Interesting, I wonder why they're dragging up the IP? Some new media, like some artbooks? Though by what you've said it sounds more like some sort of community project. Hopefully a tech project of some kind, I'd like to see some work put into speech-controlled OSs and holographic displays, or even a 3D virtual network, with nodes of the net being represented spacially in an interactive 3D render, that can be entered to visit the host's virtual space. Though that's closer to GITS SAC.
