That's such a weird combo, I kind of admire it. I think it really works on different levels (Negi is a mage and plot is about how magic world should stop hiding from rest of the world and Chisame is a shy cosplayer who hides her hobby from rest of the world).

they returned via time travel. just because you time travel it doesnt change the past, it creates a new timeline.

the UQ timeline is the asuna timeline. negima timeline would involve asuna not coming back via timetravel and chisame only marries negi in the asuna timeline which is the UQ timeline.

you're right i forgot about this page. but also solidifies my argument that he only marries in the asuna timeline (World A Prime) which is different from the negima timeline (World A).

like i said Negima the series ends with Prime but the Negima timeline is not prime. When you time travel you dont change the past but create an alternative timeline which is prime.

Nah, it's just a good ending to satisfy butthurt Negi fans. In the real ending, which is the current story in the sequel, he is possessed by his enemy and will eventually get killed by the new MC without helping anyone. People will just remember him as the villain who destroyed Earth.

Nah, it's the true timeline where things happen as they are supposed to. From that timeline other timelines are created.

The first timeline is Chao's. Then she went back in time and created the second timeline. The second timeline is the one that 99% of Negima and UQ Holder take place in. Like 50 years after UQH, Asuna wakes up and Eva and Chao take her back in time and create the third timeline, which is the one the Negima epilogue takes place in.

By that logic the HQ Holder isn't the main timeline either since the School's festival arc is about the time travel girl changing the story.
