What do you guys think of this show?

Suffering.

>Well, that was really good and I never want to watch it again.

Is the negativity and suffering not appealing to you, user?

I thought it was pretty dull for how much the depression factor gets talked up, didn't really do much for me. I also think we've had a bizarre number of threads about it recently, although maybe that's just me.

MC is very pro-life.

There's enjoyable suffering, and then there's Sara getting raped by a soldier, pregnant and trying to induce an abortion by smashing her stomach with a rock.

This pretty much.
Back when nips were still a bit based.

More or less how I feel about it.

That scene was dead real. The truth shall set you free.

the point of the show is that the mc is a retard idealist out of place in the setting so it fits

I haven't seen any threads about it but I have seen a lot more conversation about this anime on other parts of the internet as of recently.

The story was good and the suffering effective at aiding the themes of the story, but I wouldn't call it enjoyable to watch.

Interesting but the story didn't have a purpose and so didn't the MC

I get off to the idea of a getting a little girl preggo like they did in that show

Felt like a competently made edgelord fanfic of some adventure novel, and then it suddenly turns into anti-abortion propaganda.

Depressing and not much else. Optimism can only get you so far.

SJW propaganda

The rape was hot.

From what I can remember: sad and having a cathartic stick beating scene

I really like it.

How?
In 1999?

>pro-life
>SJW propaganda
Fuck off nigger.

>be gaijin girl
>get raped

>get pregnant with rapist's child
>moralfag Jap MC will give you shit if you try to abort it

I'm sure that if she were a Jap he would have had a different opinion.

That kid was Abe

Was on the fence about whether I should watch this or not but reading various threads about it made my decision easy. Thanks.

Pretty bad

I think it's one of those shows you need to watch at least once.

I know it was done on purpose but the MC made me feel very angry and this comes from someone who likes Shinji.

The fucker went through zero growth. the way he just gets up and goes on like nothing happened when he is back to japan was the worst

If I had to sum it up, I'd say that almost all of the female characters are highly endearing, but every single male is a spastic retard. Lalaru, Sara, Sis and Soon;_; were all great. Its worth watching for them.

I appreciate it more than I genuinely like it. Atmosphere in Hellywood is kino though.

I watched the first two or three episodes a while back. It was depressing as hell which is fine but the annoying MC killed my motivation to continue. Does he get better or is he shit to the end?

It might just be me but this show came off as a bit dark at times. Did anyone else feel the same way?

No,he gets worse,which is a good thing,thats the point.

Pretty good but the message that a ~13 year old girl who was kidnapped and taken to another world to be repeatedly raped should keep the baby and also never return home to her real family so that she can instead raise a gaggle of orphans by herself in the desert was kind of weird.

this shit was stupid, the ending was stupid, i felt stupid watching it.

Last time I follow a recommendation from MAL, this wasn't like Fantastic Children at all

I think the problem I had with Shu is that he didn't really feel human, I know that him acting like an optimistic kids' show protagonist and being out of place was the point but his behavior just felt off to me, like he was some kind of soulless motivational speech robot.

Its kind of messed up that she stayed. Like, the world is still a dangerous hell hole. She probably got eaten by a sand lamprey a few days after MC left.

I think the point was that some tragedies can't be neatly resolved and sometimes things happen to you where you can't just go home and live happily ever after.

She probably could have though, with years of therapy.

Yeah try explaining to your therapist how you got isekai'd to a post-apocalyptic hellscape future version of earth where you were raped by the soldiers of a massive flying fortress ruled by a mad king. The only thing that'll get you is a one-way ticket to an insane asylum.
