doesn't matter too much with regular drawing tablets. had both a huion and a wacom one. biggest noticeable difference was that the wacom one felt a lot more durable and that the huion drivers acted up from time to time. just get one with a batteryless pen. Your active area doesn't need to be too big if you aren't already used to giant strokes.
If you get a screen tablet, get a wacom one if you can afford it. huion screen tablets have quite a bit of parallaxing and trying to configure them to counteract it only makes it worse.

Yeah, thanks for the tip. I'm usually doing each illustrations with a goal in mind, which is either a drawthread request or a certain pose I want. I currently try to search for IRL photos/videos for full body poses, as well as illustrations of fanarts I'm trying to do. The number goal is more about me gaining a muscle memory and speed.
