The show is definately more of an auditory/visual experience than a narrative one, but there is a coherent plot with a lot of philosophy shoved in.

As already mentioned I don't think anythink it meant to be supernatural. Things generally get explained in one fashion or another, but it's hard to put these together without finishing it at least twice.

Last time I've seen it it was pretty easy to follow up until the end, though the kind of hard straightforward plot isn't that much of a focus or a point.
