the only argument they have.

Have the chimps calmed down? I remember them screaming how his parents, siblings and extended family should be tortured as well in the start. Hope they came to their fucking senses

At this point I'm surprised 30+ people did survive, what a fucking disaster

Attached: 1563860115291.png (960x688, 321K)

Out of how many?

I'm assuming the first floor flashed over and they all died in the open stairwell. Something as simple as a door would have saved most of their lives. Even a non-rated glass door would give them at least a minute or two of protection to reach the roof with rated assemblies providing 30m to 3hrs of protection.

The point is the fire fighting system can handle most types of fuel fire. 40L of gasoline is nothing for a mist water suppression system. These systems protect oil refineries, natural gas turbines (methane is even more explosive than gasoline), etc...

Electromagnetic door holders are good middle ground but default close is safer as no smoke can escape by default so there is no lag in the doors closing. At minimum fusible links as they are dirt cheap but quite laggy.

Read the article, you fucking retard.

Doesn't sound like an intuitive sequence of motions. Is there not a simpler method?

Even if there was no obligation to install an emergency staircase, at least an emergency door should have been installed. The first rule to prevent the fire from spreading is not to put a flame in the stairwell. This was not possible on the spiral staircase.

The guy only used 10 liters, though, although I don't know how it could have been any worse than it already was. If he threw out the whole 40 liters he probably would have killed everybody on the first floor including himself.

Around 70, iirc

Damn.

74 is the number I've seen.

There's what looks like chairs up there so I don't think so. It was probably used by people on a regular basis. What may have happened is that going up was the second choice after going down looked impossible. They then realize the stairwell is simply clogged with smoke to the point you can't see shit since the smoke rises. People trip and clog up the stairs, some try to go back, all ends up a mess, all become incapacitated in seconds before they can even contemplate a third option.

Don't forget you have an entire office full of panicking people toppling chairs, tables, shit on top of tables, everything and you can't see shit.
The only ones who live in a situation like that had window seating and managed to keep control over themselves.

He brought in 40 liters in a bucket, splashed 10 liters around and lit it up.
Did you think the gasoline liquid itself is the shit burning? Guess again, it's the vapours.

Read the article, you fucking retard.

Watch video inside that link and see white smoke from paper, so thick and high. Be amased how so little buildind produce that many.

If only nips care about their surrounding people...

Attached: hurts.jpg (367x367, 118K)

It doesn't sound intuitive because it's being explained on paper. In practice it happens in a second. You literally just fall feet first with knees unlocked, once your feet hit the ground you immediately lurch towards the direction of your momentum, turning to your side and letting the side of your legs, hips, then back hit the floor to spread out the impact.

He didn't have 40L in the bucket. That would be a huge fucking bucket. He had two 20L gas cans, and a bucket that looks like it held maybe 10L.

He did set himself on fire pretty badly. Isn't he still in a medically induced coma at a burn unit?

>Electromagnetic door holders are good middle ground but default close is safer as no smoke can escape by default so there is no lag in the doors closing.

I think the biggest risk for auto-closing doors is people putting shit in the doorways because it's always open. 44 died in the Myojo fire because of that.

It's natural that many people rushed to the roof.

Attached: studio_no1.jpg (1920x1080, 205K)

It will all depend wheter an important seiyuu died or not, if no seiyuu died then people will forget this in a couple of weeks, if a seiyuu did died then the Yakuza will hunt down every single person, animal and insect that was in contact with the fat bastard.

I'm not amazed, because I've had basic firefighting training + search and rescue instead of the standard mandatory military service here.
Through that I also did a smoke divers course and have taken part in controlled burning of old houses.

You should have worked as an animator in Kyo-ani...

Can't draw for shit and not big on their series.

>Isn't he still in a medically induced coma at a burn unit?

Last I heard, yeah. I have my doubts that he'll live to serve his sentence.

But wouldn't the nearest window be the safety route?

Yes, because people caught in mass panic situation like that are capable of using logic.
The very few who were capable of using logic survived, the rest didn't.

The wood is a far more deadly fuel source in the building by volume. Gasoline is only 2x energy density of wood given the amount of wood/plastic in the building having sprinklers cool secondary fuels which formed the bulk of the fuel would have saved lives and slowed the fire significantly. When all the wood burns it produces flammable gases that contribute to the massive flashover. Sprinklers even standard ones would have delayed this significantly. And if they had glass doors walls extended around the wooden staircase sprinklers would cool the glass walls preventing it from breaking due to the heat preventing the first floor flash over from travelling upward. Gasoline started the fire but all that wood made it a lasting inferno. The gasoline burned off rapidly but set fire to a lot of wood which had no sprinklers to cool it making the fire exponentially more deadly.

Read the article, you fucking retard.

But 70% of the workers are young female who love anime, right.

People tend to take paths that they usually take. So first the spiral stairs (nope it's billowing smoke and fire) and then the regular stairs (it's also billowing smoke) and then they're overwhelmed by the smoke trying to get to the roof.

Thats wrong, if people dying, no one should disturb them

You don't even use logic. You react on instinct or you die.

Read the article, you fucking retard.

>future dreams: to be very rich
The guy was a selfish jerk even as a kid.

Some people would have been closer to the stairs than the windows. On the third floor jumping would have been much more dangerous.

I think dead people on 2nd floor didn't even reach it. There was one witness account of someone reaching a window and dying there

Exactly. And their ingrained instinct that they've received since they were children doing their first fire drills in school was - Head for the emergency exit.
Which was the fucking rooftop, where they found a pile of smoldering corpses.

If they knew the extent of the fire, maybe. Looking at the layout of the building their fire drill probably required them to use one of the two available stairwells.
Spiral stairwell is out of the question. So they probably went down the regular stairs (assuming those weren't already on fire), saw that exit was blocked, and made their way back upstairs. By that point the fire likely propagated up through the spiral stairwell onto the second and third floor, blocking off the windows with smoke. As is pointed out by the survivor who jumped, smoke had quickly made itself up to the third floor in seconds.

there's a loud explosion and a little bit of smoke. You see everyone go to the stairs. Seems natural, why jump out the window? You follow the herd and didn't understand the severity of the situation. Seconds later smoke has filled the floors with a blazing heat and you're on the stairs with everyone else. There's no where to turn at this point.

Brazil keeps burning.

Please feel free to jump out a window the next fire drill you participate in.

well, if anything, now's the time for NHK to "legally" trespass his parent's property and look for clues inside his room

They never imagined a real dark flame master would visit them.

>You see everyone go to the stairs
Sounds like the smoke spread so fast that this part didn't happen, at least not on the second floor. Maybe on the third, but up there jumping was probably not an option, either.

And this is why the IBC says exit stairways have to be smokeproof.

Like people ever react the same in drills as they do in the real thing.

>I think we have enough wood, now let's fill the place with paper, let's just hope that no one will show up with 40 liters of gasoline

I enjoyed the celebration party.

How long until someone makes a movie about it?

Yeah, they should have drawn on clay tablets in a naked concrete building.

>wanting a secure life is selfish
Californian?

According to what he posted on 2ch(?), the arsonist ranted about Kyoani stealing all his ideas, even those on notes. It's like he thought they could probe his mind or are actually hacking him. That's why he quit writing altogether.

The behavior is usually closer to what they do in drills than some new spontaneous strategy

I remember that, it was some retarded fireworks and insulation combination, but at least the fire code is stricter now. I wonder if Japan will change anything.

Sucks for KyoAni to get targeted by a schizo of all the studios.

The point is that drills never prepare you for the real thing, so in the event, if your instincts don't lead you out, then you'll probably die, because you're not going to have time to think it through logically.

Truly clusterfuck dinky winky wonkyfuckbrain

It will probably be written off as an aberration. Then again, all of this media attention might force reform. Hard to say.

First two posts

It was designed for easy escape during earthquakes not to fight terrorists.

The worst part is this guy is fucking insane but he's also intelligent enough to plan this thing well and get the most out damage out of it as possible. Spent two days scouting locations alone, probably even managed to get building blue prints or enough information from those documentaries inside the studio. Knowledgeable about gasoline fires, even got buckets so that shit would spread faster, it was extremely well thought out and planned, but it was done by an completely insane guy for completely insane reasons, unbelievable.

That's only in extreme circumstances, such as this one. A regular drill will probably prepare you for the typical scenario, where if you are cut off and must think of a new solution, you can logically do so, like weigh the pros and cons of breaking a window and jumping out, versus finding an alternate exit to walk from.

>those shit writers at kyoani are coming up with the same stale and wortless ideas as me! gotta burn them all!

Do you think that kyoani would still be standing if they put more effort into writing their shows?

>purposely turns off translate to make it seem like they know japanese
the cringe is palpable.

That also means he can't escape the capital punishment tho. He knew full well what will happen to his clause.

Could have been barisaku.

He's probably going to die before even receiving one.

There was no way Japan legal system would have let this guy off regardless of his mental state.

A case by Hideo Kojima

EOP pls go.

It's not a car but someone with a 360° camera taking pictures. You don't need to be a google car or work for google to upload these pictures on their website.
You can see the guy's name and avatar top left.

You hang from the balcony using your arms and then fall down, helps avoiding going too fast and helps falling straight on your legs. Can be done fast as well if you're the agile type.

With him havign 40 litres, but only using 10, you have to wonder if he was planning on visiting the other building and maybe the shop down the road too.

Read the article, you fucking retard.

Honestly praying he recovers so he can serve his sentence and get the noose.
He'd be getting of light if he croaked now.

The fucker finally did it

whats the address, i dont believe you

Google it you retard

starting tearing up when I was re-watching k-on the other day. Fuck this senseless shit.

did, cant fucking get to building 1, only the otherone.

Wonder what he did could have been that he instantly junped and had a lucky landing

Fun things are fun. He did something fun.

>now you'll always remember the people who died in the fire whenever you rewatch one of your favorite anime
Fuck this.

I hate saying this but Yamada surviving and Takemoto dying burning and screaming was the final nail in the coffin. KyoAni will never recover with that Shinkai-tier meme director that is Yamada specially now that she will be hailed as a hero and the official KyoAni martyr. Really unfortunate.

actually the force of gravity decreases the higher you are
weight is the force of gravity on an object, but all that being said the weight difference of a human 10m above sea level is almost negligible

Takemoto please dont die on us

this and then infront of it is traintracks and a bunch of scaffolding shit, doesnt look like the otherbuilding in there. probably just bait.

>sets language of google to japanese
again, palpable cringe

Unironically, feet first while lax and try and turn it in to a roll as you land. Based off of how tall the building was, you could easily survive a jump from the third floor, even the roof, with broken legs, possibly a broken hip.

The problem was, they couldn't find the windows to jump out, and even with windows, as shown from debris, a lot of them were blocked off with shelves and desks and shit.

It is.

Kill yourself retard. You have double digit IQ if you compare a hack like Shinkai to Yamada.

Two years ago over 40+ russian children died in a fire in a mall's theatre in Kemerovo because gatekeeper forgot to open the doors for them to escape and evacuated by herself. Firefighters ignored eyewitnesses and sent their teams to check the floor with trapped people when everyone already died. All this time children were sending their cries for help to their relatives through messengers.
God I love Russia.

Both are overrated hacks, user. Both are talented individuals that get praised and hyped for all the wrong reasons. If anyone is comparable to that absolute hack that is Makoto Shinkai, it's Yamada-tan.

And I'm not saying this to dab on you or anything. If Yamada had died, I would be sad. Heck, if Shinkai had died, I would be sad too. But Yamada becoming the de facto creative for KyoAni is a tragedy. Takemoto was an industry heavy hitter too and he didn't receive nearly as much hype as Yamada ever did. She's a meme director, user.

Yea. Just google "хромая лошадь" or "Lame Horse fire" that was more fun.

>Lame Horse fire
But everyone knows that Russia is one of the circles of hell

>it hasnt burned yet in the above 3d view
crying

Streetview photos haven't been updated yet either.

Now imagine you're in a wide, open parking lot with solid concrete under your feet, no cars around, just open space. Suddenly, your risk of of burning to death decreases substantially.

yeah just noticed that when i backed up, also crying.

Attached: enditall.png (1475x496, 1.6M)

oh i see, you can upload ur own shit, and i guess if high level enough in some ranking they get put into maps in some areas like making up for inaccessible by car places.

But what if something akin to the Tunguska event happens all over again.
Fucking Japs should've accounted for that.

The building was adorable, what a damn shame.
