Where's that?

Japan

Most kid friendly and gate-way anime shounen.

...by being popular? It's not like nardo, bleach, and one piece were actually good in the first place.

Not even close to the level of popularity the og big three had.

Where's HxH?

>How the fuck did the second highest selling manga last year get in

Better question is why is AAAAASSSTA and Burrito there

>Caring for Shonen
why is this place so full of plebs?

Who cares what autistic Japanese (man)children buy?

Isn't Boruto pretty much dead?

Didn't Bort get moved to Jump's side-magazine?

Meanwhile Slime Isekai is in the process of becoming one of the top manga over at kodansha.

in general anime is only made for kids

Anime was made for otaku, if you want realistic roastie shit go to tv.

>Naruto Jr.
>Black Naruto.
>Green Naruto.

Kishimoto, why does Jump allow you to have THREE Big 3s?

>burito
good to know that even fanfiction can get into the big 3

Burrito is flopping so hard It got moved from Shonen Jump to V Jump and is bi-monthly now. BNH, BC and DB are the current trio

Slime in jump is only Black Clover level it nothing compared to TpN,MHA or HQ.

>Burrito is flopping
Maybe the manga, but the anime is one of the biggest hits on Nipponese television for kids.
>It got moved from Shonen Jump to V Jump and is bi-monthly now.
Nothing has changed. The manga is still monthly and has moved to a monthly magazine where it belongs. That's where the DBS manga is also published.

Naruto destroyed anime. It wasn’t a terrible show but it spawned a gallery of copycats that people ate up and now every popular shounen most have a spirited good guy with a mean bully rival but they’re actually friends and faggots. How is gay bullshit like black clover or 7 quirks more popular than quality manga like yakusoku no neverland

neverland is fucking awful beyond the first arc

MHA is quite gray but TPN is clearly more popular than BC in Japan. Tho TPN is clearly a fad in West.

Naruto was so good, it became the peak of Shonen and possibly anime and manga itself, and now the only way to survive is to make clones upon clones until one or more land.

That's why Yea Forums hated it so much. Everyone saw the credits to anime right there and couldn't accept it.

Also TPN is full on garbage after the escape at least MHA is great for 5 arcs and BC is entertaining after chapter 60

Is kishimoto even involved in bort anymore?

I think he's the guy who says "Yes" and "No" to things. Just the approval guy. His heart lies in Samurai 9.

For the current context, they are the big ones. Bleach wasn't as big as YYH and Slam Dunk either, does that mean Bleach wasn't big in his day? No.

its hard for their to be a new big 3 when its One Piece >>>>>>> everything else sales wise

>Official New Big 3
more like new Little 3 when One Piece is just The Big One

>TPN is clearly more popular than BC in Japan.
No, it's not. Only sell more because Ame Talk helped, but in terms of popularity they tie.

OP = 3 million per vol.
Naruto = 1 million per vol.
Bleach = 800k per vol.

OP was always the Big One. Nothing changed.

I find it funny that despite being the most popular and best-selling of the Big 3, OP cannot have half the influence that Naruto had.

At least it’s bringing something new to shounen. Shounen right now is just isekai and naruto rip offs, tpn is a breath of fresh air.

and how many per vol. for the ones in the OP?

>TpN sales 5x of Black Clover
>T-t-thier popularity is the same
I then I guess Black Clover and MHA popularity is also the same huh BCchad?

>new=good
>old=bad
>Chicken Run: the anime
Sure but it's still doesn't make TpN not garbage

The PUSH never stops, huh

MHA = 600/700k
BC = 300/400k ?
Boruto = 300k

But it makes perfect sense compared to today's industry. OP sells more because it started in the 1990s when things were selling more.

Past:
>OP = 3 million per vol.
>Naruto = 1 million per vol.
>Bleach = 800k per vol.
>NANA = 1,5 million per vol.
>Death Note = 1 million per vol.
>FMA = 1 million per vol.

Present
>MHA = 600/700k
>BC = 300/400k ?
>Boruto = 300k
>Haikyuu!! = 600/700k
>OPM = 600/700k
>Kingdom = 800k
>TPN = 500/600k
>Kimetsu = 400k
>Tokyo Ghoul = 700/800k

The only exceptions are titles made over a decade ago.
>SnK = 2 million per vol. (2009)
>HxH = 1,5 million per vol. (1998)

>Only sell more because Ame Talk helped

The MHA spinoff is now better and more entertaining than the original.
Never started Boruto, but I'm not even sure I can comprehend how they're handling it considering the retarded amount of power creep by the end of Naruto.
I read Black Clover for the first couple months of its serialization and it was complete and utter gutter trash despite being the most cookie cutter shounen made in the last 2 decades, is it actually decent now?
I dropped Neverland because of that terribly shit hunting arc, fight me.
I only read Dr. Stone out of habit now, as it's basically become Yakitate Japan, but not funny.
Act Age is still enjoyable, but all these ACTING IN PUBLIC moments destroy my suspension of disbelief.
I want to catch up with bokuben, but something tells me that the plot has barely inched forward in the 6 months I've been ignoring it.

Isn't Boruto dying though? What's the point of pushing it now?

>can't even beat Pre-anime MHA even with over 80+ episode anime+ Jump massive pushing+ cranchishit pushing
>beaten by KnY with only anime help

Beat MHA first before you face TpN BC"""""Chad's"""""

No, because Slime, while having "only" 500k sales per volume (currently it is - but will go up within the next few volumes due to one of they most hype arcs of the series), it got very strong digital sales too.

Mhafags wish they had animation half as good as Based Clover

Naruto had influence because the characters were pretty, sympathetic and had sad backstories which made people connect with them. OP is just a fun kids thing but doesn’t have a serious fandom behind it as the characters are jokes/ one dimension

Attached: jvl4.webm (848x480, 2.26M)

>Haikyuu literally sales more than BC and Boruto combined
>on many occasions, has even sold more than BNHA
>yet is never included in the "Big 3"
Why is this?

>me at level 100 dexterity and intelligence

Sales =/= Fandom appeal.

>Bleach
>Less popular than YYH and Slam Dunk

HAHAHHHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAAHHAHAH EVEN IF YOU WERE TALKING ABOUT JAPAN ONLY YOU WOULD STILL BE WRONG. No seriously where did this mem come from that people gave a shit about YYH. When Jump Force revealed Yusuke people didnt know who he was and was calling his transformation a Raditz rip off.

>how did popular series get big dumb balloons at a weeb convention
Gee I wonder

mate, just because no one wants to watch you shitty dr.cringe scheduled for like what two cours that will fucking drag, or fire trash or kimetsu no Yaiba with screaming retards or that absolute boring virigin cgdct moe shit, doesnt mean they're bad.

Sports manga will never make big 3

>it became the peak of Shonen
Pretty sure that's One Piece, if not Dragon Ball.

>People still believing in a Big 3 at all

I hate how this mentality still exists for over like 15 years now when two of their manga ended and never really reached One Piece's level.

But they did, both Bleach and Naruto were more popular in the West than one piece and even in Japan the amount of merch you see for Naruto was way way way higher, things like video games and spinoffs.

>only moeshit on my Yea Forums
kill yourself.

Where's that?

normies like watching shit that is easy to digest

There isn't much competition

Because 7 quirks sells about as much as the other 2 combined.

>but the anime is one of the biggest hits on Nipponese television for kids.
No its not. Its ratings are shit and its doing worse than OG Naruto which ended years ago,

>OP = 3 million per vol.
This isn't true anymore.

>Bleach = 800k per vol.
And this was never true. Bleach reached its milestone for one year and then instantly fell

They all have the same goofy haircuts.

No Goblin Slayer? I'm dissapointed

To be honest I don't hate it because it's good. I hate it because it got worse and worse after the timeskip and Kishimoto recycled the Naruto and Sasuke dynamic so bad it became the basis of every major historical relationship in his worldbuilding. So the world is always built around some excitable kid and some stoic edgelord?

kek, based emperor doesn't give a fuck.

Fujoscum don't count. They will literally buy a piece of shit if it's shaped like a cute boy.

HIATUS

Haikyuu fanbase is not only composed by fujos, you brainlet. It's an actual good anime/manga unlike boruto or black clover.

>now every popular shounen most have a spirited good guy with a mean bully rival but they’re actually friends and faggots.
Oh no, we now have a slightly more specific flavour of
>main character is morally pure because he's too stupid to have a real thought
>but still the only one to accomplish anything because the rough deuteragonist who actually has a personality is weaker than him
that's existed since, what? Before Dragonball? Kinikkuman, maybe?
