Dragon Ball was funnier in a comedic sense but it was never as dramatic and bloody as Saint Seiya.
They were pretty much the same action wise but Saint Seiya at least had people conversing and reminiscing while Dragon Ball only had guys power charging and leveling up for entire episodes.
Also the first season of Saint Seiya has an incredibly good soundtrack while Dragon Ball's was just better than mediocre.

I liked Saint Seiya too, but almost every battle from 12 temples and forward is about who have the flashiest attack. The sequences with the bronze saints taking a beat have special treatment because the gold saints were fucking sadists.

I read the manga and realize how superior it is to any adaptation so far. This was my last hope of a semi-decent adaptation, but no.

Galaxian Wars was fucking lame it was supposed to be a super event so the sanctuary KNEW Athena was alive, it was all to call their attention. The fights sucked.

Military guy is boring, black saints fucking SUCKED and the Ikki fight was dogshit, him making Hyoga see his mother all deformed was cool as fuck in the original and in the end when Seiya defeats him they make it clear that even with the help of all the others Seiya only managed to win because Ikki's arm was frozen by Hyoga.

Shiryu going to meet Mu and draining all of his blood to revive the cloths was the coolest shit ever too, showed his loyalty and personality like no other scene can.

You only think so because you don't understand that high framerate is a trap and a waste of money. Fluidity can and should be achieved with low framerates whenever possible. If Tex Avery could achieve fluid animation with 8fps I don't see why any animator should bother with animating stuff in 60 fps. It's a waste of effort and money, might as well just use motion capture instead. High framerate is eye catching and can be useful sometimes for stuff like slow motion but otherwise it's pretty worthless as a style, even when you're trying to blend cgi with live shots.

There are scenes that clearly don't fit, like the infamous "I told ya" from the trailer. See it doesn't fit within the context. Maybe it's nitpicking but I suspect that Seiya's latino VA redub some of his lines because they sound different from the trailer. It's still horrible though

That was one of my favorite moments. Also introducing Mu as this mysterious smith living on reclusion was such a great moment that Kuru promoted the character to a gold saint (Mu was originally conceived as just a guy that fix the cloths). His introduction on KotZ as some dude whining with Dohko is lackluster by comparison

I don't think so. The only issue have with HnK, is the fucking atatatata, it's too fucking a gay. Especially from a series that has that entrace (you know, that Kenshiro entrace), and so many other manliness scenes, but the fucking scream is too much.

Legend of Sanctuary looked fucking amazing. The visuals were never the issue. The problem was trying to cram a full saga into a two hour movie without even deciding the audience was old fans or new ones. So you have moments that feel sort of like references but at the same time make no sense in the context of the movie itself.

Netflix Seiya looks like shit. I just saw the Seiya vs. Shaina fight and it feels so bland, when in the old series, Shaina being crazy and rushing at you was absolutely terrifying.
