It might be the worst crossover movie in the whole franchise. It feels like they just took the climax template and stretched it out over the entire runtime, but forgot that conflicts need to be supported by a larger plot or character arc.

And the miracle light section where they're literally just walking forward is undeniably the stupidest, most laughably boring possible situation to expect your audience to cheer for. There's no way that section wasn't added super late in the production when they realized they were out of money and needed to fill ten more minutes of runtime. Not that it looks like they had any money to start with, it's a ridiculous step back in animation quality even from the show itself.

He would've fucked Hana anytime without hesitation, he don't care about her being underage at all, pretty based if you ask me!

I remember SPD being the coolest shit my young self saw at the moment, and the seasons after that one just didn't felt hype enough. The dog captain being the extra ranger was so hype, so do the final boss battle. SPD > RPM. Beast Morphers looks interesting enough, like watching Fresh.

Mofu was never going to die, but yeah, Kumata's cry and regret over what he did is what got me. To think before Mofu NOBODY, neither human or animal liked him because of his "freaky" powers, and then being so blinded by rage and desperation that you end up 'killing' THE ONLY BEING who showed you any sort of love, must be inhumanely painful

I can't speak to Beast Morpher's quality but it's based on Go-Busters which is a really great show, one of my favorite sentais even. I know PR isn't exactly a 1:1 adaptation but still.

the easiest way to describe Go-Bus is that it's a Sentai season for Rider fans, for better or worse. its best aspects are probably the mech fights and the generals. Toy shilling is still there as with any season but it feels far more minimal compared to usual (which is great for storytelling but also probably a huge reason why it underperformed so hard in sales and is generally treated as a failure by Toei. There are other reasons PR skipped over it until now but that's probably one of the main ones.)

According to both AniDB and Nyaa tracker, Overtime subbed episodes are downloaded from 3 to 5 times more often than user's subs. Nyaa numbers can be somewhat explained by people using mega, but AniDB doesn't care about the source, only the file itself.

I think she has two lines.

Pretty much this. Maybe sort of Ma Cherie and Amour. Somehow not even the Twinkles or the older Pinks get any really good scenes.

External sub files might be a contributing factor, but do you really think it's the main one? It seems more likely to me that it's name recognition. Over-Time is a "real sub group", user is just some guy. For people outside these threads, of course they're going to go with the established one, it would feel like a safer bet.

That's probably a portion of but but I think there are three more important factors:
1. OT has name recognition, they're a well known subgroup in the tokusatsu community so naturally some people will either gravitate to them since they know they do good work or just because they know the name at all.
2. There's obviously far more precure fans than the people that come to these threads. They probably don't even notice the [user] subs on nyaa exist at all.
3. Not everyone needs their subs within the hour of raws dropping, a lot of people probably don't even bother looking to see if subs are out until monday or tuesday and just dismiss [user] as speedsubs.

To be honest Puruns feels somewhat like a fairy. Going by Futari Wa's characters, Puruns would be like Mepple or Mipple and Fuwa would be like Porun or Rurun.

There are two kinds of fairy companions in Precure:
The ones who textually explain the plot (the dreaded "expo dump") and announce how other people are feeling out loud so that kids don't miss it, and the ones who squeak, make cute noises, and telegraph to the audience who's fundamentally good or bad based on how scared they are of them.

I think Splash Star is a good season to start with, since it's basically a better version of Futari Wa, but since you already watched Futari Wa then a different flavor would be preferable, something like Fresh, Smile or Go! Princess, but anything past Yes! 5 could work, really.

I usually recommend Heartcatch or Smile but if you like the look of Maho and Suite go with them.

Funny thing is that Hikaru was the first to get closer to Madoka, but their ship is the most overlooked of Madoka's ships

Generally speaking the best advice is "just follow your heart" so if you've already got your eyes set on Maho or Suite then pick one of those. I personally like Maho a lot so I'd recommend it of the two.

No, they all used to be great, these last few ones have been cheap knock offs comparatively. I was just watching all the transformations in this one when I noticed that they used to be out of stock, and doing that gave it a different feeling, like how a superhero rips his clothes off to reveal himself. Out of stock henshins say a great deal about senpai precure in that they echo a superhero, always ready to fight and never has their guard down. Coupled with long, good, uninterrupted action sequences involving all of them makes it feel like a whole new genre compared to the current ones. There were literal smack downs in past ones. Precure as a whole needs more beat-em-up moments.

Man that was such a dumb rider, I know they kitbash the one-offs are always just kitbashed but something about that one felt especially blatant.
