So he’s claiming he started the fire because they stole the idea for Munto from him.
If they did, did they deserve it? Intellectual property theft is worse than murder imo
So he’s claiming he started the fire because they stole the idea for Munto from him.
If they did, did they deserve it? Intellectual property theft is worse than murder imo
*fire starter starts playing*
How exactly is intellectual property theft worse than murder?
Is he the most hated person in Japan now?
He’s basically the Batman of Japan.
He was mad for that pile of garbage?
Go back illegal immigrant
>>Yea Forumsntainment
Munto is fucking ancient and wasn't even popular. How old is this maggot?
What's a munto?
Not all terrorists wear capes.
The story isn't particularly original, anyway
41 and it came out in 2003 so he would have been 25, so he would have been younger than that when they somehow stole the ideas from his head via microwaves or whatever
Also nice source OP you giant fag with an anus shaped like a tesseract that can take dicks from 2d12 directions at once
Because they took his product and sold it, claiming it was theirs. They made money off it and denied him the future he deserved, altering his life in a way that can’t be repaired, because of their selfishness. What he did could be classified as self defence.
He burned only a few moeshitters and basic personnel. You have to remember that he is a fellow NEET.
putting a cordless drill to the side of your head would be self defense from the perspective of our collective sanity
Yes but only because he didn't burn down shounen studios that produce mindless garbage like DBZ and one piss
If his product was so good why didn't he make another good product? Also is there no legal system in Japan? When did they turn into China?
One hit wonders are faggots.
Damn, he killed them for something done 16 years ago?
How could he when they stole his work, it would fuck him up for life. You have to assume what the damage would be from such a selfish act.
T. IP theif
The hate only built as they got more successful.
>no source
Seriously had to google Munto and I thought I had watched everything from Kyoani.
Is this another rumor like the 'train otaku' one?
not a week and people alredy forgot rhis shit
>Being this retarded
Fuck off tourist.
How's it forgotten?
>trying to kill 70+ people
>for fucking MUNTO of all things
The train autism makes more sense
Munto?
>Intellectual property theft
Is physically impossible. Information can be read, copied and sort of deleted(one needs a black hole for that one, but we can assume that information is destroyed if one turned paper into dust or something).
OP stole my idea to make this thread, how are we gonna find and kill him?
Yes he picked the wrong studio to murder.
If he attacked kusokawa or that studio that made kemono, he would be rightly hailed as a hero. His mistake was attacking a studio that is considered an underdog based outside of tokyo and beloved by moebutas.
Please, boring ass isekai and battle harems are fucking shit in concept and yet they still sell well, he's clearly butthurt he never profited from his work
Self defense is only an act that is at least aimed at stopping an on-going attack on you.
Burning down the studio however does not stop them from making more money with their stolen intellectual property.
>all this misinformation in a single thread
That picture isn't him and the Munto thing is just a shitpost, I swear this place handles the whole incident like if it were a third rate tabloid
"Intellectual property" law is one of the most retarded and fundamentally unfair legal concepts of them all.
Should have sent a McNuke to make up for the stolen intellectual property.
>source: dude, trust me lmao
Intellectual property rights are just a scam invented by kikes. No one should own ideas.
>Intellectual property theft is worse than murder imo
>worse than murder
it's not about what's worse, you don't get a free arson pass for being a victim of anything
Source: your ass
You’re retarded aren’t you, user?
Twist: they actually did steal his idea.
>Intellectual property theft is worse than murder imo
Even if this were true, which it isn't, would it be worse than 34 murders, and insane propriety damage?
It was retroactive self defence. If Sony decides to burn down the headquarter of The Pirate Bay I would think that would count too
Either bait or actual autism.
could you imagine if he was Korean or Chinese?
Communist faggot
found the bugman bros
These are the kinds of people who bitch about morality in anime I bet.
>You shouldn’t be able to own what you create
T. Someone who will never create anything
fucking retard
>one needs a black hole for that one
information isn't destroyed in a black hole
They stole his shit and made money off it. That is the worst crime a person can commit.
>191051207
Not getting another (You) from me, faggot.
wth is munto lol
BAIT ALERT!!!!
Why are you retards unironically responding and feeding a bait thread? Do you see a source to any of the OP's claim, do you see an article linked? No? That's because it's made up.
>Killing an entire studio over an almost 20 year old OVA
lmao
The proper term is an infringement. The government states that an author has the right to decide who can read, copy and delete info and who can't.
Information cannot be stolen. It's a physical impossibility.
People who claim that it's possible are either stupid, insane or trolling.
No constructive discussion can be built on top of insanity.
Holographic principle? Even if it's true, it's still a bitch to retrieve.
>responding and feeding
Formerly ignoring and saging
Do you genuinely think someone should be able to steal someone else’s idea and sell it as their own you fucking communist?
>ideas cannot be stolen
You’re not serious
I strongly disagree. Fuck artists and their IP, get a real job faggots.
as opposed to killing and injuring people who may or may not have the decision or knowledge that some autist's work was stolen?
If people didn't use each others ideas we would still be living in the stone age.
But Munto was released in 2003, he waited all this time to act? More likely he's a loony
KyoAni should have taken that advice then
They have to free him. Moe isn't fully dead yet. He has a job to finish.
FREE ARSON-KUN
>another bait thread with no source
>did they deserve it?
are you retarded? even if it was true most people who died were young animators who had nothing to do with decision making.
Source: your ass - I presume? How could kyoani even steal his idea back in 2003? They weren't publishing novels at that time or accepting any story/screenplay submissions. In fact, Munto was the first ever anime produced by Kyoani. Before that they only worked on projects outsourced to them by other studios, so the idea that someone would go to animation outsourcing studio with their anime/novel idea is pretty damn ridiculous. The only two original anime Kyoani ever made were Munto and Tamako Market. Munto was Kigami's creation and Tamako was made by Yamada, Yoshida and Horiguchi. There's nothing this faggot could have come up with that has anything to do with kyoani, but that doesn't stop you psychotic kyoani haters from slandering them.
Yes, they can't. They can be copied and used without permission, though.
This is what copyright infringement is all about.
Reminder this isn't bait or ironic shitposting, these are actually deranged, schizophrenic people posting seriously but are mistaken for shitposters due to how ridiculous they are. Kyoani is a magnet for them for some reason.
It's bait, I want the guy to get the death penalty but the other day I made a bait post wanting him to be rehabilitated and got lots and lots of (You)s.
I don't really believe in intellectual property.
Based
They became complicit in KyoAnis theft of a mans life when they signed the contract. Just like the civilians in Dresden, maybe they didn’t deserve it but it was an acceptabtloss
t. brainlet
I wonder if he was expecting to become the most prolific mass murderer in modern nippon history.
>ova from 15 years ago that no one ever heard of
wow, truly he must be a master writer if they stole that from him
>Munto was the first ever anime produced by Kyoani
Hmmm curious and lends a lot of credence to the idea they stole it from him
Do you believe the benefits and rewards of claiming to have been the first person to come up with an idea can be stolen?
Delusions of grandeur and of Schizo
>Munto
KyoAni lost money with that shit, they didn't even recoup the inverted money.
Also, how come before the incident nobody in the industry knew him? You'd think that someone who aspires to be an author would've been known in the industry, even if only as a failed author. And the only thing people knows about him is that he was a thief and not even a good one at his deed.
Depends on benefits and rewards. If it's money - yes, if you managed to coerce someone into giving you a blowjob - not so much, unless you know the way to unfuck people. But you probaby didn't ask about that.
The case goes like this: someone secretly copies some valuable restricted info, then claims that he is an inventor, and then claims all rewards which are associated with it, right?
Well, here we have a copyright infringement followed by the fraud. This combination can easily put someone into jail, but no stealing is involved.
They stole his idea and that probably disillusioned him from writing any more.
>Reiwa Era supposed to be an era of peace not violence.
What did Japan mean by this.
what the fuck does this really have to do with anime?
You know? Before smartphones implemented fingerprint readers I used to think about ideas on how to do that.
Also I had ideas of how to implement cameras so whenever someone called you it'd display a hologram of the person calling you.
And I still think of other futurist shit that would be cool to make reality, but it's nothing more than ideas.
I haven't killed anyone.
He stole the credit for the idea
There’s a huge difference between thinking of a general idea and creating a story
No, he hasn't. He deceived other people(mostly the government which upholds the copyright law) by claiming that he invented something hoping to get something valuable.
It's called a fraud. In this case - preceded by copyright infringement.
Fraud is a serious crime, but nothing was stolen since it's physically impossible to steal information.
Maybe this person has stolen the information carrier, but that's another matter altogether. For example, if I steal the disk with the valuable data but never read its contents, I'm a thief, but I never infringed the copyright. If I installed backdoor in the server and copied confidential data, I've most likely infringed the copyright, but I'm not a thief.
Information is an abstract concept and it's physically impossible to steal it.
Unfortunately, a lot of people have trouble separating information and an information carrier.
This loser again? He should be happy, now everyone knows about his existence, it won't be even 5 years before we see a story where someone repeats his actions and goes on to the story of anime/manga/LN as a synonym for resentful, envious loser and monster without soul.
I hope he gets rehabilitated and can live a normal life and write his novel in a lodge in the woods.
I know you are baiting but kill yourself regardless
Well at least people will remember Munto now. Its like the kyoani black sheep and no one includes it I'm any cross promotion art.
If it was Munto they didn't make shit
Literally the absolute worst selling anime kyoani's ever been involved with
what a fucking loser
Which is why someone already brought up the term "Bloody Reiwa (血の令和)" on the 3rd day after the transition.
kill yourself
cope
>Akuto, the main source of energy is running low and the Heavens, a world of islands, hidden beyond time, floating above ours, has united against the Magical Kingdom whom uses the most energy. To save both the Magical Kingdom and the Heavens and restore the flow of akuto, the Magical King Munto must follow a vision and find the girl Yumemi in the lower world. Yumemi herself is just a normal girl except that she is the only one who can see the islands of the Heavens floating above. When Munto appears before her she starts thinking about hers and others responsibility to the world.
It's the most basic shit ever written, is it even possible to call some this cliche stolen?
>Uhh uhh a boy meets a girl but like the girl is magic and uhh now the boy has to save the world but he can't until he BELIEVES
YOU STOOOOOOOOOOOOLE
Honestly I wish it was the train autism reason, because that way this could be attributed to insanity instead of fucking stupidity of all things.
>Munto is a two-episode original video animation (OVA) project by Kyoto Animation, first released in 2003 titled Munto followed by a 2005 sequel Munto: Beyond
What.
Hope you and your family get the same treatment.
First day on Yea Forums?
You are probably baiting but, if you ever work at any creative field you'll see that ideas are worthless, all that matters is the execution and work put into them. Also you can't steal information, he still has the idea right? Then how did they stole it?
copyright is a government endorsed monopoly and shouldn't exist, at least not for a gorillion years like companies have pushed to.
It's okay user, even if that retard doesn't respond, your point is interesting to me.
To anyone who actually agrees wit this bait: no, committing one of the worst crimes in contemporary Japanese history is not self defense
For starters, we'll spend the next 16 years or so thinking about it.
What would you watch, read or play if every artist got a real job?
My god, people here don't even know what happened and makes this 100+ reply thread.
KyoAni stole nothing. See "Barisaku" you fucking stupid newfags
Based.
And.
Red pilled.
>people died for fucking Munto
Oh fuck
Eat a gun.
Companies? All blame lies on Disney.
or he was just a dick
twitter.com
>Munto
But that's shit though and it made no money, like out of all the shit he could've been mad about.
Otakushits are retarded yikes.
You think it's funny and shit?
Put yourslf on fire.
>implying you can literally own ideas and treat it like physical property
wait so was the arson because of munto or barisaku i'm confused?
I guess I should go and burn all the vidia studios that realized ideas I had in my head but never turned them into something real.
Munto is all the wait back in 2003 why'd he wait so long?
Fucking Munto? Really? It's their most forgotten about work anyways.
Disney started it, but it's not like anyone big has done anything to change it.
It's been just days, people.
The truth is: WE DON'T KNOW THE FULL DETAILS OF THE ARSONIST'S MOTIVES EXCEPT KYOANI (allegedly) STOLE "HIS IDEA".And that's only because that what he blabbered to the police before passing out from his injures.
Barisaku/ Train Autist and now Munto are just assumptions we've been discussing since the day of the fire.
We still don't know.
That said, when he wakes up, I hope they never tell him he "won", that everyone is alive and that they'll keep making money out of "his creation" after they put him in solitary confinement.
guys GUYS , maybe the voices told him to do it
What the fuck?
>no source
Did people really fall for this bait?
the hero we deserve, but not the one we need right now
Look at him, a fate worse than death. He did nothing wrong.
>some decrepit old shit held up a sign saying Reiwa, this means no bad things must happen again, ever
Holy fuck, japs
Based. Kyoanus drones absolutely seething.
>They made money
>off Munto
Not fucking likely
Never reproduce
is he going to become a guest-speaker and author?
en.wikipedia.org
Justified IMO. They turned him into a weirdo neet incel
Correct. When Kyoani stole his idea they violated the NAP and thus should be held responsible for everything that transpired from that action.
Didn't Munto aired like almost 20 years ago? He's just delusional, probably waking up one day thinking he owns something someone did
SOURCE OR FUCK OFF
REMINDER arsonist is in a coma, we can't get new info.
REAL NEWS IS OP IS A FAGGOT.
Japan will use the best medical science available to bring him back to life, tear him down in court, and then kill him.
Ok but is it 34 times worse than murder
Get a lobotomy asap
This wouldn't have happened in America
Shit that is a violation of the NAP. They can’t really complain.
These are the kind of people who defend intellectual property.
KyoAni gave Munto like 5 chances. It had 2 OVAs, then 9 episodes, then a movie, and a manga. None of these were successes.
Your whole point fails the moment your realize he's FIFTEEN FUCKING YEARS LATE. He got his "revenge" on the wrong people.
i think i remember you faggot
>they stole the idea for Munto from him
And he wait 20 years? jesus christ
he's gonna "die", and we are never going to know the truth, right?
Thanks. This thread is boring, have something nice.
So there are retards in this thread that believe a claim by a schizo without any evidence?
Yea Forums is fucking cesspool full of some of the worst degenerates on the planet. Misinformation is very often intentionally spread here about Kyoani, it's truly sad but this isn't even new.
>they continued to steal his IP why did he retaliate
This thread is a real brain trust, huh?
No, there are retards in this thread who think it's funny to le ebin troll KyoAniggers.
>Intellectual property theft is worse than murder imo
says a guy who streams and pirates anime and posts/downloads pictures that are copyright material and should not be redistributed away from their source, downloads mp3s/flacs/etc of music from said series without prior purchase, and also is fat
/thread
Fuck that psycho.
I actually liked munto. Good thing this thread is some shit OP pulled out of his ass otherwise I might feel annoyed.
yes
>we are never going to know the truth
You can. He is still alive. Just fly to Japan, break into the hospital housing him and interrogate him to see who is the real culprit.
Same, OVA looked gorgeous and is underrated.
he's gonna "die"
Either this fucker will be hanged or someoe else will kill him eventually. I'm hoping he gets life for now so someone can kidnap and torture him.
S E E T H I N G
He won torture or not
He already won LOL. Keep seething about revenge sasuke-kun
>no source
Nice try, shitposter.
Psychos don't have rights. It's like stealing from an animal. Sure, it's weird, but absolutely acceptable.
Have we started the fire?
This guy?
Animators should be allowed to open carry.
Hi r/anime
are we going to just keep reposting gossip as fact?
So how long do we need to wait before the rope happen?
based.
This and the OP are such blatant baits it's ridiculous. Shame on you, Yea Forums, for giving him attention.
I wonder if this will change something in how the industry works, I mean, stealing ideas from LN contests is basically the norm on animation studios, without stealing ideas we won't get even half of the content we do each season for anime.
Any violation of the NAP deserves retribution. If the Japanese government don’t immediately pardon him and force KyoAni to give him ALL the money his IP made it is an absolute tragedy.
just look at jap artists when they see someone repost their art on other sites
or how they respond to people translating LNs
This isn't gossip, he literally claimed that they stole his novel according to multiple eyewitnesses.
Stealing an "idea" means nothing. If someone steals your idea for a story, their interpretation and take on it will be vastly different from yours. Having a good idea is meaningless; it's your execution of it that counts. The bottom line is, he's a deranged maniac, and this was enough to set him off.
An idea is worthless with out labor behind it.
Is he really the Kyoani arsonist? I thought he was being treated due to burns
>denied him the future he deserved
Killing one person denies an entire family and their friends the future they deserve with that person.
KyoAni violated the NAP and any actions stemming from that are solely their responsibility. They thought they could steal his novel and face no consequences. They were wrong.
based troll
Killing one person kills an infinite amount of descendants that person and their descendants could've had
There's only 10 daily threads about the subject.
i like how people hate otakus cus of all this
he is just mentally ill criminal loser who think they stole his novel
what the fuck that have to do with otakus???
You're an asshole.
this better be bait
>cesspool
You still believe that he wrote munto?
Munto is so generic. how can you claim it as an idea can be stolen?
Then post proofs you fucking shithead
the only original anime kyoani has ever done
which is why they take other peoples work and ruin them instead
I listened to that while not reading the thread.
That's not proof
Then what is proof?
not that
Can you post proof the arson attack even happened?
is this anime any good ?
It's isekai so that's a no.
He can claim whatever but it's not even that important script if he claims that. Also did we already figured which work is that?
Retard, I'm not saying KyoAni actually plagiarized his work. I'm saying the culprit claims that they did, because that's what he claimed.
Isekai is my favorite genre because I await a day in a decade or 2 when games can be like Isekais like SOA or Yggdrasil (minus the pay2win stuff but you get what im saying)
It'll take more than a decade or two. We'll likely be old geriatric men that can't play anymore.
>Munto
ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME
I see your point but look at games 20 or even 10 years ago and look at them now, technology gets faster as it develops and VR has consistently seen a 70% growth in its market share consecutively for 4 years straight. We are getting closer user and since im still young I hope ill see it. Hell if they take too long I plan to go into a tech field to help advance the work
No, having your idea stolen is not grounds to go around burning down buildings and killing people who are just working.
Did the asshat even talk to anyone about it? Or did he just become delusional and pent up all by himself until he popped?
He claims that because he's mentally ill and he's not even capable understanding what has he done. Nothing will help him.
Sure.
Agreed.
Piracy and Infringement is worse than Murder or Rape.
sure sarcastically? sure
No, I don't have any objections to that post.
Yeah right
How has this thread 200 replies? Is Yea Forums really this retarded? Jesus Fucking Christ.
What the fuck is your point? You admitted he claims it, which means you agree with me.
if only it were that easy
or can I try the surgery on your brain?
Not really
Have you not seen Japan charge an illegal manga site owner billions for "intellectual property damage?"
Daily reminder that there is literally nothing wrong with stealing intellectual property, at all, ever.
If you're not a content creator, probably not in your PoV.
Shinji Aoba,41
I never said it was easy but neither was all the other advancements we have made. Its going to happen simply because humans want it to happen so we have a drive to push for it.
and yes, I would allow a experimental surgery on myself to test it presuming I had a decent chance to come out unscathed if the surgeons knew what they were doing
America isn't capable of producing media worth firebombing a studio over when they steal your idea.
>Also nice source OP you giant fag with an anus shaped like a tesseract that can take dicks from 2d12 directions at once
Nice.
The criminal told police that KyoAni stole his novel idea.
However in fact, this man has never written a novel etc.
KyoAni also says that this guy hasn't posted any ideas.
In Japan, his remarks are considered to be fake work to lighten sins.
The Japanese have various suspicions about the case where Kyo-ani was burned off.
The center of suspicion is NHK.
So it is more of the "novel" is in Fat Fuck's head.
So the guy wanted to actually kill and burn the NHK crew that wasn't there yet, and he accidentally burned and killed a bunch of neo-burakkumin otaku animators at KyoAni?
Hilarious.
Probably, yeah. At least by younger people.
>stolen something that isn't physical
Kek
Meh, they'll just forget about him when Abe-sama drafts them all for a war against based China.
>munto
good one op
If he was the origin for Munto he should have set himself on fire instead.
if anything he is the victim
He didn't claim that, he's in a fucking coma. What's wrong with you? Are you this obsessed, you've been tweaking your bullshit?
They better kill that fucking piece of shit slow and painfully. It does't deserve to live.
he's in a coma
welcome to Yea Forums
>he didn't start the fire
>it was always burning since the world's been turning
You can't "steal" an idea. Whoever manages to make something out of said idea is the owner of it. Any idiot can have ideas but it takes some dedication to make it into a real thing
I hope the police hurry up and fix the arson's computer that he supposedly destroyed.
That way, the police will know what sites he was browsing before the attack and if he had any people.
>Intellectual theft is worse than murder in my opinion
If that's the case then Thomas Edison is worse than your typical Chicongo nigger. This is how I know you're full of shit.
Quit advertising your shit channel
BASED
It doesn't matter what he deserves, what matters is that he is a resource and killing him is a waste of resources. Having him do community service is a better idea.
Innocent until proven guilty. This goes both for Aoba and Kyoani. Who knows? Perhaps, they'll both go to Japanese prison but for different crimes.
Sure do love how mods let garbage threads like this stay up.
Ah nothing like some good old life of slavery over death. Honestly I've heard every manner of argument about the death penalty and prisoner reform etc. I don't agree with that user but some people definitely wont contribute/have value simply by how demented they are.
This dude looks like he's from Perfect Blue
Even if IP theft is worse than murder, how much murder? Could there be a point where he's killed too many so that it's worse than IP theft?
Well, there's got to be something he is able to do that contributes positively to society. Apparently he wasn't doing anything useful at the moment, but that's most likely because he didn't want to do anything or because he couldn't find a suitable job, not because he wasn't capable. If the government finds him a job (especially one that he doesn't get paid for) and forces him to do it, that fixes those problems. Where I live, only short prison sentences can be converted into community service but it's always voluntary and a lot of people choose it when they can, so I imagine people would also be pretty happy about converting a death sentence to community service.
Wait, the whole thing is now about Munto? That they did (somehow) use an idea of his? Is there legal evidence that he sued (or at least made offical documented complaints), the case dismissed etc, something that would point the finger at him just being some asshole writer that never got their dues? Or just a nutter that only now thought someone stole from him over a decade ago and wants revenge.
>munto
I wish I could forget.
>So the guy wanted to actually kill and burn the NHK crew that wasn't there yet, and he accidentally burned and killed a bunch of neo-burakkumin otaku animators at KyoAni?
>Hilarious.
The NHK news team was late for visiting Kyo-Ani.
The NHK news team first filmed the moment the criminal was arrested in the media.
An NHK spokesman proudly put the name of the news team who shot this on the news site, but immediately deleted the Team name.
For NHK, chances that are too good for convenience overlapped.
Louis Broom lives even in Japan.
No, it's all just rumors. It's true he's claiming he was plagiarized, but the part about it being Munto is alternative facts.
Kyoani news threads have turned to complete shit since people keep spamming the same canned responses (I feel so bad, fuck the guy who burned them alive, etc.).
The first couple of days were interesting since we were learning new things, but now, at least half of every thread is just the same shit.
Just read the first post and move on.
So people get a free pass for this shit, basically?
No, they get prison sentences or community service. I think for murder you always get a long enough prison sentence that it can't be converted, but that's stupid because it's another waste of resources.
Astute observation.
It's fine for people who are alive. Where it falls apart is children and grandchildren claiming ownership. Unless you were actively working on it you don't get shit and it should go into the public domain upon the creator's death.
You literally do own what you create, without any IP involved, including the idea. The fundamental problem is that, as Thomas Jefferson put it, an idea is an incredibly easily reproduced good that if you make it known everyone else will get a copy of virtually for free. Some of the founding fathers decided to arbitrarily use monopolies to "fix" this, and now you have a collapse in meritocracy, monopoly-defined economy, and a massive wealth gap that socialists use as ammunition for dismantling civilization while third world hellholes rapidly catch up in technology by- you guessed it- stealing IP. Have fucking fun retard.
There's no such thing as IP in a free market. The only person that decided to invest labor into literally the most easily reproduced thing in existence is yourself, and that entitles you to no handout.
>t. chink.
No one would ever steal the idea for munto. That would involve pretending it was your work rather than distancing yourself from any part of it as quickly as possible. That this dude claims he came up with it means he is gunning for an insanity defense.
>Intellectual property theft is worse than murder imo
Only on Yea Forums.
>chinks
>arguing with westerners about IP
>not laughing all the way to their canadian mansion while western wageslaves continue playing by a rule that doesn't exist in the real world
>thinking something is property because it has property in the legal name
When did gullible fucking boomers who literally interpret legislation based on the name show up on Yea Forums?
>well golly gee it's the rescue puppies and children act user don't you want to rescue puppies and children?
I vote to block this legislation on the grounds that it doesn't go far enough and also rescue kittens.
Munto is probably one of the few original anime that Kyoani did. If it's not Munto, then the man is clearly delusional and crazy since Kyoani does not have any record of him submitting any work.
Pretty much western politics in a nutshell. The legislative branch has turned into a battle for who can virtue signal their way into the most votes while still winning their bribe money.
>the accused didn't have any record of plagiarizing the guy they plagiarized
Not saying it happened but I hope you can see the issue with this line of thinking.
The arsonist had criminal record, leeched off neet bux for buying games rather than paying rent, and being the obnoxious asshole in the neighborhood. No matter how NHK trying to making him human by showing pictures of his childhood days, this bastard is certainly mental and deserve nothing but painful death.
I don't get why you moralfags have such a hard time coming to terms with a person both being human and better off dead.
>actually had records of his submission
>all destroyed by the fire and now can't prove anything
he played himself
This a million times
It's about humanizing a criminal that already lost their restraint. Yes he is human, since he was born and still even after he died. But that's not the point you know? Humanizing is to make something less unpleasant, but it will only tick people off in this case.
Information is information, why would you ever disparage someone for choosing to use their own platform to speak the truth? Why should I give a shit about someone who gets their feelings hurt by free speech? The "abloo bloo bloo these 30 people out of the 150,000 that died today really matter" bit is overdone and has nothing to teach at this point, you can't blame anyone for being disinterested.
>Intellectual property theft is worse than murder imo
are you baiting or are you (((being serious)))?
>Intellectual property theft is worse than murder imo
I thought the founding fathers were all long dead.
>So he’s claiming he started the fire because they stole the idea for Munto from him.
Eh, I liked the Train story more.
Jefferson hated IP.
Yeah and?
The rest made the concept into law.
Lets just say this is true, they really did steal it, he killed so many people because of that pile of shit? Fucking Munto? Really? He should be thanking them for not crediting him.
How can you own an idea?
I wonder how much of it was naivete and how much of it was malice. The concept's warped the entire western economy beyond repair.
>Guy kills multiple disabled people in japan
no donation sticky
>huge corporation gets burned down and people die
OMG DONATE TO THE BIG CORPORATION
ik there both equally bad but honestly the disabled people probably needed the money more
It's the product of your labor, you created it from your thinking process and nobody else has access to it. The problem is when people think they can reveal that idea to others, thus triggering them creating their own copy of the idea, and tell them they can't use it. It's like posting a picture on the internet and getting mad when it circulates everywhere.
Who was the Mima in this situation?
The difference is simple, the disabled people didn't make popular entertainment.
Who could have come with the idea of "owning concepts?"
Surely this is WYPIPO's fault.
Disabled people are popular entertainment.
sounds like you're just not being creative enough
Why is /pol/ always right?
Based and GNU/pilled
not even true, because it was an adaptation of a fucking manga.
>munto
that's funny, that fire!
But how can you expect somebody to not a have the exact same idea or at the very least a very similar one?
I guess it's too subtle, but my point was actually more on the line that NHK, one of the party that indirectly responsible for the death toll being that high, actually aired news that may felt offensive to the survivors when other TVs didn't. Yes, people died everyday, but people are biased, I get your point though.
Reminder arsonist is in a coma.
Reminder police raided his home and discovered his PC was destroyed.
We will know if he is an otaku or not, after the police recover his personal computer and see what log-ins he used on various sites.
You're not really getting the whole paying authors for their work to adapt them into anime part that Kyoani does, are you? Why would they steal someone's work, then announce and pay money to a completely different person for rights to the stolen work? There's so many unnecessary steps to plagarize his work that it would be far simpler to just pay him instead.
>huge corporation
You must not be talking about Kyoani then?
the great otaku purge of 2020 is starting soon
why did the bolice destroy his pc?
user, be honest. Which publishing house are you targeting?
Kill a man, and you might have to pay 10k to his family.
Share manga with others for free, and you will be required to pay 100 millions
Since the local authority didn;t help, was this a government funded attack? DID kyoani get too close to something?
They deserved it. Also who the fuck ACTUALLY cares that KyoAni is gone? We can all stop virtue posting, thanks.
What if it didn't make any money or even lost money? Would he owe them then?
Well they probably weren't helping with Japan's birthrate...
300 now reddit, sorry
Collateral damage, it’s sad but the point is KyoAni started this when they stole his novel. Any loss of life falls squarely on them, what he did could be classified as self defence.
Anons making up conspiracies, pretend to be experts, or just being edgy trolls, is expected on Yea Forums.
I just have one question: why was the sticky removed? Did the mods not expect anons to keep making stupid threads like this? Why are these obvious troll threads allowed?
all of them
The thin line is going to break, and it will hit the society hard. Very hard.
>I just have one question: why was the sticky removed? Did the mods not expect anons to keep making stupid threads like this? Why are these obvious troll threads allowed?
That’s three questions. This is one question.
Why are you not on reddit?
SEETHING
Hes hot.
このニガーは分裂症が罹る。
>imagine seething about other people thinking of the same idea
>now imagine killing people for it
lol
How is stealing an idea worse than murder? Sure, it's morally wrong but it's not as evil as taking another life.
Because OP believed saying the obviously wrong thing makes him an edgy rebel.
This is a bait thread.
It doesn't sound so edgy in hebrew, tho...
Based
Doesn't get any more alpha than this. Real men protect their ideas
It's not, although taking the idea that could have been the start of someone's creative career can have much bigger ramifications than is otherwise obvious. Stolen opportunity can be the difference between living as a millionaire and dying homeless, it's not easy to quantify as something petty like shoplifting a grocery store (which has enormous legal penalties). Considering the tendency for artistry to be associated with neuroses and financial struggle, I can't say stealing from them is something I'd do lightly. Hitler aspired to be an artist as well.
If that were true things wouldn't be so generic
Edison was, though. Your "typical Chicago nigger"'s sins are selling shit from the trunk of his car from some surplus warehouse that went unchecked. Edison stole and took credit for a butt-load of properties that he bankrolled but ultimately had no hand in engineering. It's like people praising Jobs and forgetting that he was just the marketing man compared to his team. You know? Woz and the rest. Fuck off.
>Intellectual property theft is worse than murder imo
Get thinner. Sage.
So, what's his name again?
It could be cryptomnesia.
The guy saw some Kyoani work, forgot all about it, then it resurfaced as his own "original idea," then he noticed the work again, assumed Kyoani copied him and went to burn them.
barisaku
Munto
That, or he had a vague idea for a novel that he did nothing with and someone else independently came up with something vaguely like it. Either way, I don't believe for a minute that KyoAni actually stole anything here.
>Did over 30 people deserve to get horrifically burned alive?
>Did 30 useless worms deserve to be purged
Yes
Ayo hol up, kyoanus didn't made kf? shite I've been cheering for the wrong jap.
That's low effort, even for you
what's with the person continually posting things trying to lessen the atrocities he committed and heighten the focus on IP theft/stealing? it's been going on since his name was released. is this how you influence the popular opinion about piracy? by taking advantage of a mass murder? you shills are fucking disgusting. I'm going to pirate 10 each of anime, movies, video games, and albums just to spite you.
Enjoy paying billions in damage and lost income like that manga site guy
That's what happens if you seed though. And if you don't seed you're just wasting hd space like a tool.
I can smell tons of lawsuits coming the outcome of this is not going to be very pretty at all. Someone has to be the fallguy(s) to satisfy and closure for everyone it won't be arsonist-kun.
REAL PHOTO OF THE SUSPECT from a security camera near the studio.
Stop posting this bullshit.
Literally this, Kyocrap is the most overrated studio of all time only making moeshit (that isn't even decent) and filler anime with half-baked scenarios. 2bh I always wished for this studio to close down, but not in such horrifying manner.
what manga site guy
also i run an anime site, i just use offshore hosting, but safest of all, i only hotlink shit. of course as all of us know in the business, we upload shit to these hosts in the first place or have our staff do it, so we are the ones stealing the shows, but technically its the hosts fault legally, not the site hosting a link to it with embedded player.
and yes, kyoto ani shows have had huge popularity suddenly on our site, we dont use disquis for our comments so we actually have a db we can view and its alot of prayfor kyoani etc.
What would be a good enough reason to justify his action?
Dude's wearing a gakuran in that picture, it's obviously old as hell, from when he was a student. >20 years old picture.
The ones you're calling bullshit are how he looks today.
This
They should give this guy a medal for saving anime instead
I mean is the real picture. OP pic is a different guy.
>Negative IQ
Her name was Megumi Ohno
This.
>he thinks they are showing pictures of him to humanize him and not to stigmatize everyone who has ever came closer than 5 meters to him
