It's pretty good for the most part. I did find the CG in the battle scene in ep 1 and other scenes to be kind of janky. Non-cg backgrounds looked nice though. Voices seemed spot on, aside from Askeladd, whose voice is alright but I'm not quite sold on yet.

Well to be fair Uemura need to follow up his voice with the child Thorfinn’s VA (Ishigami Shizuka) so it’s good that he attended all the recording to get the feel of it.
But we have 3 more eps of child Thorfinn wtf. I thought we will get back to teen Thorfinn in Ep 5 at least. They really padding it out it seems, are they really aiming to end the Prologue arc this season or not?

His hair's not actually spiking up like that, that's just a visual metaphor or theoretical representation of his intensity/anger, you are not supposed to take it at the face value.
