Series like JoJo and OPM essentially have generals in everything but name. Just don't label the threads as generals or link to previous/new threads and they won't get deleted.

i wonder if the demon mark gives you demon aids or something that kills you at the end, the demons are always talking about how they don't get sick or have stronger bodies so maybe that's why upper moon 1 became a demon and why tanjirou's dad became weak even when his kids were healthy, also would explain why the knowledge was lost since it's master would be teaching a death sentence to his pupil

It certainly is well animated but story and characters are cliche. Also, story is really slow and has odd pace. We're like 15 episodes into it and I feel like I am on ep 6. I just dont like seeing a fight scene running 3 episodes.

I don't think there was too much padding (aside from that one episode). They adapted what happened in the manga. It's just that a lot happened before the pillar meeting and unfortunately that's when I think it gets really good.

They should have just gone a little faster at the start and slowed down around spider arc, and finished at train. Although really, its not terrible outside of episode 9 and the godawful 13.
