One Piece is better than HxH and MHA

One Piece is better than HxH and MHA

>infinitely better worldbuilding. Both MHA and HxH have next to 0 worldbuilding. You could argue about the Dark Continent in Hxh but its the same thing through out the continent

>Luffy is immensely less autistic than deku and more alpha as well.

>Better plot then both series

>One Piece has no friendship powerups. Friendship powerups are all MHA is and in HxH gon doesn't power up at all cept for that one asspull against neferpitou.

>One Piece is a leftist anarchist manga while MHA promotes fascism, its about a kid who wants to become a cop who engages in vigilantism. HxH promotes ancap ideology.

>One Piece has 0 ass pulls. MHA is a giant asspull in that the one for all is an asspull concept and HxH has: O MY RUBBER NEN, alluka, emperor time, and gon san. The concept of nen is an asspull in itself.

>Haki is an infinitely better concept than nen and whatever the one for all is in MHA. Haki is rather simple and doesnt really allow you to alter reality like nen does and its not an end all magic one shot for the protagonist

>One Piece has a less cancerous fanbase of all of the other shonen series.

most people agree so what is the point of this thread

To trigger hunterfags and MHA newfags

Based

This is a bait. Don't respond to this, fellow hunterchads.

Based and redpilled, though I don't understand how you could even compare absolute trashery that is MHA and HxH with a masterpiece battle shounen like Juan Pisu

Nice try hunterfag

>hxh and MHA are shit
you gonna tell us water is wet next?

Ikr? How can other animes compete with such amazing character design? Just look at how cool he looks!!!

>describing MHA and HxH

ok there op i love one piece probably more than you but dont pretend we dont have asspulls, you gotta remember ODA IS A HACK

Attached: unknown (1).png (925x572, 405K)

Kinemon wasn’t trying to cut Zoro like Asura was trying to cut Jack, it would have been dishonorable, he was only trying to challenge him to a duel.
Kinemon saved Brook from the strongest dragon on the island while Zoro killed a weaker one. Why did Oda even mention that Kinemon’s dragon was stronger than Zoro’s?
Kinemon’s iai is faster than an explosion.
Kinemon’s fire is deadly; Shishio’s sword style on steroids.
Kinemon can endure starvation and long-term exposure to extreme hot and cold and to poisonous cold water, and still scare the shit out of Brook because he is “so strong,” with no head to see and hear and no legs to stand on.
When Kinemon pushed on the birdcage it slowed down when Fujitora pushed on it didn’t. When Zoro pushed on it, it didn’t slow down.
Kinemon is hiding his power level because pirate scum can’t be trusted.
If you say I’m wrong post his ultimate technique. Zoro’s was revealed in less panels of being on the boat.

I don't think hxh is shit but one piece is more entertaining in every way.

Those hiatuschads who bash one piece are zoomers, real hunter fans who were fans of the original hunter anime in 1999, recognise one piece superiority from the fact that at least Oda gives a shit about his fans. In the 00s, the real shonen bromance existed opfans and huntertards vs narufags, bleachfags and fullmetal midget fags.

>Worldbuilding
How? We only get a small part of the actual world itself through Luffy's adventures. It's all random islands scattered across four seas, a current, a windless sea zone, and a continent that takes up about half of the world's landmass that we don't know shit about.

>Less autistic
Luffy is super autist though. He is simpleminded like a child, doesn't give a shit about other people's concerns, is asexual, is aromantic, and focuses solely on restricted instincts (meat, adventure, and pirate king).

>Better plot
Ah, yes. 80% of the series is about Straw Hats coming across a country, city, or island that has been oppressed by an evil antagonist group. The good-natured residents of this place ask the SHs to liberate them from the group, and then they save them.

>No friendship power-ups
Luffy gets friendship powers in every arc that he is in. To save Nami, Luffy beat down Arlong. To save Usopp, he beat down Kuro. To save Sanji, he defeated Krieg and Cracker. To save Rebecca, he defeated Doffy. To save Vivi, he defeated Crocodile. To save Shirahoshi, he defeated Hordy. To save his friends from certain death, he defeated Katakuri. To save Robin, he defeated Lucci. In many of these battles, Luffy was severely disadvantage and got by because of nakama bullshit.

Usopp literally gets a friendship power-up by awakening Kenbunshoku Haki to save Luffy.

>Leftist anarchist manga
No, OP has made it a case that anarchy is also terrible. Pirates that do whatever the fuck they want such as Kaido and Big Mom have nearly destroyed the islands they took over.

>0 asspulls
Luffy went from getting his ass kicked by Lucci to defeating Lucci in less than a day.

The whole time from East Blue to the separation was about 3 months. Luffy went from struggling against a shitty EB pirate like Arlong to defeating two Shichibukai (albeit one with assistance), the prodigy of CP9, a prodigy Birkan with a Logia power (albeit with a type advantage).

Literally the opposite.
Narufags and opfags were friends.
Almost everyone who watched one of the shows as a kid watched the other too.
HxH 1999 ofcours existed but no one gave a fuck about it or considered it to be as the same level as op, Naruto and bleach.
Western HxHtards only existed after hxh 2011.

Ugly art.

>Haki is a better concept than Nen
Nen is a much more thought out and complex system though. Nen is life energy manifested by your cells as well as your overall emotions. Haki is literally just willpower.

Nen is split up into numerous sub-categories that require intensive training to master. Ten (keep life energy circling around you so it doesn't leave body), Zetsu (close off aura nods which makes you more susceptible to nen attacks but you won't be detected by gyo or en), Ren (more aura and power than ten), Hatsu (which itself is an external manifestation of your aura split up into 6 categories). And those are the basic 4. Gyo (Ren focused on a single body part; strengthens that part but other parts are much more vulnerable), In (Zetsu but instead of shutting off all aura, only conceals aura connected to certain body parts or aura-based attacks), En (aura radar by using Ten and Ren together in a certain shape; detects anything within radar), Shu (ten that focuses aura around an object outside of body and enhances it), Ko (combines ten, zetsu, ren, hatsu, and gyo to basically make all of your aura go into a single body part), Ken (ren and ten that forces user to stand still but increases aura output and defensive ability against nen and physical moves), and Ryu (using gyo and ken to modify aura output in battle).

Haki is said to have some limits such as needing to be calm to use Kenbunshoku, and that it can wear down over time and over use such as with Haki-intensive techniques like Gear 4. There are 3 sub-types, and among them numerous sub-sub-types. Kenbunshoku (sensing intent and presence, future sight, ability to sense emotions, hearing voice of all things). Haoushoku (intense will that knocks weaker people out and strengthens your own haki). Busoshoku (invisible armor that protects you from other attacks, can pierce through Logia and weaker Busoshoku, can destroy objects from inside out by manifesting leftover Haki from your fist), etc.

>worldbuilding
True
>less autistic than deku
That's true for literally every character in fiction
Everything else is false and not even good bait

One piece had less fans than bleach and Naruto. So milleniall opfans were more likely to read hunter than casuals.

To circlejerk.

>>One Piece is a leftist anarchist manga while MHA promotes fascism, its about a kid who wants to become a cop who engages in vigilantism. HxH promotes ancap ideology.
how is this a point for OP? Both other options are better

If I wanted to get into One Piece, should I just start reading the manga or watch the anime? And where should I read the manga if so?

Excellent plot, excellent development, excellent characters, of the most complex and best written sagas of the manga/anime

meanwhile in OP they continue to visit pastel islands and walk in the air

Nen is fueled by not just emotions, but also by the existence of limitations (making an aura ability only work under certain conditions), vows (the user upholding limitations and suffering severe negative side-effects such as death by breaking those limitations), and conditions (making certain hatsu stronger by only making it work in certain instances or on certain targets. Unlike limitations, conditions are an inherent aspect of a nen ability so they can't be violated.). There are also the 6 nen categories: enhancement, transmutation, conjuration, emission, manipulation, and specialization. Each nen user only has 1 category, unless some profound and rare instance allows them to change category (even then they only have 1; Kurapika can change from Conjuration to Specialization when his eyes are red, but he can't be both at once). Nen users have 100% proficency in their category, 80% in the two adjacent ones, 60% in the further two adjacents, and 40% in their opposing categories. (Specialization can't be used by non-specialists so it is always 0% compatibility for emission, transmutation, and enhancement. Manipulation and conjuration has 1% compatibility.) Nen users are also bound to a limited amount of nen experience, so they can't master every category. (Kastro, an enhancer, gimped himself by relying on conjuration and manipulation by cloning himself when his enhanced, transmuted, and emitted attacks were much stronger.)

Haki only restricts users by stating that only one in a million people can use Haoushoku, and everybody can use the other 2 categories provided that they awaken it (usually in life-or-death scenarios or battles that require one to display an exceptional amount of willpower).

So yeah, haki is just child's play compared to nen.

>Less cancerous fanbase
Both fanbases are bad but OP fans have such a superiority complex because OP is super popular. They think Oda is some sort of genius writer when he repeats the save a country story.

>One Piece has no friendship powerups
what about the time Ussop started taunting Lucci to make Lucci want to kill him to force Luffy to keep on fighting and beat him?

Sure, when it's not on hiatus
