M-m-muh king crimson le just works xDDD

>m-m-muh king crimson le just works xDDD

if you retards can barely understand king crimson alone, then why does
no one mention togashi's plagiarized and more confusing KC?

Wait 25 years until there's enough content for more episodes and you'll see anime only peasants making shitpost threads on it

Schrodinger's King Crimson

>more confusing KC
It's literally not confusing because Togashi explained how it works from both points of view

Sorry, I definitely don't think it's more confusing per se, but maybe more convoluted/complex?

>maybe more convoluted/complex?
Yeah, sounds about right

I got it

>m-m-muh king crimson le just works xDDD
I want somebody to shoot you in the fucking head.

What's the fun in explaining every single little detail about an ability? Togashi treats his readers like they have no imagination by going this in depth

So you can reference back for a certain page if you forget in the future. He makes like 10 chapters a year now and is on pace for this year to make none, people forget

Rules are pretty cool. It's much better then not explaining anything and then abilities do wheatever they want as a result

How is it more confusing / convoluted / complex?

It is just activated future sight that triggers an illusion when deactivated. It lacks all the "remove cause but keep the effect" messing causality thing that broke King Crimson and the "everyone everywhere skips ten seconds of their lives but doesn't notice".

King crimson is:
1. Use Epitaph to predict future x seconds ahead
2. Use KC time erasure to erase unwanted causes and skip to effects

Terror Sandwich's 2nd nen beast, on the other hand:
1. Activate zetsu
2. Enter period of 10-second predictions, instantaneous in the real world
3. Maintain zetsu, stay ahead 10 seconds in prediction WHILE continuing with the 1st prediction in real world
4. Open eyes, maintain continuity in the real world, re-zetsu as needed

While KC is definitely more "flashy" with the erase time thing, it's really a lot simpler than tserriednich's power.
I'm just interested to see how togashi will present his use of the power in an actual fight.

I will be suprised if Tse will actually fight anyone.

>2nd nen beast
He only has 1 nen beast.
KC ripoff is his ability

>no one mention
Everyone mentioned it, you slowflake.

uh

Honestly way better designed than King Crimson.
>actually makes sense
>has a clear vulnerability
>possibility to play around with the mechanics as Tse learns how to use it

King Hui did say that direct fighters are fucked in this war. That means Cammy and Ben first.

>don't explain how it works
>do crazy shit later on with the ability
>"it just works xDDDD"
>explain how the ability works
>do crazy shit later on with the ability
>refer back to the explanation in order to legitimize the crazy shit
the worst part is that togashi has already explained how nen works thoroughly, yet sub-100 IQ speedreaders still get confused about Gon-san or nen after death.

>I'm just interested to see how togashi will present his use of the power in an actual fight.
he'll be killed without fighting to subvert our expectations

how hard are you gonna laugh when togashi kicks the bucket and hxh goes on eternal hiatus?

Exactly.
I'm a bit annoyed that the manga reads right-to-left, yet the pages are here posted from left-to-right.
But exactly this.

Hunter x Hunter's version is better explained and easier to understand, though personally I think that time skip is cooler and has more impact than having the characters being trapped in an illusion. The purpose of both time skip and the illusion is the same, showing that, besides the user, no one else can change their actions, in Jojo because time just skips, and in hxh because you see an illusion of what Tse would have done if he hadn't watched the future.

I think that what user meant is that only the weird giraffe thing is his nen beast. The other thing is related to the prediction hatsu, and while also looks like a beast, it's not the same kind of beast, it was born after Tse learnt Nen.

It's a placeholder and part of his ability, he normally wouldnt be able to use nen since he is in zetsu, so this lingering nen he gives form/purpose activates it for him.

>Use KC time erasure to erase unwanted causes and skip to effects
That alone is a fucking paradox. Diavolo claims to be able to change fate yet you can't change fate if you keep the effects. What even is the point of erasing causes if you keep the effects anyway? There was also the episode with the maid coming into his hotel room where he outright stopped time (and don't tell me he didn't, you would imply that the maid stood still with her eyes closed for 10 seconds while his power was activated).

There is no unwanted shit, Epitaph always shows something good for Diavolo/Doppio for some reason.

That would be a waste, but Togashi is a notorious blue baller when it comes to fights. Honestly, the ability seems more dangerous in HxH than in Jojo. I was expecting that Kurapika would steal Tse's hatsu to prevent him to use it, and the activation condition would be so shitty that he would be stuck with an ability he can't activate and die, but KC seems pretty benevolent for Tse, it's mostly defensive and probably he can't even attack in the middle of the illusion (or, if he does, the illusion breaks). It would be pretty weird if he could for example cut Theta's hand before she shoots him, and she just keeps going through the motions. Or maybe the illusion would be so powerful that the people wouldn't even realize that they lost a hand before the illusion finishes, but that would be extremely broken.

He can erase stuff like Aerosmith's bullets hitting him, and he seemed pretty confident that he could avoid being killed by Risotto by skiping the time of his vision. Also, the part of the maid is right, per KC rules she should have entered without realizing it. Maybe Diavolo saw the future, of her opening the door and apologizing to him without getting in, but since he skipped all that she remained outside?

There are differences. First of all Tse can probably interact with people and be interacted with, as there's no erased time. Also he can't see the future without creating the illusion, unlike Epitaph which was just a broken unconditional constant precognition ability. Unlike KC, Tse can very well foresee his own inevitable demise.

>but since he skipped all that she remained outside?
That contradicts what the bucciaratti fight showed us. People still act as they are fated to inside KC power, the maid should have left the room in those 10 seconds and not just stand there.

>see the next 10 seconds
>activate power

>fuck with causality in contradictory ways
>everyone acts out what you saw while on autopilot
>delete everyone's awareness of it
>act relatively freely
vs

>set the illusion of your actions in what you saw
>act relatively freely

So much more complicated.

So basically King Crimson + Aizen?

>teamfourstar
If we needed further proof that hunterfags are cancer, this is it.

This

We didn't though.
